I simply do not find any of them scary in any way. Movies and games are never scary for me I don't know why. I have respect for Oni because he is powerful and loud.
-
Solo I'm 43 yrs in two months and most of my friends are 45-55 so they are too old for this kind of game they say. I simply have to play solo.
-
I like this perk because if I play killer and survivors bring key, medkits etc then I use it. When I play survivor it can be really annoying if I have a medkit with addons for two heals and no Inner Strength or Bond, a bit of a blow for my gameplan but hey..it's a game ๐
-
The day a balanced killer comes I will name drop.
-
Because of new chapters with new, killer, survivor, perks, maps etc that always comes with new bugs also.
-
Devotion 12 level 71. Started playing 13 months ago so more or less 1 devotion per month ๐
-
Do gens as much as you can and you will be a good teammate. Do not waste time using Self-Care half the game.
-
Midwich Elementary and Dead Dawg Saloon for me also. I have loved the western theme since mid 80s watching Charles Bronson and Clint Eastwood movies so Dead Dawg will probably always be my favourite map.

If a killer needs to camp what does that say about the killer ๐ they don't even chase if you run by them it is a pain in the arse
It does not say anything about the killer. I have been rank 1 and just tired of stress wanting a laid back game once in a while and simply camped. It's also a good way to derank if you get tired of stressful games in red ranks. It's not about being good or bad it's just a playstyle and believe it or not it can give you a lot of kills with the right build and strategy. Many survivors forget to gen rush a camping killer, or do not think about Noed that ends with the remaning survivors slugged before they can open exit gate. You can say that it's not fun but the killer does not have to be a bad player.
I mostly play survivor and very seldom see camping killers in red ranks. But when it happens you just have to adapt. I like that all games are not similar. In low ranks I can understand if most killers is camping that it can get boring. I felt that when I was a new player.
-
Not fun always perhaps but this game needs diversity. To start the game and go to a gen not knowing if you soon will hear a TR or if killer is very close, that is the fun part of the game.
-
Oni was related to Spirit yes? This killer could be Hags mum.
-
Yeah this game will be dead by daylight.

Buy Plague she is fun and got very good perks.
Yes it's not even anything to think about really.
-
"if you're not good enough to play"
If you can't even deal with camping, then you are not good enough to play.
-
New to consoles? I play on Xbox and have no problem with PC survivors they are not very good at all.
-
Both but mostly survivor.
-
@JawsIsTheNextKiller said:
Yes. Ensure you stand and watch that survivor until they hit struggle if they do this and fail the unhook (yes, I said camp as a survivor).
I want to do this, but are we sure this is not bannable?
-
Wendigo! That perhaps can lay out traps that can get you hanging in a tree, which is like going straight on the hook. But she can only lay three of these traps on the map. The rest of her power is being able to jump up straight on more or less anything, or jumping forward a bit like a Demo shread. Yeah I'm gonna sit in a tree near a gen and scare the survivors jumping down, going to be fun!
-
That is his power and he have nothing else, so he is mediocre at best.
-
Survivor: 9/10
Killer: 8/10
-
Corrupt intervention is a must on Trapper for me, so I'm a bit surprised that many have builds for him here without that perk. The other three perks you play around with but STBFL is always good. The new "meta" Ruin and Undying could be the other two. Me I often run Corrupt, STBFL, Discordance and then the forth perk differs but most of the time BBQ for bloodpoints.
-
Find a standard answer like "you kids should not play grown up game. Bye!" or something then report and leave. Or don't even watch what is written after a game. On Xbox you can block all messages and play how you want without ever hearing a complain.
-
I agree it is too stressful. I like to derank to 7 or 8 then it's fun again. I'm on console so lower framerate and stuff does not help in red ranks.
-
Took a flashlight with me in to the game but found a medkit in chest. This I did forget somehow so I tried to flashlight save a survivor with medkit in hand. That was pretty stupid.
-
Yeah remove it the game needs to be a bit nice more like Super Mario Bros..or just no!
-
Sounds like neither you or the survivors were toxic really. Different kind of game though when all survivors bring a flashlight.
But if you could see four flashlights in lobby why not bring Lightborn? Or at least Franklins.
-
I think Trapper has waited long enough for a built in brown bag, or something.
-
I don't know how seizures triggering works but if flashlights is a risk is not the Doctors static blast about the same thing?
-
Because it's a good t-bagging counter.
-
The hooked survivor might get to stage 2, killer might down a survivor trying to rescue, survivors leaves gens. I think what they call "proxy" camping is more effective than facecamping because FC will get more survivors to just do gens, which they should. The proxy camping will get survivors to think they can sneek to hook unseen, and they rarely can.

