It should be even more nerfed. I would say twice hook requirment + every survivor was hooked at least once.

Time to destroy these trash keys.

Thanks BHVR, but it's not enough.

Just play a different game if one of the coolest parts (mori's) of dbd bothers you that much 😏 I mean why cry over spilled milk when you want water anyways?!?!? Don't like getting mori'd?play killer, don't like being looped? go play fkn fortnite or something!

  • @Axe said:

Someone in BHVR deserve a raise

    thats all

Yayyyyy now all the CRYING can stop!!!

Survivor main btw and I LOVE the game even with mori's and NOED (which is just part of the game) the ONLY problem I have with the game is the PEOPLE that play!!! Lmao if EVERYTHING in the game makes people that mad, the best thing to do is play a different game. . But I guess crying works too πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

Unless I'm being camped, there's no reason to not get me before my second phase. Even while running kindred, I still almost died on first hook?? It makes the game super unfun when I'm dead on hook only a few minutes into a game.

Call me a bad teammate I don't care, the real bad teammates are the ones who let this happen to their other teammates every SINGLE trial. After my second phase on my FIRST hook, I'm 100% out of there. There's a big difference between getting caught a second time and then going into your second phase on hook than getting caught a second time and then immediately dying.

Unless the killer is face camping then I see no reason at all to let your teammates become dead on hook.

100% agree. I put it like this IF ANYONE EVER DIES ON 2ND HOOK YOUR TEAM IS TRASH!!!

2 matches in a row with 4 guys downed and they keep getting up as soon as i grab somebody. do you wanna know the result? 0/4 and entity displeased with "gg ez" in chat.

seriously, what's the purpose on using these crutch perks for survivors? i'm titled as hell right now. 2 sweaty survivor teams with this ugly perk and two times i get genrushed and teabagged at the exit because people can't accept their defeat so they need these "second chance" perks.

Unbreakable is to counter "sluggy" killers. There's no fun in a killer knocking you down and running off while you just lay on the floor. Learn how to play the game and I bet this wouldn't happen to you. Sure there are times when you NEED to slug but just trying to slug everyone to get a 4 k is just as lame as face camping every hook. Just play the damn game and stop acting like all these changes will make you any better πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I personally find it boring. The moment i see the communication flying i want to just switch off because there is no point.

I can down and hook them all i want, but nothing can stop the gens being done when they evenly spread out and warn each other about where you are going.

The most simple example is this. Chase a survivor off a gen at 80% and they just call over someone to finish it while being chased.

You can't keep them injured as they just organise group heals so gen "pressure" goes out the window as every chase starts from full health

You can't make plays as a killer because they just tell each other what you are doing so what is the point?

I really don't get where the "challenge" is in a stacked game.

And no.. they are NOT overly altruistic like everyone keeps spouting.

SWF is the WEAKEST thing anyone can do and it's soooooooo extra lame to play the game like that!!! Listen to the devs talk when the game first came out the whole challenging part of the game as a survivor was that u had to depend on randoms to make it. And if you wanna play a boring game like swf in DBD just go play Fortnite cuz you people are the reason dead by daylight has the most toxic community in the world!!!! You gonna tell me I get 2 kills and y'all are working together and then y'all are still salty?!?!? #########?!?! You suck at life if you play DBD with coms plain and simple!!!

  • @forst said:

every time there are 2 survivors to kill as soon as i am about to take down the last one, the friend makes DC and gives him the chance to win in a dirty way

this technique has come back stronger than ever and therefore the devs should put back the penalty

It's trash and people suck!!! That's the game lol but if it's supposed to be "balanced" then 2 kills isn't a LOSS it's a tie lmao but all in all DBD has the WORST kind of players!! Just remember people suck and try not to get mad about a game!!!

  • @ClickyClicky said:

Outside of insidious memes which are extremely rare I barely see any learherface campers.

Its always the stealth killers or low terror radius. Wraith, Ghostface, Deathslinger, and to a lesser extent these days Pig.

Good luck ever seeing a Ghostface or Deathslinger leave the hook.

I get camped by nearly every bubba I see!! I don't think I've ever been camped by a Ghost face and I know I've never been camped by Deathslinger. Been camped by a couple billys and wraiths always turn invisible and stand close enough to snatch somebody up on the rescue!! That's just bad gaming!!

  • @th3 said:

My favorite build is pwyf, nemesis, pop, bbq on him and I do amazing well

Do you facecamp??? Bcuz if u facecamp you don't do well lol if you facecamp u suck!! That's the point here!!

