I'm literally being super cool and chill. What ego? I said maybe if I have a good game I will see you in the basement and some of your buddies.

All your replies come off like you know more than everyone else, so no, it doesn't look like how you think you are

How about you head on over to SupaAlf stream and tell him those words. He is a 5 time tournament champion with Nurse on PS4. While you're at it, head on over to Tur_Jay stream to express yourself as well.

See what happened there? There is really good dominating Nurse's on PS4 and I only named two of them. You gave up learning her that's the only reason you're making such ridiculous claims. Stressful? Yes. Buggy? Yes. Does she have issues? Yes. Is her nerf to extreme? Also yes.

I enjoy the challenge and I enjoy her playstyle. To each their own gamer. I hope you pick her up again sometime. As far as pick a different killer, I have my mains that I win with quite often. I want something more challenging and unique.

    IMG_20200604_225734.jpg IMG_20200604_225758.jpg

Literally my last two games. Go ahead, play her, but expect to work way harder for worse results than other killers like spirit and Freddy. Also expect to have to restart your PlayStation often for frame rate issues.

But in both of these games, not a single decent survivor.

I went from r1 killer to r6. Easy depips.

Are you in red ranks yet? I wanna see your enthusiasm after facing one good team. Then try 10 in a row.

Edit: I didn't know I had to blackout names and I don't know how to remove the pics from the post, so uh yeah mods if it gets reported just take it down I guess

  • Statistically speaking, she is literally the worst killer on console. Yeah you will be able to kill green, purple, even red ranks, but that's because they are bad survivors. Just you wait till you face good ones lol, you will have to give up. Here's some free advice, stop now and learn another killer. Fps, stick, sensitivity and bugs render her near impossible on PS4, now matter how good you get. I've gotten a sore jaw from clenching it the duration of my time playing, she is that stressful. Don't waste your time. Make it known that there's an issue and hopefully the game will be tweaked to make her a little more fun to play as/ learn and pick her up then.

  • Hitboxes are fine. You need better net.

  • Rank 1 survivor. I straight up zone out while playing and go in autopilot, making drastic mistakes and still escape.

Since deciding to main nurse I've depipped into purple ranks and want kill myself. But now I actually feel like I'm doing something instead of holding a button on my controller.

  • Tbh it's only a small portion of rank 1s u need to worry about, most rr are boosted to hell and a little understanding of tiles will easily body them. No difference between bad red, purple or green rank survivors.

Stick it through, it'll be a bit of a learning curve but once you get it'll be easier.

Or play survivor it's just way easier. Everyone gravitates to killer in the beginning because it's easier, but frankly when I started survivor I could probably count my escapes on one hand out of 100 games.

  • I think a strong licensed killer is healthy for dbd. That said I dislike going across the map to wake up.

I doubt it. The only reason legacy was timed was because they decided to overhaul the bloodweb and didn't want to screw over those who had already prestiged characters under the old (much grindier) system. Legacy was introduced as compensation for that, and they announced that they would be changing the system and giving out legacy skins about a month in advance. But it wasn't like an event or anything - they didn't plan it as a reward, it just happened because they wanted to change something else.

The only way I can see something similar happening here is if they're planning to overhaul the bloodweb again and are introducing rewards for those who have prestiged up to now as a kind of second-generation legacy.

I hope they do that, it'd be nice to have something to show off how ol' timey I was in the future other than a few sad reskins

  • Scott and zubat for entertainment, Zubat has genuinely influenced my outlook on life. Now I trivialize everything

  • But who really benefits from it? I've heard huntress, deathslinger and ghostface can, but high noon benefits better from m&a, huntress arguably as well. Ghostface I've heard can benefit from additional stalk fov, but he seems least likely to really benefit from it.

  • As written in the Bible, "for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life by tunneling claudette mains".

Heed the good book and avoid the fires of eternal damnation.

  • Claudettes are generally horrible teammates, toxic and are always impossible to see. Tunnel them into the ground and we will be one step closer to world peace.

  • Nevermind I see you're on PC, maybe she's worth it. M&a isn't worth it though, same for Thana. Put tracking perks like whispers and bitter murmur if u don't have teachables

  • Ngl with a little practice, based off their ranks, you could have pulled off a win. It's insanely easy to reach r1 survivor and stay there, you don't have to be good at the game to do it. Myself included and everyone I know playing this game was rank 1 first or 2nd month of play.

If you are on PC then maybe nurse is worth learning. On console I have never once been 4kd as a decent team by a nurse, no matter how good they are. I've been 4kd by a mentally handicapped huntress though, I hope that paints a picture of how despairing she is to play.

