Maybe EMPs could use another slight nerf, but I think people just need to practice more. He's like Nurse in that it takes a good amount of games to get good. I've watched several people play him on Twitch and they seem to have decent success overall.
-
Okay, so I just watched Otz's video on this, and yeah the For The People + Buckle Up combo is stupid unfair in a SWF. Definitely remove that interaction.

As a solo player, I don't find it's worth using perks that rely on the Killer slugging, because if they don't, then my perks are wasted. I could see it being decent in a SWF though.
-
PC has better performance, more FPS. And mouse & keyboard is simply more versatile than a controller. Being able to quickly flick your camera with Nurse or Singularity makes a big difference.
-
The way I see it, we traded COH, DH, and medkits in exchange for killing the gen-kick meta. Seems fair to me. I’m beyond happy that the Eruption days are over.
-
MFT doesn't work when exhausted. So maybe try using exhaustion perks. Several of the Killers you mentioned have exhaustion add-ons as well. Adapt to the meta.
-
I remember making a post about this when they added new offerings along with Felix. I came to realize the clutter is intentional. It artificially extends the grind to keep you playing to get the good stuff. So I don't expect any changes will be made, unfortunately.
-
I dislike it because it has one of the best 3-gens in the game. Pray you don't get a Skull Merchant on Dead Dawg.
-
Best change in a long time. Facecampers malding rn.
-
Yeah I don't get it. He's the consensus #2 Killer in the game, yet he goes unscathed for over 2 years now. Must be nice.

DBD is a hard game. End of story.
Eh idk about that. Sure, it takes a lot of hours to "get good," but if we compare to actual competitive games like LoL or any shooter, DBD is laughably easy by comparison imo.
-
I'm surprised there is no reward tbh. Like, what is my motivation to go above P9? Currently, having a high prestige just makes you more likely to be dodged/targeted. A simple cosmetic would be appreciated.
-
DBD is at its best when its chaotic. When everyone is playing serious and using the meta, the game loses what makes it special. But that's just my opinion.
-
Lethal Pursuer, Iron Maiden, Darkness Revealed, and BBQ. Could also use Deadlock if you want gen slowdown.
-
For reference, Xbox bought Arkane and then they released Redfall lol. Market consolidation is generally bad for the consumer.
-
There's been like a dozen posts complaining about him in the past couple days. So, no.
-
Just remove the Attempt Escape option unless you have Deliverance or Slippery Meat. Boom, fixed.
-
My issue with Wesker is his tunneling ability. Unless teammates bodyblock for you, the 8% slowdown will get you caught easily. It doesn't matter how skilled you are when you're running at 92% speed.
-
Just look at Fortnite, Fall Guys, etc. Plenty of DLC that you can't buy anymore. Is what it is.
-
I'd be fine with removing the endurance after healing. The +3% is good enough on its own.
-
Sometimes I wish Twitch and YouTube didn't exist so players would experiment for themselves. These days, people just copy whatever build they see online. And this applies to all multiplayer games. Like in Call of Duty, everyone is using the same couple of guns because their fav content creator told them it's the best. Few people use their imagination anymore. :/
-
With absolutely no gen defence left
That's just not true.
-
It's ok. I would rather just bring a medkit though. Also consider that we're in a tunneling meta. If you get tunneled, then those perks don't do anything for you.
-
Maybe they are unaware certain maps are boosted. Not everyone follows DBD Twitter or browses the forums.
-
I only use Stake Out occasionally if I feel like running a Hyperfocus build. I almost never get slugged, so Tenacity isn't useful. And Detective's Hunch is just ok. Hex perks are not nearly as common as they used to be so.. yeah.
I do play as Tapp though, just because I like Danny Glover.
-
I'm in the same boat. I legit sat here for 10 minutes trying to come up with a reply lol. Maybe you could try setting challenges for yourself, like trying to get Mettle of Man to proc or something. If you usually play solo, maybe try finding a squad to play with. That's all I got tbh.
-
Twins might as well not exist, and I'm okay with that lol.
-
Tunnelling your first hook out of the game is absolutely necessary
Have you considered that gens are flying because you tunnel? By targeting 1 person, you allow the other 3 to do gens unimpeded.
That said, I do think toolboxes could use another nerf.
-
What's stopping you from bringing a medkit? You can get up to 2 self heals per match. At 8k hours, you should have more than enough to use every game if you want.
-
It's just too small. Plus the centralized basement makes for easy camping.

