Solution:
Play solo and stop relying on your friends, dude.

I personally hate going up against tunnelers. Except there's one acceptation. If it's down to 2 gens or 3 gens and 3 quarters of a gen completed and nobody is dead, then you have to apply pressure somehow or else the match will just be a massive failure for the killer. However that's kind of what I do in desperate times when I want to win, and if some killers do it, well sure it's annoying but if there's no pressure applied on the survivors than that's equally annoying for the killer.
However unless you're talking about first hook 5 gens, saved from hook, chased down while other 3 survivors gen rush the killer because he lacks skill to do anything but tunnel the first guy he catches, then yes that's no longer a strategy but the killer wanting to just be an #########.

Yes, thematically it makes sense. But balance wise it's too much.
It's like if Plague could use corrupt purge pretty much whenever. If you ignore the perquisites and time limit, then corrupt purge would be the 3rd strongest ability in the game.
The other 2 being Nurse Blink and Oni demon form.
Blink because you really can't make an ability stronger than that, and Oni because it's similar levels of snowball and downing potential but it trades some anti-loop for a ######### ton of mobility.
Oni's ability is also balanced using the same methods as corrupt.
But either way, having Shivs like you described would be insanely overpowered.
Well I still wish they could have shivs or so. Just the whole Darkness Among Us Chapter needs a MASSIVE rework/fix to both Legion and Ormands. Since F**K Ormands due to how poorly designed it is.
-
@NuclearBurrito said:
Not a criticism of the suggestions themselves, but I would like to point out that the Legion DOES have map pressure, lots of it in fact. The problem is that he lacks the lethality to back it up.
Looking at the 2 abilities you suggested, I would NOT implement both of them. Having them on top of the main ability would be far too powerful. The shiv concept is very similar to Huntress hatchets in terms of usecase which is insane snowball potential, and having that on top of stealth and the amount of information frenzy gives would be a bit TOO crazy.
So out of those, I think the stealth idea has the most potential. Simply for a few reasons, all of which relate to how awesome stealth Killers are in terms of game health:
- Stealth Killers are great against injured Survivors. So giving Legion some stealth would massively improve his lethality
- Stealth is countered by situational awareness and looping. Meaning that it can be countered without requiring any complicated tricks on top of what you have to do in order to deal with the Frenzy
- It is easy to limit stealth to avoid it being overpowered
Projectile attacks, especially if they can down, are not nearly as easy to balance. So a shiv attack would be better suited as a standalone Killer idea.
I mostly thought of the shiv fact since Legion has trouble ending chases like certain killers (Wraith and Trapper), and most times the game comes down to how fast you can stop the chase. Also the shiv idea is because if they're supposed to be really violent teenagers, then make them Violent show the potential threat they hold and have them become way more violent. I mean it is quite violent to stab someone with a fatal stab and wait for them to bleed out, however Deep Wound is clearly survivor sided because of the many counters to it and how really ineffective it is with downing people since everyone knows whenever it's inflicted they need to sprint and mend.

cool idea. really but. my guy legion has been filled with poision and gutted of everything. i just cant see him go through more pain. unless there is a change that makes his power better or just change him to something we can all agree on.
I feel like these powers can help him somewhat rise up a little bit out of where he might be. Mostly the throwing knives, since they're said to be "Ultra Violent", sure it's ultra violent to drive by stab someone and repeat.

Please, someone give me feedback.

It would be good, but not overpowered. As affected survivors would need to consume time looking for the second hex so that they don’t get jumped by the killer while on a gen. Also, the oblivious status effect is very useful for the killer since it allows them to be stealthy in their approach.
But I mean at the same time how often is that going to be used? I mean it suffers the same thing all Hex perks do, when the totem is cleansed the perk is basically an empty slot. Not to mention it doesn't exactly benefit a lot for the killer. I mean maybe add like a 15% increase to bloodpoints for brutality while the people are affected by the perk.

I'd love to hear feedback and I've noticed a lot of people and viewed this so, please. I'd like to have some help here.

I'm not sure how appropriate it would be to add a chapter based off of a children's film/book.
I've heard a little from the book and it feels far from a children's book. Because as an example of a real childrens horror story book series (Goosebumps) I never recall talking about a bloody rat corpse.