  • Nothing that is IN THE GAME is toxic!! People are toxic, people that msg you and say using certain perks is toxic, those people are toxic. If a perk is IN THE GAME it's fair to play. That's why DBD has the saltiest community in all of gaming, bcuz people have no idea how to play the damn game. If u run noed there's nothing wrong with that it's in the game for a reason!!!! If u run decisive and borrowed time or unbreakable it's not toxic it's part of the fkn game!!!!! Toxic is being a douche and face camping the hook or waiting for the unhook and farming someone. That's toxic!! Toxic is losing a game and sending someone a msg talking sh** THAT'S toxic!!!

  • @GreyWolfofNorth said:

She wiggled off turnt around unhooked her friend on the hook and they dead harded past me. I was infinite tier 3 Myers. Called them out for being toxic and they turnt around and said Infinite tier 3 is toxic. Legit curious I thought Myers was the most balanced killer around? Curious to hear your guys opinions.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/9J4N9V71K1UL/20200726-140958.jpg

Yeah you are definitely in the wrong bro bro. What I hate is how people complain about perks that people use to WIN. . Ummmmm ITS THE WHOLE POINT OF THE GAME . . If you're not trying to win then don't be mad when you don't. . Duh!! There's nothing toxic about escaping a killer, what's toxic is calling someone toxic for playing the game! I get it I let the last one go sometimes too but what did you expect?? If she would have just left the other one on the hook THAT would have been toxic!!! That's the WORST kind of teammate. YOU are what's wrong with the DBD community!!!

  • @Snowbawlzzz said:

The fact that he can down 2 with one chainsaw charge kind of incentivizes camping in a game where people under stress will often resort to it anyway.

Yeah but if you're actually good at the game and play it to have fun and kill some time then you would never even consider camping bcuz it takes all the fun out of the game. It's like playing monopoly but you start with a million dollars πŸ˜’

  • @Squirrel_Thicc said:

I don't really think it's a secret that killer kinda sucks to play at high ranks. I know that I'm not the first (or last) to complain about solo queue. Slightly long thread read if you care. (Btw this is all my personal experience and all of my friends agree with me).

Yes, survivor is mostly a better experience than killer... again MOSTLY. That being said...I have never wanted to quit dbd more than when I play solo queue. I played 5 solo queue games tonight. Game 1: Sandbagging teammate and not a single one of my teammates did a gen. Only one gen got done and it was me that did it. The sandbagging teammate also dc'd. Game 2: My teammates were all rank 13... I'm rank 3. During a chase 2 of my teammates dc'd. Shortly after... my last teammate dc'd. Game 3: Left to die on first hook with kindred on. Killer wasn't camping. Game 4: We all escaped. It was a close match but we all got out. Game 5: Teammate got downed very early and rage quit. We proceeded to get rekt by the killer which is whatever.

The issue is that people in solo queue are selfish, trolls, they dc, they don't do anything and I'm consistently put with low rank teammates. This wouldn't be an issue if this didn't happen 9/10 times I play solo queue.

The point of this thread is I want to hear your feedback. Can anyone else relate to this? As of right now I quit solo queue. I ask that if you leave feedback that you're respectful. Thx for reading.

I think it's more of a matchmaking problem bcuz when I play survivor I always feel like it's 4 on 1 against me lol yeah it's hard to find a good team 1 of 5 games is better luck than I have!!! I'm usually in purple ranks and most of the time have 3 rank 20's on my team with a rank 1 killer like #########?!?! I really think it's matchmaking that needs a fix more than anything bcuz people who get to at least purple ranks (weather trolls or not) at least try to play the game and win as opposed to those who just follow the killer around teabagging and clicking the flashlight 1000 times.

  • @Lx_malice said:

Survivor, moreso solo, just seems very frustrating and boring compared to killer. The only thing that seems to be fun about playing survivor is being chased but after a few matches I just can't deal with bad teammates giving me a headache or just sitting on gens anymore and I go back to killer.

As a killer, however, YOU are the action. You get to be the one chasing the survivors. As a survivor only one person gets to have the killers attention at a time otherwise the best thing for you to be doing is sitting on gens, but as killer you'll always have someone to be chasing therefore you'll always be in the heat of the action throughout the game. In addition to that; every one of the 20 killers has their own unique ability(s) that you can play around with using different perks and add-ons with some of said killers being fan favorites from classic slasher films yet the majority of the player base are survivors. Not to mention we don't have to worry about dumb teammates screwing us over. As for survivors they're all just different skins with the same basic abilities as all the other survivors. Yes they can customize themselves with perks but most of them opt to run the same things every game anyways.

As for gen speeds yea I'm aware they can be a problem if you're playing a low tier killer and get a bad map or if the survivors are extremely well coordinated but pretty soon we're gonna be getting a boost to our early game to make these things easier to deal with.

