Pyramid head is in my opinion the killer that needs an add-on pass the most. He has 3 good add-ons his green recharge, green range and yellow range. The rest of his add-ons range from bad like his purple oblivious add-on to which barley does anything as 80% of the time if someone steps In the killer's trail they'll already be in chance. But that is one of his "better" add-ons because at least it does something. However his absolute worst add-ons are his killer instinct duration and his add-ons that let you have your trails on the ground for longer has they are barley noticable and fail to provide any assistance/ different style of gameplay for him.

His ultra rare add-ons are interesting and unique but currently feel like they have the strength of a brown/ yellow add-on . To fix this issue I would change the addon that allows the killer to see all other tormented survivors when a survivor is sent to a cage to allow the killer to see every survivor when a survivor is sent to a cage and lastly I would change his undetectable to have a 8-12 lingering undetectable effect after stepping off a trail. These proposed changes should keep the original sprit of the ultra rare add-ons while buffing them significantly, therefore giving pyramid player's more options for add-ons that are not just "double range".

His add-ons are bad but the killer is strong. I wouldn't expect an add-on pass without some nerfs to compensate.

In the end would it matter that much? The killer is good has a niche fan base, i can think of a number of killers that deserve changes more then Pyramid head, being add-on passes or base-kit

Im feeling like a broken record....

We told them what she needed to be better. We told them this rework wasnt it. Nerfing her in numbers doesnt fix the problem. The4y has to see that map wide condemn is bad for her. I myself (mained her since launch) wrote 3 posts about how to rework / buff her. I told them about the changes on the PTB and where they would lead. I told them about the things she would need. I and a lot of others even came up with fun addons to take into consideration.

They ignored our constructive feedback. Now we have the disaster.

I would love them to revert the changes. Its bad for her and bad for the game as a hole. Keep ring drawing as it isa and revert the rest. Shes better that way.

Otherwise. I have all my posts in my archive. I can post it again if anybody wants to read. There where a ton of great ideas from all sorts of players.

I think that this time, we should NOT only look at popular content creators but at the players actually playing her consistently.

I just wouldn't bet on either another rework or bhvr to swallow their pride and revert the changes, especially when there are players that like those changes.

So i just think that the most probable thing that will happen is a nerf to her because of how oppressive and controversial she is against solos

I honestly don't expect good things for her in the coming weeks.

I agree rn sadako is way too strong for the average soloQ team (altho everyone except trapless trapper is tbh), but why use pig as an example, she is literally a joke of a killer, this comes from someone who has played and pays pig a lot, id be better if you point how sadako should be changed without taking pig as a reference, since she is barely a threat to any sentient player.

However I cannot play dbd atm but with what I have seen I do believe sadako needs some changes as she requires a lot of coordination to counter, I just really hope they dont do a billy/slinger change and destroy the killer altho that would make her be clasified as fun like most of the killers that have been gutted before.

I just compared it to Pig because it's the only killer with an insta death mechanic base kit.

While Pig is weak, that is a problem of her chase and stealth power, not her traps which i would argue are really strong, but because she needs to down people to aply that pressure she can just not be able to do it fast enough to matter.

In the end i was just comparing mechanics and not mencioning Pig as the perfect state Dbd balance, because she is not.

But in my opinion while this insta death mechanics can bring some tension to matches they shouldn't be this reliable or common, especially if they require info that survivors don't get in order to counter it.

She's definitely not free, Tools of Torment is a chapter with one killer and 2 survivors. We paid good money for this chapter.

Shards are free, i got both survivors that way. Licensed characters you don't have a choice, you have to pay. That's what i am refering.

70 seconds if a survivor turn off.

    45 on sadako jump.

Unless you all go for the same TV should be no problem.

There are 7 TVs so if Sadako is always jumping on cd there is always going to be 3 TVs on.

Also TVs are always close to gens so not random rng in map.

I would rather wait, pick a tape and be safe than do a gen and maybe later i hope that i can see a TV on. Later is late.

It's way too random for an insta kill mechanic. Pig's traps reveal their aura all the time and you cna always interact with them as well as a fixed timer, besides she needs to down you first.