Well it's interesting to have a Robotic killer in Horror, because let's be honest there has never been a successful Horror Movie that has the main killer being a robot. FnaF is kind of that successful horror story where the robots can actually be scary. Sure it's a surprise it's taken them this long to consider the concept of it happening. But in honesty I don't mind the idea if it's done correctly that is.

Where was that posted? Reddit?

Thanks, almost forgot to credit!
- I edited the entire teaser itself. The background is actually in-game from FNaF as an ending cutscene. I used mist and various other atmospheric edits that were simply stock images.
- Down to the real credits, the Springtrap render is most likely done by Misterfab1970. I believe he did the model and render, I found it on Deviantart and nowhere else exclusively. This is what I assume because I could not find a concrete answer.
I honestly wish I could get help for my recent idea. Like to make a teaser image for my Chapter idea. I've never suggest a fnaf chapter mostly due to the fact people would hate it more than they'd like it, but I would love to see more robotic creatures as killers in horror things, since robots aren't technically something that's often used in the horror franchise.

Who made this artwork?

No.
- He'd over power ever killer
- Jojo's Bizarre Adventure characters are too good for this Toxic community.

Also THE FIEND would look a little like a Mind Flayer from DnD with the octopus head and Jacob would slightly look like Paladin Dance from Fallout 4.

Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson) in the game.
YES

I'm going to say... EH? Because it's not good but neither is it awful.

The idea for a totem to spawn in the basement would be good. But better idea for it. What if this perk teleported survivors to the basement and the entity blocked off the exit so they can't escape and when that happens the killer will get a sound notice and see their auras in the basement. The entity blocking them off from escaping will last 25/35/45 seconds. Based on the tier if it's tier 2 or 3 it'll grab the survivor who broke the totem and the survivor with the most progress done in the basement. That'd be cool. But incredibly challenging to code.
-
Quick note about "Make them Remember" - It is an exhaustion perk! BUT you will not gain exhaustion if you use partly use this perk. There are three ways to gain exhaustion for this perk because it's slightly overpowered and in ways better than the other exhaustion perks. Because this is a token based perk, you can only receive the exhaustion effect when you: Use all three tokens in a chase, lose the killer after using a token or two, or if you're hit by the killer after using a token or two. This is a Dead Hard + SB, BL and Lithe perk all in one annoying perk that's primary goal is to buy your other friends some time.
-
I just changed it to Fix this. And I'm starting to regret making this discussion because only 3% of the discussions are actually people who're helpful and the rest are just whiny little survivor mains who feel very entitled to talk about the killer perks being bullshit when all of their perks are pretty much worse.

@Atrushan88 said:
Blame the Balanced Landing nerf and Oni coming out. Sprint Burst lowers Oni's first hit potential, and it's one of the better exhaustion perks at the cost of annoyance for the survivor using it.
I'm surprised that someone is actually complaining about Sprint Burst of all things when people consider Dead Hard to be the most "OP" exhaustion perk, lol. Sprint Burst is a good solid perk, but all it does it help the survivor get to a loop rather than be caught out in the middle of nowhere at a gen. It also has the most skillful gameplay out of the exhaustion perks because you can use it to make the killer think you have Lithe or even BL(depending on how close he is to you and how close you are to a drop).
Dead Hard is only "OP" for people who can pull off timing really good. Besides sometimes survivors that use Dead Hard do as the perk is title, they Die - Hard. (Not a Die Hard joke.)
Most of them waste it to get to a loop, or waste it by charging right up to the killer making them miss a shot, sometimes those people are the ones that really get #########.

The perk needs to be fixed if its not fuctioning properly. Nerfs and buffs should be evaluated on working as intended effects.
Tbh a lot of perks need to be fixed. Exhaustion perks (this'll hurt me badly when I play survivor again and it's already been a pain for me) are just, REALLY painful to handle most times. Just wish there was a better way though to deal with 99 bullcrap with strong exhaustion perks like SB, other than countering perk with perk.

