”Autopilot” could also be said about a lot of killer perks, though. I mean, Lethal Pursuer is literally one of the top picked killer perks yet you could argue that finding survivors also comes with the “game sense” you mentioned… survivor spawns are pretty predictable; why use a perk to give you information you could easily learn from simply playing the game?
You see the issue with the “us vs. Them” mentality? It’s just a circular discussion.
I’m not making it us vs them. I spend a lot of time on survivor as well but it is factually the reason why survivors pick WoO.
And Lethal is not the same at all. It lasts 9 seconds. Meanwhile WoO lasts 99,999 seconds. Even BBQ points you in a direction but you still have to look for the survivor who could be hiding when you get there.
-
There is always someone who will claim “ ______ takes no skill”
Huntress doesn’t have skill because Hitboxes
Trickster doesn’t have skill because he has so many knives
Artist doesn’t have any skill because her unbeatable anti loop
Slinger doesn’t have skill because his sights
Ignore them and move on. Simple as that.
-
Survivors really hate playing against him though so he might not get any changes for a very long time. Not to mention his pick rate is pretty low too. He’s not a priority I’m sure. Businesses try to improve the things that affect the most amount of people first.
-
Maybe, definitely looks weird lol. I know whenever Huntress falls from any height your camera goes inside her for a couple seconds and that’s been like that for a few months. So they probably know about that stuff but have more important things to worry about.

You’re getting super caught up in semantics here my guy. I said cooldown you call it wind up. Same difference it’s quicker to use your hatchet again. Huntress is one of the easiest killers to grasp as a new player and get average results from. After 100 hours of gameplay you can already be developing enough skill to win most of your games. That’s why 99% of new players learn the game on her. She does have a skill cap that is high, but far from the highest. Billy, nurse, blight are dramatically higher. I’m sorry she’s your favorite killer and you don’t want to hear this, but she was made for the new player experience. Landing orbitals and cross map trick shots is not her having a high skill cap. There’s very little complexity to the killer and no techs or mechanics you need to learn. You ignore my point which is rapid brutality would be problematic af on huntress because her recovery is already almost half as long as an M1 and her hatchets are far easier to land than most of the rosters abilities. She doesn’t take long to get a hang of, but has a decent skill ceiling that can take time to learn.
Spirit is stronger than Huntress and she is and uses Rapid Brutality just fine. And when you combo it with STBFL she can be absolutely disgusting. So Rapid Brutality really wouldn’t be that crazy on Huntress especially since she is 110/ 77. Honestly she would probably be the least problematic user of it.
Idc if she’s my favorite killer or not. Her ceiling is definitely higher than Nurse and Blight and Billy lol. ESPECIALLY after removing moon rushing/ Hugh techs. That was part of his skill ceiling and it got removed. And you saying orbitals isn’t part of the skill ceiling is flat out wrong.Huntress keeps track of far more things each match than any other killer in the game. Not only that but she can be completely gutted by 20 of the maps on the game. And is one of two killers that have to drop chase and reload. On top of being the only killer in the game that worry’s about the collision of tree tops. She has the highest ceiling and there is zero doubt.
Billy’s curving and lo pro clicks are difficult but there can only be do much that goes into turning your mouse on a horizontal plane. If ANYTHING Wesker is 2nd hardest and if they remove his big tech than it will be even less so.
And even though she is made for new people in mind, that doesn’t change the fact she has the 5th lowest kill rate out of all killers in general MMR AND TOP 5% MMR. And she has the lowest kill rate out of all ranged killers besides Trickster.
-
@BritneyMitch said:
I actually think the recent buff to huntress insanely increased her strength. I would easily put her on top of the ranged killer list and its by a considerable margin. Artist and plague are probably in A tier if they are played optimally and deathslinger and trickster are probably in B tier. I would not put huntress in S tier, but she is definitely in the top 3 of A tier imo. If they fixed hatchet logic she would be lower, but its hard to play vs as survivor because you actually have no idea what is going to hit you until it does. Sometimes you can be completely around the corner and your lag or the killers lag gives the hatchet the hit validation it needs. This weekend I had a hatchet go straight through some of the crates on the game and got a down from that. The survivor dropped pallet thinking okay I am hit, drop the god pallet and make some distance, but I already had a second hatchet pulled up before they could even drop a pallet LOL.
You’re overrating her by an insane amount. Artist and Plague are much better and by a considerable margin. And almost every cc tier list you see has them rated higher than her. Otzdarva even has pyramid head rated higher than Huntress. I’m not sure I agree but I definitely see where he’s coming from.

