  • I don't even recognize what most of the perks even are and can't remember what they even do. So often times it feels like playing with no perks. The most recent one having to stun or blind killer 3 times I really didn't like since the perks were mostly useless for the objective.

Perks are..... Ace ready to whip you with a belt, some cocky guy with a bat, Myers lady with 4 skulls and a fish?

  • There's 3 certain gens you have to repair and once EGC starts the door will open. Can't ever remember which gens though.

  • Robot killer prob the most map dependant killer in the game is either it can place its bio pods in good places or terrible places to make use of its power there's not much of a in between.

Need to use EMPs wisely against this killer now since before the nerfs they were way too plentiful, survivors should have a means of counter play, but they should never be allowed to shut off a killer power so easily with no down side.

  • Aliens Dark Descent

Warrior class Xenomorph as the killer.

The female protagonist i forget her name.

You....you realize that's how game balancing actually works right? You're supposed to balance around top end play, not low end play.

For team games or 1v1 sure, but not for a game like this when it's 1v4 that's how the Death Garden game died. Trying to balance this game around the higher tier players which only makes up just a small minority of players can easily destroy balance for the lower tier players which are the vast majority. If balance is ruined for the vast majority then players are gonna quit and you'll have a dead game very quickly.

  • The random skill check you get the moment you let go of the gen resulting in the gen popping always the most annoying.

  • There's a DBD Twitter post stating there will be further changes to the EMPs. I don't have the link.

Cases reduced to 4, printing time increased to 100 seconds, while charging the EMP you slow yourself by 10%. Bio-pods stun time reduced to 45 seconds. Can't remember if there's were other changes.

  • It's alright to give the survivors a counter play option, but when they're given so much that they can just shut down the killer's power should not be a thing. Killer is suppose to be the unstoppable force in this game. The only bullying survivors should be allowed to have is flashlight clicking and tee bagging.

Being able to grab one on the fly, using sometimes 2 or even 3 of them in a chase with no slowdown on the survivor is just unacceptable.

  • Make sense why the Freddy would camp and I don't blame him. 3 gens already done and Freddy just got his first hook. Popping gens too fast will just tilt the killer and more likely to camp.

  • My only guess would be Otz putting a vid up last several days showing a good perk build and show case for Death Slinger.

  • I remember this stupid challenge. Had to throw the match for it just kept throwing one bottle then switch to the other to get it.

  • I've yet to play against a SM as survivor so I can't comment playing against her other than what I've been hearing. She has the worst reputation for camping a 3 gen set up at the start and dragging the match on for so long.

I do play her a lot and find her really enjoyable, she does have a lot of good add ons to mix up the build you want to run. While she is the strongest holding a 3 gen, she can have a strong chase depending on build. Dropping a drone at a loop would encourage them to leave or risk getting exposed.

My favorite build to use on her Brutal Strength, Bamboozle, Weskers fast vault perk, 4th perk can be changed up, but I like Oppression. The two add ons both purple, can't remember what they're called. One slow survivors by 5% the other one speeds up all your actions. Meant to catch survivors and end chases very quickly.

I throw 3 drones down at w/e gens 4th drone always keep for loops. I don't really go for 3 gen unless survivors do it to themselves.

Forgot, her drones are busted on maps with multiple floors like RPG, The Game, and the Silent Hill map. Since you can place a drone above or below a gen forcing survivors to either take the exposed or go way out the way to disable it.

  • There was another update on the PTB of you missed it. Reduced EMP cases from 7 to 5. Increased time it takes for a case to print a EMP increased from 80 to 90. Survivors can no longer see the cases while holding a EMP. Overclock got a small buff, can't remember what. If it counts disabled bio pods are now very obvious when disabled.

I would say about B tier, maybe low A. I don't play PTB and I wait till PTB goes live.

  • I always thought what if he had a reload mechanic like huntress and trickster. Carrys a max of idk 3-5 syringe. One is spent whenever he uses his power regardless how many times he bounces off something. He already stabbing himself with them and tossing them away every time he rushes make some sense he gonna have to reload somewhere instead of having unlimited supply.

  • My guess was names were shown and "name and shame" is not allowed on forums for any reason. Also reporting hackers on forums likely against the rules just submit a support ticket with evidence.

  • I'm also getting really disappointed with this game I'm really not enjoying it. Survivors always been the chill easy going side while killer has always been stressful.

Survivors have been getting a lot of QoL updates which gives them indirect buffs from accessibility improvements or changes that forces the killer to play a bit more nice with the base BT, anti face camp coming soon and maybe a base unbreakable.

