  • The only argument I had was a match I had as Springtrap 3 survivors had head on, Q&Q and vigil

I got stunned approximately 50 times from head on. I killed 2 of them and 2 got out but it was a very frustrating experience it’s because there exhaustion kept on coming back so fast

but that was only one game every game has been pretty basic

oh, then would this be a true fix then? If vaulting in power no longer takes away your perk benefit?

it doesn’t I guess? If legion and wesker don’t vault with there powers it won’t use unbounds haste

I guess you can look at it like that

  • @Mr_K said:

That would be what the change does. My question is does Legion actually have an actualy and messured faster vault with the perk today?

no haste doesn’t effect vault speed

  • @Mr_K said:

    • Fixed an issue where using a Killer power to vault would trigger the Unbound perk.

So what they changed was the vaulting speed boost. As I don't use Unbound, does it actually speed up the vault animation or just consume the charge when using a killer power?

pretty much if you use legions frenzy to vault a window you will not get the haste from unbound

You have to ACTUALLY vault the window regularly to get the haste now

It did in a previous PTB and people came out of the woodwork to complain it was OP.

    difference was it was basekit

We wanted it to be a Ultra rare addon where the ranged attack gives them torment with a downside

  • wait is this the last time we’re seeing this event?

  • I thought of something more like this

As long as the obsession is alive, the obsession gains a 25% boost to healing and unhooking.

For each survivor you hook gain a token up to 5. For each token you get, survivors suffer a 3/4/5% penalty for repair, healing, sabotage.

the obsession will have there healing and unhooking speed reduced for each token by 3/4/5%.

If you hook the obsession you lose 1 token. If the obsession dies the perk will deactivate

Ghoul increased the power levels of your opponents.

I don’t get it? I’m trying to play the way I saw online but I’m making so many stupid mistakes and then I can’t even down one person without losing 3 gens and there claiming he’s A tier?

    am I missing something here?

It's funny how neither the community or BHVR has learned that adding anti-killer mechanics has never improved the quality of the game. In fact the game has arguably only gotten worse, because all it's done is force killers to play optimally.

anti tunneling worked great though it made the game better?

  • I think they were buffed to 5% when they kick gens

  • @Queen_HawlSera said:

The knife is disappointing. I was sort of hoping he'd be a punching brute like Nemesis

it makes sense William Afton was a serial killer and the knife fits perfectly.
plus he used it in the movies too

  • I think it’s Rick Grimes from walking dead and another character

A lot of child coming to make this game a new Fortnite and down the servers of course. Whos next?

you do realize all those “children” are all in there 20s now and aren’t children anymore?
plus this is good now people aren’t going to ask for FNAF anymore cause we got it

now can we get that Scooby doo license now?

  • sadly no Michael Afton

But the next 2 characters added will be 2 licensed survivors

  • I did I punched my clothes drawer cause playing him angered me so hard.
It’s weird why is it I can’t play the “best” killer yet killers that are perceived to be mid or good I can 4k no problem like knight, Dracula, singularity and hound master

  • @I_CAME said:

Yes. It's ludicrous that he's still as strong as he is when you consider some of the things that have been nerfed over the years.

70% kill rate against the top 10% of survivors. We know it's even higher since Behavior conveniently doesn't count games where someone disconnects. I would imagine Blight is on the higher end of this given how quickly he can create hopeless situations for the survivors.

Every Blight you run into in normal matches runs builds that wouldn't even be allowed in comp against the best survivors in the world.

2000 game winstreak that Momo did with him shows what he is capable of in the hands of a skilled player. Find me any other competitive game where a 2000 game winstreak would be considered acceptable.

He is also killing killer variety because there isn't much reason to play anything else while this overtuned monstrosity exists in the game.

honestly if I were to nerf him I would do these simple changes

    1. Breaking a pallet takes away 1 rush token. So like Ghoul you can’t just instantly dash
    2. Reduce the speed of rush from 230% to 200% OR make Blight 110% by default
    3. Slightly increase the cooldown when missing and when he injects himself
  • it’s the opposite for me as killer when I played the regular game every survivor brought syringes, BNp and rushed every Gen and I couldn’t get one hook

  • I won’t name names but cmon Kaneki is not outside of top 5 his mobility is ######### nuts.
not even blight or nurse could move as fast as him

  • wow WWE has made Its way to the dbd forums!!!

I hope we get a WWE crossover

  • @Bodark said:

Not even close to Nurse. Not S Tier either.

Most overrated killer this game has ever seen.

I am an awful survivor and have been able to loop them easily. Except on farm maps because there is like 3 pallets total.

that ghoul probably was a bad killer?

