I just wanted a trans flag charm. thats it. pls.

I am sure they will release all the flags as charms (and hopefully full outfits) each Pride going forward :)

If they don't then that would really be dropping the ball.

David and Ash are tied in my opinion.

With David, you both lose a health state and kind of get another health state, but pick people up faster.

With Ash, you're pretty much playing perkless for most of the game because his perks are all so situational and crap.

Yes! Poor Ash... for such an amazing character his perks are VERY bad. Flip Flop and Buckle need major buffs and MoM needs a rework.

  • I play both sides because playing one side for too long makes the game stale.

  • Trapper. Here is what I think I needs:

    1. Trapper bag base kit (adjust add ons accordingly)

    2. Prevent traps from spawning in dead zones.

    3. DH is not immune to bear trap.

    Bonus buff:

Upon a successful trap, that trap will automatically reset after 15 seconds. That way after you pick up the trapped person you don't need to go all the way back to reset that sprung trap. It would be interesting to have this instead of irr stone and rework irr stone into something else.

  • Whenever people struggle against a certain killer = the killer has no skill.

Most survivors are stuck on the one way they play and don't adjust to the killer they are facing (the truly unskilled).

Yesterday I went against a really good hag and was shocked that my teammates were playing more calming, crouching, and using flashlights to erase her marks... as a solo q I have never seen that and I have been playing since 2018. It was amazing and we had a really good match!

Most people say Hag is a no skill killer, but those are the people running around and being too bold.

All killers take skill to play decently... I mean, unless its a face camping Bubba ^^" That is for the laughs tho and not to be taken seriously.

DEVs said once that they don't want to add coms and I hope they never will. It just doesn't fit the game and here in Europe it's gonna be useless for many people anyway. And there's just no need for coms, there are other ways to fix soloQ.

Whether or not it fits the game is personal opinion. DBD is a team game, and a fun game. Having coms would not only help us solo people out in matches but it would just make the game more fun (for social peeps). On top of that coms doesn't break the game (swf).

The issue is the devs allowed swf. If they intended for the game to be a 4 solo with no communication they should have kept it that way. We now have a divided community and two different games. DBD solo and DBD swf.

And you are right, coms doesn't work for everyone. Language barrier, some don't like talking, and yes some will be toxic... but that is why you can choose to toggle it off or mute certain players.

There are a few things that could help fix solo q but coms is a big one. Being able to talk to my team, even if it just in the lobby, would be amazing!

They don't because it's a online "competitive" gameplay. There would be alot of kids screaming and saying ######### to each other, and it would just incentive bad behavior. People will just say bad things because someone did something wrong and they will start to yell at each other.

Why do you guys think league of legends don't enable voice communication in solo queue? You can only voice with your premade friends, which then isn't a problem.

Adding coms isn't going to stop toxic people from being toxic. We all already deal with hate messages in this game.

Coms, however, will give people the ability to communicate and hopefully have more fun/engaging matches.

Adding coms doesn't mean everyone has to be on coms 24/7. You can choose to leave coms off if that is your thing, or... and I know this may shock you, but if someone is flaming and being a bully in chat... there is a mute button.

Not adding positive things to a game because jerks exist is backwards thinking. There will always be jerks, but that shouldn't stop me from being able to talk, meet people, and coordinate with my team.

  • Adding game coms or a chat wheel would fix solo q. Idk why the devs have not done this yet.

  • @Gaffy said:

Then how about we actually make killers get some actual incentive to play more fair to the survivors instead of sweating their A's off trying to actually get pressure early by removing one unlucky person who was found first. Because the only efficient way to make pressure right now is removing someone at 4 gens to guarantee a win. If you've got any suggestions I'd be HAPPY to hear them.

    Unfortunately this.

Gens go by fast (especially with 4 stack swf) and a killer's best option is to get one person outta there as a fast as possible.

Everyone wants the killer to play nice and fair but to 3 hook every survivor and rotate them, all while kicking gens, is a big ask (and that is without survivor second chance perks).

Swf is fine how it is and doesn't need to be addressed. What I think does need to be addressed is solo q, gen kicks/regression/ gen taps, and creating more killer perks like Devour and Chili that encourage the killer to get away from hook and go after different survivors.