Well considering a normal successful attack cooldown is 2.7 seconds and this 1.75 is approaching half that I would say that’s a considerable difference. Huntress already has probably the easiest to pull off two tap in the game and it’s attached to a pretty low skill floor ability.
You said they got rid of her cooldown when she’s had the same cooldown for years lol, that’s all I’m saying. Also, low skill floor? Her skill floor is higher than half of the roster lmao. And her skill ceiling is the highest in the game. I could make a full 2 hour video on it lol.
And I would say Trickster has the easiest “2 Tap” because if you hit a survivor with 7 knives and activate main even you can actually down them before there on hit speed boost ends lol. Kinda insane.
-
Must be because of the items / Prestige’s. Out of every 100 survivor matches I would say the killer leaves probably 10-15 times. And who knows if it’s because the lobby or maybe they had to go do laundry or something.
I think lobby shopping is also overblown too. 7 out of every 10 matches I play has a minimum of 1 P100. 5 out of 10 of my matches have a TTV in them. I’ve had multiple P400 lobbies and I never dodged any of them. Prestige has zero indication of skill.
I used to dodge before but You'll never get better if you dodge the good players. You can learn a lot from sweaty players on the fly. It’s a very good way of learning and if they are cracked and you do beat them it feels great. But if you lose it doesn’t feel terrible either because they have 10,000 more hours than you lol. -
@BritneyMitch said:
Huntress is already so very strong in chase right now, especially with her two tap potential. Currently with the removal of the cooldown when a hatchet is thrown survivors already make 0 distance before another hatchet is ready. This specific interaction is a major problem in my opinion even without rapid brutality.
aim not sure what you’re talking about because her cooldown hasn’t changed for 7 years. Her windup was increased by 10% but that’s nothing insane. The on hit speed boost lasts 1.6 seconds and her recovery time is 1.75 seconds. So they do in fact make all the normal distance as they would against an M1 killers hit.
-
Artist, Plague, Huntress, Trickster, Slinger, and Uninown in that order.
Artist has insane Anti Loop, 115%, doesn’t worry that much about crappy collision or hitboxes, huge information advantage too and has map wide pressure, protects times and gates easy, can use stealth and M1 perks very well.
Plague has insane slowdown, information, 115%, constantly broken survivors, essentially no healing, and a very strong but time limited ranged attack, insane add ons as well, protects totems and exit gates easily, can also use stealth and M1 perks very well.
Huntress has fast injuries and downs, map wide injury potential, can zone well. That’s honestly it pretty much lol.
Actually now that I’m thinking about it Huntress should be able to climb trees and run through them like the predator in predator Hunting grounds. That would be sick.

i always laugh at posts like this. people who hate people who attempt on hook are always more entitled than the survivors giving up, saying ridiculous stuff like "i don't want to reward this behavior!!!" "these people are SUCH babies"
but you're the big tough guy for reading paragraphs because one guy wanted to go next. yeah. sure.like i'm not for giving up on hook, but honestly, seeing how quick people on this forum are to spite people who even try attempting is wild, like winning games is their child and these random survivors just drowned it in front of their faces.
all of them use the word entitlement too, as if expecting people to always play out every match with you no matter what regardless of how grim or unwinnable it is isn't also entitlement, like people do it to inconvenience you specifically.😂
I’m genuinely baffled that you’re defending someone who forced themselves into the second hook state on their first hook. That’s basically a death sentence for that survivor. Let alone them missing their skill check. That’s clearly giving up behavior.
It’s an entirely different story to try and yeet off a single time when a survivor is nearby and it won’t put you into 2nd hook state. But that’s not what they did.
-
It’s really just entitlement plain and simple. Yesterday I got sandbagged super hard by a team mate and went down because of it and I stayed. I then failed to dead hard and got downed immediately and I still stayed. I then failed to Dead Hard AGAIN and stayed and died.
All of that happened in one single match. Was I annoyed? Absolutely. But I’m not a baby who cries and gives up when things don’t go their way.
meanwhile I had a match later where a survivor tried to kill themselves on hook. We unhooked them and they ran right to the killer who downed them and slugged them for 4 minutes. We all worked on the last 3 gens while they were slugged and got a 2 man out.I felt bad because they didn’t go afk and were occasionally crawling around nearby and they clearly wanted to try to play again once they saw us winning. But I left them on the ground to not reward that behavior. I’ve been punished like that before and I deserved it. But I don’t do that anymore.
-
The best charm is the Captured Heart charm from Hooked on You. That’s my favorite. 2nd is the Huntress werewolf one

