Then don’t give them any money.
seems like there are people actually enjoying the game even with the flaws so they spend their money on it.
Doesn't matter does it? There are people who will buy up every new skin they can, as long as they make money they'll keep pushing out game breaking bug filled patches one after the other. Dbd is becoming a really scummy game. I don't buy the skins but one person won't make them give us quality gameplay over money.

For me, I don't. Don't wanna be responsible for someone getting taken out of the game before a single gen gets done or they get tunneled and then moried and i'm responsible for all that
Yeah I agree if the killers hang around the person I won't go in for it unless I have bt or something. It's better to must bang out gens cuz they waste so much time trying to get the tunnel on the hooked guy.
-
Is anybody surprised? The game is teaming with bugs and performance issues. Among other things. But they can be counted on in making sure they get their money from our pockets. Don't give me the different teams do different things bs. They earn so much money each year yet still can't fix their game. This shows they don't care unless it's money involved.
-
It's been like forever unfortunately. The devs won't change it their stubborn when it comes to not being harsh on swfs or people abusing the almost non existent rank system. Because they know there's gonna be people claiming that it's just cuz their friends don't play often. Unfortunately more often then not they just want to bully new players. Like I said tho whether or not u agree with what I'm saying they will not change it because it would mean possibly changing how swfs work. Maybe even consider a nerf which everyone would scream about.

I've been playing DBD since it dropped and have had to deal with constant debuffs for survivors, from the broken parts to the medkits syringes/styptic to borrowed time ect..ect..
The killers have been at a RISE from hex ruin to all the perks they have that reveal our auras and instant downs with a long list since 2016.
You're complaining about loops, the thing that literally makes the game a thriller/chase/hunting game. You have all the TOOLS put out on a platter for you that can literally destroy survivors before first Gen even gets touched.
We all work/grind out the game to get our top ranks, not to mention having to deal with killers that just camp/proxy/tunnel/slug. That's the game. You're complaining about something that makes the game equal and fun for both sides!
I have friends (and myself) that live to hunt the survivors and literally enjoy when they prove themselves by not being able to get hit. We praise them for their skills because we are on both sides of the coins knowing how its not that freaking easy my dude!
You're worried about keeping constant W's when it looks like you really just hate taking a proper L from someone undoubtedly better than you at loops/chases.
In conclusion. Stop crying and GIT GUD BOI.
Good to see this community hasn't lost its toxicity.

Hiding is boring. I want to run and be chased. As killer, I enjoy outperforming a survivor with mind-games. From killer perspective, I also hate looking for survivors, which is why I play as Legion. I'm not wasting my time looking through every bush on Dead Dawg. Yes, holding 'W' can be "boring", but that's only a problem on a select few maps. Most maps, and generic tiles have opportunities for both sides.
Looping also more than just running around a block of wood, or jumping through a window. It's about pathing, and understanding your opponent. Survivors who can think outside of the box, and chain together tiles, and lose the killer by taking unique pathing (not being predictable) stand out from the rest. Bonus points if you can do it without using a single pallet.
tldr: stealth is boring af
That's your opinion personally I think looping has gotten stale and I think it's fun to be stealthy. The moment you dupe a killer completely is so satisfying.
As a killer even If i do mindgame its repetitive. The same thing at every loop. Once you've got it down That's kinda it. If the survivor makes no makes there's little I can do.
I agree that the current way stealth is promoted is a little boring for killers as a killer myself I feel the same. But if they where to put effort into making it more of an intriguing playsyle for both sides I think it could be cool.
Sorry but I and loads of other people are getting a little bored playing one game mode. Running the same loops, the same mind games with the sane meta.

Oh man haha, I remember my very first killer game. It was around the time clown just go released. My first game was with hag, I got a 4 kill game. Which was mainly because I had watched a lot of dbd gameplay before I got the game so I had an idea of what to do...plus it was rank 20. Tell you what though it was fun. I didn't not enjoy a single part of the match. Grinding bloodpoints I thought was fine. It was manageable....it's not now. It takes weeks upon weeks to get all the perks you want on a killer. I feel bad for new players honestly. They need to do something.
My first survivor game went alright. It was fun learning loop. And I gotta say I missed like one or two skill checks and from then on I was sound with skill checks it isn't hard. My first killer I played against was trapper. And it was fine except the trapper was rank 15 to 14. It was green is all I remember but yh I could tell they knew what they were doing but hey that's the rank system for ya it's still totally rubbish today. But back then I had fun. I didn't know about balance and I'm not gonna lie I was playing all nighters it was so much fun.
It's why I criticise this game heavily I freaking love this game and I want better quality so it can be better for everyone.
-
I mean as long as a killer can do good against survivors there gonna be called op. Heck I even saw a thread for demo being op. Demo! He is extremely balanced. Just needs better add ons imo. Blight is also extremely balanced. He has plenty of weak points and counterplay but is fun to use and his power is good.

As a survivor, if I see someone doing this to killer, I just expose their location to the killer every chance I get. Idc about this jerk, I wanna see them dead on the hook 😌
I do the same. If for example some guys been clearly toxic all game and I can save them I'll just leave. I've been where the killers been and it's one of the worst experiences in the game. That and falling through the damn map lol.

I'll make it as brief as I can. I considered this game flushed of intentional toxicity as of late. I've been playing with crossplay on, crossplay off, swf, solo, the whole enchilada. Generally i've been seeing a lot of fun games with equally skilled players, close shaves, and crucial decision making that makes the game as fun as it's ever been.
When I'm a survivor.
With the same restrictions to who i play with (or lack thereof), i have been seeing a massive, MASSIVE spike in BMing from the other side. As a (Rank 8) killer, I've had 1 game with ranks comically lower than me, 3 games with "actual" equal ranks (more on that in a sec), and the rest, about 15 give or take, have had 2 or more red ranks. Idk how many of them were swf, but i'd wager a majority of them have been.
As for the ranks similar to mine, 5 out of the 8 of them had smurfs (this was with crossplay turned off), and the remaining 3 were completely normal and respectable survivors. But dear god, the red ranks. They T-bag after every pallet, swarm a hooked survivor (if i can even manage that) while preparing to flame me for "camping" a survivor with all 3 others in view trying to bait me, run around and moonwalk at gate knowing i cant get them, flame me when i dont pick up the Laurie crawling towards me trying to DS, flame me when i cant get them, and even, when all 4 of them escape handily, flame me for playing an overpowered and terribly-designed-for-the-survivors-experience killer (deathslinger).
Genuinly what gives? I play as normal as possible, i dont go out of my way to tunnel or camp and just follow the first person i see, i dont guard gens like a prison warden, i dont nod my head wildly or hit on hook, hell they'll do all this before ive even theoreticly had a chance to bm.
Not to MENTION i KEEP GETTING INDOOR MAPS but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Also just as a side note ive seen the "rank doesn't matter" argument so much and, as a killer, it does. If you go against a red rank team as a purple rank you will lose. if you go against purples as a green you will lose. if, as a survivor in red ranks, one member is a purple, yeah it doesnt. But, as a killer, if the one red rank always escapes, or if you do ######### against reds but good against whatever you are, then yeah, it matters. Plus i mean only reds say rank doesnt matter but thats beside the point.
So what are youre thoughts/exps? Blanket statements like "well ive been camped" "yeah survivors suck" and the basic counters aside, of course. These are just my experiences, i just feel theyre too unyielding for it to just be a series of bad matches.
I agree with you on this. It's like when I'm playing swf I see a lot of people getting really cocky and toxic. I'll say the killer is just trying to have fun to but truth is survivors don't care if the killers are having fun. If you play survivor and you do care then good on you I hope to finally meet someone like you in a match but basically every game I play against swfs it's toxic survivors. Spamming flashlights clicks, teabagging etc..If I'm beaten by a good team without keys I'm happy heck even it it's a swf. But it's when they go out of their way to make the game less fun. Personally I think they should implement something like if a player crouches rapidly in succession they get the exhausted status effect for some time as a penalty. I think that would be a very fair mechanic. Wouldn't solve the problem but it would make it less appealing. What do you guys think?