I agree it would really match the theme of the perk so not only are you completely silent while healing and make no healing noise it hides aura from nurses calling that would be great

That buff would make it a much better perk.

  • The one where killers were getting stuck inside pallets. I always got a good laugh from that.

It’s fixed in the patch notes they fixed the issue so if one person has bite the bullet and another heals it will still be silent

That is fantastic! Thank you for updating me ^^

  • Thank you everyone for your replies!

It is a shame that Bite the Bullet doesn't work for all survivors healing... kind of doesn't make sense and now I have zero interest in the perk :<

Technician should also be changed so if one person has it then the perk effects everyone working on the gen.

Sure these could be utilized to their full potential with swf but then that just means you have multiple survivors working on the same objective which isn't a bad thing.

  • I came to this game 3 years ago from Overwatch and I love how Bhvr runs their shop in comparison. I always told my friends that Bliz would get more money from me if I could just buy skins I wanted instead of gambling with loot boxes... I loath loot boxes and that practice all together. Its scummy and shady and something really should be done about it. End rant.

So are skins expensive? Sure, but they are not unreasonable. After all they are just cosmetic and a feel good thing.

Bhvr has the right idea- make content cheap, make cosmetics pricy. On top of that they do give out free cosmetics in the rift which is fantastic.

I am happy to buy the rift pass once in awhile or a skin here or there. I think I maybe spend about $50 on this game a year.

Speaking for getting rid of NOED, last night I was playing and I was cleansing a totem as the last gen finished. I guess NOED picked that totem to spawn on. It didn't even have time to light up and I took it out instantly. I've never seen that happen before. The best part was it was an AFK killer banking on NOED to come get us after the gens were done and I was doing bones the whole time for that reason.

And I agree if they changed NOED they should change the survivor perks too.

Hahaha that is always the best feeling! I have cleansed noed a couple times right as it lights up. Feels good ^^

    1. I didn't leave my team for dead they played like idiots and gave the demo 3 easy kills. I wasn't going to hand him number 4.
    2. the hatch was on the other side of the map from me so it was 50/50 if I found it.
    3. the killer only found me because I was opening a gate, my only other option. If NOED wasn't there I would have had it open and with a lucky dodge might have made it out.

I'm not upset at the killer for killing me. I'm simply voicing an opinion about a perk. If a killer runs it, that's their choice. I don't have to like it.

I can't help but notice a pattern here. Since I play both sides I see it all the time. A survivor complains about a perk or killer behavior it's

    "Well you screwed up"

    "Should have done this"

    "shouldn't have done that"

"you left your team for dead"

A killer complains about underhanded survivor behavior or a perk they have

    "It's a tactic to win"

    "just run this perk"

    "don't do this then"

    "you're just trash"

This community has such a bad double standard. I'm used to it by now but I still don't like it. what's wrong with us?

Playing like a complete ass and taking advantage of everything you can do stop the killer Makes you a good survivor. If a killer does the same thing and completely wipes a team of survivors? well they're just trash, the worst killer ever and too OP.

I know I've said those things in the past myself but after playing as both killer and survivor for a while I know how counter productive it is.

I apologize. I read your post as 'noed got me so nerf it'. There is at least 5 posts on it a day and it does get tiring seeing people dump on killers all the time because they dared use a powerful perk.

I play both sides as well. I have used noed, been hit by noed, and have also deleted noed by getting all the totems (very satisfying). I really don't see an issue with the perk. One its a hex, and two its an end game perk. The killer just went all match with 3 perks against 16 survivor perks. Idk... it seems fair to me.

Your suggestion makes me wonder about keys. What if a survivor dips with a key, killer closes hatch, and 2 survivors remain? Surely the killer should be able to have noed.

If it were to be changed to 'after the 5th generator is completed noed activates' then I would also have to suggest that survivor end game perks have the same condition. Would be unfair for killer to close hatch for Adrenilin or Hope to pop but noed is deactivated.

  • I will farm IF survivors want to. The charm doesn't effect how I play.

It makes me happy and I hope we get more lgbtq charms in the future but no matter what a survivor wears I'm still coming for them >:3

  • Yikes... Noed is not the problem here.

    1. You left your team for dead... for a single gen. That is cold (and not smart). Basement sitch is difficult but not impossible to bounce back from... but you need all hands on deck. Sitting on a gen at that point does nothing for you or your team.