Sadako's tvs have what feels like random cooldowns because unless you have coms to know what is happening you have no info on what tvs are on or off, so it feels random.

Not being able to remove those stacks because you didn't knew that one tv was off and should have searched for another one, searching another one to put it while hoping for sadako to not just tunnel you out first chance she gets, because she has all the info she would need to do it while you have close to none.

Like great you picked up a tape, she knows where you, she knows what tvs you are close and if she hits you she can put you that much closer to death while forcing to get a tape back again, because that tape was destroyed, oh that tv might still be on cooldown, so you better search for another tv.

May of this issues are aliviated in SWF, but good luck in solo q.

Countering Sadako isn't as easy as pick up a tape and she is useless.

But whatever, somehow all survivors are really dumb but still win way too much against killers.

  • I will go with no, but i would be impressed if i am wrong.

Killers take 1 year to create as we are told. Not only bhvr created this killer not thinking or seeing how people would play, even tho they know of perks and patches that are coming to the game.

Second, what would they gain with a massive rework, i don't know if they can ever remove the 3 gen of her identity without new stuff "like a freddy rework", but would they gain from that.

She is a free character and original, so i don't see what bhvr would gain by wasting many resources to update her to level that she would need.

Freddy was licensed and a pop cultural icon, updating him would make some sense.

They can surprise, but not putting much hope on it right now.

  • @ARTRA said:

Reduced TV cooldown also means tapes appears more often.

May be just wait around 15 seconds so that TV turned on?

If sadako used that tv and later you found it, it has to be almost on again.

The tvs are turned off for 70 seconds. If you have to wait 70 seconds so i can get a tape, i will probably be dead before that.

And this is getting the tape, you still have to find the tv to put it.

Also, if you take a tape and try to do a gen next to it, well you better have a toolbox or someone else with you. Because the Tv will be on before you can finish it, and no you can't use the tape you got to turn it off even if you waited the 70s timer, you have to deliver it to another Tv.

In the end that is the only counter to her because of the weird limitations and cooldowns. Gen rush, get the gens done before she can create enough condemned pressure, abuse her lack of chase power to get time and move on.

It's not really fun for either side.

I will say atleast the games are quick compared to SM.

  • So are you calling everyone playing this game including streamers and pros dumb because they can't pick up tapes.

People already sreamed wolf enough saying that she was nerfed and weak. Yet she is giving everyone a hard time while barely having to work for it

  • Don't know, maybe to not give disadvantage to the survivor. I would be really angry if a killer found me because Nic Cage wouldn't shut up.

  • @OnryosTapeRentals said:

I'm hoping they give her at least a couple of weeks to settle into the game before considering any major changes. Right now it's hard to tell whether or not I'm getting Condemnation kills because it's genuinely overtuned or if survivors just haven't worked out how to play against her yet.

I am just worried about Sadako already having a big win rate before the buffs.

If her win rate becomes really desproporcional and she becomes a noob stomper, bhvr might feel forced to nerf her.

In the end, its not smart to make your majority of players unhappy, just for one killer.

Stepping in with a reminder to keep comments civil, please. It's ok if you don't agree with others, but please, let's not accuse people of "trolling" or be unnecessarily/overly negative toward others for their opinions or things they like about the game that do not break the rules.

To note as well, matches lasting very long stretches of time where a side is not progressing the game can be considered Griefing (holding the game hostage), and reportable, as noted in the Game Rules.

I am sorry to ask, but i don't understand what do you define as "holding the game hostage", it feels kinda vague. Like is a killer doing a 3 gen build and slowing a match to crawl where it takes more than 30 min griefing? Is it only griefing if they aren't progressing the game, like getting hooks, do getting downs and bleeding everyone griefing?

Second, the report system feels kinda useless. Idk if it's even working, as i play on console. So i have no idea if i am just wasting time. I think i heard about a feedback function coming to the game, but after a few games against cheaters, i have given up on that feature, kinda like the quality of match grade that i also don't know what it does.

  • Feels like a mixture of clown and wraith.