Current map designs allow for 3 consecutive sabos and for the Killer to still get a hook, and that's ignoring the Killer being able to safely drop Survivors anytime prior to ~13s of being carried. This also can only be done once per match with a Purple, and just shy of twice per match with a Commodious/Event toolbox. That also means the Toolbox didn't shave ~20s of gen time, and the person was off of gens that time to prep the sabos. The math is still so far in favor of Killer for Survivors to sabo vs pump gens that it is hilarious.
People mainly complain about slugging when they don't have agency. Being in the middle of the map with the choice to recover on the spot, or crawl further from a hook, gives them the agency they need to not hate it. Its mostly sweating for the 4k when the Killer has 0 idea where the 4th is at when people complain about slugging.
You got a lot wrong in that comment. Sabotaging takes 6 charges a Purple tool box which sabos 50% faster has 16 charges so I can sabotage just shy of 3 times. The green commodious tool box has 32 charges so it can sabo 5 times. Add in built to last and it can sabo 10 times. Add in street wise and it can sabo 15 times. Thats without charge add ons.
Not to mention the PTB Purple tool box is going up to 100% sabo speed and the green box is going up to 50% Not only that but you can not sabo three hooks currently and the killer still end up hooking. Its two at most in 99.99% of case and 3 in nieces scenarios where the killer brought the hook offering on an indoor map.
And on live the toolbox is actually a risk where you have to take a hit to get the sabo or else the killer will just go somewhere else. On the PTB there is no risk at all. You can easily sabo a hook without the killer being able to even get close enough to swing. Then when they look for a different hook you get in front of them with breakout and get to the next hook and save it easily as well.
It needs nerfed plain and simple. Tool boxes need nerfed overall anyways. I can bring a 4 man commodious double charge add ons with all 4 running BTL and SW and clear all 5 gens in less the 5 minutes. Survivors say they can’t win but if they did that every game they would win almost every time.

I was playing clown in a match i was winning by a lot, had two people hooked once and one people hooked twice and they didnt even finish their first gen.
I go back to basement because i heard the unhook and the two survivors stop, look at me and start crouching at high speed while looking at me.
I dont know what that means, but its similar to what some survivors do to ask me to let them open the gates when they are the last player (which i tend to concede if i already hooked 3) so i interpreted that as asking me for a bit of lenience and i leave without hitting them or hooking them (it could easily had been a double-kill).
They do a gen, i hook another guy, and when i find those same two survivors working on a gen again, instead of running, the start looking at me and crouching quickly again. I walk up to them and get in melee distance but they didnt even buldge. Again, since i had a large advantage that map, i kicked the gen, throw a few bottles to scare them and let them go without killing them (they are both dead on hook) Later, with one survivor dead and everyone else dead on hook, and 3 gens done, they try the same next to another gen and this time i do hit them both and kill them both.
Where they trying to ask for lenience as i thought originally? Or is some etiquette here that i dont know?
They weren't teabagging because they were facing me and they didnt try to flee or anything while they did it, but surely they didnt expect me to let them go every single time, because that would be stupid.
Im still wondering what the hell happened in that match.
They were probably trying to befriend you. I do it with Huntress’s all the time. If they kill me anyways I don’t care as they might just want to play the game for real. But it’s fun to do sometimes.

