The blight is fun, top tier and undying is a great teachable to have.
-
Honestly can't wait for the penalty to come back so all the children can be put in a time out and we can get proper matches again.
-
Xenomorph for licenced otherwise I'd take any original killer based on monster mythology like a werewolf or vampire.
-
If I'm playing Hag or Twins and maybe clown/demo gonna 4k more often than not.
If I'm playing other killers I like but not as good with it's more often a 2k. Rarely 0k unless it's a full red rank SWF or I'm on a bad map with good solos like pig's pallet emporium.
-
Press "E" to outplay kek.
-
As someone who really likes both the lore of dbd and complex killers if they saved the next license until next year I wouldn't be bothered.
All the license killers save Executioner and Demogorgon (the more modern licenses) have really simple powers that really boring.
Myers-Stabby one shots
Bubba-Chainsaw one shots
Freddy-Was interesting but got reworked into blood puddle in loops to win.
Pig-Ambush doesn't really function well. Head traps are cool but your forced into the same add-ons every game to make them work.
Nemesis-Tentacle man that give survivors an extra health state.
Ghost Face-Myers/Pig variation.
I know they're icons but from a gameplay perspective they're extremely limiting in what they can do. I'd take a twins or a Plague that have complex powers that can only come from building from the ground up for a video game than copy and pasting yet another slasher any day.
-
I really like swamp except when you get two gens on the dock it's a little dumb when that happens.
-
I've uninstalled 2-3 times always after a bad killer session and dealing with multiple bully squads in a row back when I was stuck in green ranks.
I eventually went back to the game each time and eventually made it to red ranks. I still have bad sessions now and again it just doesn't bother me as much anymore.

The "shut off a killer's power" part has been addressed a lot already, so if you're interested, check that out.
I know but that doesn't mean I agree.
-
A lot of perks need buffs way before Windows should ever be looked at when Windows isn't even a bad perk and is great for beginners.
I also don't think a perk should be able to shut off a killers power so that would be a bad way to buff it IMO.
-
I don't think it makes sense for the type of game dbd is. Instead I'd love if they released cinematics from time to time like league does and how Overwatch used to.
-
In my experience it's been huntress sweating for the 4k while bringing iri head.
-
A siren that sings like huntress and maybe it could mess up controls or make you do things slower to simulate you being drawn to it. And maybe it can super jump to traverse buildings like asylum or Thompson house better.
-
I'm really disappointed I thought this would be a poll for the most out of shape killer and was curious if anyone was going to say anyone other than clown.
-
Plunderer's...
I like treasure hunting for keys but decided I should probably stop slowing the game down for my team just for memes every game.
-
Stop caring about the other side's made up rules and it'll feel like a massive weight is taken off you and you'll have a lot more fun.
If people wanna act like you doing things that are not against ToS and are in the game as a part of it makes it like you're a bad person that's on them not you.
-
Tinkerer and Dead Hard.