The whole point of video games is to have fun. If the game isn't fun and you feel it's unfair to you, don't play.
I was away for months because the challenges destroyed the game as a solo survivor. I just came back four days ago to see if it was any different and I've put in about 20 hours since then. Now that I'm back in purple ranks?
Ebony moris used as soon as possible in almost every other game.
Not a single syringe or styptic or key. No joke. I've always paid attention because killers always screamed on the forums about how fair all of those things were to justify the game-breaking ebony moris. Where was the ebony mori nerf? Insta heals got nerfed - syringes no longer insta heal, and the styptic isn't an insta heal at all.
I run DS and I'm shocked how often I'm the only person running it. Killers almost always go straight back to the hook, if they don't outright camp, and tunnel the person out of the game. DS won't save you from being mori'ed out of the game in 60 seconds when your random teammate makes an unsafe hook.
I'm glad though you let me know all I had to do as a survivor main was decide to win and then I'd win. I will never again have two teammates who haven't been hooked once self care in a corner, leaving me slugged for three minutes when I'm on death hook. I will never again have all three teammates stop doing gens when there are two to go, assuming everyone else will finish for them. I will never again die on my first hook to a facecamping Bubba. I'll never have a teammate refuse to play injured and spend the entire game hiding. I'll never cleanse four totems, and die to a garbage killer who hit me one time the entire game because not one of my teammates could do even one totem. I'll never have a teammate loot a key and stop playing, deciding early on that they will do nothing a just wait for everyone to die. THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW!
One of the most entailed survivors I have ever heard. Literally just said everything he said is wrong and you're right instead in the most condescending way possible. Very nice person.

There is no evidence of how things "will be" in the future. We won't know what we know till we know it. And for the record, I happen to like the breakable walls at the Saloon. I don't have a problem with the walls in any of those maps. I glad some of them are breakable to prevent the infinite. So your evidence that the new map "will be" bad is because you don't like the current ones? :) That isn't even evidence the current maps are bad. That is just another opinion.
The DEV is not some AI, or alien creature. It is people who work on this game, for long hours and pour their hearts and souls into it. When people spend their time relieving themselves on it 24/7 it comes across as rude. So, back to my former point, this is not the way you get their attention. Whenever I've had a problem or an issue, I've raised it with them through the correct channels. When I was polite and to the point, I always got a resolution. My advice in this matter is based on actual experience. People can choose to behave in a civilized manner, or they can act like Trolls. I'm merely pointing out that one way is more effective than another.
Yet again I'll point out the original post is in no way rude or offensive towards the devs. And again a bring up the point of the devs not being able to take criticism. This is my opinion anyway. I respect the devs for what they do. I love the game. But I'm not going to tell them I think everything's great and peachy. Now the reason I may seem very anti dev is simple. I'm not really sure the quality they are asking players money for is worth the asking price. Now hear me out. You seem genuinely intelligent so I'm interested to get your take on this. The base game is their first way of making money, yeah? Nothing wrong with that so far. Okay then there's the skins. Look fantastic I must admit. Yeah okay. Then there's the dlc. Right I can live with I mean, I'm not sure about making the bloodpoints system to grindy but I do definitely disagree with how long it takes to earn iri shares but fine. Plus I understand they can't have free license chapters. Perfectly understood. Then there's the rift. I'm British so I'm gonna use pounds but you can do the same for your currency. The rift is 7 pounds 99 pence. Okay That's decent and you get auric cells back. 70 tiers...right erm not a lot of content to be honest. Little disappointed in grindy nature of the rift as well since its clearly trying to make players spend money to complete those last few tiers. Which is fine until it comes to buying the next rift pass. You used some auric cells from the last one so you have to cough up another 7 pounds 99 pence. But let's look I what you get two decent skins a few recoloured ones and maybe an extra common one. Let's compare this to another game that uses battle passes because that's what the rift essentially is. Fortnite is in a completely different league compared to dbd and I hate it tbh. But they both use battle passes fortnite arguably is the most famous example.
So the skins are quite good. The emotes are fun and look nice. And there's a lot more to. Which to be fair on dbd their only equalivent is charms which are ok at best. Fine dbd is a smaller company they make less money I understand that. Fortnite also offers 100 tiers. However fortnite is free. Which makes sense to why they have a battle pass AND skins.
This is all well and good till you look at the quality of gameplay and game health, bugs etc. That sorta thing. Now it's not secret dbd has bugs. The devs acknowledge the fact that the game seems to have bugs everywhere you turn. There's also graphics which they are in the process of improving but even some of the new ones are a little pixelated. The gameplay for the most part is fun and enticing. Maybe stale at times due to the same meta perks on both sides but I'm a horror nerd so I can still get enjoyment out of it unless bugs prevent me. Or low fps. Or low optimisation. Patches that seem to create more problems than solutions. Killers that come out bug filled. Or times when the game is just unplayable after patch like the ps4 situation earlier in October.
My issue stems from this. The devs are willing and do, still ask for that earlier amount of money whilst all these problems constantly riddle the game. They were asking for money in the grindy rift pass when graphics weren't up to scratch. They gave us lackluster Halloween events but expect us to buy up their skins. I've not even mentioned game balance because it's subjective but even without that it's kinda disgusting the amount of money they ask of us when their game isn't worth that amount. Let's look back at fortnite shall we. Free to play. Free updates. Amazing events. Little bugs, little poor gameplay health. Communication with their community is great and constructive criticism is taken onboard not censored. And look at how well it's doing. The proof is out their.
Now yes you will say the rift is optional t's not though. You are always making progress in the rift whether you like it or not. Just by playing the game. I say the rift isn't and the archives by extension aren't free, they cost time. And your sanity to sit their for weeks grinding away and look I love me an rpg but that feels rewarding. Grinding for the rift through one at a time challenges feels slow and monotonous. Bland and disappointing. Whereas fortnite only has to methods of making money dbd has four. Whereas fortnite has many free game modes, dbd only has one. Fortnite has a 100 tier good quality battle pass. Dbd has a grindy 70 tier mix of good and meh and just plain bad items.
I love the game and I respect the devs. I want to believe they have are best interests at heart I do. Because when I see them talk about the game and us it's lovely and uplifting. Credit where credit is due I know the devs can pull it out of the beg. Just like at the skins in the shop, your favourite licenses and end game collapse. All things people love and respect. But when they ask for our money before say giving us said quality content. Such as game mode etc. I get a little annoyed. And I'm tired of people defending it. Because if you do nothing changes. The devs will eventually loose money and players heck they already did at Halloween. And we will loose a game that could be brilliant. Will it ever rival fortnite? No. But I use that as a famous comparison to show can be not exact but an idea.
Dear god this is a long rant sorry. Hopefully someone has patience to read it all. I would love to hear some feedback That's kind and polite and I will be polite back. I just want the game I love to be the best I know it should be you know.
-
Honestly unsure. I have my good moments and my ######### was I thinking moments but I'd say 7/10 for killers. I think there's always room to improve and sometimes I can get side tracked.
7.3/10 I find survivor a bit more fun. I love the idea of working together with people being able to rely on your teammates and getting those epic play moments. But I play solo que so it's dependant on the skill of my fellow teammates as well , the fun I mean anyway.