99%ing isn't rare.
If your so worried about it then I'd recommend trying out the new blood echos perk.
And before you say "reee perks are not counters", remember what the function of a perk is. The whole point is that a perk makes some aspect of the game easier or more reliable in order to cover your weaknesses or synergize with your strengths.
Not everyone has a problem with Sprint Burst, Killers that switch targets often, such as Legion, can mitigate the perks effect by quite a bit by doing so, and the various downsides to the different use cases for the perk keep it in check compared to other exhaustion perks.
Thus, if you have a problem with the perk the existence of other perks to counter it is specifically for people like you
Well at least you gave me more suggestions and tips than being a total cuck like a few people I'm reading on.
I thank you for recommending the Blood Echo.

If sprint burst needs a nerf (which it doesn't) then so does Ruin. More than three quarters of all my games killer has Ruin and it just takes away from the diversity of the game, over time, when every single game killer has ruin + PGTW +BBQC.
You know you can still play the game with ruin up. Yeah it makes it last longer but I'd rather have a game that lasts longer when I play killer rather than a game that just zips by me without giving me a moment to react. Also what the hell is PGTW?

Ok so you want the 99 to be removed?
To be honest all I want in the game is to play it. Since it's hard to play a game when nobody else is taking it as it is, A GAME. It's like in the competitive league with half the survivor mains, and the rest of them are toxic and sweaty. Same can be said for kill yes, but all I want from this is to actually PLAY the GAME. It's not technically a game or technically anything fun when people are being jackasses for literally no real reason.

As soon as I read the title, I somehow knew I was gonna read about someone experiencing survivors who 99% their sprintburst. While I was pretty pissed about ppl who were using sprint burst exploits before, ppl 99% their sprintburst is really just a sign of good gameplay.
Mostly annoying gameplay.

Even if it was a bug, doesn't mean it needs a NERF, it has to be FIXED. Those are completely different things.
Yeah ok I get it. But just, something has to be done. I want to play the game where I can get one kill or at least annoy the survivors and make the game last a little longer than 3 minutes since most apparently just gen-rush through Ruin or find it instantly.
-
@Artemis_LH said:
Sprint burst can be awesome. Does not need a Nerf (how would you do that without making it 100% useless anyways?).
I'd say just nerf the recovery time. It's a really strong perk in ways for looping giving survivor's the extra steps ahead and let me tell you, survivors most times are PAINFUL. I mean I should expect them to be ungodly amounts of painful. But come on, it feels as if they've had it on a 15 second cool down.
Again, to specify. It FEELS like it's 15 seconds, but it's not. So don't say I said the cool down's 15 seconds, I'm not saying that's the case but it's just a feeling on my end.

Did you just start playing 2 months ago?
No, I've been playing for a while. I've gone against sprint burst many of times but it used to be a rare sight to see sprint burst at times. But this is different. I know for a fact something is wrong. The 99% is possible but I'm still calling Bullshit with this damn perk.

Oops

It's good, but my only problem is that it would never happen. Because (Sorry for being a nerd) it goes against everything the Predator's stand for. The Yautja's have a code when it comes to hunting; they don't kill for the killing - they kill for sport and purely for sport. Survivors can't really fight back, Predator's kill what fight and challenge them. That's the point of Predators, (kind of why he worked in MKX).