Killers get what? A slight buff to kicking stuff basekit and slight M1 cool down. Most gen regress perks been nerfed to uselessness letting gens fly fast you really can't play to have fun you have to play scummy and every game is a stress test.

Killers can't even get a dam FoV slider as an accessibility improvement for players with motion sickness and survivors get the visual heart thing so they can pay less attention. Ringu girl gets nerfed indirectly really hard from that.

Swear it feels like BVHR being biased and hypocrites sometimes.

  • So what would even be the purpose of escaping through the exit gates, hatch and EGC? If survivors can't die and match ends after a certain point threshold been met then that kinda ruins the whole objective of repairing 5 gens and then escaping.

Another flaw I'm seeing hook states and no dying. What would happen if the killer has every one slugged and/or on a hook or camps one player really hard? Hook state and bleed out prob be on a much shorter duration maybe.

Maybe as a different game mode sure, but it's gonna need a very different objective for survivors for it to work. A mix of pigs jigsaw boxes and gens? Repair a gen, get a key piece, get 3 pieces for a full key to allow only the holder to escape through a gate. If you die/hooked lose a key piece. Escaping or dying will reset and respawn you in a random locker. This key cannot be dropped its carried in its own unique item slot.

Like to look at flaws and how things be abused while brainstorming my own mess.

Please tell me it’s a joke?

whatever happened to ‚no real people‘?

think that rule only applies to killers. Having killers based on real people and/or events will likely cause huge problems for BHVR legally and morally stain them in a really bad way. Survivors based on real people though is a different matter, I haven't heard anything and it would be more acceptable than killers based off real people.

  • Devs don't need permission from license owners to make balancing changes or bug fixes. For cosmetics and the killer's 3 perks the names and icon pics still needs the license holders approval.

  • Death Slinger was pretty good to play as and against until they nerfed his ADS. Now he just feels terrible to play as and not seen anymore.

Dredge haven't seen any love or hate for him other than a few people that can't see when nightfall is active.

Most other non licensed killers are meh.

  • One moment I remember really should out for me when I was playing Artist one of the Japanese map. (Oni, Spirit) i was on one end of the map chasing Bill and saw aura of 2 survivors healing each other opposite end of the map. I fire 2 birds at them hit them both. They ignored the birds and finished their heals as I charged up the 2nd wave of 2 birds. They both split one left side other right and i managed to hit both of them injuring them while I was on the other end of the map while chasing Bill which I knocked down with a M1 moments later. So they both saw where I was. Really wished I was able to record that moment.

Another fun one with Dredge when still somewhat new. Start of game, Lethal Pursuer, made a prediction warping to a locker that a survivor checked very fast hook. BBQ made another prediction, HI MEG! Best part there was a 3rd survivor very close by just watching it happen.

  • I got little time on me so only read the TLDR and rushing my post.

Imo it should stay in the game as there needs to be a risk on survivors that decide to unhook in the killer's face or they can just dive bomb for the unhook with the killer right there and possibly both of or at least on of them will get away. Could possibly be abused by survivors to hook trade to delay a kill for a long as possible in the survivors favor.

  • I had that problem myself, the thing did show up when started up a new lvl 1 bloodweb after a +1 prestige.

  • IMO it all depends how experienced the player is. For newer players it would be killer sided since most survivors are just bad, either they can't loop, being too slow doing objectives, etc. For much more experienced players it flips quite hard becoming very survivor sided since they know what to do, how to loop, waste killers time and getting gens done very quickly.

yes they do, theyre entirely new. same with sadako's ultra rare, birkin, the crypt tv skins, etc etc, all are entirely new models.

I highly doubt that, they just look different on the outside is all it's just a new skin. The underlying model and animation rig is still the same as their base model.

The only killer skin I know of that might be different(?) from the base rig is HUNK Legion and it's a small difference. Looked bad on released and needed changing.

  • How is everyone here saying DH now have a max of 2 uses when it activates for use after every safe unhook or getting unhooked yourself? So it still has potential for more than just 2 uses.

  • Where are the patch notes located? I'm on phone and I swear BHVR seems to always hide them in the one place I can never find when I'm looking for them.

  • I can't post any pics, but BVHR deserves that meme.

Patrick - BVHR and Rayman - Community. You're nerfing X so it would be completely understandable and reasonable to change Y right? Yep. Then do Y. No because *reasons we're just gonna nerf the hell out of X. ANGRY MOB is it then

  • Also with the changes to medkits now having 24 charges across all of them, if the killer brings Franklin Demise just need to tap them to make the med kit useless.

