I mean they nerfed BU which means no more FTP plays. They have to give alternatives to doing gens. Sometimes I think they should buff flashlights so SoloQ could have something. Sabo'ing seems needs coordination the same way FTP/BU did.
-
I'm sure WoO will be nerfed. They nerfed Adrenaline and that's only 20% usage. Buckle up probably had 4% usage and that got nerfed
-
I mean didn't Hillbilly get a some 10% increase in killrate putting him closer to the desired 60/40.
Pig got a more useful dash.
Huntress, Trickster and Deathslinger all had their basekits imrpoved.
-
As long as the game is balanced around kill rate there is no reason to get better. It's like why bother playing Singularity when you can achieve the same results with Wraith.

Toolboxes have needed a complete pass for a while. Addon/perk stacking, especially on commodious, is way too much.
It’s completely reasonable to ask for BHVR to look at toolbox repair value, if they were already in the process of evaluating them all for sabo value.
And this is how they balanced it. Instead of downright nerfing it they gave it another function.
-
Sabo'ing is pointless unless two survivors use a hook offering.

Are the toolboxes themselves getting looked into, like medkits were looked into?
For example, the value difference of a regular toolbox, and a commodious toolbox is way too high, especially when survivors are stacking additional things on top of it like Built To Last. There is also an issue where toolboxes giving increased skill check chances, gives too much value to perks like Hyperfocus, especially when it’s used on a toolbox with lots of charges, like the commodious toolbox.
In order words, if toolboxes are going to be buffed to be more sabo oriented, then it’s ok for them to get nerfs at repair speed stacking, right?
That puts the decision on the player whether they want to use the toolbox for sabo'ing or repairing since they can't do both unless they devote time into Built to Last. Currently only Alex's Toolbox was the choice for sabo and Commodius was for repair. Now it looks like the reliance for Alex's won't be so strong since it's a purple toolbox. Also since add-ons are getting buffed they also have to decide which addons to gear for.

Felix, Yun-Jin and Gabriel.

Map is too small. It's so easy to find totems…probably the only good thing about the rework depending on which side you're on.
-
After doing this searching for hatch on Swamp I've learned it's better to just let the survivor go and split ground.
-
If this is what you're referring to check the shop during December.
-
Not sure if you care about pips or grades but can't get to Iri 1 if you're not spreading hooks.
-
Not only is it lagging but I've been getting dedicated server disconnects today and eating up disconnect penalties because strangely those have been counting. One server disconnect actually froze the game for a good 40 seconds…wasn't sure if I needed to CTRL+Alt+Delete.
-
I use anonymous because I've noticed I get less end game rage than I do without.

Excuse me... wat? How? Isn't it like, a top tier perk?
Unless I'm completing misreading what OP is asking I thought they meant what she be buffed on killer side to be compensated for DS buff. My answer was that Pop was brought back to being usable despite being nerfed at 6.1 like DS was.
-
You're just gonna have more people throwing and not playing the match seriously.
-
I would think the buff to Pop would be the equivalent since Pop also got nuked at 6.1.
-
I've noticed this is happening much more frequently. I don't know the rate but it's something I've noticed.
-
I've noticed too much teaming with the killer or survivors who will rat others out like what the Zarina did to Otz.
-
Next month. After the 3 weeks of "Before the Masquerade." So after June 4 likely.
-
Gonna guess it's because survivors who brought a map offering got tunneled so it's to reduce tunneling based off offering.
-
The thing is people will cry "but M1 killers" and the devs are hearing that out. Meanwhile anything "but SoloQ" falls on deaf ears.
-
DS is an anti-tunnel perk and it punishes killers who don't have the intent to tunnel. You're going out of your way to bait the killer and make them feel bad.
-
There's still a delay from being able to fire.
-
SoloQ = bad and easy games
SWF = good and challenging, must get rid of
-
I reckon they would have to re-record the sounds with the volume adjusted and for some survivors I don't think that is possible without hiring a new voice actor. Probably the difference between recording in house and having Monster Factory doing the audio.
-
Survivors will get better at looping and then killers will complain about maps and then the devs will nerf. No matter what survivors do they lose.
It's like this weird thing where the onus is on survivor to be good but that's not what people really want because who wants to be challenged by good survivors. The devs don't even embrace this because if survivors get too good and escape rates get too high then nerfs to balance out the kill rate.

