All the killers giving you counterplay advice but when it comes to survivor things—no counterplay!
-
Bad teammates will be bad teammates no matter what the loadout.
Take it as you will but I've been told multiple times I'm the rattiest survivor they killer has dealt with and I don't even use Distortion.
-
They need to delete Milky Glass and Weaved Keyring or rework them. I hate seeing them in the bloodweb. And I especially hate unavoidably forced to get them.
-
Doubtful if it'll get use on its own. Seems like you'd need to dedicate a whole build for it to be strong.
-
I think the devs had said in the past that they wanted killer instinct exclusive to their power.
-
So you get locked in a blood wipe animation and they still get away?
-
I mean they could apply the same logic they've applied to Buckle Up/For The People or else it's just hypocrisy if they don't.

The main reason why SoloQ is in that state is because of survivors themselves. Not matchmaking, not balancing, not how killers play, just themselves.
Average survivors with low game sense (specially not making the right decision at the right time) and not playing as a team (including bringing perks that only benefit them and not even help progressing the true objective, that is doing gens) is what make most SoloQ games a true hell to play. Then, instead of trying to get and do better, they complain about the "40% average escape rate" and how the game is killer sided without understanding what an average means or that they are most likely in the lower half of it.
Coincidentally, Hens just uploaded a video today about the topic:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Je3AQGuG2C8&ab_channel=Hens
Who would have thought that if you are good at the game, have good game sense, and try to play as a team (which is the main strength of survivors, being 4 vs 1) would make you and your team mates win more games even in SoloQ?
Maybe it's a jaded outlook but you can have all the game sense in the world and act as a team but it's not desirable. Look at what happened with 6.1. Escape rates were too high. If survivors are getting too good it just leads to nerfs to satisfy the whole "killers are supposed to be scary" idea.
-
Dying because of the exit gates being not open is extremely rare and even if the gates were open it sounds close enough you still probably would have been caught.
It doesn't sound like your team may have knew you were running at the gates to save you. Uncoordinated SoloQ issue.
-
You're halfway to learning the definition of asymmetrical.
-
Jump in a locker and activate the event power to cause all lockers to erupt with confetti, blinding a nearby killer's screen with confetti for 4 seconds.
-
It's not like good players are incentivized as no one wants to be facing good opponents and it leads to nerfs anyway.

Felix got robbed the last tome. He didn't get any charms related to him or anything besides the themed outfit. Plus his outfit is a lot of the same that he already has…akin to his green and brown rarities outfits. I don't even think he had any challenges either.
I hope he gets a proper tome with an outfit that isn't what he traditionally gets (no sportscoat/dress shoes please).
-
I know the anniversary lobbies don't have matchmaking but I had someone yesterday who was obviously inexperienced. Didn't have any sort of awareness on direction I'm approaching and was running at me, didn't seem to have any clue on pathing and seemed to struggle looking behind and not running into what is in front. I felt like it was unfair so I two hooked and let everyone go.
-
Wouldn't be a party game without all these gimmicks.
-
Tons of pallets but easy to 3-gen.

this is the exact mindset why solo q is so trash
That's my point. Just being more elaborate than "SoloQ is trash."
-
Also not sure how recharging tokens during chase will solve the so-called issue for the other 3 survivors. If I have Lethal and see someone has Distortion I have the choice to not engage with that survivor. It's giving the killer control of the perk.
-
If you get those event totems I think they are some 3500 BP if I recall correctly. If you get all 5 that's 17K right there on top of whatever objective points you're getting.
-
I have over 1400 Terrormisu on Felix and over 1000 of the Y6 cakes on Dredge. I want to invest in Gabriel but likely going to be Felix again.
-
How is it when there are complaints of killer things it's dismissed and offer solutions to counterplay but yet when killers complain about survivor things it's sudden "no counterplay!"
-
No. A smart killer will figure out that a survivor has Distortion after suddenly their aura is revealed and choose not to chase that survivor. That way when they need to find the survivor (slugging for the 4K) they know that survivor can't hide their aura. It's still going to be bad for the other survivors.
-
The thing is through the rework of maps and killer powers chase time has been shorter. Does a killer really need slowdown if they can end a chase faster than the slowdown provides.
-
Isn't overhealing how survivors lose? Especially when it's done under the hook.
-
MMR is not real. Just because you think you are high MMR does not mean the other 4 players are.
-
You're complaining about memey SWFs but you have another post about how "bully squads" should be punished.
What kind of interactions do you want?
-
So it's now Thursday afternoon and still nothing so I emailed support.
-
You're not invincible during the animation. I've gotten hit while teleporting. It's like your hitbox is still there until you appear on the other side of the portal.

I didn't get one either, could you share the tweet please?
Looks like through tomorrow if any hope.
-
I found an answer in a tweet.
-
It's amazing how I can work on one of the middle gens and know at all times whereabouts the killer is. Must be rough being a Myers or Ghost Face on this map and having difficulties sneaking up on survivors.

The difference is Autodidact actually does something.
Truth.

Are map offerings really affecting your matches or your mindset considering kill rate is right around where the devs want.
-
You're probably seeing offerings right now because all I'm seeing is gas station and hating it.
-
Better than the ones I get who bring the killer to me midchase and give the killer a hook state for free. It's like is there any reason why you're pathing the killer this way?
-
I can loop just as mindlessly, "autopilot" from tile and pre-drop just the same without the perk and you'd never know until results screen. I think WoO has truly one of those scapegoat excuses for having a bad game.
-
First match was Left Behind, Dark Theory, Self Care and Fogwise. Not bad.
-
That's what you agreed to when you redeemed the code?
-
I like using it as a trail for my whereabouts although that trail can be read in either direction…
-
Mori's are going to lose their charm so fast. The novelty of mori's are to see them once in a while.
-
I always thought it'd be cool to have Dredge in one of Jenova's or Hojo's forms or Yui as Lightning. Even Kate as Terra would be pretty cute.
Also the mascots like Chocobos, Tonberries, Cactuars and the like.
-
I liked Discordance while Prove was still a thing. I liked using it on Artist.
-
Finally got one. Had to log out and log back in and it worked.
-
Sometimes I'd wonder if something like Hag was released in today's age.
-
It's there. It's just outlined in black instead.
-
I got even further….linked my steam account and all and still no code.
-
I thought the "re-sweat" happens days before the reset. Or at least what it feels like to me.
-
I had 1.7 mil yesterday.
Rank Reset happens and I'm only at the cap….should have been at 2.9mil with the reset reward.
-
If I see on the HUD there is a chase still going I will. If there is no chase I can assume the killer is coming back to hook and I'll start running.
Optimally you really shouldn't be healing under hook unless that person is on death hook or in your case We'll Make It. Always take them away so the killer has to search a little if they do have a habit of coming back to hook.
