Does this include the deep rift though?
No, if I remember right in a video they said the deep rift will stay exclusive. I’m not sure where the video is but that’s why at the bottom it says stay tuned for more info.

Could be the region you are playing in. I play in the US and I find survivor matches in 40 seconds on average. For killer it takes about 15 seconds

Sadly… Fomo. so people will buy the rift and potentially also buy the levels they don’t get in time before it closes as there might be some things that will stay exclusive.
Right here in the FAQ it says most cosmetics from the rift will come to the store after a period of 6 months.

Anti Face Camp mechanic takes care of hard camping. Deliverance is also free and prevents camping. Reassurance isn’t really good and has like a 2% pick rate. It’s better to just trade last second.

I honestly don’t think it’s fomo because even if they said it’s guaranteed to be back in a year people would still buy the rift so they didn’t have to wait a full year to get it. Just like people do with the seasonal cosmetics. I thought I remembered them saying deep rift items were definitely exclusive though but idk maybe I’m wrong on that too.

In tome 4, there was a "seifuku (red)" cosmetic for the spirit. Still in limbo as of right now. I would love to get this skin. Its now been almost 4 years since this rift released and im losing hope for it ever making it into the shop.
Well I hope they bring it back for you! I want the red sweater mama bear skin recolor for Huntress lol. Red is my favorite color and I can’t get it. :(

they never said the cosmetics will be added after one year. They said the cosmetics might get added after at least a year.
oh really? Lol I didn’t know that. I don’t know why you wouldn’t add them for sure lol. It’s literally free money for a cosmetic you already made.

If you weren't aware, Naughty Bear gives you several in game advantages, such as:
- Very quiet footsteps
- No breathing sound at all, where you can hear it though walls with normal Trapped.
- No vault sound almost
- No initial M1 sound
- No animation sound when placing a trap, very useful with the add-on Bear Oil, where normally you could still hear the animation sound.
Overall it's a big advantage for 1v1s, considering it's just a skin.
But now we have made this second pay to win skin:
https://youtu.be/y0ur4rCXBTY?si=myBl8upw386gIJIo
It makes the wind up sound almost impossible to hear, and the lullaby extremely quiet!
This matters, because from 45 meters of outer lullaby radius, to 20 meters (12 with Monitor and Abuse), there is a lot of difference!
So this ended up resulting and being another pay to win skin!
BHVR...what are we doing? At least make the sounds louder!
The Devs already confirmed it’s a bug.

most of the rift cosmetics will be added to the shop after some time and that’s been a thing since they introduced rifts!
Though that doesn’t apply to all cosmetics for some reason and especially those that are green rarity or that are not full cosmetic sets (3 individual pieces).. maybe they will change that soon-ish? I have seen this being asked for plenty of times
The devs said that but I’m not sure that’s true anymore. They said they would come to the store a year after being in the rift and yet it’s been a year and a half since Huntress’s night owl skin has been in the rift and it’s still not in the shop. And I think it’s been two years since her Apex Ursine skin has been in the rift and it’s not in the shop either. So I wouldn’t be getting your hopes up lol.

Don't surivors have to run unbreakable and Decisive Strike both of which are paid perks? To counter not a perk but a playstyle.
Unbreakable is free. Ooff The Record is free and better than DS as well. If you want to pay to use DS that’s on you but that perk isn’t even that good tbh.

@Vindictus said:
There are already perks that counter adrenaline: No one escapes death that is nowhere as OP as adrenaline, you do not have to do anything for it to activate but reach end game, gives survivors exposd status and you receive extra speed boost UNTIL the hex totem is cleansed with the only counter is cleansing totems before endgame whilst most survivors don't even reach the end game. A hex totem that you can almost not counter unless you are a SWF.
Terminus is a perk that gives all survivors broken status in end game for 30 seconds, so you do not receive heals from adrenaline.
So I do not understand why it is being nerfed when there are already counter perks for it, yet we have to carry anti tunneling perks to not be tunneled? Solo survivors continue to get screwed over by dumb decisions that I have decided to quit the game until there are QOL improvements for solo survivors so in other words, permanently. I've never ever felt miserable playing a video game before. They only want people in premade groups to play this game, maybe should have advertised it as a party game, a waste of money.
Now I got my question officially answered this game is balanced around SWF!You shouldn’t have to pay $5 to counter a free perk. Terminus has been in the shrine a grand total of 1 Time in 2 years. And you can not claim NoEd is a counter when you want that perk removed from the game.