I played her a month straight every day returning from a 2 month break of dbd. Made it from green to rank 3, where the stress of all her bugs, different jukes and dealing her cooldowns just ######### with me to the point where I 2nd guessed every one of my decisions, no longer even able to secure a single kill. Don't play her, she's not fun, it isn't worth it, and you won't get any results.

Play Freddy, get good at him and piss off people crying about seeing the same killers in red ranks.

You'll be treated like ######### the whole learning process too on nurse, reinforcing how fun she is.

  • I loved that one time I got face camped by leatherface and then moried off first hook that was pretty rad!

Another time on Ormond I was playing legion and everyone split up on different gens so when I went into fatigue the survivor had plenty of time to run to 473,829,364,638 different loops!

Awesome time man needless to say at the endgame, instead of leaving, the survivors waited for me at the exit gates to give me some farewell crouches of friendship and boosted my self esteem in the postgame chat.

    Thanks you guys!

    <3 u forever

  • Not every nurse is knightlight and I doubt there's a single nurse even capable of that level on console. If the potential isn't there no one's going to play her and get better.

  • Console sensitivity can still be improved as well, I could use another boost.

Part of why nurse is the polar opposite of fun right now is because you literally have to wait to gain any mobility, and playing with her add-ons adds an additional level of micromanagement/ memorization in regards to how long you have to wait to move across the map.

Console killers have huge FPS drops, survivors don't. Most "fps drops" you see on DBD are server related and both PC and console have this issue.

Stretched Res and hacks are very common and considered cheating. you know cheaters can already force themselves in console lobbies?

Mouse and Keyboard doesn't provide a huge advantage in DBD like it would a twitch shooter. For survivors there is practically no advantage one way or the other.

The game is hardly optimized on PC either. The new graphics might fix that on all systems.

Isnt default pc fps 60? I know many players have it uncapped and play at 120 or higher. Console can barely get 30. That alone breaks the game.

Controllers simply cannot do what m+k can. Pc killers have a massive precision advantage over console, especially on skill killers. Additionally, controllers have limited camera speed. Just compare the speed at which a PC player can shake their heads vs console.

  • I was playing her alot and I had precise blinks, good predictions and could read survivors personalities well. After a few days off I've only had bad games, it's like survivors hate windows and doors, all my blinks are off and I can't figure out pathing for my life. Only depips. Even shadowborn hasn't helped my precision, I just had a game where I was staring a survivor in their face and somehow smacked the fence behind them, while they stayed on screen the whole time. Ngl I think I'm done with dbd.

    Edit: spelling

  • Being a piece of ######### at the exit gates is more common at lower ranks from my experience. Smart players will know if they are a rancor obsession and always consider noEd when no one's been hit after all gens pop.

That said, high rank survivors still do it as well, and other times it's the killers playstyle that deserves taunting.

Take the opportunity to break some pallets or find hatch, survivors won't learn to just leave if killers keep playing these stupid exit gate shenanigans.

  • Ngl if I'm playing really badly it's better to DC or stop and just walk away before getting up tight and even more boosted.

Calm down, think about how you ######### up and go back with a vengeance.

We all know how infuriating this game and community can be, neither side is exempt.

  • Nurse's add-ons are garbage and blink recharge mechanism could be looked at

Nurse is S Tier on Console and Wraith is definitely A-B Tier if you play him correctly. Maybe you just haven’t ran into them considering they require certain skill levels to play optimally. Here are some messages I get from survivors.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/URIYIGXLB7Q1/650bf1a7-fb4f-4bd4-8b20-684b913cb698.png

Nurse feels like s tier against plebs who vault and drop pallets and then u run into double ooo squads on coldwind or yamaoka and realize just how much distance is gained from a missed swing or one good juke

  • Nurse borders on impossible vs competent survivors. Sure you can ######### on the lower red ranks, but against anyone competent is a different story. Sensitivity, frames, bugs and stick are just too problematic.

  • You're doing God's work.

I always get a kick out of how survivors will run every single second chance perk under the sun, but a killer daring to run something that counters second chances is a big noob who can't play. 😂

I'm a red rank killer hbu?

Got there by killing survivors during the trial, 3 hooks each.

  • Maybe killer isn't for you. The difficulty is exponentially in killers favor vs new survivors who can't loop, and then they get a wake up call when they encounter people who can play the game and proceed to bring noed and a Mori into every game. Play more than 4 trials you'll catch on quickly.

  • Myers should be buffed to the point where he hands down is the strongest thing in the game.

Survivors should get moried when he gains Los and he should be able to ready up in survivor queues to kill other killers.

ah yes because killer mains want old legion back

nurse’s that barely had any counterplay and was almost as easy to pick up and play very effectively as freddy

    old Spirit

yeah killer mains are practically ruining this game at this rate all they want is endless 4K’s and to make playing solo survivor absolute hell

I play solo surv as well, ive learned to avoid weekends and evenings because that's when the boosted apes come out.