Those are not infinites, dont call them like that. Also "no reason"... I would not say that. The reason can be that the Main Buildings were too weak after the Rework.
If we look at the Maps:
Coal Tower-->The Walls are fine downstairs. Coal Tower did not need changes to begin with, it was considered as one of the most balanced Maps even before the Map Rework a few months ago. Walls upstairs are not needed at all tho.
Storehouse-->This is the only Wall I would consider bad. Because they also removed the unsafe Pallets in the Storehouse. So it turns from Survivor-sided with the wall to killer-sided without the wall. Not good.
Ironworks-->The Building did not have anything after the removal of the God Window (which was 100% justified). And the Wall upstairs makes the upper part actually somewhat meaningful for gameplay. This is a two-story building where you would never ever go upstairs, except for that one Chest and a Totem Spot. Now you can actually use the upper Floor at least once.
Suffocation Pit-->I am twisted on that one, since it is either a quite weak breakable Wall or a Wall next to a strong Window.
But overall, it is not like the MacMillan-Maps are a Nightmare for Killer since they added the walls. If anyone has a hard time on that Maps, it is certainly not because of the Walls.
The big problem I have with the walls isn't that they are necessity bad but that I just sometimes don't see the point in it? If that makes sense like for example blocking the entrance of the coal tower. I don't really understand that it's just weird imo. And breakable walls were meant to be something that killers can play with to do more things in chase not totally break something but to add an extra something to the simple and somewhat bland chase. Or well that's I interpret them. But with the upstairs window next to the wall my big problem is that the upstairs is now basically a guaranteed safe spot. It was already a decent place if played well especially good with balanced landing I mean some of the plays I've made with that perk i felt so mean because there wasn't much the killer could do and now there's seemingly even less. Instead the killer has to take precious seconds to go out of their way to break it. And if you look at the fact one second is four seconds for the survivors then you may see where certain issues arise. But I will be honest I agree with suffocation pit being...odd I think. Honestly haven't got clue what it's purpose serves but I think it's somewhat lazy on the devs to throw these walls in places but hey they're new so I'll wait a little longer before giving my final verdict.
Also the reason I refer to it as an infinite is because if the killer were to not break the wall using those precious seconds to do so that loop would be and infinite. Much like the window downstairs was.
Coal tower is a weird one. I think the was no need for any of the walls to be honest. The upstairs breakable walls from last time I tried to use them actually don't work. You can break them but you can't go through them. But tbh I'm not sure why on earth a killer would even want that.

It has zero chance of getting the DEV's attention. This is because it was a rude, ill-considered post. I realize many of you grew up thinking the norm of social interaction is to be Trolls on the internet, but I'm going to clue you in on something basic. In the real world, and when attempting to get something done, that isn't how people actually interact. Most people simply shut down and pay you zero attention when you insult them. And he isn't voicing an opinion on anything because we don't have the new maps to even consider yet. More to the point, he is making predictions that everyone here has heard for years (and has never come true). It is a silly post.
If you actually want to get their attention, you write polite posts and support your assertions with evidence and commonsense. That is the only thing they "might" pay attention to.
Ok so .... There was zero rude or offensive comments in his initial post. Furthermore to say he has no proof of bad map reworks or design is completely untrue. Just look at the abundance of breakable walls slapped onto dead Dog salons main building. Look at the newly reworked Macmillan maps central buildings. Not only do they use unnecessary breakable walls they also use it to bring back infinite loops.
The post can't be ill-considered as you put when he clearly states the negatives for the entire playerbase and devs themselves. Are devs learning from past mistakes in small ways yes and in large ways no. If you think that post is a troll post then please look up the word in a dictionary because you must be so unbelievably stubborn to actually think this post is in anyway rude or offensive because let me CLUE you in on something you sound like a condescending player who settles for sub par gameplay and game quality instead actually wanting the game to improve in a meaningful way for the community and the devs, by calling players who disagree with the devs silly or treating them like their a brainless child. People aren't happy with the game atm there's no denying that, less and less people are gonna throw money at it if we don't let our opinions be heard. This guy is voicing an opinion and whether you like it or not he brings up some valid points.
By saying this isn't how people interact I'd like to draw your attention towards the fact the devs don't interact with their community enough. They only like positive comments about their game which in fairness I will give credit where credit is due, for example I think visually the new maps are okay. They have some pixelated textures but I can live with that. The devs actively silence people on the forums which is morally wrong and as you yourself say is not how people talk to each other. However I will not mention names because I don't want to get into trouble and I respect people's privacy.
Look I know your probably just gonna respond with some snarky childish insult or flat out ignore what I say but I think hearing people like this poster out is something the devs could do more often to avoid waves of backlash etc. I want this game to succeed but it won't if we just pretend everything's fine. Yeah the devs won't look at this post I agree but it's worth a shot.

He's giving a valid opinion based on the rubbish Macmillan rework. It's better to try a get the devs attention before the graphical update trying to get the devs attention. Heck if it even has a slight chance of it then it could improve their ideas. And it is very silly to have a go at someone for voicing their opinion.