It's impossible for me and a lot of people. I've placed it on Freddy a few times. Once I had a team all want to give up, pointing at hooks for me to kill them. I led them to the Hex so they could break it. I can't hit a skillcheck with that perk myself. I can't focus. If the Killer brought Pentimento, that's too bad because I'm getting rid of Huntress Lullaby no matter what.
Seems like they should just rework it entirely tbh. I don’t know anybody who likes it. Killers don’t like it (except Doctor) and survivors don’t like it

Unnecessary. It's an incredibly strong perk so long as it's standing. Like all Hex Totems, it must be defended.
This post is basically admitting that it's so strong, you are wanting to keep some of its benefits after it's gone.
No. When a Hex is gone, it's gone.
You think it’s strong?! What makes you say that? It’s one of the only perks I see almost unanimously agreed on to being awful.

Again it’s not that simple for everyone to stream depending on their computer system or their internet. Thats a variable that needs to be accounted for. Based on what you’re saying it appears again that he has no control group whatsoever and variables weee not accounted for.
And there is no universally agreed upon definition of tunneling which is why what he sees as tunneling should be clearly stated. His “study” does not pass muster.
Regardless it's the closest we've got to real evidence. And while yes a killer chasing someone for 5 gens and not getting them at the end is considered tunneling. Not a single person would complain about it. They would record it and post it on YouTube. Like I said people claim to get tunneled 24/7 but I almost never see it. He never sees it and all of the content creators I watch I almost never see it in their videos unless its specifically titled that way.

He never differentiated between matches where the player gets tunneled or the other Survivors get tunneled.
That was literally my first huge issue with it. It asked for how often YOU get tunneled, not how often you SEE tunneling. I get tunneled, probably, more often because I'm P100 and bad. I still only get tunneled maybe in 1/5 games. Maybe. I SEE tunneling more frequently than that though.
Likewise, yes, your takes usually remind me of a less experienced me.
But that doesn't change the fact that in his video he said he almost never got tunneled and neither did any of his teammates and that goes for the people that sent him "evidence" So while yess the poll maybe slightly skewed, its far easier to remember if YOU got tunneled vs a teammate.
It might be because your P100 because for some reason people still seem to think that has any indicator of skill. And my takes are only strange to you because you are clearly a survivor main and I am clearly a killer main.

Nah the Windup movement speed was insane. It pretty much made her zoning better than Slinger since Slinger can't hit over pallets and has a lengthy reload/miss.
The extra hatchets and windup buffs were good, anyway. She still got those.
Huntress moves 15% slower than slinger while holding. Slinger can hit over half of the pallets in the game, although I think his chain does need a buff. She is also one of the only two killers in the game who has to actively drop chase, go find a horribly placed locker and reload. Artist could still zone WAAAAY better than her PTB speed. Pyramid head can also zone better considering PoTD goes through walls and he moves at 110 while holding PoTD. Trickster can literally chase while holding knives.
77% while holding a hatchet (slower than Nurse walking0 is in fact outdated. About 20% of the loops in this game you can't land a hatchet at no matter if you have 10,000 hours on her alone or not. And indoor maps are the cherry on top. An 80-85% hatchet holding Huntress would not have been bad at all. She would've went from Low A Tier to Mid A Tier.

This forum is a tiny compilation of all of DBD gamers. Where else did he do polls at? Plus how many responses did he get in his poll? What about the people who don’t stream? How many actual participants did he get? How many of the people who replied to his poll saying they were tunneled were the actual people Lagos streamed him proof? Also what’s his definition of tunneling and why does he get to decide what constitutes tunneling and what doesn’t?
See what’s wrong with his approach as an actual scientific and or statistical analysis?I believe he said in the video it was around 500 people. And he just did reddit and the forums. He said anybody could stream and you didn't have to talk or anything. It's easy to stream gameplay without a face cam and just the game so anyone could do it. Only 2 people actually sent him vods. I have no clue if the people who sent him the vods claimed they were being tunneled on the poll but they did say they get tunneled all the time.
As for the definition of tunneling it's very obvious and universally agreed on that the most common form of tunneling that people complain about is 3 hook tunneling and getting someone out as early as possible. So that's the definition he went with.