So, I've been playing this game for a while, and I've really been enjoying playing wesker! I've been playing with only corrupt and deadlock for passive slowdown, and trying to focus on getting chases on every survivor. I've been having a good amount of fun, but I haven't won a single game in the last 10 games. The MMR the game has put me in, essentially has made it impossible to stop all the gens from being completed because of how many chases I'm taking. I don't really want to run pop and pain res, and I don't want to start slugging or tunneling, so what can I realistically do here? It feels like the strategy to have as much fun by chasing survivors is obsolete, as even with 8 hooks the emblem system only counts that as "bronze" so I'm not ranking up at all.
I feel completely powerless and my matches seem meaningless
What are your thoughts?
You really can’t afford to spread pressure fully in this game. You don’t have to tunnel always but you should always be ignoring one person and hooking the other three. Unless you’re Nurse or Blight then you can easily spread out pressure. If you don’t want to run Gen slowdown I would run aura/ chase perks. Unfortunately survivors have Distortion is super overpowered and can literally counter 4 aura reading perks at once. So you could go into a game and end up only having 2 useable perks. People run 4 slowdowns because they are essentially the only perks in the game that can’t be countered.

There are many issues frequently addressed that lead back to how hooks and hooking work:
Face camping, Proxy camping, tunneling, 4%-ing to nope out of a match asap, gabs - or lack thereof -, hook durations — and probably a few others that I missed. Either way, I think it's safe to say that many people are - for one reason or the other - unhappy with how hooks and hooking works.
To address some of the issues I think it might be time to think about if hooks should even stay in their current form, or if they should be fundamentally changed.
Frequently people suggest to make hooks work similar to Pyramid-head's cages, where a survivor respawns on a different hook if the killer stays too close for too long. - But just like cages can get abused by Pyramid-head this could be abused by any killer: just stay close and survs will have to run across the map several times, wasting a huge amount of time.
Another suggestions that crops up rather often is that the 4% outside of specific perks should be removed so survs can't just nope out of a game and screw their team.
I took those two ideas as inspiration and wondered: What if hooks worked as follows:
A survivor gets hooked. They can't 4%. The hook stage is 10 seconds (?) longer. Instead of going second stage (/being sacrificed) the entity grabs them and spits them out next to a random hook at least x tiles away from where the killer currently is. Other survs can still unhook the survivor earlier. If a survivor gets spat out by the entity the killer gets 3 seconds killer instinct / a noise notification on the location of the other survivors and the most progressed gen is blocked and highlighted for x seconds (idk, 10 seconds?). This mechanic is disabled once all gens are powered.
The intention would be that, on the one hand, it makes no sense for a killer to stay close to the hook; it takes too long to wait for the hookstage and they don't get to tunnel the same surv immediately either. On the other hand, survs should also be discouraged from a "just never unhook" playstyle by making the time one surv is out of commission by being on a hook longer and pointing the killer directly to where they need to put pressure if no one goes for an unhook.
There's probably a bunch of issues with that concrete idea - but what about the general direction? Perks should be pretty unaffected by this. - Except for those that get proc-ed upon unhooking. But that's not unsolve-able either: E.g. Floods could just proc upon a surv getting spat out. And perks like make your choice could proc on a random survivor.
Other ideas are welcome too!Removing the 4% won’t change much. If a survivor wants out they’ll run up to the killer after being unhooked and go down again. This happens very frequently to me as a Huntress main if I down people too fast or hit a gap shot. And I do oblige and kill them immediately because they want out of the game so why not? Better than them getting angry and exploding gens/ dropping all the pallets. Proxy camping would be solved either as the distance for the cage relocation is 8 meters. And 1/4 the roster can comfortably camp 16 meters away.

No but his opinion is worth infinitely more than yours lol. Besides I disagree with Otz on several things about Huntress anyways and honestly, he isnt an authority on her considering Huntress mains with 10,000 plus hours on her alone disagree with him about her too.