@AnnoyingNarrator said:
If you had to ask me what the most useful survivor perk in the game was, I would have to say Dead Hard. Is the perk super powerful? No. Does it stop any tactics like decisive strike? No. So why is it the most useful?
As the title states, it gives way too much value to any survivor using it. But what do I mean by value? When I say value, I am referring to the benefits the perks give you at the cost of using it. For example, sprint burst can be used against killers like Ghost Face to avoid getting instantly downed and get to a loop, but you have to walk everywhere and you can't use other exhaustion perks. Dead Hard, on the other hand, has no downsides to running it. You can still run other exhaustion perks, (mind you still shouldn't do it, but it is better than running say lithe and sprint burst together.)
But what about the benefits? Dead Hard is, without a doubt, the most versatile exhaustion perk in the game. The only times it is not useful is if you are getting instadowned, but only a select few things can do that (*insert chainsaw noises*). So what does Dead Hard let you do?
- It lets you make it to a Pallet or Vault that was just a little too far.
- It lets you, at any time, make some distance between you and the killer.
- It lets you dodge attacks by phasing through the killer.
That is a lot of things that just one perk enables you to do. That is the problem with this perk, it is just ONE perk. The value you can get from compared to what you are giving up makes it a no brainer to use. So how do you fix it? Simple. You just split the perk. Make one perk that is based around Use 1 and 2, and make another perk that is based around Use 3.
Overall, the perk is not overpowered, it just needs to have a higher opportunity cost to make other perks more worth running.
I just hate that survivors can play a loop perfectly meaning there's nothing as a killer you can do but if they make one mistake then dh just fixes it. I'm alright with them using it to make it to places because then I still have a decision, mindgame etc. So I think they should make it less of second chance perk and more of a took to reach pallets. It shouldn't give invincibility imo

Discordance didn't need a nerf in the first place no one was asking for it. All people wanted was shorter times of the yellow aura to make it better.

And Otz and scott seem to both agree that spirit needs more counterplay. (and its not only them)
So its more like instead of "almost everybody" its more like 'people with empathy'
So just cause content creators think it's good means it must be? I love scotts videos but I do not like the spirit nerf idea it would be way to big of a nerf.

If the survivors play well which for me is most of them then I look at how I can play better. However when I go against a swf looping every loop effectively and doing gens at good rate then i don't because i don't really think there's much a killer can do against a good team that plays off each other. But I can't ask the devs to change it up a bit because it would hurt solo que which is what I play. It's a pain really. But what can you do? If I play well but four other survivors play well to there's not much I can do. So I'll usually change up my perks or even killer if i see something in my build underperforming.

Hello everyone, I open this due to a question that has arisen due to the new event "Hallowed Bounty", who who does not know is an event where basically if you win you can win 1000 auric cells a week for 1 year, the recent dlc the game, among other prizes, but to participate "the Sweepstakes are open only to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec), France, Germany, , Philippines, United Kingdom and United States, who have reached the age of majority in their province/territory of residence or older at the time of their participation" that is, if you do not belong to one of these sites you could not participate, my question is why? Because only a certain site, and not all that have acquired the game, I understand that since they are the creators of the game they have all the right to decide who can participate in the event, but I still think that it is totally unfair to the people who They bought it and they do not belong to those specific regions, before finishing I would like to clarify that this is not to criticize the decision but to know why. Greetings to all and thanks for taking the time to read this.
Edit: I have added the other countries that I have skipped.
I think it's great and I've entered but they still think it's okay to charge for the base game, battle pass, dlcs, and skins but not have a good quality game. It's still a very consumer unfriendly game.

I don’t know what kind of stats you devs use to determine which side needs to be reworked. But as far as I can see based on my experience playing both sides I find that I have a way easier time playing killer than I do survivor. It seems my teammates get ran on consistently and I barely make it out once every 4/5 games. I think some of these maps are too small for many of the killers’ speed/abilities, lack of decent hiding, poor pallet placements, and vaults can be too easily walked around due to the fact that walls are never long enough to make a difference. When I play killer I do not really have a hard time getting at least 2 kills every game. But the majority of the time it is 3-4 per match. Survivors have to work hard for very little reward and killers easily reap in way too many points. It is a little stressful at times dealing with the good survivors. But the hiding spots are just becoming too obvious that I don’t really get fooled. I think the hardest part is dealing with the 360s. But why do survivors have to do that to get a chase to last longer? The game should naturally have stuff in it that prolongs a chase. It’s too easy to down, hook and kill. Especially when you consider the add ons and Mori’s. It’s pretty bad. I understand as a survivor you are 1 of 4 you’re not meant to 1v1 the killer. But you should definitely think about fixing some things so they can have a better chance at not going down. Killers have too much regression on survivor objectives to keep up with the rate that killers do their objectives. I do it all the time. Pop is OP 😂
Okay look take it from someone whose played This game since it came to console. As you play more you will realise what a lot of people are commenting on here are true. Killers are not op. No where near in fact. Even if it seems like it now for you. They are not. Right now a lot of killers are actually quite weak or broken because of the recent patch and it's not exactly getting better. I'm not saying your a bad survivor. Far from that. But I will see you really should change the title of your post. You're gonna get tons of hate and I don't want that to scare you away from the community.
But you do sound quite new which although isn't a bad thing it means you don't fully understand the killer/survivor dynamic. Seriously watch some YouTube vids on it and you'll see just how weak killers can seem.
But by using the title that you have you sound whiney and like a baby survivor to a lot of people and that's gonna invalidate your argument for most people. So just mind your wording yeah? And try and get the full experience before making such an extreme claim. Hopefully this doesn't sound too condescending. Lol
-
Well I agree with most of your post but like don't lump it on the killers side. Take your half of the blame to. Both survivors and killer players can act exactly like this. Heck more survivors do purely because you get four survivors pair game. And there are more survivor players in general. So therefore logically there would be more toxic survivors. But either way it's crap on both sides. Stop. It.
Killers can use noed. Killers can use mori's. Okay?
Survivors can use ds and unbreakable they can use a key or mount ormond offerings. Or OoO.
Yeah these perks and offerings are not balanced but it's just a game. Your better suited directing your annoyance at the devs. Their the ones allowing this gameplay and quality of the game to slip. EVEN THOUGH they include four methods of obtaining money were literally fortnite of all games only has two being the battle pass and skins. AND arguably has better quality skins and more battle pass stuff then dbd. Yet they charge the same. Seriously like #########.