Despite the Nerf, wich was deserved, Undying is still Meta so apparently BHVR sucks at changing the Meta. And if you're talking about Eruption then forget it, Eruption is not Meta and it's value is minimal for the set up required.
So now imagine, you're a new killer player and you already have Nemesis cause that's how you got into DbD, now you get Ruin+ Undying for FREE because BHVR gave you the shards during the event. Now you're on Meta Perks, and jsut like you there's manny more now on Meta, and the Meta is just going and going and BHVR doesn't have to change anything about the game so there's a Meta change, you got those FREE so you can't complain or won't think why BHVR is winning and we're all losing.
You missed the entire point of my most I wasn't denying ruin/undying is meta (although it's far from necessary) I'm saying BHVR has attempted to shift the meta they just failed.
I really doubt this is the last attempt though and to suggest they want it to be the meta forever is silly. I swear only this community could take BHVR trying to do something nice and turn it into a dumbass conspiracy.
-
Yes BHVR never tries to change the meta that's why undying got nerfed and they released a perk with nemesis that has no synergy with hex/undying. You can say their attempts to change things don't often work but to say they don't try is pretty goofy.
-
No holding onto victor is actually what you do against twins (the other thing is always work in pairs). If you try to throw victor off and Charlotte is anywhere nearby you're just giving them a free down. The problem comes from soloQ because you're supposed to stay away from the rest of your team if you decide to hold onto victor and many don't either because they don't know the strategy or general oblivousness and then the twins player does get value. It probably is something like they heard that's how you counter twins but then don't realize there's extra steps to it they're not doing.
-
......
Wut?
-
Same especially since I haven't found the the last two chapters appealing thematically it's been a while since I had some thing to be excited about. I'm holding out hope next chapter is something up my alley.
-
I'm waiting for the moment survivors complain about killers having perks at all.
-
As killer? Never
As survivor? Also never except for myself and I personally find it very very good and always try to include it in my builds now. You do need a way to heal to get max value though.
-
Well there's no other options now, guess you have to curse their bloodline.
-
Oh right I knew there was one other dumb argument I forgot in regards to NOED the "rewards failure" argument which comes from the faulty notion that killer's job is to protect gens and if all the gens are done the game should already be considered over and the killer should just let people open the doors and leave because idk I'm sure survivors wrote it down in their rulebook somewhere.
Killers should try to prevent gens from being done but not because it's their objective but because it helps them in what their actual objective is which is and I know this may be shocking to some people, killing. But if all the gens do get done the game isn't over it just goes to the next section which is powering gates and if the killer wants to focus their build on that section of the game I'm really quite confused why that's considered so taboo. The killer has not failed until the survivors have escaped and not before then.
-
Low key can't wait for buffed no way out for devastating end game builds where NOED actually makes sense instead you something you stick on as a back up plan when your plan fails. Something like NOED/Blood Warden/No Way Out/Free Slot. I think it could be fairly relaxing as killer that instead of putting yourself on a timer and worrying about "gen rush" (also known as survivors doing their objective please stop calling it gen rush it's hilariously stupid) you can just build up your NWO and finish them in the end game.
As for NOED itself I feel like survivors only hate it because it means they can't BM and actually have to get tf out and they hate the feeling of having to actually respect the killer. I don't think NOED is amazing it generally forces teams into sacrificing a teammate and just leaving or putting themselves in great danger and I think the former is generally the smarter option but the latter can lead to some great moments if you can pull it off. I know people say they don't complain about devour when it does the same thing because the killer has to "earn" it but can we stop pretending getting 3 hooks is all that hard? If you don't mind devour you really shouldn't mind NOED.
On the topic of the unearned downs argument half of y'all run dead hard which gives you a free health state for getting hit so please stop pretending you're trying to present a serious argument and arn't just putting forth some hypocritical salt.
-
Rework mother-daughter ring to do something else and get rid of the shell mechanic because that "mind game" doesn't actually take much thought and I think spirit is completely fine.
-
The answer is demo and we will purge all heathens that say otherwise and don't give demo headpats.
-
He's not broken or anything I think he's overall average but he's extremely boring to go against either you pay attention to the nearest window around you at all times so he can't chainsaw or you start feeding him pallets and hope they're not all gone by the time you get the gens done. This does not lend itself to interesting gameplay imo so I just have to hope my team takes advantage of his lack of mobility and gets the gens done as quickly as possible away from whoever he's chasing so I can try and get a more interesting killer ASAP.

I mean, it's an exaggeration, but only .00000001% of the playerbase are god Nurses. And until you reach that point, Nurse is beatable, and usually easily beaten.
There are many red rank nurses that can 3k or 4k a good amount of the time and you don't really need to even be that amazing since it's not like you're playing against god SWFs most games. That's problem with basing a tier list off comp play because it doesn't reflect the live game that is made up mostly of duos and soloQ.

So...according to you, Nurse should be F tier, right? If we aren't just reflecting the top 0.1% of the playerbase?
Yes because only 0.1% of the player base can play nurse well you got me.