    2. Hatch is your second chance to escape. The third being an exit gate. As the last survivor you don't need anymore chances. Your team messed up, you messed up. Why should the killer be denied their perk because of your bad decisions?

    3. The killer found you... noed or not you were dead.

Yes noed should activate when hatch closes.

  • Good theory! Part me loves that idea... the other fears it.

I am imagining boon totem as an additional totem in the trial that will only spawn once survivors as a group have completed certain tasks. Even then I think the boon that is given will be timed. I also doubt the boon will be of any significance. 4 survivors supper charged along with 16 perks would insanity... unless killers can now destroy totems as well.

Maybe that is what the Gnome event was for? To test killer animation for stomping totems??? If that is the case then maybe Boons will be perks like Hexes and 4 boon totem will exist alongside the killer's hexes and dull totems. Maybe survivors have to find a dull totem and activate their boon? That would be a good way to keep them off gens too ^^

No matter what I am excited!!! I love when new mechanics come into the game.

Either remove the cap or remove tiers on perks. As originally I believe that perk tiers were a thing to flesh out the blood web and make it a bit more grindy as there were only a few survivors/killers at the time but with that roster growing every 3 months, the grind will get worse and worse which could scare off potential new players.

Yes, it is times tiers disappear!

I also think all non-character perks should be unlocked on all characters from the start.

These two small changes would be a great first step in reducing grind.

As for removing the 8k cap, yes please!!!!

There are so many tinny qol changes the devs could do to make the grind of this game more forgiving.

One last suggestion... I wish there was an auto button for the web. Having to sit and pick every little thing is tedious. I wish I could just hit auto select, i don't care what it chooses, and then level my character up resetting the web. If there is something I really want I will pick through it but that is hardly the case.

Please devs... I pray to the entity for qol updates!!!!!!

I solo all the time too. I feel your pain. We soloing survivors need to stick together lol.

My friends all moved on from dbd. They got burnt out and then they got busy ;__; our schedules are opposite to. They are night owls and Im a morning lark.

I miss swf. Not for the easier time but for the laughs 🥲

  • I was with my friends. My first killer was Michael and I was so excited to see him! Im such a fan of the series.

We were on Haddon and I was doing a gen alone on the street. I saw Michael and he was just standing there. I remember saying "omg guys its Michael! This is so cool!!! He isn't doing anything, does he see me?" The comedic timing was insane. As soon as my friends started screaming run teir 3 went off and I was downed real quick. I was like "How he do that? What happened? What does the music mean!?" Everyone was laughing like crazy.

I miss playing with my friends ;___; *goes back to solo queue sadly*

  • Playing killer is all about time management. When to commit to a chase and when to drop it. When to kick a gen, or when to learn to let it go. Etc.

When you hit a survivor and continue chasing them, only for them to make it to a strong loop because they have DH, there goes another 30-40 seconds of your time. You now need to commit to the chase or drop. Either way the survivor has won. They have wasted too much of your time.

Now times that by 4 with unlimited uses. That is why DH is on people's raider as a perk that needs a nerf.

That is at the top of the food chain tho. More often then not DH works to my advantage when I play killer. Survivors think doing a 180 and DH will trick me or they simply DH into obstacles... in those cases DH works for the killer lol.

  • Some much Ruin and BBQ hate... so basic.

Many people use bbq for the blood points. It has 3 counters, 2 of which are not perk related. On top of that it encourages good game play- get the killer away from the hook and after someone else. As survivors we want that!!! It is the last perk that needs a nerf.

Hex perks already have a big counter and a number of perks to help delete them. Noed does not need a nerf. Saying it rewards bad killers is a cop-out. Survivors have a ton of second chance perks that let them bounce back from mistakes. Entity forbid the killer has one... (that can be destroyed... by cleansing totems).

Killer perks are pretty well balanced imo. If I had to pick it would either be Tinkerer with its two effects or Pop. I personality don't have issues with these perks BUT on the right killers they can be very overwhelming.

