cheating will continue to happen as long as players feel they can get away with it with no real punishment on the horizon. I still dont understand why people want to cheat in a game that has no real competative scene still tho thats no excuse to cheat regardless.

I like the idea of tasers but they should get charges from completing gens so they dont get over used

Vhs has potential but i dont think itll take anything away from dbd i do hope however it gives behavior some ideas to incorporate into either dbd or dbd 2 if that ever happens in the future with of course ray tracing so the lighting feels extra creepy.

The only reason I suggested it is because camping is completely unfair to a player that has no recourse but to sit there waiting to die. Its needs to be something that pushes the balance out of wack for the killer on the slip side so they are less inclined to do it. Some kind of penalty thats not a bp loss so as to discourage it

Killers that camp should increase gen repair speed by 5-10%

Its what they call fire management alot of the times fires will existinguish themselves over time and nothing needs to be said but other times a lot of little fires can combine into a roaring blaze and its better to address them so as to extingush them over time and not let them become more fuel for the next issue

Looping didnt really work until lithe with spark of madness sure you could still do it but it wasnt as effective

If only killers could have a perk called totem roulette where when a blessing is put on the field a 5th random perk pops up or hex to offset it somehow that way survivors can put too many on the field so as to not buff the killer too much.

Learning how and when to rush cancel is the first step as arbiter said good survivors know your biggest weakness are zigzags in a chase as you end up running out of tokens fast. Ideally practice using that addon that lets you face closest survivor after a slam and once you get use to using it as well as used to blight thats when you need to stop using it so you can use more powerful combos without the training wheels on. Also he is a bit easier if youve had some practice with legion who is similar in a lot of ways but not as dangerous.

Ideally I want a non humanoid type killer which is why I suggested the plant even the demo is humanoid to an extent and I feel they need to start getting a little bit more creative with their characters.

Balance is the single most difficult aspect in a game to achieve and we cant fault them for taking so long as it takes so many finetuned tweaks in order to find that grey zone where the character isnt overpowered or underwhelming. Sometimes its back and forth on a scale until the proper place is found.

Anytime a killer tunnels me that scene from Jurassic park with the Trex chasing their jeep plays in my head lol if only we had a rearview mirror on our hud so we didnt have to keep looking back haha

Personally i feel the whole video proof in order for it to happen argument is a little dated. Granted the evidence should be rock solid I just wish dbd recorded games to the servers some how so as to let the behavior see it themselves easier than having to watch on youtube or otherwise. Cheating will unfortunately always happen as long as the punishment feels non threatening and any parent knows you dont let your kids keep skipping their choirs in the hope they will do them in the future.