Question, do the drones still give KI, or not? Since you don't build up the exposed?

Also, wouldn't these numbers be a bit concerned when comboed with her haste effects?

Like, she whould be basically in Bloodlust 2 all the time, wouldn't that be problematic?

Anythig is better then what she is now.

Maybe with some number tweaks, cooldown number of drones or area size. Maybe that is a way to fix her.

But i think is kinda worryig when the only thing we can do to fix badly design killers is giving them haste or hindered to survivors.

There's more to playing killer then looping, the gens are an objective for killers and survivors, do you want killers to just let you do gens?

You can like what you like.

I don't like her and think she makes the game worse for everyone around her, but that is my opinion.

But making this post at the same time that the news of team eternal match against a SM player.

Like worst possible time to make that post, as SM is back on everyone's hate list.

  • @Xendritch said:

That's a terrible idea the ptb buff made her actually bearable to play there being a cooldown on placing a drone basically means you can't use your power in chase. They just need to get rid of shotgun speakers and the adi valente add-ons and make the drones give hindered instead of exposed and then she's not making games last 50 minutes with impossible skill checks while exposing them for free.

I am not saying it's a good change.

Just that with her current kit, that change created the problem.

But i think she just needs a full rework so she doesn't get to have no power in chase but to not be abusable for 3 gen and making everyone misarable.

I just worry that the SM rework will take a while. It's been a year since the twins. Which i don't even know if they need anymore, consedering the new killers

  • Boons are way too restrictive for general play.

They can be ok for swf, but in general they are just not worth it and if they don't bring insta value they are just bad for the survivors, as survivors will be wasting time setting the boons.

Thats why COH was the only good one, because it was busted, now all boons suffer because of their restrictions.

  • You choose the worst time to make this post. If this isn't just a troll post.

SM is the worst thing to be released in this game, because of how most SM play, they can't even be called a killer, but the fun police.

  • Survivors cosplaying as killers in the game would be the coolest skins ever in this game.

But i mean all survivors, not just Feng or Kate

  • @Peanits said:

We dove into this when we removed the Bloodpoint bonuses from BBQ & Chilli and We're Gonna Live Forever, but the gist is: We do not want Bloodpoints to dictate which perks you decide to use. Extra Bloodpoints, especially when the bonus is large, causes a lot of people to use a perk that they otherwise wouldn't have. This creates a situation where people feel the need to run that perk because if they don't, they aren't progressing as fast as they could be. This is not ideal, we want everyone to feel free to use the perks they want- whether they are the ones they consider the most useful or the most fun- not the ones that they need to in order to progress quickly.

This was a different story before the progression overhaul, but these days progression is much faster even without these bonuses. We're gradually phasing them out from various perks as they are updated.

My problem is not with the design phylosofy. But the fact that survivor Bps are way harder to get then killer, or atleast feel.

    Cenobite is too strong.

When I pick the box, why chain hunting is still activating? That's too strong!!!

    Nerf Cenobite !

This might help, if you are struggling.

During chain hunt, the chains always go waves of 3, so when you pick up the box, count until you have dodged 3 chains and then start working on the box.

Basically if you are working on the box you will not attacked by chains, but if you are in the middle of a wave of chains then they will still attack you and interrupt you.

Also, if you are the only survivor not downed, killed or on hook, NEVER do the box, chain hunt can never start when there is only one survivor up.

I could accept 1 free DC a day but after that a person needs to realize it's time to turn the game off and do something else. I can count on one hand in the 2 years I've been playing this game that I've DC'd. Every time I've done it I've turned the game off and called it a day.

I used to never DC until SM released, but after she released and was kinda popular at the start and with her tome, especially since we were still in the overbrine meta at the time. I just got the habit of just not bothering against her, i was and still kinda am really annoyed by that killer just existing and making everyone miserable.

Deja vu and being with friends is the only thing making me consider not just insta Dcing or kill myself on hook against SM.