Overall I just don't find survivor anywhere near as fun as killer. I can agree that survivor does have its moments where you get to lead the killer on a really long chase but I just find killer to be more fun more often. I'm just saying that I'd like to enjoy survivor as much as I do killer, but maybe there's something I'm missing? Maybe some of you can explain to me what is it that makes you prefer survivor over killer? I'm genuinely curious.

That's dumb, real dumb... Yeah bad team mates suck and are 90% of the teammates you get but if nobody played survivor there would be no game. Survivor is waaaaaay more fun bcuz it's waaaaaay more challenging I used to play killer a lot but it's just too easy. . And too easy means not much fun. If you like a challenge and having fun survivors are def the way to go. And I ONLY play solo bcuz teaming as a survivor is the weakest thing you can do in life πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ go back to the origins of the game and the devs said part of the game is having to depend on random people. . Idk how many times I die ONLY BECAUSE MY TEAM SUCKS!! but that's the game you either die or you don't so if you don't like dying sometimes then play killer and if you don't like not getting a 4k every time then play survivor and if you don't like either then go play fkn Fortnite!!

  • @Kira15233 said:

So as we all know, Doc is pretty good on each maps, even on maps with 2 floors, I say we change that. Doc souldn't be able to shock survivor downstairs of The Game map when he is above, that's something that shouldn't be done. Remove the ability to Static Blast upstair when he's downstair and etc, would balance him out quite well and won't be as broken as he is now. Just my random thought on a change for him!

So you want to make it where you can't hear his TR when you are on a floor above or below him?? That's not very smart!! The doc is the funnest killer to go against as a survivor BECAUSE of that shock therapy and static blast that hits you outta nowhere! Don't be a sore loser just enjoy the game!!

Well first of all, it isn’t team it’s teams. As I play Bubba quite a lot. He’s never been a weak killer. A lot of people just didn’t know how to play him. Does his rework make him better? It sure does. Was he still a good killer in the right hands before? He sure was. It’s each to their own. But I’ll never accept that he was a weak killer. As for me and my play style, he wasn’t.

I would choose Bubba over Spirit or Billy any day of the week.

See I got a 4k in my 1st match but the team were kinda trolls and trying to F with me and F'd around and got themselves killed but I haven't had a good game with him yet but I have been trying to get chainsaw down which clearly takes a lot of practice. . .and patience. . But I'm gonna be playing with him a lot since I want his other faces!! Definitely not one of the strongest killers but I guess it's just like mike with super perks and good add ons and some practice he can be pretty good. The tantrum is what frustrates me bcuz it takes 3x longer than any other killers cool down from a missed attack. . Even billys missed attack cool down isn't THAT bad. . Idk what he was like before or if his rework is even on console yet but I'm gonna keep trying bcuz I want those damn faces!!!

That just means the team you were on did some foolish things. Couoke of bad chases is all it takes to snowball with killers that one shot. Part of tge issue is with bubba it doesnt take much to not make those mistakes. It happens, but its very inconsistent. You HAVE to run very specific add ons and specific builds to stand any kind of chance. Bubba base is truly awful.

Which is why theyre updating him

That's my point. Like I've said in the past if you can't get a good game with a killers own unique perks then that killer is not very good. Anybody can have a good game running noed and ruin and bbq and all the crutch perks but if u use a killer with his own perks and it's bad EVERY TIME that killer is no good!!! Like I've said about Michael Myers . Sure he's OP with tombstone and red add ons but who isn't?!? Just running him with HIS perks and let's say yellow add ons he is not the best but let someone run silent mike with all the super perks of course you get a 4k 9 times out of 10!!!

  • @TheLastGreatStar said:

I personally disagree. I think he’s a strong killer when you know how to play him. I’ve gone against a few on console who tore through me and my team and that was without camping. I actually love playing as him too and don’t seem to struggle. I actually feel strong playing as him and often 4K.

No killer in the game is weak, it’s just some are easier to pick up and play than others. Clown is considered weak. I can destroy as him. Legion is considered weak. I can destroy as him. Billy is considered strong. I hate playing as him. Spirit is considered strong. I hate playing as her. See my point?

I get it. I mean I got the 4 k first game but I swear they all killed themselves by trying to 360 and run at me and then the last guy alive jumped right on top of me. That chainsaw just takes some getting used to and the tantrum takes FOREVER!!

When they announced ranks would no longer be visible I said "Great. Instead of fixing the problem you'll just make it so I can't see how bad the MM is screwing me" Considering how bad it's getting it might not be a bad idea to just remove rank.