You don't present estimates as facts though. Also the wiki is one search away, so no excuse to spread misinformation in order to portray Huntress as a weak killer. "I think" is used when not sure of something, yet you stated incorrect things acting like they're facts. Phrasing is very important when discussing things.
Fair enough I suppose 1.5 seconds is significant. But that wiki however isn’t accurate either as it doesn’t have her cooldown time for a throw but it is 2 whole seconds for a cancel. So if you mistakenly ready up a hatchet it’s even worse than my original timing. So as I said the point still stand of her being the slowest killer in the game. And also proves more so why Shiny Pin has such a high pick rate. And I’m not portraying her as a “weak” killer just a killer that has significant counter play and noticeable downsides. Having the heaviest recovery speed penalties in the game as wel. More than PP head/ Trickster/ Slinger, Artist and Plague.

Do you actually play this game? Huntress's wind up is 0.9 seconds and it takes her 1 second to fully charge a hatchet. So both together take 1.9 seconds.
lmao they were estimates. Don’t act like you knew that without looking it up lol. This game doesn’t tell anyone anything about their power. Besides she just got her windup buff as it was 1 second and the cool down is 1.25 so that is still 3.25 instead of 4 seconds in total if you throw it instantly. And in the majority of situations you hold hatchets for SEVERAL seconds because clutter, learning survivor movement, watching for patterns, and so on. So the point still stands that she is consistently the slowest killer in the game.

I do play killer enough and I do play both enough to understand their mechanics. I can say with certainty that I'd rather play huntress over pyramid head.
Again, hours does not equal skill.
Surely my bias as a survivor main who is practically impartial in this regard pales in comparison to that of someone with huntress in their username.
My name is irrelevant look past your own bias and realize your experience on her is no where near mine and I am a much better authority on her skill cap. And if you want to ignore that then go ahead because Otzdarva agrees with me in this regard too.

Have you considered you're playing against under 100 hour players that run when they hear the huntress' lullaby? If every survivor ran off generators the second they heard it, you'd 4k every game. Over 1000 hours means nothing when hours played does not equate to skill. People can have thousands of hours in league of legends but be stuck in bronze 4.
Your second point about holding hatchets shows exactly why hours does not equal skill. A survivor has to bob and weave when a huntress holds a hatchet, or they're an easy target. You know what they're losing by doing that? That's right! Distance! If a survivor runs in a straight line and huntress holds the hatchet for 3 seconds, she only loses just under 4 meters worth of distance. Pyramid head loses that minimum regardless of how long he holds his power. If a survivor tries to dodge a huntress hatchet like a good player does, they lose way more distance, and are essentially forced into a loop with high enough terrain to block a hatchet.
It is much easier to hold w against a pyramid head than a huntress, and that's just a fact.
It is completely moot because if you want to tunnel 1 person out of the game, congrats 5 gens are done in the 3 minutes it took you to do so if the survivor holds on. Yes, camping is one of the most complained about things right now, but if pyramid head was so much better at it, you'd think there'd be an increase in his play rate, but there isn't.
Huntress is way easier to play and her skill ceiling is much higher as well.
Well I think this conversation is over because I’m almost certain you don’t play either killer at all. And I’m certain you don’t play killer at all either. It is very easy with almost any killer to tunnel a survivor out with 3-4 gens left. You also seem to think that there are no objects on any maps at all because a survivor gains far more distance than 4 meters when they weave in and out of trees, rocks and walls.
Also I don’t have to consider the hours of the survivors I’m playing against because I’m on steam and even though I only have a few thousand hours, in the vast majority of games I match against survivors with 6,000 plus hours. Very rarely does it drop below 3,000 hours.
I would highly recommend trying both killers. And play them both enough to go against good survivors so you can shed your bias and realize the strengths and weaknesses of both killers. I have played both extensively and can say with certainty that PP head has far less drawbacks.