Thankfully she is way less popular now. And Wesker might be plague right now, but i will take 20 games in row of Wesker, before a single SM match

  • @Orthane said:

Survivors NEED a secondary objective to go for, this is why things like Hex: Plaything are so good. It's not actually the Oblivious that is good, it's the fact that Survivors now have a secondary objective to worry about, which means that gens don't get done in 5-8 minutes. There needs to be some sort of Hex made baseline, personally, my vote is Hex: Ruin, and it cannot be cleansed for the first 80 seconds of the match, Ruin is already super weak and a near useless perk even with things like Undying. Having it made baseline would help slow down gens and give a single secondary objective early on which is when Survivors are strongest and killers are weakest. The game is often decided by the early game, if the Killer gets some good hooks before 2 gens pop there's a good chance the Killer will win, but right now 2 gens pop within the first minute of the match if that.

Survivors need to be given some other objective other than "Repair Generator" because it creates a system where often times you're forced to tunnel for even a single kill (which is also why using kill stats for balance is so narrow sighted and stupid) which feels bad for both sides. Totems already exist, as do hexes, so they should be used for more than just a perk specific tool that few people actually use because of how inconsistent/useless hexes are.

Maybe if you are playing a weak killer or a killer doesn't have a natural game delay or slowdown as part of your power.

But can you really argue that killers like nurse, blight and spirit need a base kit buff to make them better. Yes, to win with weaker killers you need slowdown, that is what perks are for, but i doubt creating a natural slowdown for every killer when the killer power level gap is this wide is a terrible idea. And for killers that already have natural slowdown like SM, it would make them even more obnoxious.

QOL changes are good and i like the concept of other objectives for survivors, but the game isn't designed with that in mind and maybe it never will be until a sequel.

And as base-kit, all the survivor side objectives are really a waste of time that rarely help nowadays.

Chests are an RNG fest that give you undrewhelming that maybe you can't even use "Why are broken keys and green maps still in their pool of items", totems don't do anything if neither side has perks related to them and all totem perks and boon perks are way too restrictive and hard to use if not in a team. The only exception being inner healing.

Mixed feelings cause other games don't have that issue; I fear it's the community's mindset, thankfully not ALL of the community but too many are very whiny.

That attitude affects the ENTIRE game cause now it's hard to get new players cause they hear how the DBD community is + it bleeds DBD players who are sick of it too.

I think the problem might be the nature of an assymetrical game and just how easy it is to create unfun expiriences.

Most games, multiplayer atleast, you have similar amount of strength and power, but that isn't the case in Dbd. No matter how good a survivor is, they won't be able to win if their team doesn't also colaborate.

Plus, it is way too easy to make the game really unfun for the other side with basically no penalties or disadvantages. Pick an easy killer like SM, bring 4 slowdown, map offering and do 3 gen strat. 90% of solos will either give up or just have an horrible expirience. For survivors, you need friends on discord but you can also make killer's blood boil.

People just lack empathy in this game, if you don't care about how the others feel and don't think about the others situations, it just leads to really toxic behaviour.

Maybe it's just the nature of assym games, to be honest Dbd is only one i played, so idk if this is common on other assym games.

Sounds like the game need a new batch of players cause I fear the player base is harming the game at this point.

    Doesn't really matter who plays.

The game creates unfun situations for both sides so getting salty and DCing will happen.

Maybe give everyone some free DCs per day, maybe like 3 free DCs so atleast the system gets used adn doesn't ruin the matches for everyone else.

But even then, i would probably use those Dcs against knight and SM, if i was given that system. Is it fair for those killers, maybe not, but maybe next time bhvr stops releasing killers with anti-fun, passive gameplay.

So idk how to fix the issue or if this is even an issue that needs fixing.

  • @EternalRique said:

I'll start with saying disconnect bots coming is a good thing but I'm worried about the position this put killer players in; as someone who play survivor and killer, Can Killer players DC if the entire lobby is bots? Will it count as a loss? Will they be given a penalty?

It's no secret some (all) of the killers are hated (especially the strong ones) so heavy DC's against them are expected. I expect to see Nurse/Blight/Spirit/Wesker/Skull Merchant (not strong but horrible to verse)/Knight/and more being filled in a lobby with bots and it'll basically be Custom Lobby but with blood points involved.

