Charges halfway used up in seconds.
with 3 people down, why even caring for regression? youre just hurting yourself with those "arguments".

Can we at least get an option to toggle the backpacks on and off?
There really are so many outfits that I avoid because of them.
Nah that would be something the community wants and requires some kind of coding. Who knows what they would break with implementing this.
-
Nothing of this makes any sense. But hey, at least you did another us vs them discussion based on some unprooved reddit post. Pretty good job so far.
-
This doesnt balance anything. Youre just making good player feel bad for doing well and feel bad players good for being bad.
-
Its not just a matter of skill even though the majority is below average in regards of game sense (both sides). Playing killer has so many flaws to exploit, it just makes games trivial for survivors.
-
It never was necessary, it never will be.
-
Slowdowns arent healthy for the game. New ones would make it just more boring to play. Buffing existing ones would make it more boring. Its already meta that lkillers with no confidence run 4 slowdowns dragging the game on and on. killrs tend to rely far too much on cheap design, and there is plenty to choose from as killer. I refrain from playing killer cause its so damn boring. If i want to play single player, i play more challenging games than dbd killer. and slowdowns getting buffed during perk overjaul was the greatest mistake in dbd history.

I don't think it is likely that a company can be a build a successful game with a seven year life span by not doing what is needed. I have plenty of disagreements with design decisions BHVR has made, but you can't stumble into making a successful video game.
I am not interested in doing this discussing again and again. they did their part to place themself on the market and have no competititors. thats enough to say on this part. trying to to polish the game always got a big uproar within the community that has insight on gameplay. the average players doesnt care, cause theyre not that deep into gameplay.
-
Why should any side be a power role? It just doesnt make sense.
-
Ah thats why we see them frequently used. Cause theyre bad. Sigh.
-
The thing is: the devs dont do what is needed, they do what they like to. And that is the sad fact. Also it doesnt matter if majority or not. Devs need to do what the game needs. From all the changes made last year, maybe a handful is what was kinda needed. Devs could easily make themself popular among the commnuity by doing what is needed, but they just do their thing (that is no good).

Imagine playing Blight and worrying about pips.

No, I don't play killer before you yell "KILLER MAIN COMPLAINING ABOUT A WEAK PERK". I'm tired to see my teammates going from pallet to pallet and when the match goes on there is no pallet left for us to use. They keep wasting it for absolutely nothing and it only kills us at the end and what for? This perk is extremely unhealthy. I hate to say it but I think this perk has got to go. Survivors need to learn the game and not just drop every pallet they see on their screen.
Thats not a problem of the perk, thats a problem of how bad players are.
-
You surely wont play against the top 5% teams.
-
Thats how ingame shop work. totally overpriced for anything it does or not. And hell, ive seen way more expensive ingame shop with skins for 25 euros.

I think that with the game modes , you should have just let us rate them from 1 to 8 (or however many there were) on a single page. Dragging it over multiple pages felt tiring and unnecessary.
Otherwise, very good survey, felt like you were interested in our opinions on important things in this game.
Thats how surveys always are. the askled for something to look like its important to them and then nothing comes out of it. or even worse and they go against the feedback. its probably not worth doing those. never came anything related to it.
-
Disgustingly Scary (if its not Dredge-dark) and Luck of the Draw are probably the only playable modes. All other modes have serious issues with how the game is actually designed.
-
As long as youre not in a chase you were always feeling safe as you can look around you at a gen. Nothing changed.

Survivors are not healing anymore. Everyone are tunnelling generators. They are hearing your terror radius and starting run away. You chase them, other generators will repair so fast. You leave, they will back and repair generator again.
Meg and Feng perks are not fun for killers.
Exhaustion perks are so strong. Why only nerf for killers? Why no nerf for survivors?
Stop abusing the definiton of "tunneling". And try to getr some gamesinse for killer gameplay. Its not that hard at all, in fact its never been this easy and people always were able to stomp general survivor teams. And by your logic, how about changing all of killers regression too? An eye for an eye as you said.
-
So what exactly happened that its talked about so much right now? Its been like this for years and nobody cared about it. Is it jus because of Otz? Do people really needed someone like him telling them the obvious?
-
By slowly tuning them up step by step.
-
You basically need balance on all killers. No exception. But its more urgent to tone down several things to get a hang on how players adapt. The thing is bhvr doesnt have a good view on balancing anything in this game, like we saw on trickster. No fun at all, so lets buff it making it an complete overkill and have to undo everything. Or buffing Trapper and it basically didnt change anything. Or the great perk overhaul, which just ended up in killers trading their regressions perks with other regression perks but completely killing several unproblematic survivor perks.Thats what happens with balancing by bhvr. Its just no good.
-
With reworked maps, bvhr completely screwed up generator spawns. Ive never seen gens spawning in such bad manners than on those reworked maps. I thought Glenvale and Haddonfield were bad, but then i saw those 3 gens on Ormond where you have those gens straight in a line of sight or at the corner.
And the worst is if your mates dont see them at all and just do gens randomly instead of getting rid of those 3 gens youre dying to do.
-
Probalby Crotus Prenn maps. Reworks brought 3 gens and dead zones on almost well balanced maps. New maps are mostly ackward on designs. Never even mind those indoor maps.
-
Cause they just do their changes randomly.
-
Talking about logic. Hahahahaha.
-
Fogwise wasnt heavily talked about. It never was and never will be, cause its just a niche perk. Its not that strong and is countered by killer meta pretty easily: Mindbreaker or Ultimate Weapon.
Hyperfocus was just talked about cause killers alsways scare themself over gen-speed perks, never mind what they even do or not do. People just claimed it Op when survivors made full gen builds, but nothing of that really would have been problematic as its just not that storng. Otherwise you would see those builds frequently, but theyre basically non-existing.
Both perks are niche. Nothing more.