Use common sense and human decency? For a change?
Look, there are killers where Noed is alright. Wraith, for example.
But on Bubba? Michael? Ghostface? Running Noed on them, or in combo with an iri insta-down on any killer with an 'easy' on (huntress, clown) is nothing more than saying that you don't know how to play the killer, yet want to pretend you mastered them.
If we are gonna bring in iri head hatches into it. Then yeah that is a crapoy thing to do especially with noed. But if you think that's a common occurrence then you just got terrible luck.
As for common sense and human decency. Your expecting that from a players of a game were money spending is priority in the devs eyes instead of fun. To which their our countless examples.
And lastly That's YOUR opinion. You think noed is op. And your entitled to your opinion. In my opinion as a survivor and a killer noed whilst it can be good, I hardly see it and it's very easy to stop just by cleansing totems. Which let's face it aren't exactly hidden. It's a hex perk. They are meant to be high risk, high reward. And I think it does that. It punishes players who rush gens instead of looking for totems as well.
And like any perk they can be used with any killer. You cannot control how people play and what they choose to use. Same with survivors.
So I think it would be more effective taking it to the devs rather than the players. Although I doubt they'll do anything about it. Kinda just gotten use to it now.
-
Boop the snout?
I honestly don't know. I just really hope they don't ignore changing pig cuz of this. She really isn't any good.
In most situations anyway.
-
Well no. If people bring bp add ons I will not farm. It's not fun. And it's not what were here to play the game for. So having a go at people for that is stupid.
But when it comes to scummy plays I find it more to be on the survivors side. Killers can use noed. Like I'm sorry but it's a perk in a game that people can choose to use there's nothing you can do about it except cleanse totems which take a minuscule amount of time. As for killers camping and tunneling. I understand it happening in end game. To confirm a kill. Heck I even understand that sometimes you get gen rushed and need to get rid of someone. It's a fair tactic. You don't say Oh well I'm not gonna do this gen because I feel bad for the killer, because it's your task, same thing for the killer. It sucks to get tunneled but it also sucks to get teabagged and flashlight spammed.
However camping just for the sake of camping is unfun. So I agree with you their. I just find more often then not survivors earn being camped by doing toxic things to annoy the killer. It's rare to see a killer full on camp someone mid game because it's a very bad tactic unlike tunneling. If you do against a camper just do gens. It sucks but it's always been this way and probably always will.
But what can we do?

The fact that Freddy has a relatively low pick rate but a SIGNIFICANTLY higher kill rate should be a major red flag to BHVR that he is too strong.
IDC what you want to say about Nurse or Spirit, but Freddy is objectively one of if not the strongest killers in the game and there are multiple reasons for it.
I must preface this with...
- I was an old Freddy main at rank 1. I played him without Ruin or NOED and was still quite effective with him. However I would acknowledge that he was, at the time, the weakest killer in the game.
- I play new Freddy regularly at rank 1 and I find him to be hands down the most oppressive killer to play. Consistently. Like I win games regularly with 3 or more gens left, AND I rarely have to camp or tunnel.
So why is Freddy so strong?
First is his teleport. He has the best map pressure in the game because he can instantly go to the gen you are working on. No other killer can do this, save for Demo and Hag but they have to set up first which greatly reduces their pressure. Every single gen slowing or gen tracking perk is borderline God tier on Freddy. BBQ, DIscordance, Surveillance, Tinkerer, Thana, Ruin, Pop (especially Pop). Yes these are good perks for many killers, but on Freddy they become exponentially more powerful.
Second is his snares. He has an anti-chase that is very similar to Clown. Say what you want about Clown, but a good Clown will catch you CRAZY fast. Freddy is just a slightly weaker Clown in this aspect, as he can't plant a puddle in front of you during a chase. It is damn near impossible to run a good Freddy for very long around most loops just as it can be a good Clown. This is a minor issue however.
Third is Dream World, or rather the fact it automatically gets Oblivious. This means that he gets a free BT counter, or any perk requiring a terror radius. Sure this hurts him too, but the perks he can't use aren't that great anyway (Unnerving, Insidious??? LOL). Infectious is probably the only TR perk that is good, but guess what? IT STILL WORKS FOR HIM! Yep try it, Infectious will make dreaming survivors scream. Oblivious doesn't stop that for some reason but it negates a lot of good survivor perks.
Fourth is stealth. He has built in semi-stealth due to him being INVISIBLE to awake survivors outside his TR and even sometimes in his TR. This means he can get really close to you while awake without you having a reasonable way to react. He is basically a Wraith.
Finally, he is the ONLY killer in the game with add-ons that affect gen speeds. This is the big one. He has 3 add-ons that do this, and while they were nerfed that is not good enough. They shouldn't exist, period. Don't get me wrong, at first I loved them because my main tactic with old Freddy was to use range add-ons and tracking perks like Surveillance and Nurse's to permanently keep survivors asleep for that sweet 50% action penalty. It was a strong tactic, however since I had to put them to sleep myself it was fair since I had to be active to get that reward. But now you just fall asleep in 60 seconds OR when he hits you. You are going to be asleep more than 50% of the game easily, and usually without any action on the killer's part. Basically he just gets this stuff for free by equipping an add-on.
Let's summarize... Freddy is basically a combination of Hag, Wraith, and Clown with built in BT counter and passive slow down that no other killer has access too.
My entire point here is that Freddy just has WAY WAY too much in his base kit, and that is why he has such a significantly higher kill rate compared to other killers. You can say "don't draw conclusions from data alone" remember that I told you I play new Freddy at rank 1 and my experience is that he is oppressive. Furthermore, as survivor, a good Freddy with a strong slow down build is one of the most difficult killers to beat. Literally your only chance against a killer like this is to run in a 4 man SWF, which anyone who plays this game could tell you is already broken, but I digress.
So what is the solution? How do we fix this? I'm not just making this post to complain, I'm making it to offer a suggestion. Now I have been writing down my ideas for changes to Dead By Daylight I would like to see that I believe would improve the game. It's a lot, I will just copy and paste what I wrote for Freddy. Let's take a look...
NIGHTMARE
- Survivors no longer passively fall asleep at the start of the game and do not see the sleep clock until they are hit and put into the Dream State at least once.
- Dream Snare radius reduced by 20%.
- Oblivious removed from Dream World.
- Nightmare can be always seen by awake survivors within 32m.
- Remove stacking penalty on Snap Clap wake up action.
- Cat Block, Z Block, Pill Bottle, Paint Thinner, Outdoor Rope, Jump Rope, and Swing Chains reworked.
- Cat Block inflicts Haemorrhage on sleeping survivors. Healthy survivors that are asleep will bleed.
- Z Block inflicts Mangled on injured survivors that are asleep and blocks the aura of their dream clock outside of 32m.
- Pill Bottle makes the Nightmare; disappear intermittently to awake survivors; invisible to sleeping survivors outside of 32m.
- Paint Thinner reveals the survivor's aura for 4 seconds upon falling asleep.
- Outdoor Rope greatly increases interaction time for each successive Snap Clap.
- Jump Rope causes the survivor's dream clock to move to a new location every 30 seconds.
- Swing Chains causes Dream World to inflict the Oblivious status effect.
- Garden Rake and Prototype Claws Dream Tokens reduced to 8.
- Prototype Claws aura reading removed. Prototype Claws inflict Hindered for 10 seconds on survivors that interact with Dream Pallets.
- Kid's Drawing adds 5 Dream Tokens.
So let's unpack this.
The first line is actually a slight nerf and buff to Freddy, as one of his only drawbacks is that you KNOW it's a Freddy right when the game starts. This would give some leeway at the start of the game for survivors, and also give Freddy more element of surprise opportunities. Though of course once he hits someone they would see, but the point is he would have a bit more spook at the start. Once you hit them the clock appears and it functions as normal.
Making Dream Snares smaller means it would take better planning in their use. I feel like I can just spam them without care and they do more than what I need them to do. At least require me to use to skill here.
Next. we basically take away all the "fluff" from Freddy's base kit. The goal is to shift most of them to his add-ons. Pill Bottle is a bad add-on IMO, it does nothing for him. This new version would do something for him. Notice how for most of these things while I offer to take away something from his base kit and move it to an add-on, I'm actually buffing it in the process because it now requires an add-on and therefore can be a tad better.
This all opens up new builds for Freddy. I enjoy add-ons that change how a killer functions over straight up making something they do faster or stronger. It leads to more interesting emergent gameplay.
The dream pallet add-ons I feel are redundant. You don't need 3 of them, hell 1 is enough. So let's take Paint Thinner and do something else with it, what I suggest is reminiscent of old Freddy and I would enjoy this as both killer and survivor. I only kept 2 dream pallet add-ons because I honestly couldn't think of another thing for Claws to do.
All the slow down add-ons are gone and in it's place are add-ons that are still really good but not stupid to play against. Giving Oblivious in Dream World as an add-on is acceptable. Base kit it is not.
Finally we make his lame BP add-on a bit better. This is just to offset the fact his snares just got worse.
These are just my suggestions, obviously they won't be implemented but something like this would be a good change for Freddy. If you guys have suggestions you are free to put them here.
Be aware I'm not looking to argue with anyone about whether Freddy is too strong or not. He very much is and the chart above confirms it. We need to discuss ways to fix this.
Okay just gonna say right off the bat I agree freddy atm is too strong. However I think the nerfs you list out for him are to overly complicated and unnecessary. Here's what I mean. When I or many survivors go up against a decent freddy my first thought isn't Oh god it's freddy, it's more like Oh God I bet hes got such and such add ons. Cuz he has the best addons in the game.
Said add ons are what make freddy that little bit too op imo. Yeah he's pretty good with his base kit. But I think that's exactly how a killer should be. They don't rely on addons, and can feel like and oppressive force. It is a proper game of cat and mouse.
He's one of the only intimidating killers in the game and I think more killers should have decent Mao pressure. As for his snares whilst I agree their good their only as good as their user and I hardly ever see them used well, same with dream pallets. I also find them quite easy to avoid a lot of the time once you know he has them.
Anyway my solution to the problem is to do your suggested add ons. I think.they make sense and are quite responsible, in fact I'd say make some more interesting add ons that offer different ways to play freddy that will keep him from becoming stale.
However I do strongly disagree that his base kit is op. If anything id say it's mostly balanced and killers should be more of a threat like freddy. The gen and map pressure he and other killers should provide could help stop gens from appearing to be rushed. That or give the survivors a second objective That's fun.
-
Can we highlight that CONSOLE FRAME RATE one plz. I know it's terrible on ps4 but I'm on xbox and half the killers I have I can't play because of sheer frame rate drops on new maps and with them themselves. I'm so close to uninstalling this game. ######### am I suppose to do? I can't do my killer challenges because the killers are broken. Played 5 games of blight and I was literally unable to use my power and when it did bloody activate I'd go backwards!! And I know it's not just me and my internet because I'm watching survivors teleport around when I'm somewhat stable. No wonder this game lost 9000 of its players in the last 30 days. The quality is in the dumpster. God I wish I was on pc. How u guys doing in terms of bugs anyway?