Huntress had been his top 5 pick for years. I don't know what prompted him to drop her 5 spots and below pyramid head, but she has always been A tier on his lists.
You also don't understand what I had said. Pyramid head's terror radius is 32 meters. Huntress' is 20 meters. Sure she has a lullaby, but you'll hear that the entire game, so you really don't know if she is coming to your gen or not. A survivor starting to run the second pyramid head's terror radius plays gives them 12 additional meters over huntress'. A survivor holding w 32 meters away is way worse than a survivor holding w 20 meters away. Besides, her hatchets cover that distance, pyramid head's power cannot. Also unless huntress is holding her hatchet for a long time, the 77% movement speed is faster if she aims and then throws like good huntresses do, because pyramid head stops in place for at least a second and has to regain his momentum when he powers, huntress is only 77% for maybe a second or two, only losing at most 3 meters, where he loses at least 4 meters.
His trails lasting 180 seconds doesn't matter if he cannot get a down. If he has effectively chased every survivor around the map without so much as a health state, let alone a survivor getting tormented, he's essentially lost the game.
Like I said, if you're getting hit through walls by pyramid head, that's a skill issue. Hitting through an animation lock like vaulting a window? Sure, but huntress can do that too.
Your comment on better tunneler is moot because if he decides to proxy camp the cage, he's also already lost the game if the survivors know what they're doing.
Also people haven't complained about moris in years, ever since they nerfed them to their current power level. Who's this secret group of people you're talking about?
Your terror radius point is irrelevant because i can tell you after over a thousand hours of Huntress a lot of survivors will start running before they hear your terror radius because when they hear your lullaby they will constantly be looking around and on high alert. So having a 50m lullaby is a huge negative. Yes pyramid head holds still for literally less than a second so that part is also irrelevant. And contrary to your belief better Huntress's hold their hatchets longer, becasue they h-ave to watch for patterns or make adjustments to not miss. Also they have to hold it for 3 seconds minimum otherwise it travels much slower and can be dodged easy af. I could literally make an hour long video about how to play her. Not the same with pp head. And she is down so low on Otz's tier list because survivors have gotten much stronger hook perks since then, along with ever worsening maps when it comes to clutter and being indoors.
And im saying If YOU cant hit a survivor through a wall without aura reads then that's a skill issue lol. Its not very hard to do and i.ve ran into several pyramid heads that can do it easily since his hitbox is so big. People are still complaining about moris everywhere, just look at any video related to them and the comments will be full of them. 3 Minutes of trails is an insane amount of time and can allow you to easily torment survivors and trust me Pyramid head does NOT struggle to get downs lol. Him being a better tunneler is not moot at all and its actually embarrassing that you dismiss that out right. Considering its one of the most complained about things in the game and he is by far the best at it. It doesnt matter if survivors stick to gens if they end up in a 3v1 in the first 2 minutes of the match because all of the ant tunnel perks dont work against him lol.

Huntress is 4.4 m/s killer. She's faster than Nurse and tier 1 Myers. Most of the killers are same/slower speed than the survivors when charging up their power. She's stronger than Trickster and Deathslinger honestly, not that they are bad killers, even if many think so. I would say you maybe just aren't that good with her.
I do like your idea for iri head rework, sounds interesting and useful, and hardly busted with the gen regression limit.
Again she moves at 77% most of the time when interacting with survivors because she has to wind up the hatchet,(which takes 1.75 seconds) aim the hatchet, reach full power (which takes 3 seconds.) throw it and then recover from it (which takes 2.35 seconds) All while moving at 77%
Meters in Tier one moves at 105% (and never slower) and Nurse moves at 86% (and never slower) on top of her being able to travel 40 meters in a few seconds. I have her P100 and have been playing her for years. She’s not bad but she is definitely not nerf worthy. If anything she needed the movement speed buff because of how bad maps are for her and how often she is forced to M1. There is a reason why Shiny Pin has an insanely high pick rate.