Once a while there always spawns a new post or social media drop from someone who says something like "Oh I love Huntress but she should have like 4 hatches and slower trow speed, etc." or "I love Chucky but his power should be 20 sec cooldown.". I always find these so strange and funny.
Its like you like some killer or perk and like to use it a lot yet you find it OP or think it should be nerfed so you can.. enjoy it less I quess or something or be less usefull.
I am not talking about obvious OP things like No Cooldown on M2 Xeno or Twins recall Victor in 8 sec after attack, etc. I mean like good solid A tier or B tier killer mains who downtalk their main and want them to suck more. Don't get it.
They're all survivors pretending to be killer mains to get them nerfed. Very few and I mean VERY FEW real Huntress mains were against her getting the speed increase. The ones who have thousands of hours on her said she needed it but it just needed to be toned down and Shiny Pin needed to be reworked.
But I seen people saying "oh im a Huntress main and she actually needs to be nerfed heavily!' I even talked to people who said she was waaaay to strong on the PTB and I asked them how many matches they played and guess what they said. NONE, they were console players commenting and making posts about how OP she was on the PTB and they never even played against her.
They seen that one cherry picked Twitter clip and made up their mind right there on the spot. And the backlash was enough that they didn't even try to rework it or watch the kill rates. They just nuked it. Ive said it before and ill say it again Shiny Pin has an insane usage rate for a reason.

It’s hilarious to me when people like him disingenuously ask for “proof” for stuff like this because they’re obviously just sea lioning. Let’s break this down.
In order to provide legit proof of excessive tunneling that means you have to show ie record multiple matches. It’s not JUST one match. It’s multiple matches over longer periods of time. That’s how we get statistics and are able to quantify things. So let’s say I tell someone “In 20 matches I’ve played I got tunneled out in 15.” So for someone like Scott that means he wants me to record, upload and give him the links to 20 full matches. Each match typically lasts about 10-15 minutes on average. If I’m tunneled out at 5 gens that’s maybe a 3-4 minute video EXCEPT we still wanna show the entirety of the match so he can’t say “We’ll that was just you, he didn’t tunnel anyone else so maybe you just were toxic!” so we show the full match for the full view. Also maybe im not sound first so I wanna show the full match to show that I was the 2nd or 3rd person tunneled. So If I’m showing 20 matches at 10-15 minutes per match, that’s a LOT of recording and upload time that I have to spend to show someone, which could be even longer if I don’t have super fast internet.
Then let’s say I show it to him and he comes back with “Well how do I know this was 20 consecutive matches?!” You could have played 50-60 matches and this is all spread out diluting your stats so how do I know this is what you say it is?” Then you’re in the position of what? Having to somehow prove that these matches were all played consecutively? How would you go about doing that?
So let’s say you make it easier on yourself and say “Okay I’ll show you 5 matches instead” and you show 5 matches and you got tunneled in 3-4. Then he can say “Okay but that’s only 5 matches! That doesn’t show that you’re being overwhelmingly tunneled!”
In order to prove to him what he wants would legitimately take way more time, effort and resources than one person can reasonably be expected to exert and he’s expecting multiple multiple people to do this?
Thats how sea lioning works. Either proving to someone what they want is too burdensome and time consuming so you just don’t do it, or you do it and they move goal posts constantly and use that to “disprove” what you’re saying. I’m even willing to bet most people declined to show him proof because they already recognized this and it wasn’t worth it to them. Then he gets to say he “won” because “no one showed me proof!”
The fallacies are so many in why this dudes “study” is bogus and the fact that anyone sees him as a credible source as far as whether or not tunneling really happens is beyond laughable to me.
He did a poll on these forums and got everyone's input. Then he asked people to stream for 8 hours and make timestamps for where they go tunneled. He went through every single stream they sent and where they said they were tunneled. And they were all wrong, not a single person was tunneled more than 1 or 2 matches out of 8 hours.
Send him your proof if you have it. Like I said I never see it either so the burden of evidence is on the people making the claim to prove it.
-
It needs a full rework. Doctor and Noob survivors are the only reason this perk will never get the buffs that it desperately needs. To actually do anything against good survivors you would have to speed the skill check rotation speed by 15% per token, decrease the skill check zone by 15% per token, on top of what it does already.
There is literally zero reason it should have the same requirements as Devour Hope which is better in every way. Devour Hope even does slowdown better because when DH is revealed all the survivors try to find it instead of working on gens.

