  • I'll wait and see what's in the midchapter ptb but I really don't like the sound of this.

If they take one of the highest skill ceiling killer abilities and replace it with AI controlled RNG nonsense that would be pretty upsetting.

  • Taking the opportunity to p3 hag, plague, and twins and get the last few perks on zarina I wanted.

  • Overrated: Doctor, the rework was nice but it didn't do nearly as much as people think. His tracking is his best thing about him and even that can be countered by lockers just have to keep an ear out.

Underrated: Plague, I see people put them in the lower tiers when their snowball is absolutely insane and they also counter all healing perks and more importantly iron will. Absolutely destroys disorganized teams that don't agree on a cleansing strategy.

Rated Right: Executioner, I think everyone agrees they're very good.

  • Just the usual bad teammates (seriously who camps hatch and lets two people die when the gens are already ######### done) and some occasional farmers as survivor.

Killer has been sweaty but that's not unique to the event.

  • For trickster let people bank main event I don't understand why it's on a timer.

For legion idfk how you make running slightly faster and not being able to down with you power interesting.

  • Not sure if that would work it might be creating too many new assets for something with questionable effectiveness and not everyone would use but along the same vein I do think crows are an underutilized resource for new perks so I'd like them to try and bring them into the game a bit more so maybe one day we could have birb builds.

  • If I was capcom I would do a scrooge mcduck style dive into all the money monster hunter and resident evil is currently making me.

  • This thread is the epitome of "...and I took that personally".

  • Ash and Steve cuz they're usually memelords.

Jeff because they're usually pretty nice.

  • I know it couldn't work with gens and healing being a thing but I'd love a playable dog character just because watching victor chase a dog around would be ######### hilarious and I do feel like animal companion is a horror trope not touched on yet.

  • I love hag to death I just don't find playing her very challenging so she's left on the back burner a lot of the time.

  • Understanding a specific killer's counterplay does not necessarily mean employing that counterplay is an enjoyable experience.

At the moment plague. I tried demogorgon for a while but not a fan of playing him.

Plague is rough at first for sure but really underrated IMO. Best tips I can give without seeing any gameplay is don't try to fully infect people at the start unless they're deadzoned just get a drop of vomit on them at the start and move on to the next person so you can get people cleansing as fast as possible and actually get to your real power also once people do cleanse be liberal with your power usage rather than trying to save up a bunch of pools.

Depending how deep you wanna dig into plague and getting good with them I'd recommend looking up pixel bush entertainment's plague guide on youtube, it's quite long (45 minutes) but there's good stuff there and more detailed than anything I could explain on here.

  • There's no good reason for it they're just power tripping the why of it isn't really worth speculating on. We've all been there though you just have to hold those Ls while you're learning and it sucks but if you stick with it they'll not be in a situation to do that once you get to a certain point (mostly sometimes games just go bad even if you know what you're doing).

Can I ask if there's a killer you gravitate towards atm?

  • Try lucky break a lot of killers will consider you not worth the trouble of chasing and let you go or just straight up lose you if you can break line of sight while it's up. Sprint burst is a similar idea where if you get enough distance before the killer gets to you it ends the chase before it even starts and they'll try to go for someone easier. Windows of opportunity if you need help learning pathing during chase and how loops can connect to each other. Alert and spine chill help you avoid dealing with the killer all together although I'd advise learning how to loop as opposed to stealthing since you'd make your team's lives easier by learning how to loop and waste the killer's time.

DS like you mentioned helps too if after all that the killer is still dead set on tunneling they're probably gonna lose if your team is being efficient and doing gens like they should be so I guess take solace you did your best to help your team win and go next. Don't worry about "winning" for the time being and teach yourself the skills for being a better looper and you'll save yourself stress in the long run.

  • I wish killers tunneled more since maybe I'd get to use DS more than twice every 20 games and not feel like I'm wasting the perk slot. =/

I don't think actual tunneling is all that common I only see the same person get hooked 3 times in a row maybe once a day during a 5-6 hour session but maybe I've been lucky.

  • Otz for the competitive side of things and Pixel Bush for his lore videos.

  • Just give trapper 4-5 traps to start and maybe an add-on or two to increase the number by 1-2. The fact Trapper starts with nearly no power and has to walk around the map and pick his power up and then take time setting it up when it can easily be disarmed in the year 2021 is a travesty.

  • Wraith since bloodhound and predator are terrible and shadowborn is a comfort perk that takes up a slot that should probably be going to something else more impactful.

  • It basically comes down to chases are the only thing a lot of survivor players find fun and the entire point of wraith is to ambush and get a hit before the chase even starts negating the need for chasing in the first place so a lot of survivors find him boring to play against. On Wraith's side of things they have a power that does nothing for them in chases unless you count occasionally being able to block pallets and windows in cloaked form so chasing is generally pretty miserable for them. Wraith overall is pretty average probably in the B tier somewhere it's just the way he's designed makes it so that one side is kinda guaranteed to not have fun.
