a friend of mine told me that fixated shows you your scratch marks the way the killer sees them. so for example when the legion activates his ability. your scratch marks will disappear. same goes to perks like predator and lightweight
(however i'm not sure about it and i'll test it in a kyf lobby later)
Ok cool tell me how it goes please

Many survivors items need balanced like insta heals and keys and super gen tool box's before or at the same time ebony's get nerfed

Nope.
3 second stun is quite a big deal distance wise.
On exhaustion perks the killer is still going after you, but when you stun him, he can't move.
So while you go further with an exhaustion perk, you gain more distance from the killer with head on
Not completely true depending on the situation, certain things like balanced you put a window between you and the killer and make massive distance. Plus you could miss head on a give the killer a free hit

Technically, besides decisive, it's the perk that gives you the most distance on a killer.
I think
Any other exhaustion perk other than Dead Hard*

Nahhh. I've been a quick and quiet main since before head on came out. I can land more Head On than you would think lol.
Yea head on can be a bummer but 3 seconds isn't a lot in the long run
-
@LegitAdventurer said:
My question involves the perk Head On.
Is this perk considered toxic? It seems like killers get really pissed when I land alot of Head On. Which, I generally get an average of 4 Head On per game, some games I get alot more, some games I don't get any. Some killers tend to play sweatier(tunelling,camping,slapping the body) after I start to land a Head On or two, you know it seems like they really don't like it.
I've had some games where I end up landing 6+ sometimes. You can imagine how badly killers want to DC (assuming they don't actually dc)
Just curious everyones opinion on the perk.
Not toxic it just becomes really expected after the first stun so don't expect to get it off many times unless you got a squad running it
-
Nice
-
Your opinion, not fact. because she isn't loop-able doesn't mean you can't beat her...

Passive: A map wide teleport to any disturbed crows across the map would be a neat teleport (give it a 30 second cooldown, affected by add ons) the teleport is made up of a visual effect which shows a murder of crows converging and flying away to reveal the scarecrow left behind.
Power: Murder Harvest - can charge a sweeping attack (secondary attack) which can hit multiple targets in close proximity. The Scarecrow wields a Rusty Scyche.
Does sound really cool honestly

According to the road map Chapter 14 will not have a map so I asked myself hmm...What map could easily be home to a possible killer?
I suddenly had an euphoric Brainfart and thought What about cold wind farm. Cold wind is known for being a really annoying map as killer so what if they made a killer which could use his 'home' to his advantage to blend in and have more fun on such a frustrating map.
My Prediction is The Scarecrow. It literally is cold wind made through and through. It wouldn't need a map.
The scarecrow being an original of course.
I know some of you will be yapping on at how it's way too early to speculate but...what's the harm in a little guessing and maybe sharing ideas and suggestions which could still be used as guidance to help the Devs if we happen to be on the same lines.
Anyone got any ideas how a Scarecrow killer would work. Could they focus heavily on utilizing crows?
Not to kill your prediction but billy was basically released with the thompson house witch is coldwind farm
-
Just chase them

Finding loops

loops that don't allow me 100% visual of the killer

I am extremely bad when the killer mindgames at pallets. I can't see them and don't know what to do!
(if anyone has any tutorials on this pls help me)
I think everyone struggles with those tbf and I think that is the idea of those loops
-
They are planing on ranking killers based on how well each killer ( single killers ). So that sounds better but Idk what they are doing with surivivors
-
I always thought you were telling the truth since I myself have hit rank one with leather face, its just hard
-

I do think it's important to make the distinction. Infinite means forever, as in the killer can never catch the survivor no matter what they do. That's a big problem, and for what it's worth, they shouldn't exist anymore. A strong loop is a different story.
Myers house with balanced

I still remember how he said that hag is worse than leatherface.
Atleast hag's addons are actually working unlike leatherfaces's addons.
Yea that made me laugh a bit

The problem is that that potential is 6/7% at rank one
There is a reason those killers are rank one after all
-
I wish they would just show percentages
-
@Leonardo1ita said:
Right at the end he said: "because they have that potential to do flashlight saves"...when this actually doesn't work against rank one killers, especially if they see you trolling around with the flashlight and not getting any gen done.
Btw good killers always look at a wall.
And, to conclude, this is why you still see a lot of survivors using them. Because they still think they're useful, when they could bring in the match red syringes or medkits that heal you 3 times and really fast.
First off don't take his opinions to your preference, But flash lights have the potential to undo all the work a killer just did, or prevent a big snowball from happening. flash lights are easily top tier items and I'd agree they belong in A rank

We all know that Demogorgon is gonna be nerfed upon its release. They did it with Plauge and the Ghostface, so why not Demogorgon? There's alot of talk between whether Demogorgon is Overpowered, underpowered, or it's in a good spot for both downsides and rewards for good play.
The Demogorgon is being made to where its supposed to disrupt the current meta, not being OP, and this is why.
[tedtalk music plays]
The Demogorgon's portals, if placed in good spots, can remove the need for the perk, "Barbecue and Chili", and possibly, "Whispers". The perk "Whispers" is a reliable perk to count on whenever its the beginning of the game, and both the killer and survivors are trying to get the game going. Now, Portals aren't the best for the beginning of the game as they don't start placed out for you, so "Whispers" is still reliable to use, but if portals are placed near generators and your too far away to be in Whispers range, you can see if the survivors are near that generator. Now, it doesn't completely remove the need for "Whispers", it just mildly lessens it's ability to track upon long distances.
"Barbecue and Chili", however, is currently the best tracking perk in the game for killers as it allows the killer to practically see every survivor in the game that's farther than 40 meters from the hooked survivor for 4 seconds. Now, if the Demogorgon's Portals have not been destroyed, and they are placed near Generators, they can instantly give away their position to the killer, putting them in a terrible position. Now, I'm not saying that "Barbecue and Chili" and "Whispers" are worthless to killers now, I'm just giving you the more risky, and a bit less effective alternatives to hopefully save a perk alot for you so you can get more use out of other perks instead of the same, regular build you've been using for 4 weeks or longer.
These are mainly suggestions and do not obstruct your ability to play the game. I don't make the meta, only the community does.
But in all honesty, we need a buff to the perk, "MindBreaker".
To bad his shred is getting nerfed as if he isn't a mediocre enough killer lol
-
Honestly Pallet freddy isn't to strong imo his snares are where its at

