See but the growing problem is you're locked into a handful of certain builds. There isn't enough diversity for killer perks yet
The problem is it’s same for survivor. I honestly feel locked into bringing DS and BT every match to have a chance at enjoying the game when certain tactics are used by the killer.
-
There should be a “give up” option for the slugged survivor after 15s being left on the ground.
Then it will be fair, right?
Of course that’s just assuming people are only complaining because of the principle of DC’ing for hatch, and not because they are entitled killer mains who need the 4K for their ego.
-
Not entirely sure how survivors are toxic for playing the game.

This thread is all the proof needed that bad survivors don't understand how spirit works or how difficult it actually is to play her. Footsteps are by far the most important piece of information to reliably track survivors.
It also shows these same survivors know they've reached the upper limit of their skill level. Even with their SWF groups and plethora of second chance perks they lack either the will or ability to learn how to play against B tier and above killers so they demand the game be made easier for them. It's both sad and comical.
What an ignorant statement
-
Here we go again with the “X got nerfed so Y must get nerfed too”. It’s funny how Iron will wasn’t complained about until an F-tier killer perk got nerfed.
As a killer you aren’t only playing by your ears, you have other ways of tracking survivors:
1) Your eyes
2) Blood
3) Scratch marks
-
I love the map too, as it’s pretty much like the RPD in RE2 but I can see why it can be unfair for some killers.
For example the east office has a window that’s pretty much an “infinite” if run the right way. The observation/interrogation room window is also pretty safe which allows you to waste the killer’s time.
-
Issue is, this doesn’t resolve the core issue with Spirit, if I don’t run iron will I will just get steamrolled unless I’m at a god pallet/window.
-
What annoys me is if I don’t run iron will and I get a spirit there’s still absolutely nothing I can do unless I’m at a god window/pallet.
-
I prefer him over huntress tbh, he’s still way more forgiving when it comes to misses and his kryptonite is high wall structures which I tend to avoid anyway.
-
Oh no, looks like Trickster players have to be at least slightly concerned about accuracy now rather than just spam.
You can still take 7 health states with 2 knives to spare. Or let’s say you only hit 24 knives out of 44, that’s still 4 health states.
Also there’s that iri add on which recharges knives after using Main event.
-
has it returned?
-
You’re going down a slippery slope adding drawbacks to perks.
Iron will is fine, just suck up the stridor nerf (even though you probably never use it) and move on.
-
“Killers job is to protect gens”, but the same people making that statement would cry “holding game hostage” when they are stuck in a game with 2 survivors crouching in bushes. Jeez guys the survivors job is to survive, that’s what they are doing.
-
The only reason DS is still relevant to me is because it works in endgame. If that wasn’t the case I’d be dropping it for something else.
-
They need to add more staircases and widen doorways to prevent bodyblocking and open up a few walls then the map will be passable.
-
Can’t wait for Cybil to not look like a cracked out Leslie Knope.
-
Without addons I don’t think it’s possible to die to a RBT unless the killer is actively chasing you off puzzle boxes.
However with tampered timer and crate of gears deaths to RBT are a bit more common, but it’s still up to RNG.
-
As long as RPD is still in map rotation & unoptimised I’d say no to that.

Why do you think the hate-train exists? The matchmaking doesn't adjust for the advantage comms. This leads to some killers feeling they are completely powerless when versing friends looking to have a good time.
Sounds like your problem. You need to adjust and play accordingly.
Survivors have every right to try hard just as killers do.
-
Personally I enjoy the challenge it brings.
Attempting to coordinate a save against a camping killer (who isn’t bubba) gives a thrill, especially when you manage to make the save and body block your way to the exit.
-
Regarding WGLF, I agree that stacks should be easier to gain.
Picking up a slugged survivor should grant a stack if the pickup was “safe”
Healing other survivors for the equivalent of a full health state should also grant a stack.
Repairing the equivalent of 1 full generator should grant a stack. In a way it still relates to the perk as you need to do gens to help you & your team survive.
Right now you put yourself in the firing line when trying to gain stacks, as body blocking and unhooking tends to attract the killer’s attention to you, which can potentially end your game early if you’re not careful.
-
Killers have priority when it comes to hits. The devs explained it in one of their blogs that whatever happens client side for the killer takes priority over what happens client side for survivor.
Unfortunately that can be somewhat abused by people using a VPN or with a poor connection.
I think they are changing it in the mid chapter update, instead the server will “decide” if the hit was valid or not. Hopefully this will solve issues with killers with poor connection.
-
The SWF hate-train needs to stop. More often than not it’s just friends looking to have a good time.
Also can you really blame try hard SWF’s? Survivor’s don’t have to play nice for the killer and vice versa
-
Wraith’s addons are outdated, they definitely need a look at like they did with Huntress.
-
To be fair Trickster isn’t too bad when run with the right add ons.
-
I generally disagree with perks that help newbies. That’s what a tutorial should be for. The perks just clutter up the bloodweb with F-tier perks that experienced players will never use.
-
Body-blocking with BT is a valid strategy but it has its risks.
I find it’s truly effective in endgame & even better if you have DS. Otherwise it’s better to just use those 12s to get to a loop.
-
There should be a give up button for the slugged survivor when there is one survivor left.
-
I think you are confusing suffocation pit with sheltered woods, which has like 3 pallets not including the shack.
-
I think the DC penalty has returned.
-
Cheryl/Heather isn’t the only drug addict, we have Cybil, Claire and Quentin too. Journeying through the fog must take its toll on them.