I'd find this hard to rank in terms of power. To me, it seems like he's meant to get his lunges off via sneaking up to people, but if he still retains his TR that'd be kinda meh. The instadown might balance that. Dunno. Depends on how advanced the free-roaming AI is.
Allow me to explain, when he does his LEAPING HUG action it would make his terror radius lower to 6 meters (Like Tier 1 Myer's since it feels like he has no TR in that Tier). But if you look at the items "80's Horror Movie" is the item that will Insta-down survivors when you achieve a successful LEAPING HUG attack on them. But in my case, the fact that you can use Pallets to Stun chucky off if he does latch onto survivors, the fact that when he latches onto survivors to give them a chance to get him off, and the fact that if you fail the skill checks and he can put you in dying state if you fail all of them. It feels more Balanced that way, also the fact if he latches onto a survivor who runs for a pallet and another survivor helps it wastes a pallet and thus makes an easier chase.
Sure you're stunned but so can the survivor be stunned that he latches onto. But the survivor will recover faster than him to give them a chance too. If this makes sense than great, if not - well #########.
-
So basically, it's another Crutch Perk for survivors to abuse? Haven't survivors already abused Borrowed Time, Adrenaline, Insta-heals, and Mettle of Man enough to make perks like these not work right anymore? It's protection from the Exposed effect, and (I've played on survivor's side a lot too so I'm not just an Ignorant Killer Main being salty.) yes NOED is a horrid perk to go up against; I don't really use it unless it involves me having to complete a daily that might be really difficult. But I don't use it on killer's a lot. But it's just another protection perk that could be abused against exposed or insta-down things. You should know how hard those insta-down effects are to pull off, even with GhostFace and stupid OOO (Object of Obsession). I'm mostly asking if this is just basically another Crutch Perk for survivors, not trying to be salty. I'm not trying to accuse too, trying to ask if this is to keep an open mind.
-
Seems like a really nice killer, and a neat concept. I'd would surely try out your killer if they were accepted into the game, but I doubt I'd have a friend to play with at the time I'd play her. Also if you're interested, I have a killer concept idea I made myself; I'd love to hear feedback, even from a creator themselves. So if you're interested please check it out. It's called "Child's Play" or "Chucky" I think you can guess 100% what it's about as well.
-
@HatCreature said:
Ok that's cool, so when he latches onto you you're moving forward and you decide where you're going. That def makes it harder to get the skill check lol I really like that, I can see people struggling and be like ''######### I only have 1 more chance to get this skill check'' and then they go down because they missed it <3
Overall this is a cool Chucky, I haven't seen the remake yet but I really want to so I was actually happy to see that your idea was based off that film and not the original. I love the original of course but this was refreshing. For instance you followed the remake so you have a 2nd Buddi doll help with all the animations for hooking. Whenever someone complained that Chucky was too short for these actions I was thinking of the original and always said they can have the specter of his human form Charles, appear in Chucky's place and hook Survivors or kick Gens.
Thank you again for your kind words, the specter idea would of been a pretty well thought out idea. I also do recommend fully to see the new 2019 Child's Play, it's not better than the original Child's Play (I haven't seen the original but I've seen clips and know the basic of it.) but it's still a good and every entertaining movie to watch. With a bit of some creepiness to it. Thank you again, glad to get some responses to my work.

@HatCreature said:
Lets Play sounds like an Obsession based Nurse's Calling? It's a bit odd and hard to read, I apologize.
So when Chucky latches onto a Survivor the Survivor has to do a skill check to get him off, that's not really a hard thing to accomplish. The Survivor really just has to stand still and wait for them then do it. If they run around it would be a lot harder so they just won't run or get to a pallet and waste it.
I had a similar idea but mine was with an average sized Killer, my idea was if we had a Killer who could jump long distances but since he was a tall he could jump over small loops and pallets. Chucky's leap wouldn let him go far but he wouldn't be tall enough to go over small loops or walls so maybe that would be a better idea for him? He could literally just jump several meters forward with a lunge attack, it's not as interesting as your idea though I will admit.
I do love your other two perks though, they seem powerful yet not too powerful. Friends Till The End is the Killer version of Leader and Prove Thyself which is really cool. It forces Survivors to spread out and not group up or they'll be punished but at the same time that Survivor can't see Auras so he can't even help his friends. Pairing this with Furtive Chase could make this more powerful.
"LET'S - PLAY" applies to healing, but also applies to team repairing. The perk is supposed to be a mix of BBQ, plus a different type of Dying light.
Also when Chucky latches onto you, your character will always be sprinting forward or where ever your camera points too, it's like normal running but you have Chucky slashing at your back. The height I was thinking for these chucky dolls as well would be around 4 ft. tall. Or in technical height terms, 4'2" ft. tall. So he's tall enough to look over some boxes and pallets in the way, but small enough to feel like a toy doll. But his leaping action wasn't the only thing.
But thank you for your comment, I'd love to hear more feedback about this idea. I also didn't consider Furtive chase when thinking about this as well, so thank you for letting me know what perk I'd want to pair it with. That is if this was accepted.