What is this huge regression meta you are speaking off, though? I am curious.
Are you really unable to see that nearly every killers runs four slowdown perks + busted addons?
-
Itn not becoming any more compettitive. Players are just way more toxic and relying even more on detrimental playstyles.
-
Nurse. Pretty easy to get to a level wrecking the average playerbase in 50 hours.
-
Cause devs thought that a huge regression meta is fun to play against.

Look at the queue times. Survivor and killer is just waiting in line simulator. This is ridiculous.
So having basicaly instant queuetimes as survivor in EU is a dead game? Seems to be you issue.
-
Chucky is the perfect example that hitboxes in this game are completely silly. And devs still dont acknowledge it, they made it even worse. You cant show this to anyone who has some common sense.

Then neither can killers.
Tunneling means "A killer focuses solely on a single survivor until he/she is dead". Survivors arent killers, and SURPRISE killers are killers.Sigh.
-
Youre not supposed to make a braindead safe killer spot.
-
Survivors cant tunnel by definition. And stop making those nonsense comparisons.
-
Yeah lerts talk about all those survivor techs ... oh wait ... its just all about killer techs not being fixed at all.
-
@ShowNoMercy said:
A new day, a new patch, but I guess this has been asked thousands of times but do you think generators are a problem? Are survivors repairing gens way too fast from your perspective? Is this the reason why killers in general are using 4 generator blocking/regressing perks?
Generator speed never were a issue, Its always an issue of weak players. And as long as the game is holding hands for killers with tacticts and regression meta, nothing will ever change.
-
The thing is: devs just do things for whatever reason, if there is even reason. They neither have any logic behind their order of changes nor a priority. And what good does it do to announce that they make changes to Grim Embrace, while there are a dozen of perks that need urgent changes due to actual imbalanced gameplay?

may i ask why you want 99’ing gates and gens nerfed? as for heals there is a perk to counter this.
I Unfortunately I have do disappoint you pretty much. Your disgraceful assumption went completely wrong. Hahaha. I never even used MFT at all. ts quite pathetic to accuse someone of something you cannot prove at all, and thinking youre right to teach someone. You shouldnt talk so big, if your only argument is a pathetic false assumption against particular experience.

What will be left for killers?
Everything a killer can do it being removed. You got rid of regression, now its chase !
Regression is still one of the worst things in game. Dont make it look like killers werent able to have several exploting tactics.
-
Thats just how killer players are in like 90% of the matches. Nothing different.
-
Killer: You cant take my "tactics" away unless i get double rewarded.
Also Killers: Survivors cant be allowed to have "tactics". theyre exploiting!!!!
killer double standards as always.

On the new roadmap, Behaviour announced that they are looking into a 'solution to 3 gen.' I have no high hopes for this, and it'll probably be something like, 'if the last 3 gens are too close together, one of them gets replaced with one that is further away.' This, of course, would be a huge problem. 3 genning, as boring as it can be, is the most reliable tactic for low mobility/map control killers. Taking this away would just screw them heavily.
Of course, this is just speculation, but I cannot think of anything else they'd come up with to 'solve' 3 gen. In my opinion, it's a necessary evil to have in the game so that lower-tier killers can have more control. Also, keep in mind that survivors can avoid 3 gens if they are smart.
Easy fix: dont let the system palce 3 gens next to each other. I know thats insane, right?
-
No perk does anything against 3-gen defense, especially not deja vu. The moment the map has a 3 gen and the killer recognizes it, the game is over. It doesnt matter if the survivors realise it or not.
-
I dont see where that little puppet is fun to play against. Just another shrimp Blight.
-
So were gonna see people complaining about everything? Like it is now? What a great change xD

Yes... BHVR never had a proper balance philosophy.
Second if we go by your logic, half of survivor perks would require a substantial nerf.
Why should survivors be rewarded with resi,MFT, well make it, Unbreakable, etc etc when they blatantly"failed at their objective" and got hit/downed/hooked?
There's a clear balance dissonance when a killer perk for 4% haste is an hex perk (BHVR definition, hexs are extremely strong perks).
Yet hope for 7% is just free, permanent and has no counterplay.
Thirdly, the killers objective is to kill, until the survivors are out of the trial the killer didn't "fail at his objectives".
All in all, the power role is killer, it makes sense for killer to have perks 3-4x stronger than a similar survivor perk.
If you want to know if a certain survivor perk is balanced, just 3-4x the effects and for certain perks apply the mirror effect (Endurance > exposed, for example).
And let me tell you, you wouldn't enjoy going against a killer version of hope. (21-28% haste perm).
I detect a massive amount of bias and lack of gamesense. Nothing more to discuss here if youre thinking like this.