"I'm face camper and I'm proud" your funeral you're missing whole point and fun of game but you do you I guess
What is fun or non stressful or whatever is up to everyone to decide. People can play the game how they want.
Me I never start a game thinking I will camp in any way, but if the survivors are really annoying t-baggers or I lose control over gen rush thinking it will be a four man escape I can change my gameplan and start proxy camping. Pretty often it does help. I think it's a bit like a football (soccer for americans) game sometimes your gamplan has failed and you need to change something.

I don't have a build for camping. As I said camping is NEVER my main objective, but lately I've come to realise I'm forced to camp in 75% of games, sadly. When I play the basement trapper that I explained before, of course, agitation and iron grasp are mandatory. About lightborn, it's become completely meta for me. It's amazing how this bully teams try to flashlight and when they see they can't they keep trying without moving and inch while must be thinking "no, it's not possible, what happened?" and then they get hit
Ok yes I can understand that. So Lightborn, Agitation, Iron Grasp on Trapper what is the fourth perk? NOED since they will just gen rush should be a very strong camping build.
So if you play Trapper do you start the game by collecting traps and put a couple close to basement? So traps are close by when you need them?
-
Sure sometimes when I'm tired of running around vs a sweaty team I "proxy" camp, but just facecamping is kinda boring.
Do you have a Facecamping perk build? Perks that is well suited for this? I guess Lightborn could be good since they might try flashlights to distract you?
-
No way! They should remove it on PC instead. No reason at all to talk after a game since the game is over. Just move on to the next game.

Does anyone have tips for Clown? I just got him and Iโm not sure what perks/addons to use.
Also, the Clown DLC is free right now if you have game pass.
For addons the Solvent Jug is really good for a yellow addon, pair it up with Flask of Bleach and you have a really good combo. Survivors run even slower in the gas and can't use Dead Hard, Lithe etc. Perk build I switch around a lot but Discordance and STBFL is always good so why not pair it up with Ruin and Undying.
-
Perhaps it's just me but I never read posters names so if anyone asks me to name a single person here I can't. I can remember lots of topics etc but never members. Some other forums I have been a member of for 10-20 years and same thing there.

Fun to play against: Hag, Myers, Pig, Plague, Demogorgon, Oni, Trapper, Clown
Ok: the rest except..
Not fun: Doctor, Legion

DC penalty is incredibly unhealthy for the game in my experience.
It's only unhealthy for players who DC. For the rest of us who wants to play fair it's the opposite. DC penalties is very much needed.
-
I always hear about toxic killers, but almost never face any. Played about 15 survivor games during this double BP event..not a single killer has tunneled or camped.
Now don't get angry but I think people can play 10 games and lose a few games, have one killer tunneling and then what will they remember from those 10 games? The losing, the tunneling killer and then come here and rant about 10 games of toxic killers.
-
They are not! But since keys, SWF, gen speed, DS/BT is a thing they probably feel they have to compensate with moris.
-
Turn off crossplay if you don't like us console players then.
-
Try to surprise the survivors with your builds and addons. Doctor you mention can stack his two calm addons and with monitor and abuse he has e 10 meter TR when static blast is on cooldown. Clown use his solvent jug to rob survivors of dead hard, lithe etc. And if you need to play "dirty" using "proxy camping" tunneling etc to force survivors to make mistakes. They can make a lot of those if you guard the hook a bit and let them come to you.
And Hag is an amazing killer just learn from Michi if nothing else. When you get the hang of her survivors are in trouble.
-
Blight is pretty awful on console. I only played him for that t-pose and the two tombe challanges but now, no more.
-
Buff both. Would be fun to see some competition for SWF groups.

That's why everyone should run ds, let's punish these camping/slugging killers.
And they only camp/slug because of ds, t-bagging etc. It's a vicious circle.
-
Killers only win against bad teams. When you play solo as I do well it's hard to play very good as a team, but still I escape a lot so killers are in no way winning too much.
-
Yes playing solo survivor I almost always do better than my PC teammates. PC players are way to optimistic mostly, they lack the skill of knowing what to do and when to do it. A bit like headless chickens. But some of them are good. But we have seen this forever watching youtubers over the years against PC-survivors.
-
Because it's low rank players. In red ranks you never see basement Bubbas.

Xbox is fine as far as I can tell ๐คทโโ๏ธ I haven't had any problems.
Except every 15th game or so the game freeze just when a match is about to start, game restarts and you have a matchmaking ban of 5 mins. This has happened to me on Xbox One X four times this week. Other than that the game is mostly fine.

A thread about yourself, how very selfish.
