I love Bill. Me and him just click.

hello! i recently got accused of lag switching by a survivor while playing ghostface and i didnt actually know what that was until i looked it up after.
@pines It's easy to tell if someone is lag switching and they need video proof. Without video proof, nothing will happen. Even then, if its just random lag spikes, it won't be a bother. I wouldn't worry about it.
-
@Lord_Rafi I still don't get what you're talking about? You mean the glow effect? That's an add-on.
-
Billy. I love zooming around the match.

i think this is ment to stop you from just going up to them, grabbing them off the generator instead of stalking and inflicting the exposed status effect on them.
i do not think you are ment to just sneak up on them and grab them off of stuff. thats Myers thing. GF should focus on stalking, peeking around corners from the distance and then going in for the kill when you exposed one or more.
@Mister_xD One of his chapter achievements/trophies are interrupts.

I almost forgot to mention. If you abusing a bug in-game and get reported, you will get banned.

What's the bug?

@AStupidMonkeyy Since they gave us the Endgame Collapse, Left Behind is completely useless; and for some reason the Devs think otherwise, they flat out said that you can still use the perk and get the trophy JUST DO IT BEFORE THE HATCH IS CLOSED!!!
Great thinking Devs
I think your version of the perk is ok, It be ''When you are the last remaining Survivor and the Hatch is closed, perform a 25/20/15 second animation to open and escape through the Hatch''. I think that's the best way to rework the perk because it's no longer about getting enough Gens to reveal the Hatch it's about getting to the Hatch first or getting to the Exit first. This perk would give Survivors the 3rd option of getting to the Closed Hatch which sounds awesome.
Some people would say it would be overpowered and everyone will use it, well not everyone uses keys and everyone has them. Also, I think it's pretty hilarious that a Survivor will set up their entire build based around their team dying. It won't ever be as popular as Adrenaline, it takes time to perform, and if the Killer finds them it's game over.
@HatCreature That's how I meant the perk to work. 15 seconds is tier 3 and it's balanced because the killer has to choose and you can still interrupt the animation by wacking them. You just have to check on everything. It would also give the pebble some play ;D Throw a pebble and start on it.
-
@Greschkr Just no.
-
@fluffymareep I do like that change and mori's could be on second hook.

@johnmwarner He's getting 8% added to his pov so you'll have an easier time to detect him so you don't have to be perfectly center anymore.

Lmao get good sweaty ghostface
@Saekuura Is this aimed at me? Because something is broken? What if.. hear me out. What if I could stand still while The Spirit phased and she couldn't touch me or hear me because I was being stealthy. Would that be fair?
-
@HatCreature It seems hit detection for killers are broken also since the update. They broke this, that and gen grabs are still getting broken off. I try not to hope too much anymore for updates. I am usually killer sided but I feel like killer gets shafted more but if a survivor perk gets nerfed and it seems not fair, I'm quick to defend it. I also would like to see Left Behind buffed. I honestly think it should be 15 seconds of opening the hatch by animation and if the survivor isn't hit, they get to hop in. It rewards you for outwitting the killer and doesn't punish you for ######### teammates. What do you think?
-
So after finally playing the revised MoM I can say that because the Protection Hit Score Event isn't 100% reliable and fails to register sometimes it really hurts the perk and now Flip Flop is Ash's best perk.
@HatCreature The perk is fine as it is now. The problem is that the protection hits are seriously bugged. I can't even get stacks for wglf unless I'm hit unhooking or unhooked safely. Protection hits need looked at. Until it's fixed, wglf and Mom are useless.
-
Increasing hook time just ruins the point of a second objective. Add 30 seconds to hook time while adding an extra objective makes no sense. You can still stay on the gen after until almost second tier than grab. There is no urgency in that logic. Killers camp because of how quick the match is or if you're a dick. A second objective would be fine and buffing the movement speed of other killers would be more efficient. You want more campers? The original hook timer was 40 seconds and they increased it by 20 seconds on each tier. All it did was cause even more camping. They added a time stop, survivors abused it. They got a proximity hook penalty yet survivors complain when you have 0% on it. Gen rush creates camping. Gens use to take longer. They shortened them so camping became a thing. It all started with the gen timers being shortened.