So I'm wondering what are the things on killer side of this to prevent one half of your game (that's just as important as the other half) from being given the short end of the stick?

Will DC penalties become longer for DC'ing survivors? Will killers have the option to opt out of full bot matches? Many questions that I didn't see answered surrounding this new mechanic and I'm wondering.

Also before anyone become "like that" cause I know how many DBD players can be, I mostly play Survivor (David King main) and I play killer occasionally (Nurse main); I do personally feel to speak about anything on the game you should at the bare minimum play both sides but that's just me but I say that to avoid the whole "You're a killer main!" or "You are such a survivor main!" When I do what a game is meant for, to be played, and all of it be played at that.

Also if any of the questions I've posed have been answered already, I'd love to see, if you can post it!!

If you make the DC penalties longer then survivors will just kill themselves on hook to get the same result and not get the DC penalty.

So what is best, making DCing the better option so atleast the other survivors get that bot and accept that some killers like SM and Knight will just be a custom match every game.

I dont know what is the best option, it's cool that this feature is being placed to improve survivor from DCs and loose the match, but most survivors already just kill themselves on hook to avoid the penalty.

Maybe just remove the DC penalty for everyone Killer and Survivor and notify the killer if all survivors currently on the match are bots and give him the option to just end the match right there with the BPs that you got until that point.

  • Half of his add-ons are busted.

Nerf his add-ons then i would see if he needs base-kit nerfs or not.

It's insane that his add-ons aren't in bhvr priority list for nerfs.

  • Cooldown starts when breaking a hook and not touching it

  • As survivor, i find fun in the trials. The matches are very different and unique, so i find fun trying to improve and just have a good time, especially with friends. Teamwork, looping the killer and just trying to outplay the situations you are putted in, gives me an adrenaline rush.

As killer i find fun just messing around with builds on my favourite killers.

I also find it fun when survivors and killers just act chill with each other for a few moments. Those moments of humanity behind the screen, i find them really memorable.

what your point? survivors do get mad at killers for killing survivors....

I just think it's dumb to get mad at the other side for playing the game.

Survivors cannot win unless you do the gens. So why should someone be mad that survivors are doing gens. Killers need to chase survivors to kill them, so why should a sirvivor be mad that the killer is chasing him.

It's just stupid. They are just playing the game.

  • The first perk is a turbo tunneler enabler. Basically you are giving everyone PH purple add-on that removes BT. That one would be really problematic.

    Really like the third one.

Thanks for the suggestions here, we do have a few changes for the EMP's in particular ready for an upcoming hotfix. We'll be looking at reducing the EMP crates themselves to 4 per map, the generation time increased to 100s (currently 90s), and Survivors will also be slowed whilst charging an EMP by 10% as well as increasing the EMP charge time itself to 2.5s from the current 2s.

Duration of the pod disabling from an EMP will also be decreased down to 45s. There's also some score changes as we noticed Devious points were a little on the low side.

    How do those sound?

Those changes sound good. But i am worried that reducing the disabling time might encourage people to play more passive and guarding gens.

Besides, since Singularity can destroy hacked pods with no cool down, i think that change will only buff a play style very annoying while not affecting much his chase.

Bro I used SB on survivor for a simple reason.

It's brain dead easy to use and it always work.

As a killer main I couldn't believe how easy it was until I tried it.

So yeah, go preach that non-sense to others.

I never said SB wasn't braindead easy to use.

That's why used it, even before the DH nerf. It was so much more easy value and not having to deal with mindgames or Lag, i just run fast and you can't do anything about it.

Fearmonger is really the only perk that counters SB.

And the perk is still good against fearmonger, but you feel way more limited as you can't recharge SB while doing gens.

But, on the other hand, this i will give you. If you have SB stored and go do a gen. Fearmonger makes it super easy to 99 your SB.

Still, it's this or no counter. Because SB does not have counter play, never had.

  • Remove the 3 gen killers and then i would agree.

Until then, this perk is a god send against 3 gen SM players.