I'm with you man, new player also as of 6 days ago. This is one of those rare games for me where I still have fun even when I lose. So far coming to these forums has been pretty depressing because all I see is people complaining about every little thing and calling the game toxic.
Don't let stuff like this discourage you, Everyone has their likes and dislikes. even though this game is aggravating its still one of my favorite games and was worth the money I put into it.

@PrincessPoop said:
I find playing killer to actually be much more engaging than playing survivor.
I do to, but occasionally more aggrivating as well
-
@Akuma said:
i dont.
the only issue are the maps, or let us say, the main and biggest issue. And yea some killer will always be hard to play. but first you're not supposed to always 4k and second more and more killer become A tier (huntress, billy, freddy, demogorgon, hag) and at least there are to killers who can 4k every game (s tier, spirit and nurse)
and if you arent able to put some pressure to the survivors then yea it's YOUR fault, not the game's and maybe you should watch good players or tutorials on youtube to learn some tricks and strategies to do so. and still you can get pooped on because sometimes you lose and thats good because the other side can also win.
And..i tell you a lil secret
sht dont tell anyone
(killer were able to 4k in 2k16, when gens took 40 seconds, pallets were everywhere, pallet vaccum was a thing, no exhaustion, 20 sec cooldown sprint burst, true infinites/no entity blocker, no bloodlust, insta blinds, insta gens, permanent sabotage, 80%? selfcare, very slow killer actions and so on)
I make it to rank one consistently as killer, maps are the problem but as long as survivors play very cautiously gens will get done at a good pace
-
@humanbeing1704 said:
if you play killer to have fun then it's not a chore
its not fun when I down someone and they instantly get back up because insta heal

@GrootDude said:
I don’t find killer to be a chore.
Idk why but only recently I've started to get annoyed by the game. I guess I just see all the stupid flaws it has now that I've put time into the game. learning HillBilly is the only reason I still really play tbh

@OGOzSnowChimp said:
I'm only a new player and in the green ranks so I know my opinion carries very little weight but I find being a killer supremely fun regardless of the time the gens are done or the amount of people that escape.
Perhaps I am just an odd duck.
I do to, But I hate when I do good as a killer and still only end up with a single kill.

From devs:
"We cannot give dates on when these changes will happen, but we can share some information on which killers we are looking to update. We will be taking a look at the Nurse and her add-ons (primarily her add-ons) and the Doctor. We would also like to review the chainsaw killers, the Shape, and the Pig, and more. Some may receive smaller changes or add-on passes while other may see more significant changes."
Exciting I never saw that. thanks for telling me

A perk which only activates once per match and is a reward for survivvors playing well, because killer failed to kill off survivors. OK bud.
Has literal no downsides, if a survivor can cry about noed I can cry about Adrenawin

Still not an infinite. Really really annoying, but you don’t know an infinite until a Claudette runs Wretched Shop on you for 10 minutes after the others have left.
it is a literal infinite if you don't have any anti loop play killer
-
@Leonardo1ita said:
So, in previous threads I said how op they are and how quickly the should be removed.
Now I changed Idea, and I'll listen to all those who said they aren't a threat.
But let's discuss why "infinites" are not a problem, and mostly counterable, even if they need an address for some killers.
Trapper: place a trap in front of the window
Billy:Use the chainsaw to go faster, and bodyblock windows with your body
Nurse: no problem
Myers: tier 2 is 1,5 vault speed, while if you're having problems with infinites just get to tier 3
Hag: place a trap
Doctor: use one of the range add-ons
Huntress: ....just don't be a damn M1 Huntress
Freddy: Place snares to hinder them and force the medium vault
Clown: use the afterpiece tonics, maybe with the extra hindered add-on, to force the medium vault and make survivors run really slow
Spirit: phase, you're so fast
Plague: I think it's kinda fair to have a safe place to waste some time against her, due to the fact that you : 1 make survivors stay injured all the match, so you're kinda like Myers all the match 2 completely break their hiding chances since their vomit is so loud 3 make the gens go tremendously slower with thanatophobia. If you're having problems with infinites with her, just put bamboozle in this case. You basically have everything: map pressure and chase pressure.
For all the other killers: Wraith, Doctor( without shock range add-ons), Leatherface, pallet Freddy, Pig, Legion, Ghostface and Demogorgon, the problem must be addressed, cuz they are always 8 killers
@altruistic said:
There are no legitimate infinite’s in the game anymore.

I've never run a killer for five gens on Haddonfield before.
I've run countless killers on the Shop.
I've never been ran for five gens, period.
Your point?
you haven't been ran on haddon field by good survivors is my point

I don't think any map in Dbd is really "bad", sure certain maps favor killer or survivor, but they are all fun to play in their own rights, yes i do think haddonfield needs some love, but i would not consider it a bad map.