Please don't forget Nintendo Switch! There are still dedicated Nintendo Switch DbD players!
I'm still amazed people play DBD on Switch. I mean I sometimes have performance issues with the game on PC, so I can't even imagine how it must struggle on an underpowered console like the Switch. What's the FPS like? Maybe 20-30?
-
They really need to incentivize spreading damage. Maybe like a Dying Light effect where actions become slower with each hook, or some sort of bonus for not targeting 1 player. People tunnel because there's no incentive not to. Needs to be addressed ASAP.
-
I'm still annoyed that we have 5 versions of Badham. None of them are different enough to warrant their existence.
-
Quitting is like a part of DBD culture at this point.
-
I usually take a couple weeks off at a time after binge playing for a couple days. But I've seen people say they take like a year off because DBD tends to be rather slow with core gameplay changes.
-
All they need to do is buff Ruin back to 200%. They really went overboard with the last nerf.
-
I'm pretty sure they disabled the login rewards. There was a bug where some people got the entire rift completed for free.
-
Git gud.

The issues in this game all revolve around how bad matchmaking is. Otz was talking yesterday about how as killer you can just dodge lobbies you don't like and never actually have to play a hard game. You will always get weak survivors if you dodge enough lobbies due to how terrible the matchmaking is. Lobby dodging leading to 4000 hour killers being matched with brand new survivors should not be a thing. They need to do more to make sure lower skill survivors are blocked off from being matched with sweaty killers.
I am once again suggesting that BHVR immediately start a match when 5 players are found. Then the ability to lobby dodge is removed entirely, and then the matchmaking system can function properly.
-
Ignore the Steam reviews. They got review-bombed just before the healing nerfs went live.
But yes, tunneling needs to be addressed ASAP.
-
Balance changes are not constrained by license agreements. I remember someone asked the same question about Demo, and a BHVR rep said they are free to make power changes if they choose to do so. So either they think Myers is fine or just haven’t gotten around to adjusting him.

Botany + Self Care is good option too. You are using 2 perk slots, true but you can heal whenever you want and anywhere you want. In current meta, this combo is actually very useful.
I just don't think it's worth it. After the healing nerf, it takes 30.5 seconds to heal with that combo. That on top of 2 perks slots is too heavy a cost when medkits exist.
-
I won't run it anymore as a solo. Sure, my teammates can see my aura, but I'm not gonna sit there and wait for someone to run over to me. Might as well bring a medkit instead.

Yea if there's a DBD2 then it might get better
Sure, I could see it working in a sequel. But then I'm not sure a sequel could ever happen because of licensing.
Anyway, I would definitely like to see alternative game modes. Standard DBD is certainly beyond stale. I would take any other game mode they'd give us.
-
I think DBD is at its limit with 5 players in a lobby. I mean, connection issues happen as it is. I can't imagine them doubling the player count.
-
The playerbase itself. Seems like most people just queue up to make others miserable. Solo queueing is legit unbearable these days.
-
Anyone remember when they showed rank and character level in lobby? Then they removed it presumably to reduce dodging. Then they added Prestige lol.
-
There's no denying that indoor maps tend to have the best aesthetic. But oh man do I hate playing on them lol. I don't enjoy playing on RPD, Midwich, Lery's, or The Game as Survivor or Killer. Even Hawkins had abysmal map design, even if it did have the best aesthetic design to date.