I do. Players still feel the need to DC near-constantly on me.
If you can tell me what's nicer than a killer who doesn't camp or tunnel, gives unhooked players grace periods where they won't attack them, ignores injured targets for healthy ones, and doesn't kill people on second hook, I'm listening.
With the current state of the game, we're harvesting plenty of DCs for all kinds of reasons. Don't like the killer, got found first, got downed first, don't like how the killer played, failed to pull off a tech, got outplayed? Plenty of survivors think that's fine grounds to pull the plug. I've even had players DC while I was farming because they thought that was boring.
I know, you shouldn’t need to play nice just to not to get DC’s but right now where it’s disabled it’s your best option, unless of course you don’t mind the DC’s.
-
Remove tombstone piece, it’s his most broken addon. You can just delete survivors from the game without even hooking them.
Tombstone + Tuft of hair…I don’t have a problem with it but it can be boring for both sides, either all 5 gens get done & survivors leave with no altruism or boldness points and no hook points for Myers, or Myers gets T3 & demolishes all the survivors, again with a lack of points for both sides.
-
Play nice then the player won’t feel the need to DC.
-
What car do you drive?
-
I see that they at least tried to make Nemesis faithful to his Resident Evil origin.
The zombies, the T-Virus, tentacle strike, mutation mechanic and the soundtrack.
But he falls flat in his gameplay. He just feels like a weaker Pyramid Head.
The mutation mechanic had so much potential, instead it just increases the range of the tentacle strike and allows you to break pallets with it. It could have been something that made him stronger as the trial goes on.
-
Can’t wait till it gets enabled, I got a healthy stack of RPD badges to burn
-
My totem buster build requires only 2 things, Detectives hunch and a green map.
-
Posting Pictures of games with DC’s serves no benefit here.
Also it happens on both sides, there’s no need to make it a “us vs them” argument.
-
My issue is that the addons that affect mutation rate & the addons that affect vaccines become useless as the trial progresses.
One you get to T3 & the vaccines are used up that’s at least half of his addons becoming useless. Compare that to the other killers in the roster who have addons that benefit them throughout the trial.
Then you have zombie speed addons which are only decent if the AI feels like working. Personally I like the Ink ribbon & Mikhail’s eye combo as the movement speed becomes 50% which can throw off some survivors when the zombies feel like working.
-
Remember me is being overshadowed by the new No Way Out buff coming soon.
If anything it would just encourage the devs not to buff Remember me as the two combined would be ridiculous.
I never liked the obsession being exempt thing either, it only encourages tunnelling out the obsession once you get all your stacks.
-
If iron will doesn’t make you 100% groan free it’s useless. Making it have a timer like Lucky break would also just gimp it.
Staying injured has it’s disadvantages, you leave pools of blood and you are one health state away from dying. Iron will only removes sound, you can still use your eyes and a bit of prediction. Iron will is map dependant as well, it’s a hell of a lot easier to disappear on Hawkins than it is on Shelter woods for example.
Bloodhound helps tremendously with this, but I bet most players would rather stick pins in their eyes rather than run a non-meta perk.
-
Nemesis.
Most of his addons get useless as the trial progresses, which leaves only a few that are somewhat useful (Visitor wristband, STARS Manual, Brian’s intestine, Mikhail’s eye, Admin wristband, depleted ink ribbon, shattered STARS badge) Even then all these do is buff zombies, which would be remotely useful if they didn’t get stuck on things most of the time.
Serotonin injector is the only decent add on, the undetectable status effect from killing zombies can throw some survivors off. But even then you have to hope the zombie isn’t stuck in the corner of the map somewhere.
-
Well EGC is already killer sided as it is. 99 the exit gates balance it out a little.
-
The only thing that’s close to OP on Myers is tombstone piece.
-
I like Nemesis but his power feels underwhelming.
Why do survivors have to infected before taking hits from his M2? That detriments him as it gives them a speed boost without losing a health state while Nemesis still has to recover from his M2.

The thing is, loops are still viable (yes even the unsafe pallets) , but survivors are so used to being in control and unable to deal with killers having counterplay that they now just run forward while the killer is miles away. I’m not blaming survivors who do this by the way. It’s something the devs need to address.
The unsafe loops aren’t viable, there are a few unsafe looking loops on Hawkins that can make a larger mindgame-able loop if played right but the majority of unsafe loops are that, unsafe.
In fact with some unsafe pallets the time it takes to throw them down the killer can get to the other side & get a hit.
Also how will the devs solve “hold W”? Remember that the amount of unsafe loops & deadzones contributed to this “hold W” meta.
Also bear in mind holding W doesn’t solve everything, it still depends on where you are positioned in the map and where the killer is coming from, so it’s a lot more situational then you may be led to believe by a content creator spouting this “hold W” nonsense.
-
Well you can’t really blame them, it makes flashlights and blinding devices completely useless unless it’s a hag or wraith.
For reference we have a lot of people complaining about Iron will trumping Stridor in the PTB, yet it’s fine if a survivor item is made completely useless by a perk.
-
Well if the devs keep replacing loops with unsafe windows & unsafe pallets along with maps with huge deadzones this is what it boils down to.
-
The main issue is it will massively devalue stealth killers if every killer was able to gain the undetectable effect so easily with 1 condition.