I main Trapper and Trapper is one of the lower tier killers. However, just because 1 perk out of ~50 perks, counters, allows 1 survivor to counter 1 or 2 traps the entire match, does not indicate that 1 perk needs nerfed. Iron Will counters Spirits power, Calm Spirit Counters Doctors power, Spine Chill counters Stealth Killers powers. There should be perks that somewhat counter killer powers. It's what really makes this game unique. It makes every game different, sometimes the killer has the advantage because of perks, sometimes the survivors have advantages because of perks.

The Trapper should be buffed and start out with 2 traps. Nerfing Dead Hard is not helping the Trapper and asking for a Dead Hard nerf for the Trapper just means that the Trapper is getting a crappy buff when the Trapper could be getting a much better buff.

Trapper could have have both those buffs and that would great for him! Carry at least 2 traps and DH doesn't null his traps.

You are right that there are perks that counter killers powers. However, Trapper is a special case. First, his power is already countered by disarming traps... no perk required. Second, Trapper's power requires going to get his traps, setting them up, and resetting them when they are sprung. This takes a ton of time away from chases and gen defense just to use his power. On top of all that swf on coms obliterate him. They know where traps are and can pop them fast.

So survivors already have the means to counter his power. DH not only gives survivors that invincibility frame but it also hinders Trapper. That pallet you trapped that a survivor just DH through... you can't follow them. You have to now pick up your trap to get past. At this point the survivor is long gone or they are going to play the pallet further wasting your time.

With Iron Will Spirit can still phase, still see scratch marks (or blood). She can use her power. Calm Spirit stops screaming but not madness. The doctors powers still work... also who runs calm sprit? I haven't seen that used in ages. As for Spine Chill it is good against sneaky killers but it doesn't stop stalking, invisibility, or reverse bear traps.

DH is a meta perk and in most games. Trapper has a very unique disadvantage to the perk and something should be done about it.

  • Unless Trapper gets buffed DH should not make survivors immune to bear traps.

Trappers has too many downsides to also allow a perk to ignore his power like that.

  • Any perk that targets a player is a bad idea. No I would not want it back... I would like to see Dying Light reworked tho!

  • It favors survivors when they work as a team. Having 4 survivors who synergies their perks, know how to stun, know how to run tiles, and each take their turn on hook will beat a good killer.

However that is maybe 10% of my killer games. The other 90% there are always 2 weaker players and not every group is a 4 stack. Even having 1 solo out of the loop is enough to bring the whole team down.

So you are not wrong, but you are grossly extraviagting things.

    This just made my day.

Whenever I see that survivors are struggling, I tend to let up a bit. I do things like pretending that I'm not in range to attack, switching targets constantly, and stalking survivors as if I were playing Myers despite actually playing Slinger or PH or something.

Just last match there were two survivors left, both on death hook. One survivor had DCed around the start, I guess because Calm, Order, Distressing, and Unnerving Presence (all max tier) on Lery's is more oppressive than I thought. I wasn't even running any slowdown.

For the last two gens, all I did was make sure that they both stayed in Madness II. As soon as the last gen finished, I found and killed one of the remaining two, and then corralled the last one to the hatch.

Those types of matches are some of my favorite, and I'm glad to hear that at least one person appreciates mercy and doesn't T-bag when they get W handed to them by their opponent on purpose.

That is so awesome ^^ As killer I feel its our duty to tone down the match when someone DC or we notice new players. There is no need to go full tilt and wipe survivors everytime.

And oh god no... as a 50/50 player I respect the heck out of killers hahahaha. If a killer is kind enough to go easy or give hatch I just want to hug them! If they are on the same system as me I send them a gg and thank you ^^

  • Same as yours!

As killer tho I am satisfied with at least 2 kills ^^

I get annoyed but sometimes understand if they’re being tunneled or camped, which I’ve seen a lot this week. Maybe it’s rank reset? Game has been very toxic lately and I’ve noticed the new killer players camp and tunnel as bad as bubbas. Lovely.

Its a mix of things and not always the killer's fault.

I have been in a few matches now that people DC as soon as they go down... or I was playing Trapper the other night and the first person trapped instantly DC.

There is really no good excuse to DC. It ruins the game for 4 other people.

  • When someone disconnects I groan and roll my eyes. The match is pretty much a wipe after that (if its at the begining).

I always try and do gens but if the killer is showing no mercy and just wants us dead I won't stop them. I have no issue with it! Clearly that match is no fun for anyone so might as well move on to the next.

