@Snap_Tobiyume I'm not trying to pick on you by the way, just curious as to your way of thinking.

Their position was ridiculous. And yes, i know that hours don't matter. But experience does, and imo 700 hours isnt enough to be experienced enough to make judgements about the game like that.
So if according to you, hours don't correlate to experience, why do you keep using your 8000 hours as a justification for why your opinion matters more than others do?
What denotes experience in your opinion?

Well, what's the problem then?
Don't get me wrong. As many huntress mains i don't find IRIs skillfull. And there comes the balance. Because IRIs are used by not huntress mains, which are not really good with her anyway. The only thing i would change is that the insta only should prog at >20m.
No problem from my perspective. I'm just pointing out some other "benefits "of Iri heads that you might not have thought about. As I previously said they are not toxic, just oppressive as hell.

I personally agree and it's ridiculous. I'm literally brand new to the game and I'm a rank 4 killer. As I'm speaking now I literally have yet to get a kill today and I've been playing against strictly reds. I made a post about how it's literally unplayable especially when new to the game. Doesn't matter what character I use, I'll end a chase decently quick and 2 gens pop lmao.
So your brand new to the game, yet you are surprised that you are struggling at high ranks? DBD is like anything else, it takes time to become a good player.

What are you talking about; im stating some problems that alot of people complains about,im not obligated to litsen to you or anyone. Keep your advice for yourself
The fact that you are on this forum means you are looking for some sort of feedback on your thoughts.

Just wanted to mention, you shouldn't have to buy killers for their perks just to have a chance at higher ranks.
I know about the Shrine Of Secrets, but that only has four random perks on it at any given time, and half of them are for survivors.
Slowdown perks should not be mandatory.
What perks are mandatory for higher rank play in your opinion?

It's nowhere near as bad as the red glyph challenges.

Pop should get back the 15 seconds it lost though. That nerf was unnecessary.
I agree with that one. It currently only hurts the low mobility killers who need the gen regression the most.
-
It feels like you have decided that you've hit the peak of your killer ability, yet aren't able to get the outcome which would satisfy you. Therefore is must be a problem with the game, and not your gameplay.
It sounds to me like you can't identify any holes in your playstyle. I was serious about you posting a game or 2 to the forum for feedback. You might find some different ideas/tips from a different perspective that could bring a breath of fresh air to your games as killer.

Who cares about 1 hatchet? And even 3 aren't a big thing. Most survs have DH anyway, so just don't heal and do gens as always.
DH is useless unless you've been hooked already, as you won't be injured dye to instadown.
-
Why don't you record and post one of your games up for others to see? You might get some helpful tips from it.
-
I'm UK based, so I'm probably on the same servers. Honestly to me the maps don't matter as much as the skill of the survivors to use it (with the exception of The Game for obvious reasons). I've had easy 4ks on cow shed and temple of purgation and been destroyed on dead dog saloon.
On doc I run discordance, devour hope, BBQ and nurses. My add-ons change condtantly. Not exactly meta, but I win way more then I lose.
Trapper is more challenging. I run bamboozle, Corrupt, BBQ and STBFL. I still win more often than not with trapper.
Nurse can probably be attributed to the rift right now.

*bug not big๐คฃ
-
It's happened to me once or twice. It's a big. Post it in the bug section. ๐
-
What is this "One Hit Meta" you speak of?๐ค
-
Short answer: Because they can.
-
You and me have completely different experiences then. I'm rank 1 as well and I see a wide range of killers.
I main doctor and trapper and do pretty well with both of them tbh.
I would agree that the game is survivor sided, but only when you have well coordinated 3 man / 4 man teams does it become a real problem. Even then, you don't run into them that often.
Also if you are managing to stay at rank 1 it can't be going too badly for you, can it?

Irihead is fine as long as you dont run ammo belt
I've never came across a huntress just running iridescent head without infantry belt. I would imagine that would be the same for most players.