@RogueGamer Make sure to tag by using @ then the name so the person can see the post but yeah. I enjoy Pig. She's really fun to play as.

@Gay Myers (Luzi) One last thing, I wanted to hear what other people thought before actually making it a suggestion because some people might not want it changed.

People can voice their opinions even if you dislike them. This is a very specific Killer discussion, so I will also move it.
@Gay Myers (Luzi) He made it about survivors, which is fine but it isn't killer related or do with these killers' powers themselves, is why. If he has a complaint about aura perks affecting survivors then move it to survivors is all I'm saying. If he had constructive criticism, that is one thing but bringing up something about survivor that has nothing to do with the actual post is different.
-
Has anyone else found this? since he came out he seems, in my games to camp a lot of the time, especially around the basement.
@Mushwin He sucks just like leatherface. That's why.
-
@RogueGamer I prefer Pig because she gets a long dash and can't be broken out of stealth while crouched plus she's sneaky. She doesn't have exposed is the only thing that sucks. Ghost Face is more about hiding and stalking for a 1-hit but he's easy to take out of it and has a 30 second wait period before being able to do anything besides being a normal m1 killer.
-
@Peanits Read this discussion. Many people are having the same issue. I also posted this in the bug forum during the PTB and after the PTB and its still happening.

@PhantomMask20763 said:
Yes! I've missed way too many hits where I swing around a corner and it definently should have hit but it instead autoaims onto a random wall or the side of the window. Hits are really inconsistent now which is awful considering loops already take much time out of your match
@PhantomMask20763 It was happening during the PTB but I guess they never fixed it so now it's on live servers. Everyone needs to make a bug report about it, otherwise, it'll never get fixed.