At least that way I wouldn't expect a half decent team and get stuck with potatoes!! πŸ˜‚

  • @Purgatorian said:

Just to show how messed up the matchmaking is lol.

4 games in a row like this and finally got like a super team where everybody played defense and worked together and 3 got out against a rank 2 and then I play one more game and got this s#!+!!! C'mon DBD devs please don't make me go back to Fortnite πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  • @Johnny_XMan said:

Michael is far from being the worst.

He is probably the most balanced killer in the game. If you want to play someone who doesn’t have to work for their power pick Oni or Freddy or even Spirit.

Sounds to me like you just don’t know how to use him or his power.

Freddy was the worst killer I had until I got mike!! I get that he can't just be a super killer but balanced? Hell no!! He's weak compared to every other killer I play with. I don't have ALL of the killers yet but thru trial and error you learn how to use each perk and Mikey's perks are dog $#!+!!!!! But when you have better perks and RED ADD ONS he's way OP . I got his powers down now and my mind hasn't changed that he's BY FAR the weakest killer in the game!

  • My least fav is (believe it or not) Michael Myers!! Now as a survivor Mike is scary af when he just pops up out of nowhere but it takes HOURS AND HOURS of playing and he has to be pretty leveled up with nice perks and add ons to be that good. I like a killer you can just jump in and play with, without having to run crazy perks and spend 1,000,000 bp to get them where you wanna be!!

  • @Kolonite said:

STBFL and PWYF are two of the most used perks in the game. I don't know what world you're living in where those are bad. His best builds don't really use his base perks though. You just need to unlock the good ones. Infectious and bamboozle are both very good on Myers and help you snowball like a madman.

I always run a new killer with their own perks first to see what they are SUPPOSED to be played like but I get it I just hate trying to keep track of different perks with stacks especially since the games I been playing has been against purple ranks who know how to play against mike but I already got the hang of him but he's deff at the bottom of my list of killers!

  • @Huff said:

Don't say it almost calls for a refund just because you aren't using the killer correctly. I'm not even trying to say that as an insult to you. It's just simply the fact that he can be pretty deadly, and his stalk isn't useless once they know it's Myers. He can still stalk perfectly fine, even if he has to get right up behind somebody. That isn't even considering Michael potentially having something like his iridescent fragrant tuft of hair add on, or the purple mirror add on.

When I play survivor against mike as soon as I know it's him I play totally different and keep an eye on him and never let him get close. Once I know it's Mike his stalk is useless on me but I'm a survivor main and yeah he's scary as sh!t to play against but easy to avoid.

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

Thats part of the Online Community behavior. If you lose a game, you have to insult the other party and their mother. Its basically a rule.

See now if someone messaged me all salty talking about my mom it wouldn't be as f.ing stupid as telling me I'm trash for letting you go lol I've been tempted to message people and tell them to uninstall the game but I keep my douche thoughts to myself πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Yeah keep going, they get harder. Those trolls do it for a reason, you get pissed off you start tunneling them, abd because youre tunneling and no longer in yellows the other survivors actually do gens. Plus when youre pissed you make more mistakes. They ARE outplaying you, especially if they got you to quit because of it. Stop getting mad, use that guy to get rid of a few pallets then break chase and go after someone else

Right! Yeah I don't rage quit lol I like to bring a green Mori for those guys lol if the other 3 get away I'll be ok as long as I kill the douche!!

Hopefully they add it. I don't see why not.

Youre starting to lesrn something most survivors dont know.

Playing killer isnt as easy as it looks

Honestly when I started playing I played only killer but its almost too easy so I switched to survivor for a challenge but since silent hill dlc came out I been switching back and forth but once you get to purple ranks it's like everybody is a troll and wants to run around teabagging with a flashlight and it just takes the fun out of the game

  • @Artick said:

So you played 3 games in which you learned everything there is to learn about his power and are able to properly judge the killer? Seems legit

I normally can get a 4k within 3 games. Anybody should be able to do that with a decent killer!

  • @Dead_by_Gadfly said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/171170/the-shape-is-the-worst

Ive done the adept for all the killers. Deathslinger is the worst. Its not even close.

Mike just takes some getting used to. He has really good perks πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

See I disagree Deathslinger is one of my favs to play with and I try to get the adept achievement first before I run any other perks on a killer. My top 3 with their own unique perks is The Pig, Ghost face and Deathslinger!!

  • So I ended up getting a 4k after about 3 more games . You just have to play the slow game and drag it out. They had one gen left to complete and 2 diff. gens that were about 75% but I got em!! He's still the weakest in my opinion but not complete garbage. I just had to figure out HOW to use his weird perks . I just know when I play survivor and Mike is the killer it's like I can't outrun him no matter what!!