I run pop and ruin because ruin gets cleansed in a couple of seconds, Infectious is useless at high ranks because the survivors are all spread at different gens. The majority of my games are against high caliber red rank teams and it isnt fun to play in those conditions, because it gets to the point where i feel im in a tournament and not in a game to have fun anymore. Things needs to be changed because its really unfair for killers at high ranks,i think killers should have pop as basekit or 5-6 perks and not 4 because its a 1vs 4 and its not fair
Dude, 5-6 perks? Pop as basekit? Either of those would break the game. I'm not one of those people that will just say git gud etc... but there are tons of red rank killers (myself included) that main 'weak' killers without meta perks and still manage to do well. That's not a flex on my part either, I class myself as pretty average. Sometimes it is just a case of practice makes perfect.

I'm sorry this is going to be snide as... but this is the kind of dumb ######### the OP is talking about.
Iri head doesn't stop you needing to hook people, nor is it an auto win. Its one less health state from a hatchet hit, which is very strong but your point about "getting hooks not just necessarily kills" make no sense whatsoever. Iri head shortens chases, it doesn't circumvent hook states.
Yes its powerful and in the hands of a good player somewhat oppressive but that can be said of any good addon in the hands of the right player. Is it "toxic" no.
If you think shorter chases is the equivalent of SWF with OoO and a key I think you are placing to much emphasis on iri heads impact.
To be fair, it doesn't just shorten chases. It also reduces the effectiveness of DH, as you can't use it when uninjured. It makes unhooks incredibly unsafe as the unhooked is easily instadowned. Bodyblocking is much less effective as well.
It's definitely not toxic, but combined with the infantry belt, it is certainly over powered (provided the huntress can actually hit with hatchets).

Iri heads are OP when combined with infantry belt. No one said anything about them being OP by themselves. And yes, at the moment I find arguing very interesting. Being able to ruthlessly crush someone's opinions, hopes, and dreams simply through your words is interesting, at the very least. I personally find it beautiful. That's why I argue so hard. Because it's interesting.

I wasn't actually. My first account got banned for name-calling. It was deserved, however, it was only supposed to last for a month. It still hasn't ended, and it's been around 1 1/2 months after it was supposed to. So I made a new account. It got banned with no explanation. Same thing for the next 6. This is my eighth account on here. I'm a big bleach fan, and if you see a person with a bleach related name, it's probably me. Oh, and my first account was called hillbillyclaudmain69, by the way. I made it about a year ago, when I finally got interested in the forums. As you can tell by the name, I had taken a break from nurse and was maining billy then. I did lose my legacy, so I guess I can't show it to you. I ended up breaking my pc out of anger and now I'm on ps4-5.(I only get to use the Ps5 when no one else in my family of five is, since I already own the ps4.) Since I can't show you my legacy, here's a link to a video on my YouTube channel, on which i would recommend skipping the cringey intro.
Are you ok?

Gens are done too quickly at high ranks. The game is completely unfair and unbalanced for killers when going against teams and red rank survivors(even solo high rank survivors) , i end chases in seconds but gens are still flying and killers cant be at 2 places at the same time. Killers should be buffed as soon as possible because alot of new and old players are getting tired of those unfair conditions.
How did the game end up? For me at red ranks, the first couple of gens tend to go quick, but then I'm usually able to pressure the remaining gens and force the survivors to make stupid mistakes. I main Doctor, and rarely run pop or ruin.

Why killers can hit survivors, while they are falling down? The survivor is unable to move and avoid being hit, so he should have invicibility frames, while falling!1!111!!!
๐ No words necessary for this comment!

you guys are making it easier for killers to reach us getting hit through windows is ridiculous if you already crossed why does it qualify for the killer!

That video hurt my brain.

For me it was strange. It felt like running self-care and botany were a must, as you couldn't ever be injured. Now, I never use self-care, and barely use medkits.
To be honest, after playing for so long within the 'Gen Efficiency' era, it would frustrate me to see survivors wasting their time. As a killer, I would love it ๐
-
To be honest that would just encourage killers to tunnel survivors who aren't running DS. The lack of timer would be a green light to tunnel.
-
Doctor. I love his anti stealth!
-
I've encountered it as well. I was made to look very foolish in the killer shack to a T3 Myers lol
-
All of those are really good ideas!
-
That's would be interesting. It would be a shadow buff for stealth killers as well.