Make it so certain survivors are not affected by aura perks or addons. Killers have dozens of them
@prayer_survivor Survivors have perks like Distortion for that. We have nothing. If you want to use a biased opinion, then leave. This is a post about weak stealth killers. If you have a complaint about aura reading perks on survivors that can be countered multiple ways, including distortion, take it to survivor side of the forum. Thank you.
-
@TheMadDoctor Thank you. If you aren't crouched, let it see you but when you're crouched, you are supposed to be a STEALTH killer. Glowing bright pink to be bullied shouldn't be a thing. I also agree with either taking the roar out or putting it at the end. Finally, I think they should increase the dash lunge to about 2 more normal survivor steps because when you dash around a wall, you usually have to backtrack after to mind game and usually fall short of a hit because of the length of most walls. Not super big buffs but small ones that would make her much more fun to play. Can't wait for her cosmetics c; ######### stoked over her new weapons and those new outfits.
-
Why did they change all of my favorite cosmetics to freaking light grey? These are not at all what I bought.
@KiraElijah 1. It wasn't killer sided but keep whining. No one will take you serious this way. 2. The changes to the outfits was due to the engine upgrade. It couldn't be helped. If you watch any game or play any game that gets an unreal engine upgrade, the graphics change and so do the colors by a little because its higher quality. The physics changed also. It couldn't be helped. You want the game to be optimized, don't you? This is how it's done. It reduced unnecessary things to make the game look nice and improve optimization for lower spec pc's and consoles. It also made the lighting nicer, which increased the light on the clothing to make them slightly brighter. Thank the devs for trying to optimize instead of throwing hate constantly.
-
@TheMadDoctor I got punished yesterday as Pig when I tried crouching because of OOO kept seeing me. It made her dash literally useless. I almost rage quit because of how I felt during the match of constantly being teabagged and becoming a looped M1 killer on the game map against 4 SWFs who knew they had me. I usually don't mind SWFs but this was just pure frustration.
-
The protection hits are bugged for perks. For some reason, the protection hits don't even proc for WGLF or MOM when you take a normal hit that used to give you a stack unless someone is being carried. Put this in bugs report.
-
@Dennyb That's EXACTLY what I am talking about. The lunge breaks and forces you to hit the object. It's even worse at the corner of a window.
-
@Kabu said:
You complain way too much
@Kabu This was happening during the ptb and it was in the bugs part of the forum. It was already known by some killers. It's not a complaint when your hit detection forces you to smack a wall early for no reason. If you don't have anything to add, get out of the conversation. Thank you.
-
@JetTheWaffleCat This blew my ######### mind. I honest to god never knew there was actual strategic ways to stop loops sooner. I always just brute forced them if I couldn't mindgame the red glow. Thank you, kind sir. You are a gentleman and a scholar!
-
@miaasma said:
@AStupidMonkeyy 2 window loops is fair if you aren't sure how the survivor plays and can't necessarily predict them well. keep in mind that these window loops aren't huge loops like the ironworks window or an asylum window, so even if they get 2 loops out of it you aren't losing too much time or distance unless you mess up
@miaasma I will say as this about Asylum window, if they made it always spawn to the right, then I wouldn't mind it because then its mind game-able. Simply, you can go up the stairs and out the window to cut them off and most people don't know that's even a thing but I 100% agree on the ironworks window. It's an unskilled loop that is almost unavoidable without bamboozle.
-
@miaasma You have a point. I always seem to get 2 window loops before getting a hit or making them drop a pallet. I can't seem to stop them anytime sooner than that. (I'm Rank 5 Killer and a Rank 2 Survivor currently but I'm always Rank 1 on both sides)
-
@miaasma said:
it's definitely not a guaranteed 3 loop without bamboozle
at most, a survivor should get 1 loop out of the window before you figure out how they loop shack and react accordingly. killers can mindgame shack just as survivors can. if a survivor fakes a window a lot, pretend to cut them off at the window then double back and run into shack; at this point all they can do is either drop the pallet or medium vault, and good players hate wasting shack pallet (i'll die for that thing)
alternatively if they just W game and don't mindgame anything you can cut them off after the vault
does this work all the time? of course not, nothing in this game is guaranteed and i'm making it sound easier than it is. but nothing about shack guarantees three loops and you absolutely do not need bamboozle to run it properly
bamboozle is actually just another bandaid fix for bad map design. instead of fixing problem windows they added a perk you can run to cut these windows off after one loop. again, the problem with this is that now other, weaker loops suffer
@miaasma But you can see the killer through the cracks so you know where he is if you're paying attention. The loop is long enough that a killer cannot catch up to you quick enough to stop the actual loop and if the killer reads wrong, you get another loop around, which is why 3 loops is possible if you optimize it perfectly unless they have bamboozle. If you couldn't see the killer through the cracks, I would say I agree with you but the fact that hiding the red glow doesn't do anything if you can see the killers through the wall, it will never change. A good example! You can break Ghost Face out of Night Shroud through the cracks of the shack wall if he stands still but you can't stalk through it. It's because there is enough space to see the killer but not enough for the killer to register its power on you (but he can see you). (my edit: I also forgot to mention, to hide your red glow, you have to look AWAY from the wall at an angle but the survivor can still see you at all times through the cracks. There is no mind game.)
-
@miaasma Being able to see the killer accordingly and make a judgement call is why a lot of people believe its an infinite. I've had really good survivors just go the opposite way that I'm going. Without bamboozle, it's a guaranteed 3 loop unless the killer makes a mistake then you can do 1 more loop around before hitting the pallet or taking a hit. That gives the mindset of an infinite. Specially since we all know its called the god pallet for a reason. do the 3 loops, take a hit, loop somewhere else, come back and do another 3 loops then break the pallet. That easily burns up 2 minutes or more alone when a good survivor does that. Sometimes even going down is better than throwing god pallet. With the game being so short, it was pretty op when a good survivor utilized it. Now you cannot fast vault inside unless you do it perfectly angled, in my opinion, is fine. You might only get 2 loops out of 3 unless you go from the opposite way but it's still great. Also, I do believe that they did change the windows again on the treatment theater. I could be wrong.
-
@miaasma Honestly, they should make it a solid wall so neither side can see the other through the cracks then mind games would be a thing but as it is now, I play Bill and Ninja Nea and shack is easy to mind game because I can see the killers' colors through the cracks of it. I even had a video awhile back on how to loop the killer at it 100%. Same with the wooden t-walls on the farm maps. You could see them through it. It was more about reaction time than mind games for me.
-
@miaasma said:
no, i don't, and i think they're representative of a larger issue regarding BHVR's ability to fix design problems
supposing that this was meant to fix infinite windows being fast vaulted, most problem windows (ironworks, suffo pit, wretched shop, cowshed, asylum etc.) are unaffected. the only problem window i can think of that this impacts directly is the storehouse window being vaulted from the inside, and that window probably should just be closed permanently anyway
the tiles mostly affected by these changes are mindgameable tiles that did not need shadow nerfs. instead of fixing the structures themselves they release a catch-all fix that deals with the real problem poorly and nerfs things that weren't problems
@miaasma That's understandable but everyone got in a fit because they all said shack was impossible to fast vault from pallet side now. That was how this entire post got started. Since I realize that you do tend to be more survivor friendly, I wanted your take on the matter since I lean more towards killer friendly. I gave a survivor buff earlier today and got downvoted XD
-
@miaasma He hugged the pallet when he ran in which is what everyone keeps saying is impossible to fast vault because of it. You only get a medium vault now but that's not true. He hugged the pallet, still got a fast vault. It's about knowing the 3 step distance.
-
@miaasma So you agree that the changes were alright then?
-
@skillchecks At 6:23, he fast vaults after hugging the pallet side of the shack. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bOSjAk7e5I