How do you play spirit with survivors not making grunts of pain bug? Its happen in every game.

That bug doesn't seem to be on console, or if it is, it doesn't affect breathing and walking. Personally I suck ass at spirit but I rely heavily on noise cues during chase regardless. I'm just saying that spirit is a much stronger and easier killer vs survivors who actually know how to play the game, especially with her add ons. In red ranks there are killers I've played less than a dozen times and 4k with because they are that simple to use.

  • While I don't send hatemail, plenty of players deserve it, and not for being not fun, rather straight up toxicity.

Jajajajajajajajajajajaja you died to noed and Mori you're bad but you died

Typical response you'll get if you do send hatemail.

  • I genuinely dislike bodying bad survivors and quit/ take a break when I do. I like the challenge of strong swfs, just not every game in a row or when I'm boosted.

  • @coppersly said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1314917#Comment_1314917

Just because you've missed or hit doesn't mean the survivor should just get distance. Part of it was reading what the Nurse was going to do. Double back and try to not get fake blinked? Bend left at the last second? These questions don't matter anymore it's just run straight. Distance is gained for no work now.

While I personally agree with this statement, part of how I play nerfed nurse is recognizing what part of the map I want to centralize my snowball and abandoning chase when it doesn't suit me. That said 4 real rank 1's mess my ######### up. And that's even with a mandatory recharge add-on every game.

  • @coppersly said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1314874#Comment_1314874

IF you even slightly look down you go straight down. It feels like it vacuums you when you weren't even trying to go low.

Yeah I know, maybe it's a bit unfair but I've gotten used to it. Looking up and short blinking makes it hard to track survivors afterwards though(especially without shadowborn), it could definitely be improved to be more user friendly

  • @DeathBeam said:

I'm surprised no one is mentioning deadzones and basement blinks. They are the 2nd reason why I stopped using nurse behind her bugs that have never been addressed. Sanctum of Wrath when it came out was impossible to win if the survivors knew where the dead zones were.

From my experience basement blinks are more or less the fault of the player. Sanctums basement was fixed, and that's the only one I encountered since I started to play nurse (tbh hasn't been that long).

  • I main console nurse. The add-ons are ridiculous, most are absolutely useless and a waste of bp. Her power? I've seen streamers tear up swfs with barely a gen pop, but on console since low frames, bad sensitivity and other bugs make her a nightmare vs good survivors.

Her high skullcap and skill requirement are worth the power she has, and anything that strong shouldn't be as easily accessible as the other mindless meta killers.

If anything her sensitivity cap could see another boost to be more comparable to PC's. Just look at how fast mouse can shakes heads vs controller; not saying that degree is a must, I'm saying I'm accustomed to controller sensitivity and could handle more.

What I'm genuinely curious about is the bug where u can't blink or attack after blinking; at first I thought I was boosted af but then looked it up and turns out other ppl have the same problem. That can literally lose me a game, and seems to be more frequent if I get grabbed for higher ping servers.

    My advice? Play spirit.

  • This is news to me, unless this is a what if thread

if you have to be rude then stay the hell off my thread

    >hey a public forum is a place where people are allowed to complain about things that upset them

Your own logic justifies my post

  • The problem isn't that there are good perks that make the meta, it's that there are abysmally trash perks that you should never pick for any goal oriented reason.

  • @Soulslayer618 said:

    maybe its just me

maybe its because Im on a lot of medication to fix my brain and emotions

but why is it that other survivors work harder to kill me than the killer does?

I hate being low rank as survivor but Im forced to be there because "skill" and yet more often than not Ill have a team that decides I should die for their entertainment just cause I solo queue cause I have no friends

someone tell me what Im doing wrong or at least tell me an easy way back to green ranks

Lol being bad at the game is not a valid excuse to make a thread complaining about fun in dbd. Reaching r1 is easy af, but the difference between rank 4/5 and 1 is massive.

  • @USELESS said:

I think we should only put like, S, A, B, C, D..., Z(Z is where you find clown) to say the average power of the killer. Like, nurse is a powerful killer but her skill cap is even higher, so A category. Killers that are easy to learn and also good go to higher tiers.

clown is in the shadow realm

  • He's a fun killer to play, if you use his power. But play other killers as well, the number of ghost face players that are in ranks outside of their capabilities due to camping/ night shroud and nurses is outright sad. He's essentially the new wraith, casuals will pick him up and miss out on learning game strategies as a result while pipping. Nothing is funnier than watching a ghostface bloodlusting me on a safe pallet, because the player doesn't even know what a safe pallet is. R1 PS4 btw