I'd play against a great pyramid head over a great huntress any day of the week. Especially with her 2 additional hatchets buff.
If you're talking about otz's 7.4.0 tierlist, she is legitimately the one below pyramid head lol. That is also coming up on 3 patches old.
As for skill issue sure, I dodge most pyramid head m2s through walls where he can't see me, as it's very obvious what pyramid heads try to do. I'd suggest to not even attempt those and to try to recover distance on the survivor.
As for tunneling and camping, huntress excels if not performs better than pyramid head. The only thing he has going for him is the mori on death hook, but that requires a survivor to be tormented.
If you have people looping a tile and are willingly getting tormented, that is a skill issue. Pyramid head is a hold w to counter killer until you either get to a strong loop with line of sight blockers or have nowhere else to go. That's where huntress excels. She can take those health states from distance where pyramid head can only hold w to catch up.
One below is still far different then you saying he is waaaay below her. Even with her buffs now; their spots don’t change. Pyramid head doesn’t need to recover distance, he moves at 110% when using PoTD compared to Huntress moving 77% so he has literally zero punishment for holding his power, and his recovery after a missed attack is only one second. You can’t just W key away from every loop against pp head either because his trails last for 180 seconds. So all he has to do is drop a small trail on the pallet and you won’t have a choice of he is smart. While yes Huntress is a better camper, Phramid Head is BY FAR a MUCH better tunneler. Allowing you to instantly down a survivor right out of a cage. People complain about Mori offerings and he essentially has it base kit. Him being able to hit through walls of all heights is insane because he doesn’t have to worry about the insane amount of clutter on maps and his attack being blocked by any objects. The literal only things she does better are long range health states which even then is sometimes impossible because 7 indoor maps and 30+ maps with an insane amount of clutter. And the speed of taking health states on grouped up survivors. Oh and camping. That’s literally it. Pyramid head is better everywhere else in every way.
-
@ChainsLogic said:
I think Huntress's hatchet hitboxes should be a bit leaner. Take away 10-15% from the sides so it's more of a rectangle, and less of a volleyball that you are throwing at the survivors.
Also iri head should be changed up. You start with all 7 hatchets. If you successfully hit a survivor that's 25 or more meters away from you, you get the insta-down effect and you lose all other hatchets until you reload.
On the other hand, if you're unsuccessful at this you still have a normal number of hatchets that deal one health state worth of damage, so even if you are not that great at long distance shots you won't be overwhelmingly penalized for it.
Not only is she not the best ranged killer, she isnt even top 10 of all killers. Her hit boxes are beyond fine. And considering the insane amount of drawbacks she has. Being one of only two killers that actually have to drop chase and reload sometimes, 1 of 3 killers who rely on lockers, a killer who can be made or broken by ping, being the slowest killer in the game (slower than walking nurse when holding a hatchet.) and also one of the most map dependent killers. The problem of anything is survivor Hitboxes aince they don’t follow the lean of a survivor and ping. And if you change survivor Hitboxes then they won’t be able to loop as well.
IRI head does need to change though. I would make it to where you can pop generators for 5% from a full power hit. Obviously you can only hit it if it’s not regressing. This would help with map pressure as she is slow af and would balance itself by causing her to reload far more often.

I know this might be a hard pill to swallow, but there's a reason Huntress is essentially the 5th best killer on everyone's list while pyramid head is down further quite a bit: flip Huntress and pyramid head around with everything you said and that's your answer, because everything you said was wrong.
The thing about being able to hit through walls only matters if pyramid head can see them via an aura read perk, and even then it's still a gamble. Most of the time he just straight up misses in those cases.
A hard pill to swallow is how wrong you are lol. Not only does Otzdarva put Pyramid Head higher than her on his tier list but almost every other content creator does too lmao. The only thing Huntress can do better out of what I listed is zone from further away that’s it. As for hitting people through walls I would say that’s just a skill issue on your part because it’s actually not that hard to do, it’s just that an aura read perks takes out any doubt . He literally counters 30+ strong survivor perks, counters pallet saves, allows for easy tunneling and killing a survivor on the spot. He’s also better at using M1 perks, stealth perks, exposed perks, oblivious perks, and blindness perks. Sure his add ons are trash but he is definitely better.

Pyramid Head's range literally has a red line in the ground that shows survivors exactly where it's gonna hit them so arguing that it's less telegraphed than Huntress' hatchets is literally embarrassing lol. Also it only has like 10,5 meters of range when using his 2 best add-ons that you're gonna use every single game cause all of his other add-ons are literal garbage. Also in exchange for denying survivors' meta perks he denies killers' meta perks as well aka Pain Res, Pop, Grim Embrace, Dead Man's Switch, etc., so a quick tunneling with the cages can result in an even quicker gen rush to compensate for it.
And I'm not even gonna start on what you said about Plague cause if a 115% killer who can instant down everyone was truly that strong than Myers would be considered top tier.
PoTD moves 3x faster than a hatchet, pp head doesn’t vocalize his attack and nor does he have a map wide sound of it hitting full power and nor does he have a 3 second wind up time. The power goes through walls as well and the red line is almost completely indicate if he aimed right in the first place. NOT TO MENTION he is WAAAAY better at zoning than Huntress and receives almost zero penalty for canceling his M2 or missing PoTD. And yes perma tier 3 Meyers is very strong so it’s fair to compare to plague but just imagine perma tier 3 Meyers having a 12 meter lunge and that is essentially plague. Case closed.