If I out okay blight and win does that mean the killer sucks? No

  • oh no no no

You see this one youtuber made a video saying SWF got buffed now his echo chamber commenters will say ghoul was unfairly nerfed and survivor gets the new op perk.
killers never get any love they always get nerfed by the evil survivor sided devs even though killers got all these buffs throughout the years and made so many killers better to use

  • @IlliterateGenocide said:

I am a pretty big fan of harry potter, but i think the devs will move away from it because of Rowling's views

FNAF is coming next month though?

  • after play testing him on ps5

Holy ######### he actually feels amazing to play with now. Him flicking 180 on a controller feels so much better and more smooth. It actually feels better and not clunky.

The slowdown when canceling demon dash before you actually go is slow but it’s not severe enough to cripple him.

He was literally shadow buffed for console and yet the patch or devs never said anything

  • @thrawn3054 said:

I haven't played in a while but I noticed how painful it was in Hens video. I need to try it out and see how rough things truly are though.

I noticed that when he cancels demon dash it’s a bad slow down.

But console can now actually do the 180 flick? I play console and I need to test this. If true could be amazing cause finally his strength was all about that flick. Sucks for pc yes but console gets the love finally.

  • IMG_3645.jpeg

me reading all the BHVR bad grrr game is “insert role here” sided. Game is ruined

Knowing that the game will be a decade old soon

  • imo my favorite teaser of all time was deathslingers

he had only one teaser which was a chain.
people thought it was hellraiser. With the rumors of breakable walls I thought it was a monster who was on a chain who could smash walls.
people thought it would be a prisoner.

Who would have thought it would be a coy boy bounty Hunter with a chain gun in the Wild West.

That’s why I loved the old teasers cause it would show something so little yet it was so big. It was cause so much conversation and I love how BHVR would curveball us in a good way when revealing killers. We think it’s one killer but it’s something else

  • sounds like a stupid idea

but what if they made color options for auras?

There should be an option to change the color of auras from red to a color of your choosing like blue, green, yellow, pink.

That way the colors won’t blend in and hurt the eyes of players

  • seems more fun and interesting. That’s what she should have been in the first place why use drones if you can’t control them? And they didn’t move?

I want to see visuals of this happening

  • all terror radius perks need to linger for at least 3 seconds when not in TR otherwise some need reworks.

Dark devotion is fine doesn’t need to be strong it’s a fun gimmick perk

dissolution needs to remove the part where the survivors know it’s activated

Septic touch sucks ass and should be buffed

  • I hope we get these skins for these characters

    Molten Freddy-The dredge

    Ennard-The unknown or the singularity

    Mangle-the unknown

    Funtime Freddy-the twins

    Original 4 cast masks-the legion

I’m not sure what else but those skins are perfect legendarys for those killers

  • now I’m interested.
In the notes it states he’s getting a slight rework in another aspect?

I assume he will keep his knifes cause that’s like his main trait. But I wonder what they will add onto him to make him more interesting

  • @danielmaster87 said:

Y'all are making me feel stupid. I'm lost.

I’ll explain the increase bonus cause I actually know that one more

A Gen takes 90 charges. 1 charge=1 second. So 90 charges is 90 seconds to compete one generator.
let’s say you run the perk deva vu that gives a 6% bonus speed.

You take the 6% and move the decimal to the left twice so now it’s .06

You take 1 second and you add the .06, so 1+0.06 is 1.06.

then you take the original 90 seconds and divide that by your result that being 1.06.

    90/1.06=84.906 rounded up would be 85 charges/seconds.

So in conclusion with the math done, deva vu would reduce the time to do gens by exactly 5 seconds.

That’s what I know about the speed increase I hope that’s simple enough to understand

  • there was a mistake in the dev note they corrected it on Instagram saying the dash speed momentum affects both slice and dice and scamper.
so both will be made faster

  • I think it’s cause of chuckys size cause he’s the only killer who’s 2 ft tall and small. So I guess to balance his size they give him a bigger TR

  • it’s funny this thread was made days ago and just now the ptb has announced Xeno is getting buffed and changed

  • @Brokenbones said:

For me it's not about power strength or weakness etc it's just

The killer really doesn't feel like I'm playing a Xenomorph at all. The mobility aspect of the power is a bit frustrating to use since it's reliant on fixed spots that you can't decide on and it gives the survivors so many signals that it has no real stealth or jumpscare factor.

The tail doesn't really have much skill to it and that doesn't mean it's easy to use but there's not really a whole lot to it either? I'm fine with simple chase powers, but Xeno's just doesn't feel great to me.

The turret aspect to it while I don't think is a massive problem balance wise, it's def not very high on the 'enjoyment' scale either. Especially now that survivors know how to use them more efficiently (placing two turrets near each other to guarantee a power loss for xeno).

I 100% agree it feels like they splurged all there budget on the tunnels and forgot to develop the rest of him.
i believe he was supposed to climb walls cause if you play him and go against a wall he as a strange animation that’s not seen

    IMG_3361.jpeg

when he goes up against a wall it looks like he’s trying to climb onto the wall but can’t. It seems it was a leftover of what he was supposed to be

id be sad about this but the licence holders made nft slop and then did nothing with the licence and we didn't even get a survivor or map so… good won i fear!