Wouldn't be able to complete a game against that SM today if it wasn't for this perk.

Also, the 3 gen that she created wasn't part of first 3 gens that the perk showed.

  • Didn't get much expirience as most people were using map offerings yesterday for some reason.

So, the map looks cool, but i always feel lost of where you are. It's cluttered and hard to understand.

The loops felt good as survivor, but without windows i just don't understand what some structures are.

I would say that the map is probably good for stealth killers

  • I don't think Adrenaline needs nerfs, but here some suggestions:

    • Adrenaline doesn't activate after being unhooked
    • Adrenaline makes you exhausted for the rest of the trial
    • Remove the interaction with Freddy
  • If you walk around the entire time. If you have it on cooldown holds SB in cooldown for the time it was.

So survivors need to slow themselves to only get the 5 sec, or have their SB cooldown not go down while doing gens.

It doesn't destroy the perk, but it's the best counter to SB because of how the perk works

  • Enjoyable.

Was afraid of him being another 3-gen killer, but with the EMPs you can really deny him from using that playstyle.

It's fun trying to gather EMPs to mess with his power or try and help another survivor.

While in chase, his power is really scary without an EMP, but doesn't feel overwhelming, feels like there is enough room for you to make plays against him constantly TP to you.

I will say, most singularitys i faced were really bad, constantly trying to monitor gens with his pods which just made him waste time since we were hacking them with the EMPs.

But there was one good singularity that used his pods for info and chases that managed to kill us all.

So, idk if he is bad, but i think he is way harder to play then Skull merchant and i a lot of singularities waste way too much time in camera mode making his games go by really fast.

He might be weak, or players need to get better at him. I haven't bought him yet, no iri shards for him. So i idk.

  • I disagree. Fearmonger is really good against the best Exhaustion Perk SB and combos really well with any stealth build or killer, making it very dificult to recover exhaustion while in chase.

Blood echo is niche, it's only good on hit and run killers or killers like plague and legion that make survivors injured all the time, but since the med-kits nerf i believe it's way better.

The new perk from singularity, the debuff is the most severe, but idk how to exactly combo with anything yet

  • @fulltonon said:

Stack or not plain basically unconditional 3% haste without any counter is literally a bad designed perk, I wish BHVR to actually hear the feedback and fix the problem.

It has conditions, but i don't see exhaustion perks or add-ons being very popular from Killers, so becomes less of a factor.

Fearmonger, blood echo and the new perk from singularity look good, and most killers have add-ons that inflict exhaustion.

Don't know. I just know that this perk counters killers bloodlusting at pallets and laggy hits, two of things i think are the most annoying in chase.

So yeah, of course i love it. If it is OP, idk. Maybe, but since you can't use it with the best exhaustion perks, i think it's ok.

I guess we will have to see.

I'm loving this combo. The risk reward factor is so exiliharating, and the 3%+9% vault speed makes my chases feel snappy and fast paced.

some of yall are crazy, really trying to argue that staying injured isnt risky. rip this community has lost all brain cells.

    Agreed, i love this combo.

Honestly, i just love stop getting hit while vaulting because of bad connection.

Any perk that reduces the chances of that happening is gold for me.

So this will be my go to for now on.

  • What do you expect from survivors?

It's the only way to win, why are you mad for survivors to do their objective.

Its like getting mad for killers for killing survivors.

Also, its the only part of the game survivors have control, every other playstyle isn't reliable.

  • Actually, i feel like the games have gotten harder since the DH nerf.

Before i got a lot of free hits from fail DHs, now i have SB and Litjes extending chases for free

if something is favoring a side over the other, it is problematic.

It is impossible for a map to be 100% fair.

    There to many variables:

    • Map RNG
    • Killer
    • Killer's build
    • Survivor's build
    • Skill level

IT is impossible for a map to be balanced when there are so many variables, a map might be survivor sided, but against other killer's it is not.

So, i think only the most problematic maps need to be fixed. Ormond isn't one of the problematic maps. The map is kinda like Dead Dawg for me, i know it favours more one side, but i always enjoy it, i don't care which side i am playing.