That hardly answers my question. It's just more wind. I have seen a blatant cheater twice in my time in this game and I couldn't care less what professional video game men do.
The two bullet points were together. If the newly buffed DS gets taken away again then killers tunnel easier then ever is what they were saying. Whether that's true or not can't be answered.
-
Ok maybe it's just me but it took me a moment to figure out I had to click on the currency to buy Auric Cells. Somethings about it didn't seem intuitive to me.
Also, when looking at what's available for a character, I would prefer to see entire sets instead of being tabbed into a piece.
-
Out of the 4 OGs, seems like they favor Dwight and Meg.
-
If SoloQ wasn't a hot mess every match would feel like a SWF and the people playing killer wouldn't become so complacent to the easy games SoloQ gives.
-
It's not just the tile but something about the area around it. I played against a Trapper on that map and couldn't disarm from the ascending side. There was another pallet by the library that I couldn't disarm on one side either.
-
Maybe I'm underestimating casuals but I don't think people such as OP know what "facecamping" means. Same way I don't think would know what a "hug tech" is or a CJ. I don't think the devs properly educated what facecamping is and what the mechanic does and that's probably why people expect this mechanic will stop all camping.
-
Last week I had teammates raging at me for doing too much gens and not doing things like going for unhooks and healing. It was very comical considering the complaint is usually people aren't on gens enough.
-
After today I'm convinced MMR is meaningless and you'll literally get thrown together with anyone in queue.
-
What skin are you referring to? If you're talking about the new Were-elk skin it's considered Visceral rarity which would put it at the same price as Trapper's Naughty Bear skin.
-
Yes it's new. It was teased yesterday.
Haven't seen it yet. Yamaoka is a realm I don't willingly play on.
-
Because if you had knowledge you would leave?
You could do the same and play Knight or SM on an indoor map or Hillbilly on Azarov.
-
Considering it's part of the "Slice of Life" collection, it'll probably be a Twitch drop or given away in some other form I assume. Or the next Rift track since those are mostly "Slice of Life."
-
I'll take anything but Huntress and Wraith. Unknown is getting there.
-
I started right around All-Kill's midchapter. I think that little window from All Kill to Hour of the Witch was good times for me.
-
Would you prefer survivors slamming gens or wasting time going for FTP or Background Player plays?
-
There was a time I was Spirit and had a Meg standing on hatch waiting for me. The Meg was foolish enough to try to mindgame my phasing and I slammed the hatch on her. She disconnected.
-
Nothing on Haddonfield? Wasn't it something that had something bad for both sides to something bad completely for one side?
-
Reading these comments it's no wonder DBD is in the state it's in.
And this is also why survivors can't have things like knowing your team's build before the match.
-
My suggestion was more about challenges than the actual Rift. Like an expansion on the daily rituals to elaborate.
-
I never said anything about cosmetics said I don't know where that is coming from.

No offense dude but that just sounds like you don't like the gameplay but just the feeling of completing something/doing work... Otherwise give yourself some challenges... For example Pebble recoil challenge.
@Hermit said:
Some people still remember the times, when games were played just for playing the game. Not for some battle passes, events or FOMO cosmetics… oh dear, I'm old.
Just a suggestion. Alright?
-
This does not sound like a good idea. It sounds like it gives killers too much control over a situation with very little a survivor can do It's not like survivors would have the power to mindgame back. It would also lower the usefulness of several perks and addons.

@dwight444 said:
yes, despite this ppl will make threads as if:
- they face it every game
- it's successfully pulled off in every game that they face it in
most of the time it's nothing more than 2 wasted perk slots
Very much this. I'm a SoloQ player and try to make FTP/BU plays. I think I'd be better off just changing my build.