No, I don't. Let me repeat, the company isn't the enemy, and they do things based on costs and labor that you and I don't see. They triage their resources and set priorities based on what they think is better for the long term health of the game. The long term health of the game is far more important to them, than it is to you and I. For us, there is always another game. For them, this might be their Swan Song. That is the hard truth for all companies whose product is an online game.
Do I think they made the right call? No. Halloween should probably always be a flagship event for them and a loss leader. You will get no disagreement from me on that. That being said, I don't think they should have been demonized and virtually tarred and feathered over their choice. Lumping them in with companies who truly do take advantage of their community was unfair (and i continues to be so) when they are extremely progressive. I sometimes wonder about the people who play and post here, I think their frames of reference must be very narrow indeed. This company is downright nice compared to most.
If I were to guess (always a dangerous thing) they have spread themselves thin (they are not a huge company with an army of coders) working on graphical updates to maps. They work on bugs behind the screens. Everyone assumes they are huge, which simply isn't true. They put the priority for the game as working on graphical updates to maps, and clearly feel they need a face lift in graphics to continue to compete in the market. That clearly has been a priority. Maps are and updating existing ones takes a huge amount of effort. The timing of their testing and release of several new maps conflicts with having a big Halloween event is very telling.
We have unrealistic and unreasonable expectations. We are Dudley from Harry Potter. That is the long and the short of it. They will address things, and I firmly believe there was always going to be more things dropping as this event went on. But if we continue to treat them like a horrible company, they will start to truly act like one. We will only have ourselves to blame.
Tbh I agree with on some points you've made. I do not support anyone who wants to verbally abuse the devs. In fact I'm throughly against that. And that is not what I do. I also agree with you that we take the kindness from the devs for granted. The people that I see in the dev livestreams I like. I honestly do. But it's when things that happen in the game or around said game don't reflect the kind image the company gives off is when I have a problem. For example. Last years Halloween event. Now I don't expect you to know what happened because I don't know how long you've been playing but last Halloween a similar thing happened to what is happening now. Unlike the first blight event the amount of free skins had been cut. This obviously isn't good and after much backlash and respectful disagreement they changed it to the way it should have been. Now back then I was fine with this. Because yeah it was a mistake and that happens but the fact is when that happened there weren't graphical updates or massive things happening to excuse that very unethical decision. So that itself is reason why this should not have happened this year. In fact I'd argue that having a quality event should have been priority after last years fiasco if not to please consumers but to up hold their admittedly positive reputation. I want to see this game succeed. I love this game I'm a huge fan but the fact is new fans are actively being turned away from the game purely because of the lack of quality in places and this poor Halloween event which as you said probably should be better considering it's a horror game.
But I find the excuse, they don't have enough resources or their focused on something else somewhat flimsy when you see the sane thing happening last year as well. Plus you must also see that the quality of Halloween skins is as always very damn good. But that shows itself the effort was their but it was lacking.
I'm extremely happy to see that they Hopefully will try and redeem this event. But with a somewhat poor track record in the past and a basic lack of effort put into the biggest event for the game their probably is. You can see why people are angry.
I'm grateful that they are changing things but I'm not grateful that they've seemingly ignored last years events and done the bare minimum again.
I do think the company is one of the nicest companies out there. By miles in fact. But I see them slipping down the rabit whole of greed and laziness that awful companies today show and I very much want dbd and behaviour as a whole to avoid that fate. And I don't think positive comments and buying up every skin they shove out is helping. It hasn't in the past and it isn't now.
I do think people have high standards. Maybe too high. But this game is competing with every other game in 2020. Standards from players are gonna get higher and that won't stop. Dbd needs to keep up. They are no longer a small indie company. They are now in the big league in a way and they have to bring their a game. They make a lot more money then I you believe they do i think. I know it's at least millions. And if that could be put towards making the game better it should.
We shouldn't demonize them I agree. But I will jump up and down on those stairs if it means they put more effort into events. Do things I know they're capable of that space coconut knows their capable of. That we all know they are capable of.
However I agree we should demand for more presents...IF the presents we already have our at a good standard. Which this years event was not.