I think Scott did that for a little bit of fun, not to be taken as the word of God.
There's numerous issues with it, but even that notwithstanding, it's weird to take a CC and prop them up like that.
Literally changes nothing. He said he doesn't believe people who say it and asked for proof. People even streamed for him to watch it and there was zero tunneling in it at all.
Everything I say is weird to you for some reason. And its weird of you to say I'm propping up a CC when all I'm doing is pointing to a study he did on all of us, YOU included because he made the poll on these forums. Besides my own experience and watching videos of people claiming to be tunneled have extensively proven people either A. Are lying. Or B. Have no clue what tunneling actually is.

that is not a positive. the pulling aspect of slinger is drawback because SWF can bodyblock you. They're trying to buff this in next patch by giving him movement speed while realing but the issue is the -50% durability on the chain when an object or survivor is in the way. It massively lowers durability of his gun allowing survivors to escape his ability.
I disagree with Increasing projectile size or increasing projectile speed. The reason being is that gameplay of slinger is balanced around survivors being able to flick dodge his shot where skill exponent of being able to do that is reading when he is going to shoot.
The issue is that with 0.4 second charge-up time, there is no skill exponent in knowing when he is going to shoot because it is react to him pulling out his gun. When the charge was 0.2, there was a skill component is knowing when he was going to shoot. The better players figuring how to counter his ability while worse players complained he had no counter-play/unfun.
Right now, his biggest problem in my opinion is pre-running. He's 110% with 4.4 m/s. You have so much more time to hear his TR that survivors can be running in front of you and your just playing catch-up. Sometimes even unable to shoot because out of range and then if you miss, your losing even more distance.
Fair enough points. Pre running is a huge problem for a lot of killers but that can't be stopped. Its worse for 115 M1 killers.

A survivor hit with a hatchet gains 4m in net distance during the 2s of cooldown before they are back at 4.0m/s and you are back to 4.4m/s (6m/s * 1.8 + 4m/s * 0.2) - (3.74m/s * 2)
Yeah you're I right lol, 50 meters is pretty much the whole map. Im thinking more like old adrenaline for whatever reason. So they would be 20 meters away.

Tunneling and camping is waaaay overblown. Scott Jund called everyone out about lying and asked for proof and not a singular person has proved that they get tunneled or camped the majority of their matches.
I get genuinely tunneled in about 1 of every 18-20 matches and have teammates who get tunneled out or camped out in 2-3 of every 30 matches. Stop talking about it and prove it please. Stream your game however much you can so we can see this happen. I’ve never seen it, Scott never seen it and I won’t believe it till I see it. -
Slinger has the unique ability to pull survivors away from pallets, safety and possibly into a dead zone. If you hit a survivor who is 15 meters away with a hatchet, after their on hit speed boost they are now 50 meters away with many LOS blockers. But with slinger if you shoot them at 15 meters away, reel them in and hit them they are 10 meters away after their speed boost. Not to mention he can use exposure perks, M1 perks, and stealth perks way better than Huntress.
That being said I think his harpoon hitbox should be bigger and I think he should be 115, as I don't believe any killers without a movement speed ability should be 110. But knowing how people are they genuinely do NOT want to see ANY killers buffed at all because they struggle to win for some reason already. And his kill rates are at the target range so im not sure they will make any significant changes.
-
He is laughably bad now compared to how he was. They did a very good job at gutting him. He's still good of course but I would say he is more like mid to low A tier now.
-
True and Otzdarva had a video where they talked about a “suffering mechanic” where the goal was to make survivors suffer as much as possible through hooks and wasn’t balanced around kills. Sounded like a great idea honestly.
-
You shouldn’t be able to save a hook for free. Current sabo basically requires you to get hit to sabo and get the save. PTB sabo you can run past the killer sack the hook and run to another hook and sabo it for free.
Not sure why we are incentivizing slugging and making it harder to hook when survivors are complaining about slugging so much.
-
They said they won’t port them all so people will still play mobile. I think they could just make it to where if you buy it on mobile then you get a code to use it in the main game. But I don’t think they liked that idea lol.
-
Whenever you change FOV your sensitivity changes with it. Not on an actual number scale but 50% will feel wildly different between 87 and 103. If you just changed your FOV I would suggest going into bot matches and changing you sens percentage by 5% after every engagement until it feels right.
When I went from 103 Down to 92 I had to completely rework a lot of my skill and aiming tbh. On top of readjusting my sens and DPI.