@skillchecks said:
That's the point. If you are not looking at the window , you get a medium vault. So, let's say we are running the shack window or a jungle gym, and we are looking behind us to see if the killer wants to cut you off or double back.....you can't. You get hit anyways because you get a ######### medium vault. What option do i have? join the W gamers club? No , thanks.
@skillchecks It was never meant to be a super safe loop. It is balanced. I've been playing survivor all day today and never had much problem with it and if you are running straight towards it like you're supposed to 3 steps away, it's still a fast vault. You have to reach the maximum speed to get fast vaults.
-
@skillchecks Yes but you're supposed to be 3 steps away before you vault and almost looking at it to fast vault. This change was meant to fix that and make sure its medium unless you back up a step and run almost at it. It prevents people from getting easy fast vaults when they shouldn't but survivors aren't happy about anything to do with balance.
-
@Doc Now its mandatory medium vault if not 3 steps away and running at it unless coming from the opposite direction. Opposite direction gives fast vault. Survivors aren't happy. We want that ez 4k, don't you know?
-
@Doc said:

Is that the inside or outside of the window
@Doc Inside and outside. The angle is too sharp. No more almost hugging the wall at a 90 degree slant to jump it. You gotta do a u-turn slightly outwards before turning to fast vault it now and they don't like it.
-
You want to know why everyone is so upset that it got balanced? It was easy to turn 3 loops into 6,7,8,9 loops depending on rng, not including a pallet that is ALWAYS there or the fact there is usually a pallet near it. It was super easy to loop on the outside. You shouldn't be able to continuously loop it, waste 30 seconds of time, take a hit, run to a different loop, waste 10 seconds then go back to shack and do another 30 before throwing the pallet down. That's pretty much an infinite just about.
-
I've been 2 hooking all week and every 3-4 matches, I get gen rushed with 2-3 bps offerings in place. Then they talk ######### to me like I'm #########. Yeah. I lose XD I didn't waste anything so you do you because guess what? When you get 14k only as a survivor for gen rushing me, I'll get about 90k-120k next match when I farm with people. Enjoy those ######### points, Bud lol.
-
@Peanits The survivor side is bugged. I got like 1 from 1-50 prestige. I got about 1-3 per blood web on Ghost Face and Billy. For some reason, it doesn't like giving it to survivors.