  • @Spectralfx said:

Those to maps are so one sided in favor of the survivors its just unfun.

those second floor gens that are literally right next to a safe window are assinine... why not just give free gens to the survivors while you're at it?

    those maps are absolutely horrendous.

I don't agree that Ormond should be in the same tier as those other maps.

Yes the map is more survivor favoured, but it's not problematic compared to other maps.

Personnaly i just like the map for how simple it is and the snow aesthetic.

But the size is medium to large, but there aren't any really abusable loops and the map even has some really bad filler pallets. Besides the spawn logic of the map is really predictable when compared to other maps.

Hey friend, I don't think anyone would argue that spending four minutes on the ground is a rocking good time for all involved. But the ability to pick yourself up unconditionally had some very clear knock-on effects elsewhere in the game and we saw them very clearly during the PTB where it was tested. If something fixes one problem and creates several others, then it's not something that we can really justify doing.

This does not mean that we think that being slugged to death is a great time. It just means that this wasn't the right fix for it, and rather than barreling ahead with it, we would rather give it the time and thought to find something that works. But all that said, putting words in our mouths isn't going to help anything. If you insist on inserting your own assumptions into our responses, it's just going to sour your opinion from the get-go. We're not evil masterminds who are out to get you specifically, we're just trying to make a game that's fun for everyone.

I agree that the base-kit UB was too strong and possibly abusable.

But would the team be open to suggestions to nerf suggling like, giving base-kit endurance after a pick.up similar to unhooking, making the 4 min timer reset every time you are brought back to the injured state, or making the base recovert progress end at 99%, so picking someone of the ground is faster.

Are any of this suggestions potential changes that could help. Of course, i don't know if they would be problematic, i am just wondering if there are other options that the devs are looking in into

  • @pigslittlepet said:

I actually agree with almost all of this. Just two tweaks I would make. I used to be a pig main and I wouldn't decrease her base terror radias but I would buff her base crouch speed and her enter and exit from crouch.

And pyramid head I would reverse the change in the ptb. I'm a current pyramid main and this change is going to overpower his tunnel game and cannot come to main lobby's. I would also increase the range a cage moves to 16 meters.

Yeah, the PH buff in the PTB is really nuts, i also hope its reverted.

For Pig i like those changes, but i would like her TR to be dropped since she originaly had a 24m TR when she launched. It would be easier to iniate ambushes without having to relly on info perks as much.

i think you have good attempt to improve a lot of killers, but some killer are more complex to improve then others. I think what I would do for trapper is allow trapper to throw his traps similar to placing freddy snares. This would allow him to use his power in the chase and make him more engaging to play.

Some killer are simple and just small number change or some add-on changes can improve them. other's need a bit more refinement.

Yeah, i agree. Some killers are in a really good spot or just need a few tweaks. But characters like trapper if don't receive a rework would be either still to weak or really unfun

  • @Emeal said:

How many of these Killers do you actually play yourself? cause there are some pretty broken suggestions on that list there.

Really? You think some of the suggestions are broken? I can ask you for examples, pls. I tried to be resonable and not give many suggestions or be vague on killers that i don't play.

Killers that i play, well my favourite killers to play are: Plague, Doctor, Artist, Pig, Wesker. But i also play but less frequent, Bubba, Billy, Wraith, Myers, Deathslinger and Cenobite. All the other i either don't play at all, don't have them or very rarely play them.

So for them the suggestion came from watching gameplay of those killers or when i face them as survivor

  • @YOURFRIEND said:

They want to stop "face camping" which is apparently being within 16 meters of a survivor. Removing hook grabs doesn't fully address the issue as Leatherface, huntress and trickster can still sit there and deny unhooks with their power.

I am not saying to remove the feature. Just wondering why not go first for a more simple solution.

Yes, the new feature will help in situations like Bubbas, Huntresses or trickesters, but removing hook grabs would be easier to implement in the mean time and be more impactful for the majority of the play base, especially solo queue, because that is when i see hook grabs happening more often.

  • Swamp and Midwitch are my least favorite overall.