Wait a minute. Daily loging rewards? where can you redeem them? How?
You should just get them when you login. Check your inventory on Huntress. If it’s not there you might have to contact support!

May I ask what your Huntress Prestige level is?
100 lol. The one and only character I have P100 and honestly will never P100 anyone else.

so no one knows how to get it?
I got it! I contacted player support and they gave it to me. I think they might have redone it for everyone so I would check to see if you got it

No don't! I need to keep you posted on my journey to Basic Attack Only Huntress. I plan to play as her tonight, just for fun, in Chaos Shuffle!
That sounds like it could be brutal tbh. Just don’t be disheartened from trying M1 Hunty if they give you trash perks😭
And I don’t plan on taking a break but if aura reading gets gutted then I won’t have any real fun left. I like to land snipes, orbitals, double taps and stuff. That’s why I still play this game 6 hours a day lol.

No. The Killers I'm facing are going all aura. It's crazy that you can literally just know where everyone is all the time.
Lethal Pursuer + BBQ. LP one down and we're all bowling pins after that with a combination of two of these: Gearhead, Nowhere to Hide and A Nurse's Calling. I saw a couple Bitter Murmurs today too.
Expect to see it far more often now that they are gutting Gen regression perks. I expect them to gut aura reading next if people complain about it enough. I might end up taking a break from the game after that tbh.
-
They complain about 4 slowdowns
They complain about 4 Aura reads
I’ve even heard them complain about 4 window vault speed perks now that Vecna is out.
4 aura reads is only oppressive on like 5 killers. And the rest of the roster will get walked over if they attempt to use 4 aura reads.
The simple fact is they don’t want to have to try or think very much at all. That’s why they all bring WoO because it removes the thinking, remembering, and game sense. It’s literally auto pilot for survivors.
-
Honestly he feels awful now. Was one of the most fun killers by far but they gutted him. And making his collision better makes it literal impossible to navigate through door ways or tight space while rushing. I spend 2-4 tokens just try to get through a door tbh.

This is assuming that survivors are going down constantly (same fallacy which has gotten all other gen defence perks nerfed), and are getting downed around active gens all the time, which good survivors never do. Let's not balance for casuals.
That’s a great point tbh. Also surge can be countered by going into a locker.

Do you want them to be using Pain Res, Pop AND Surge? Because they will.
They wouldn’t do that because there is an 8 regression limit. Surge would eat that limit so fast that pop and pain Rez wouldn’t be useable. Having surge would literally shut down the other two.

Surge I can agree with, rapid brutality and save would be horribly overpowered if they were given to huntress. Many of them I could agree could be looked at the be on m2’s, but save or rapid brutality would be horrible for the game.
Yeah I wasn’t including STBFL because that seems obviously made for weak M1 killers specifically now that they changed it. But losing Bloodlust because of Rapid Brutality would actually be a huge hindrance to Huntress at some loops. I’ve done the math and about 15% of the loops in the game you’re forced to M1 at as Huntress, no matter how good you are you HAVE to M1 or leave. And bloodlust helps out tremendously at those loops. So it can be a huge trade off.

Oh right, I guess that would be true. Blight has such a low recharge on his power that I lowkey forgot that he even has it lol.
If you use all 5 tokens it will take about 6 seconds to get his power back too. That’s on top of the weapon wipe and injection animations.

I see your game...
You want to pop Surge by throwing an Orbtial across map, and get 5% speed boost whenever you land a hatchet...
You can't fool me HuntressThighs 😏
But yeah, that's the reason, killers with strong M2s like Nurse, Blight, Wesker, Pyramid Head get a lot of value from their M2 already. These perks have strong effects to help out the killers on the weaker end of the spectrum.
Rapid Brutality for example disables bloodlust, which on someone like Trapper or Pig is a big deal... on Nurse or Huntress... who cares about bloodlust?
🤫You’ve caught me lol 😂 But in all honesty, I just don’t think the perks are strong enough to warrant them being M1 only and if their job is to help weak killers they could be buffed because they really barely help weaker killers. M1 only perks shouldn’t exist outside exposure perks. It’s limiting and boring and unuasable on 1/4 the killers in the game.