Actually, you can and you should let it go. Be grateful they even listen; many companies do not. Continuing to dump on them demonstrates being even more ungrateful and will give them this thought: "If I'm going to do the time, I might as well do the crime." Do you see my point. The company isn't the enemy, and treating them like one is a horrible precedent. It simply means they are less likely to listen to you going forward. Companies are made up of people who make hard choices. We will never be privy to the reasons they make them. I think it is unwise to make too many assumptions or to ascribe motives to them.
But as currently demonstrated through the failure of the Halloween event and last Halloween event where we had to ask for them to bring back three skins don't YOU think that they should learn from their mistakes. Sure I agree that people shouldn't crap on the devs constantly with baseless accusations but a lot of thing space and lots of people say about the devs are true if not outright based on facts.
I do actually feel sorry sometimes for the devs. I get it. Getting constant backlash must be crap on your mental health to say the least. But censoring viewpoints is where I draw the line.
Yes I'm grateful for this game. I love horror. But no. I am not gonna just let crap go and be grateful that we get basic things from a company clearly letting standards drop.
Yeah their are worse people out their. (EA). But that's exactly why we need to call behaviour out when their wrong so they don't fall into that trap of being driven by greed and cash grabs.
I want the game to succeed and get better but by your way of thinking we would still have infinite loops. No end game collapse. Ridiculous map sizes. Omega nurse. Legion as he was when first came out. Pallet vacuums and much more.
Why should we be grateful for them "listening" when it takes waves upon waves of backlash to get a single damn change. If we didn't do this we'd be no where in terms of balance and quality game play.
I respectfully disagree with your opinion.
-
We can't let this crap go on. So basically every time they screw something simple up we have to rage about it until they "hear" us. Maybe if they listened in the first place we wouldn't have to? Do they ever learn from the mistakes. Btw go check out space coconut on YouTube hes literally fighting for a better game like we are now but dbd have tried to censor him by banning him from here. The King has also falsely had a video of his taken down for copyright. This itself is breaking strict guidelines. The video in question was just about this. What we were discussing now. If we support him we might be able to have a bigger voice we dbd devs try to mess us around in the future which lets face it with their track record they will.

They didn't need to repair this "event" / listen to the community in the first place if they didn't release a sh*t event to begin with.
Who in their right mind was content with how it is now, when an event like halloween is a big thing in a HORROR game. It's a great chance to shine as a HORROR game during this period of the year. The person who made that decision should be fired, imo.
Can we get you hired on dbd? At least you understand the fact the game is HORROR and that Halloween is an important time for the game. Whereas as the devs just don't. Remember last year? They tried to pull similar crap.

I have not had much of a chance to really follow DBD much recently. Someone wanna explain to me what's wrong with this year's halloween event? It really seems like people are rather upset with this one in particular.
Basically the event itself unlike the previous Halloween events are now not offering the usual free cosmetics instead they are all locked behind a pay wall. Which in itself is stupid but then they're giving out free charms. As if that's an okay alternative. One of which you can only get from some dbd content creators. Which is ok until you realise pc players can literally copy and paste the required codes and type fast where as console players have to somehow manage to type very long codes in before pc players. They're also introducing a universal killer add on but unlike the survivors universal add on you can't use past the event which is extremely unfair. The rift is another thing. People, myself included think that this rift is extremely poor in quality and is just cash grab like the Halloween skins. That's about it but yeah dbd have screwed up pretty bad...again.
-
For all the people complaining about this just try and understand. Playing on coms is always gonna make your team do better rather then not using coms. That sharing of information and organisation can beat any killer if done right. On the other side of the coin. Yeah it's really fun playing with my mates I don't want it to be deleted but unlike everyone else crying at the idea of swfs being nerfed I get why it's a really good idea. Yeah not all swfs are awful to go against by that is such a minority that I think they should be nerfed regardless or give killers some sort of advantage when going against them. Yeah it would make it a little harder when in a swf but consider all the advantages you get from it, it's just making the game fairer. Of course everyone's entailed to their own opinion but god some of you have your heads buried in the sand.

Now I love Otz don't get me wrong on that aspect but I feel like the balance patch misses the mark on three aspects.
DS
Decisive strike being deactivated when on a generator or in a locker does it really defeat the main annoyance of decisive.
In fact at least in my opinion the locker tech on decisive strike was always the least irritating.
The 3 most annoying aspects that decisive strike brought were.
1) survivors being able to do objective totems and healing whilst still being under the protection ( generators is one of the suggested aspects to deactivate decisive but totems and healing still remain) if you're safe enough to heal somebody or do a totem you're not really being tunneled
2) The fact that you could still Hook other survivors but still get hit with decisive strike. It's really annoying that you could potentially be punished for downing people to efficiently
3) small pp build this point has been beaten to death I just need to mention it the thing not really explaining.
Noed
As for Noed I think it's kind of stupid to lock something that's already conditional behind more conditions.
Noed already relies on endgame and an available dull totem otem making it also rely on tokens is kind of stupid.
If you're going to make it rely on two conditions then you are definitely going to have the buff the perk up a lot more than it already is.
Balancing a condition on a condition on a restriction is one of the main reasons why furtive chase is such a bad perk.
I really don't think doing a hex version of that is a smart idea.
Undying
This is typically a gamble hex perk it can either work as insurance for your other hexes or it could be destroyed first and be useless. I think the idea of the transferred hex being removed once Undying is destroyed is bad
Honestly the only thing I really think needs to be changed about this perk is the Aura Reading to be transfer to something like thrill of the hunt instead.
Turn thrill of the hunt into the ultimate total defender you see people's Aura and they cleanse it slower.
Let Undying remain as an insurance perk. Both Undying and thrill of the hunt will protect totems.
Thrill of the hunt could be used if you want to actively defend your totem whilst Undying is a gamble but it will give you a passive protection that you don't really have to influence
Yh I agree with you on ds. Their should be more things that de activate it. Such as totems or healing or unhooking. Cuz if you're doing objectives then you can't be tunneled.
As for noed. I know your gonna get tons of survivors whining about how op it is and how unfun but I think it's fine. Hex perks are meant to be like that. Yes it's a high reward but it's also a high risk as if it's cleansed it's gone and that's huge losing a whole perk. Also you already need to have at least one dull totem remaining and it survivors do the totems that they see then you probably won't get long to use it or probably won't get to use it at all.
Undying is fine. Honestly if anyone thinks this perk is op just give up now you must be that bad. Sorry but like yeah it's good. Yeah it has synergy but yet again it's high risk high reward. It that it's cleansed it's gone. Yea it's good but honestly making survivors cleanse multiplies totems isn't that big if you really think about it. Just don't touch this perk.