Nobody it's awful but if you are gonna use it try it with lethal pursuer it'd be interesting to see just how separated they start out.
-
Wraith enjoys suffering in the sense of he believes in punishing people he perceives as evil whether it's Nigerian death squads or Russian mobsters he's kind of akin to being the punisher of the dbd universe.
Yun-Jin is too selfish to be like Wraith her sense of drive comes from wanting to be successful and attain status which killing is almost antithetical to that because nobody is inviting a murderer to a social event. She is absolutely a terrible person it's just the ways she's terrible are almost more likely to keep her away from murdering than not. She would put people in harms way but she just isn't the type to pull the trigger herself as she has no motive to do so. She probably wants revenge on trickster in the the realm and then after that's done get the hell out so she can attempt to somehow salvage her career as I don't think she'd resign herself to be a killer in the entities service because she'd see it as beneath her as someone who wants to flourish among the elites in higher society.
-
No Yun-Jin isn't actively malicious or the type to lash out at a society they think wronged them instead she's decided she's going to play by the the rules of the world but flip them and use that against them. She's the most selfish character in the dbd universe and that's why the entity chose her because she is more of a survivalist than even jake and breaking someone so incredibly resilient and proud would provide good food for the entity and because she's so selfish that even if she does make through the trial anyone trying to survive with her is pretty unlikely to make it out so the entity wins either way.
That being said this is different than being a killer and there's a reason when yun-jin figured trickster out she didn't help him cover it up nor try to stop him it's because she probably has some warped sense of morality where she doesn't actively want people to suffer she just puts herself before everyone else. You could call her apathetic to the suffering of others sure but she doesn't like suffering which is something all the other killers have in common.
-
I'm waiting for the moment they get rid of the luck mechanic like they said they would over a year ago and make up the ante actually do something.
But yeah I feel like half the perks in this game need help and I wouldn't mind if more perks got the lucky break treatment so maybe the meta wouldn't be so stale.
-
That ghostface is a sussy baka.
-
yes tier lists that reflect 0.1% of the player base are very useful.
-
If you think trying to survive while 3 potatoes trip over themselves and probably get you killed is relaxing kinda wonder what your definition for relaxing is.
-
Imagine thinking 1 game is a reasonable sample size to determine a player's skill in a game with so many RNG elements.

The community isn't "destroying this game."
Any problems you perceive with DBD are BHVR's problem to deal with.
The community is only a problem because BHVR allows it to be that way. If you want something to change, it needs to start at the top.
Yeah no BHVR isn't responsible for players acting like children. For balance, content, and making sure the game doesn't explode every time you play it sure 100% their job.
But if a player disconnects every time something they don't like happens or intentionally tries to make people miserable that's not BHVR's fault that's the community being awful.
BHVR screws up their side of things pretty much on a daily basis I won't argue otherwise but so does the community and the lack of personal responsibility from the community on that aspect makes it all the more childish.
We love to complain but we refuse to acknowledge that some of the bad experiences with this game are of our own making.
-
Physically it's oni, I know it's regular gameplay but for some reason when I pallet stun him and he goes into demon mode in response and charges at me it's a very "I regret my recent choices" moment.
Mentally mirror myers on an indoor map is agonizing even when nothing is happening around me because it could change any second and it's always a high anxiety game when that happens.
-
BHVR plz give me the ability to suplex survivors.
-
I think it's extremely slept on, killers won't even bother chasing you a lot of the time while it's up so with a decent medkit and being a half decent looper you can go most games without being hooked. This is without iron I personally think that's overkill to put them together and between the two I find lucky break more noticeable.
-
I kinda get that for killer but so many red rank survivors still play like potatoes that I kinda feel like rank is meaningless and it's not a massive deal that it decays.
It's partly the game's fault because you get rewarded for things like doing dull totems, farming with BT and strictly playing for hatch that you can play relatively poorly most games and still make red ranks.
-
To play as:
To Play Against:
-
Not as strong but infinitely more interesting I wish they hadn't given up on the original concept so easily. All we're left with now is a blood puddle borefest that plays every loop the same way except when you try your hardest to stay awake then he's just man with claw.
-
Because that defeats the purpose of prestige which is to have an optional time waster that makes you start over again which is how it works with every game with prestige.