The only players that use self anonymous mode are cheaters, griefers and/or players that don't want to ruin their reputation. It is a feature that promotes the negativity of the community and doesn't allow other device users to report the accounts on those other devices.
I use anonymous mode because no matter how I play, people end up commenting trash on my profile or insulting me in the end game of clipping me and using my name in videos. I would rather be left alone.

Is this true about shiny pin even after the buff? I'm only asking because I'm currently 81/100 of a no addon and iron maiden only run. Since I haven't used any add-ons I was wondering which ones were necessary and which ones were just meh.
The movement speed buffs she was supposed to get never went through. So she is back to being slower than Nurse/ Slowest killer in the game when holding a hatchet. But yes Shiny Pin is considered a god tier pick because being 85 instead of 77% helps out so much when it comes to high wall loops and smaller 50/50 loops. You can obviously still win without it so it’s not like it’s an absolute requirement but any good survivor will give you hell at certain loops when you are so slow, and they can force you to M1 far more often.

Do you see that it's essentially that way but for survivor currently? The survivor is vaulting the pallet and you are not able to kick it, just like sabotaging a hook and just like heal teching at the exit gates. It just so happens that it doesn't favor killer, which isn't necessarily a problem, but it's a multifaceted topic. Why should the killer be able to lock out a survivor in that situation but not the other way around?
A survivor blocking a hook while behind it doesn’t make any sense at all. Nor does a survivor morphing through a killer. Any scenario that allows one character to go through another is not good and should be removed. Unless of course the survivor is injured, so they can still escape.

Cool. Dont care about your prestidge or hours.
And this rhetoric of 'If we get rid of all killer techs.." What are you talking about? I'm trying to figure it out but aside from Blight, what else? I need to catch up lol. Been trying to break from Dbd buuuuuuuuut lol
Well maybe you should keep up with stuff before commenting on a post about it? Or maybe idk, actually read my post? Considering they are going to be removing Weskers hug tech and Eurobond tech. Removing Onis flicks and Billy Lo Pro flicks.
Also it’s spelled.Prestige btw.

Huntress feels awful without Shiny Pin tbh, there’s a reason it has an insane pick rate. Also getting used to oak haft is awful. Nothing worse then hitting a survivor and watching them run towards you and then through you and then take a window all while you are spamming M1 only to end up hitting the window because the cooldown without oak haft is insane.

The fact dumb tech is on your list really tells me you haven't grown past that. Dumb tech is absolutely nothing but a risk for survivors. There is only benifit for the killer, or absolutely nothing happens. But the survivor gets nothing in return, except for maybe a laugh. Come on…
If you get CJ'd, learn. CJ isn't going anywhere, as its simply just the killer not paying attention. Learn and grow. As killer, you're the only one on your team. A solo'Q has to deal with the randoms, so learning and growing is a lot more arduous and time consuming for a survivor imo. So you got this! I have faith in you, Thighs! <333
Also…. 1v1 sometime? If you play huntress that is. She's easily the best to go against in a chase imo. :)
I never get CJ teched because I do in fact have a single brain cell. Neither do I ever get Dumb teched but if you are going to remove all killer techs you must remove all survivor techs to be fair. No picking and choosing, it’s all or nothing.
And I am a P100 Huntress with over a thousand hours on her alone but I don’t like 1v1s because they are very boring. Way too map and rng dependent to be any real fun. I remember the last time I 1v1’ed they had 4 windows connected together leading away from shack, meanwhile I had a small JG. That’s the last time I ever did a 1v1.

If the devs want to fully adjust how animations work, sure. But how would you prevent a survivor from vaulting a pallet? If a killer is right next to it? Or would they just get stuck in front of the killer?
You remove the option to vault it if the killer is too close. Just like how you can’t hook a survivor if another survivor is sabotaging the hook. I had a Nea start sabotaging a hook from behind the hook and it completely stopped me from hooking. They can do the same for pallets.