When a killer does show mercy or play more kindly that makes me happy ^^ still get bp and safety pip! When I player killer and someone disconnects I usually farm as well.

  • Outdoor maps should have 5 zombies.

    Indoor maps should have 3.

Right now they are very underwhelming. I forget they are there until I see them shambling in the distance. When one does get close its easy to avoid. I wish they were a bit scarier.

  • I have played against him more then I have played him. So far my verdict is 'he is okay'. Not super strong and his power his meh.

The best things about Nemesis is his appearance, chase music, and the zombies. I just like the zombies because I think they are neat. From a game play perspective they are garbage hahaha. They either need to make the zombies faster and more of a threat, or they need to spawn like 5 more on outdoor maps... indoor 2-3 would be fine. Outdoors they are useless.

Playing as Nemesis feels bad. That 3 hits to infect/ down is clunky. Plague does the whole infection thing much better. At least she can contaminate with objects as well.

His perk Eruption needs a buff. Only a 6% regression for kicking gens and downing a survivor in time before they are completed, plus a 30 second cool down, is bananas. Either remove the cool down, or make it a 10% regression. The chances of kicking 2+ gens and downing someone in time before they are finished is low. I look at the perk and Pop, Ruin, Surge... they are all much better choices. Something needs to be done to Erupt to make it stand out more.

  • I like the idea of killers getting a little extra bp for going against a 4 stack.

  • Sluz?

Though that is a bad idea for the game as a whole, it is not a bad idea for a game mode.

It would be cool to have a hard challenge mode where scratch marks, TR, and Red Stain don't exist ^^

    .

I enjoy the challenges that require you to use different perks, complete generators, or acquire a certain number of bloodpoints. I dislike the challenges that require you to do things like stun the Killer x number of times, blind the Killer x number of times, or play altruistically since most people will just rush that and unhook you with the Killer standing right there. I also loathed the gnome chompski challenge because for that first week I kept getting slugged during ECG so that the Killer could find their charm.

The thing is that we all have challenges and all want the bloodpoints so I don't think it's toxic to do what is asked of you - you seemed to be fair about it.

I'm totally with you! We need mote challenges with perks/characters and less 'do this x number of times'.

    The 'unhook fellow survivors one' is one of the worst... I hate being farmed right in front of the killer ;_;

I also like the the Glyph ones ^^ it doesn't really effect my game play and its a nice little side task to do.

  • @CoalTower said:

Most "challenges" aren't challenging at all. They just force you to play on a way that isn't fun for the other side.

My fav ones are the challenges with perks. Those ones seem pretty harmless.

What kind of challenges would you like to see in the game?

  • Can you do a killer one :3?

My favs that you changed are:

    - Plunder

    - Buckle Up

    - Better Together

    - Dead Hard (not sure about the roll but it should not be immune to bear traps).

It's the killers hangout, the rest of the map is the survivors amusement park more or less. The only thing the basement needs is being a bit more creepy, or a way for the killers to pimp their own basement with bloodstains, bodys etc. No matter if I play killer or survivor I really like the basement. If I could have a sleepover in any map basement is were I would sleep.

That is a really cool idea to have Killer's be able to customize the basement somehow :D

  • I was hoping to hear something about reducing grind during the anniversary.

I miss the blood hunts :< I hope we see them again soon.

  • I think there should either be more regression with a kick, or, when a gen is kicked it takes a survivor 3-5 seconds to get progress going again (prevent tapping).

  • This is a great idea ^^

I have seen many really good suggestion for perk changes. Not just 'nerf this because I hate it' but changes that would take rarely used perks and make them more viable.

One of my fav suggestion I've seen is for Coulrophobia. Give it a 10-15 second lingering effect once survivors are outside your terror radius.

  • Ran it once back in the day to see how it worked and never again. Its a waste of a perk slot.

  • She is okay. There are a lot more interesting and unique characters tho. She always reminds me of the 'blonde bimbo' character in most horror movies that dies first.

I see why she is popular tho! She the hot blonde white gal with a lot of sexy cosmetics. I think her biker leather jacket one in the best ^^

  • I love what they did! She looks like she has more personality now.

Her hair is the best part.

  • This might be the best of the remodels so far o.o... all the other ones look a tad bit off :<