Nobody says you have to! The pass is just there if people want extra content. Nobody is going to ask you to pay for it. If the game itself got stale, then nobody asks you to play that either.
On no I'm not saying I'm being forced to lol. I'm just saying I Normally do them but for this one I just felt it to be really grindr so I kinda stopped. Just giving my thought on it.

Sounds like he was just as inexperienced as that meg. But oh well what can you do? I certainly don't think you should have had a pop back at him. Be the bigger person and that. But yeah there's survivors and killers like that in this game.

What I did this Tome is I played constantly until I finished all challenges in a level, waited for the next level to come out, repeated this process up until I got to level 69, all while I haven't even completed ALL of the Level 4 challenges (I still have one left, to this day). Then, once I reached Level 70 through simply playing, I bought Auric Cells and bought the Rift, because I had reached it's max level.
The Rift doesn't give a progress boost if you buy the Rift pass beforehand, kind of like other Battle Passes do in other games. You progress regularly (which is kinda sad, but it's true and it's also somewhat better). Buying the pass beforehand means you're going to have to force yourself to play, which is seriously sad.
Trust me, it's better this way, rather than to sulk about not being able to reach Level 70 before the Rift ended.
Tbh haven't really felt like playing throughout this pass. The game kinda got really stale for me.

I'll preface with this: this was a while ago and I didn't reply to them. Rolled my eyes, deleted the message, life goes on. I was also a bit wary of posting this since many people feel they need to defend themselves as if I am making an accusation or "woe is me" type post. I do not know life differently, it's not something I see a negative as much as just life. I am not posting this for sympathy, nor am I accusing anyone of doing these things. Some may also think I'm lying, since I deleted the message because I don't care what some random toxic survivor thinks of me. I have no reason to lie, but this is the internet, so you should be taking things with a grain of salt anyways.
Yes, I am. I was born with a disability that severely impacts my motor function. And it took me more than a decade of extremely nuanced OT to be able to even properly hold a PS4 controller.
I am very disabled when it comes to manual dexterity and motor function. Always have been, I was born with it. I am 19 years old and it takes me 2 minutes to tie one of my shoes. I couldn't play anything more difficult than Pokemon as a child. It took about a decade of specialised therapy to be able to do what can now. Taunt me all you want, I'm just happy I can actually play the game from a physical standpoint.
But I'm not the only bad killer who gets taunted for being bad. And I'm not the only disabled person playing the game. It doesn't bother me on a personal level because I am just happy that I can play, but it very much bothers me that people feel like they can go around saying these things.
I'm not accusing anybody of anything, of course, I will always give the benefit of the doubt.
I just think it's important to know that there are people who are fully okay with saying these things over a VIDEO GAME. If this person met me irl they wouldn't know I had a disability because I've learned to live with it in a way that lessens the burden on me, and makes me look more normal.
In the end though what does it matter? This person has the audacity to say these things, my life goes on and I'm the one using government funds to buy more DLC.
(But also...please don't do this)
I'm so sorry you met those kind of people. Unfortunately dbd has a real problem with toxicity especially among survivors. I get hate messages literally every other match. But all we can do is report it and try be the bigger person. I've been called racist slurs, homophobic comments and I've been called disabled. I'm saying oh poor me cuz I know those types of people are just really really stupid. I am gay and proud of it but those Homophobic slurs do kinda hurt. Unfortunately it's just how it goes but I don't want to switch of the message cuz it's nice getting the odd gg from a survivor or killer. I like discussion post game.
Hope you encounter less idoits

Exclusively Solo Survivor, I only see camping when it comes to protecting a kill in the endgame, which is the strategy and makes sense. Haven't seen any issues like face camping in early game, or at all really. Maybe I'm lucky.
Not often I get "tunnelled", but when I do it's typically by a good killer who has properly identified me as the weakest looper (which helps you work on looping skills).
Tunneling isn't a problem if you can loop, and a true camper is a rare occurence mostly caused by: unsafe unhooks by dummies, mistaken pathing after an unhook, or least of all by a salty killer that couldn't catch you for multiple gens (which is WAY less prevalent than salty survivors).
Same tbh

That’s like every game. They may not always face camp. But they do Proxy Camp. Always some form of camping. As soon as you get off the hook the killer comes back. Quite honestly it’s almost too easy for killers to 3-4K every game unless survivors REALLY work together. Solo survivor you rarely get to escape. It’s funny to come on here and look at Killer players complain about nonsense like gen speed or DS or a key. Killers are actually the OP ones right now. So there’s no need to camp but people still do. I usually let the survivors get the hook rescues and it’s still really easy without camping of any kind. I think face camping will cause you to lose. But proxy camping is just a cheap way to play as a killer however quite effective. They need to spread out gens and hooks a bit more
But you do realise the same arguement can be made right back by killers? No one side is to blame. And killers don't camp every round or as you say proxy camp. If That's like every round there's no way survivors wouldn't be raging about it every chance they get. But they don't only some people say silly things like oh I get them every round. You don't. No one is that unlucky. Proxy camping yes can be annoying and yea can be a legitimate strategy for certain killers but it's also very easy to counter.

Maybe I've just been lucky, but I play survivor just as much as killer but I rarely ever see a killer actually properly do either of these things. Like maybe once or twice a month I'll come across one.
I know there's quite a few people on here that claim they get it constantly and say it's the biggest problem with the game right now and I honestly wonder if it is really that bad for some people.
Tbf some people's definition of what camping and tunnelling is can be very broad so I do take these claims with a grain of salt
Yh I have the same sort of experience. I rarely get camped or funneled unless someone like unsafe unhooks me which honestly is less on the killer and more the survivor for being extremely stupid. However when I play killer which I'd say is less then survivor I get a toxic survivor at least everywhere other match if not a full toxic swf. That and hate messages to like go ######### or racist, homophobic etc. This makes me wonder if the survivors on here who say like 8 out 10 games they get face camped or tunneled are either very over dramatic and don't know what counts as these 2 things. Or they play really toxic like. Spamming flashlights. Tbagging etc. Which in that case you deserve being tunneled or camped. If you're gonna be a toxic survivor don't expect killers to be really nice to you.
On the topic of messages I can say without a doubt I've only ever received one offensive message from a killer. Maybe even non my memories slightly fuzzy on it but I believe it was to do with him thinking we were in a swf which I was not and he got bad matchmaking. The rest are ggs and discussion. Whereas survivors I can play as fair or "fun" for the survivor and still get entire swf bombarding me with toxic messages.
Maybe this is because we go against 4 survivors and not 1 so therefore we are bound to meet more toxic survivors just due to the numbers. But I don't really believe that is the main reason.
I have honestly come to believe that there is just a lot more toxic survivors which considering more people play survivor like me makes sense. But I've almost given up with this game.
Sorry if it feels like I'm ranting. I want to play this game but it's repetitive at times.

This is really accurate. I love all the toxic morons complaining about this saying that they're not even gonna read it. That kind of bone idle stupidity is what really destroys progress whether that be improving a game or gaming community. If we don't listen to each this game will never ever come close to being balanced or even some form of balanced.