Window techs I agree with, CJ tech I disagree with because you're not exploiting any glitches or bugs. Knowing that vaulting a pallet prevents the killer from kicking it isn't a bug nor a glitch.
You are actively abusing the fact that you can clip through the killer model to vault a pallet and force a pick up. Glitching through a model is in fact an exploit and needs to be removed. It should auto force the killer to grab/hit the survivor off the pallet mid vault instead of forcing the pick up. Just like the dumb tech abusing the same ability to glitch through the killer model to go behind them after vaulting a pallet. Literal text book definition of an exploit.

Stop calling things like this techs and call them what they really are: using glitches that with any amount of scrutiny would show it was not what the developers intended.
I'm sure I'm not the first person to think this, but I've come up with a phrase every time I see a glitch-based tech: "It's a tech if it benefits the user, it's an exploit if it's used against them." Case and point: hug techs, oni flicks, Billy lopro techs. They're all exploiting bugged mechanics, but calling them techs "justifies" their use. It doesn't matter if there are counters to them or if it takes "skill" to perform them, abusing bugs is abusing bugs. Just because your car is physically allowed to go 120 mph doesn't mean it's legally allowed to do so, no matter how much you try to justify it.
I'm glad the devs are working to fix bugs like these, and they should continue to do so.
As long as they remove the CJ Tech/ Window crouch Tech and window tech from the survivors I’ll be fine removing them from the killers too. Also the dumb tech has to go.

But it is literally named "hold w tech"
It being called a tech is irrelevant lol. “I call this the kill survivors tech.” Or maybe we can use the “repairing generators tech.”

Including the removal of holding W tech
now survivors cant only run in a straight line for a few meters
That’s definitely not a tech lol, not even close. Annoying tho for sure.

Either way with that combo I could drop it behind you and still get you with it. I get that it's radius based but there has to be a way for them to make it to where it actually has to be in front of your physical model and still have somewhat of the radius effect
I didn’t even know it worked behind the killer. There are tutorials of how to clip into the killer when they pick up so I thought you had to do that.

I mean if that didnt exist they can still just drop it on either side of the killer against the wall and it results in the same thing. I think your complaint is more with flashbangs than a "tech.
"
Yeah you're right I guess. I’m not a big fan of an uncounterable free save that doesn't require any skill but just being nearby lol. I’m mainly concerned with flicks/ hug techs/ orbitals being removed.

That's not from clipping through the model that's because the devs have flashbang as a radius based blind, if you're in the radius you're blind even if you're kissing the wall , that's how flashbang has always been but people are just now figuring it out, even if they removed the flashbang entirely firecrackers do the same thing, the problem with that is that background player came out and it created the problem where if you're faced against the combo you have to be good enough to slug or pressure people away
Nah, you can literally go into the killer model and drop the flash bang right when they go to pick up. It’s crazy tbh.

I mean removing problematic techs is one thing, but removing things that don't work if you have over a few hundred hours is another. Hug tech drastically increased blights power in the game. Nobody who is decent at the game at all is getting window teched lol.
But people with 12,000 hours get flashbang saved even when facing a wall because they can go into your model when picking up.

A ton of survivor techs have been nerfed in the past the ones that are left are kind of an intelligence test, the survivor in front of you just stunned you with a pallet and you saw them with a flashlight and you know another survivor is down under your feet, are you really gonna fall for the CJ? Is it really broken when you had all that information? , window techs were good in 2017 but now? I know without a doubt it's a new killer if they get window teched in 2024, I personally don't think either side should be getting anymore techs removed it's a slippery slope because if you nerf Blight for the hug tech you almost have to look at oni and billy for the same thing and I personally hope they don't take anymore from either side i
Survivors being able to clip through killer models needs to be removed entirely tbh. Except for cases like when knights guard is chasing you and right after injuring a survivor. Although it doesn't happen that often, its omega wack when they get a flashbang save even when looking at a wall lol.

They already have???
Locker saves and canceling fall stagger with vaults both got removed before Blight's.
I mean all of them lol. Like every single one. I just edited the post to specify all.