I can't remember was it 16 or 24 charges to fully heal yourself with a medkit?

  • No idea why they haven't added this feature in the game yet since it's way past due. There's about 8 pages worth of perks and get annoyed as hell trying to find something even worse if I can't remember exactly what it was called or where exactly it's at. Charms have like idk 30 pages it's like they're all just thrown in a dumpster good luck trying to find that 1 charm you want.

flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, think i missed it double check. flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip. WHERE IS IT?! flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, oh was at page 3.

  • Really gonna complain about SM? She's one of the worst killers in the game at the moment with no chase power. Holding a 3 gen is the only thing she's good at and go read the Dev notes there's planned changes for her already too shift her power around.

  • I think the biggest difference between the two is consistency. Gen regression your always getting some value from it as long the survivors aren't touching it or if its a burst regress like pop. While gen blocking you really only get value for it if the survivors want to go to the gen, but a block gen that a survivor doesn't even go to is lost value.

  • @TeabaggingGhostface said:

That would be pretty good as a perk, but not basekit

Mean old Object of Obsession? No that was one of the most busted perks and had to be removed.

  • @Phasmamain said:

The removing of claw traps had to be axed otherwise you could hold her drones hostage easily which would be super unfun for her

I'm not sure if it really is bad, but I think it would be fine if the survivors were able to hold the claw traps/drones hostage. It'll have huge risk to it giving the SM a 7% haste, pallets would break if they vault one and never being able to hide with the tracking while the battery last.

  • Still waiting for the buffs where he can just claim more bear traps from lockers instead of laying out on the map randomly like this.

  • They changed it one or 2 patches ago. Killers just need to get the 4k with their 3 own perks. The grade doesn't really matter now. Unless I'm missing something I've quit bothering with adepts myself.

  • I got a lot of mixed feelings myself about all this. Devs have been giving survivors too much free information that is hurting the killer player to much. The little indicator that show survivors what the other is doing to help close the gap between solos and teams is fair enough. Then there's Knight and Skull Merchant that have WAY too much free info to survivors. Took them rather long to dial it back a bit and remove some of the free info. Swear these devs don't know how to do proper balancing to keep things both fair and fun for both sides. Too often a part of it gets butchered too much and then it's completely ruined.

  • I've played vs bots with DH and yeah. They can use it better than most players can do they're a legit training tool if you want to get better dealing with DH.

  • Play some really mean build that'll make survivor experience really un fun but creative.

Pinhead with the Iri add on to see his own box. Hex face the darkness, thrill of the hunt, stand still be undetectable, sloppy butcher. Job is to protect the box and let the chain hunt do all the work, they'll never be allowed to heal or do bones.

Pig with face mask, rule #2, Hex plaything, pentomento, then w/e perks either doctors map or RPD. They'll have al lot more than just gens they'll have to do and they're mostly blind.

  • Still a lot less stressful than playing killer.

  • I'll stop calling it spaghetti code once they stop releasing more bugs than content every patch.

  • Gives way to much information to survivors how he's using his power. Can't do any real pathing or patrol routes with power just instant drop and go.

  • You got it mixed up Eruption triggers exploding the gens when a survivor is downed not hooked.

  • I've never played, but from what seen it never was about the top 1% balance. As listed from others they've had problems with marketing, server security, over hyping the game before official release.

The biggest problems I've noticed myself the teens had a lot more things to do and far more enjoyable to play as. Monsters were the opposite, dull, boring more stressful, very high learning curve for new players and if the teens were way above your skill the role just flips. The monster noob wouldn't feel like they're a threat and they just hide while the teens are the ones hunting the monster.

  • I say the mobile phone version best one. Got so much better stuff than the core version. Leader boards, new and better mori animation that's long overdue, better search feature for perks, etc, etc.

Mean while the core version getting left in the dust.

  • After slamming into the entity blocker just M1 the target and quickly pick them up. There should be enough time for you to pick them up done it a few times myself against cocky survivor players.

If it's a slam into another slam that takes longer than a M1 and you'll lose the target.

  • I completely forgot about this. There been any results about which page won?

  • Dead Dog Saloon a really good map for Trapper with some choke points and all the tall grass. It still mostly comes down to the survivors if they're potatoes and step in the trap.

  • Something I'll be glad so if I just wanna mess around with a really stupid meme build, testing out just practicing how to play certain killers or techs.

Just need to remember there's no progress of any sort when playing vs bots.