That was the old license holders

Hellraiser is now back to Clive barker in the US. I believe park avenue still own the international rights but the reason we even got the voice lines back was cause of Clive barker getting the rights and a strange bts stuff involving Bradley himself

  • not surprised honestly cause of the whole licensing hell the character has gone through

  • @OnryosTapeRentals said:

Dracula might have 3 powers but they're all relatively intuitive to play against. It takes a couple of matches most of playing against Dracula to figure out what each of his forms do:

    • Hellfire is a medium range attack that functions similarly to other killers (Nemesis, Pyramid Head, and Xeno). It's well telegraphed, the range is clearly visisble, and the SFX and animations make it clear what you got hit by.
    • Wolf form is a dash attack that functons similarly to other killers (Wesker, Blight, Demogorgon, Houndmaster). Again, it's telegraphed, and clear what you got hit by.
    • Bat form is the only power he has where it isn't super obvious what is going on and requires knowledge of how the killer operates to counter. But I'd say it's evened out by the fact he's pretty noisy as a bat, has a lullaby, and his teleport is well telegraphed.

Odds are if a survivor doesn't know Dracula, they've at least played against one of the other functionally similar killers and can quickly clock on to his similarity and engage in the counterplay. But Skull Merchant is a complete oddity in the roster. There is no killer like her so the counterplay is novel, and none of her kit was intuitive or well telegraphed.

Loading in as a new player against is her like:

    • "Okay there are Drones that give me a little triangle on my HUD when I get scanned, but other than that I have no idea what they do." —> "Oh never mind I'm injured, broken, and hindered. —> "I best try to hide" —> *gets found straight away because the game doesn't make it clear she can see your location on a radar*
    • Later in the game… *gets grabbed off a generator with no warning* because unlike the other stealth killers she has no tell that she's Undetectable (Myers' breathing, Onryo's lullaby, Wraith's grunting and partial invisibility, etc.)
    • And to make matters more confusing, *constant second guessing distances in chase and confused about why she's catching up so quick* because a teammate is getting scanned across the map but the game doesn't clearly indicate what's going on so you're just left wondering "What am I doing wrong?"

Of course I'm exaggerating somewhat but the jist of it is that she was just overwhelmingly confusing for DbD's (primarily) casual and inexperienced audience. And it didn't help that her players garnered themselves a bad reputation by playing in some of the most disliked ways.

Her individual power(s) might not have been all that great, the problem was they weren't intuitive to play against.

it’s funny you mention that cause skull merchant actually did have a function to tell survivors they were being tracked

In the first ever ptb for her if you were scanned or had a claw trap on if she pulled up her scanner a giant orange eye would appear above the survivor indicating your being tracked and locked on

She did actually have a tell but it was removed from the ptb

  • eh you shoot a survivor it’s 4.5 second hinder so it’s only a 2.5 sec difference to hit them if it connects.
not a huge nerf Freddy will be alright

People dropped TCM because of 2 things:

    1. The devs actually tried to balance the game, and people were mostly playing the game because it had lots of unbalanced stuff.
    2. The devs started introducing a lot of high priced DLC content.

people really take dbd for granted

I love tcm the game but even I admit some stuff is overpriced in that game

  • one complaint I always heard was that solo survivor feels hopeless if the killer tunnels out and your stuck with 2 teammates you feel hopeless.
1v4 is the standard and 1v1 you have the hatch and end game collapse.
but when your at 3v1 you feel lost if your not communicating.

I feel there should be some basekit mechanisms to fix the hopelessness might sound op but there spit balling

    1. If the killer kills 1 survivor and there’s 5 gens left an item spawns in the middle of the map. It’s a insta BNP that will instantly complete a gen(pretty much 1.0.0 BNP, NOTE will only spawn if there are 5 gens left if there are 3 survivors only alive)
    2. If the killer is slugging and a survivor is on the floor for more than 2 minutes the survivors should gain the ability to kill themselves so they don’t have to stay on the floor

I want them to do classic DBD game modes but do multiple iterations with each major patch from release in 2016 to Ash in 2019. I want each mode be exactly how the game was on release day of those patches. Broken Legion, broken MoM, old hatch with keys mid match and hatch grabs, original Freddy and Doctor, etc.

I would LOVE to see old legion again just to show how awful he was and show that there were worse designs than skull merchant

  • they should make a game mode called “dbd classic” and make it where your in version 1.0.0

No entity blocker, bloodlust, REAL infinites, No Nurse, No exhaustion, 20 second sprint burst, insta BNP, Traps under hooks.

Show the players that were taking modern dbd for granted

  • enduring is going to be so meta on him

1 2 3 4 5 6 … 54
