@28_stabs Lets stop THIS in 2020. Theres always that one post that steers way off track of the topic trying to compensate "Well then nerf this/that." Why not just open your own thread mentioning this? Or better yet, give actual feedback to OP about why tunneling and camping is a legit strategy and not a penalty.
why? genrushing = killrushing
yes, this is the feedback. If you dont understand it, play the other side. The bottom ranks do not count.
If I do not take Rancor, survivors piss all over my hooks and me. Am I killer? Who is the killer?

penalizing for gens done during a chase? That’s an ignorant statement. Considering a survivor will always be chased while gens are being repaired. As a killer main, I drop a chase if it lasts too long. If you’re not smart enough as a killer to do that and they knock out gens, that’s your problem. There are also perks to counter gen rushes. Ruin, Thrilling Tremors, Corrupt Intervention, Thanatophobia, etc. Killers have plenty of counters to survivors and vice versa. The topic is penalizing hook camping and tunneling more. You can’t penalize a survivor for looping when that’s their only survival tool besides hiding.
Why do chases last too long? Is it because you are bad? There are no counters to genrush. You can only slow down repairs a bit. Also, killer can chase only 1 survivor at a time.
-
then penalize:
- genrushing
- gen camping, tapping gens during chases (it take a lot longer to damage gens)
- using BT on survivors who have DH and DS, lol. And the healthy survivor doesnt care to get injured, because 2 generators were done in 1st minute and the healthy guy must be chased and put on hook 3 times, LOL
- survivors can loop killers for all 5 generators without any penalty, so penalise them for every generator done. -10k bp for every generator done during chase.
-
is it immortal mode youre asking for?
-
I drink a rum mixed with juice and cola, yey, and stab survivors on hooks, yey, yey, yey..
-
Why not turn on the End Game when 3 generators are left? If survivors dont want to do the generators, they dont get to escape. Killers the main objective is to protect the generators, right? Isnt it wahy we dont instantly kill survivors, but put them on hooks?

legions power is pretty useless but atleast it takes a health state easy
thats how I feel after playing the Doc
in the most cases either BBQ show me survivors, either they genrush somewhere and its not hard to find them, so I may have no need to use the shock all match long, lol
around pallets, hmm, either its easier to break the pallet, either the shock take too long to charge xD
-
I agree.
Experienced survivors can ignore Ruin, so there should be no harm in allowing it.
-
Only 5 games?
-
Devour Hope can get a kill or two..
-
Make the Legion like the Plague. Survivors stay broken or look for special meds. BUT meds have side effects:
- Blidness
- Bleeding
- -25% movement speed
- -50% repair speed
- -100% tbag speed

You said you can't play nice at red ranks, I wasn't flexing. Just trying to point that I'm atrociously bad killer but I can win games at red ranks whilst playing fair with a very weak killer, If I can do it anyone can.
Can you explain what "fair" mean. Do you count pallets and make sure to take every stun?
-
Its not. Its a war.
-
Also, if it would be allowed,I would likely leave you on the floor or mori you. If you went down, I'll make sure you die.
-
If DS and the hatch wouldnt exist in the same universe, maybe.
-
Rancor is S for me. Its my fun insurance.
Also: NOED only B tier? Its my 2nd fun insurance perk. :D
-
Xmas is tunnel time. I cant help it.

I decided to try it over Pop and nobody missed the skill-check.. xD
-
Mories, NOED, Blood Warden, Infectious Fright and Monstrous Shrine.
-
I dont think that we have enough players for many modes. The queue time would increase.
-
What about steam achievements? Did you gave up on them, too? And dailies, too? If killer will use on you Franklin's Demise, you will stop using items? If Plague will make you broken, you will stop using healing perks?
-
What for? The further are survivors, the less effective is "mend" effect. If you spend a lot of time running around, they have enough time to mend and get back to generators.
-
Im chasing 1-2 guys all game. I dont need to know where all survivors are. :'D
If they are all together, ok, I give them a few stabs, but if they are not, Im not wasting my time.

- Infectious Salt
- Saltophobia
- Salt Warden

but salt memes are better.. :c

You can blink behind the gates as Nurse, too.. with Insidious perk. Survivors wont find you. :D they can hang near you during end game, but usually survivors will just leave, if you look into a wall.
-
"MINDGAMES"

Survivors dont entertain killers and dc = ban
hey, time to turn the tables :D
killers dont entertain survivors = ban
-
I played Void bastards the last week and Im waiting for the new 4v1 multiplayer "Resident Evil Resistance" that will be included in RE3. DBD, well, Im bored of unlocking the same perks for new killers. I know, the grind was reduced, but killers without perks are boring. After 1000h its nothing but a boring routine.
-
With Botany its ok. Botany, btw, boost both your SC and 33% faster to heal other survivors. Thats a win-win. Slap Empathy on top and its a bp farming build.
-
Medkit+Dead Hard, because we die hard.
-
yes, his chainsaw seem too fast to me. i think Bubba need to overtake survivors for 5-10m to get a hit. Bubba is too fast and too strong.
-
kinda useless, yes.
-
The Basement Bubba is the most relaxing killer.
-
A ######### scenario.
Two killers can end any chase in a few seconds. Combine the Huntress/Freddy/Clown/Doc/Plague with any other killer and survivors cant move around.
Or 1 killer chase survivors, get downs and apply a pressure. 2nd killer is camping Bubba who ensure the 1st hook is the last hook.
I like the most Doc or Huntress + any other killer combo. Doc can follow a survivors and deny all vaults and pallet throws, lol. The 2nd killer just need to m1. Doc + Huntress. :D
-
Survivors should fight for generators (2 full gens done alone = pip, or 1 gen alone + no downs + escape = pip), but instead devs believe that suiciding in a fancy way is a norm, a skill. Here, you can have your low skill survivors at red ranks. Getting in a chase should downrank survivors or significantly decrease a chance to pip. Or swasting time and looking for the Ruin totem should put low skilled survivors at a disadvantage, but no. They can pip without doing generators.
-
Just ban everyone.
-
The list of things I would change:
1) His bottles must force slow vaults (or slower vaults than usual). Why not? The Huntress can use windows to injure survivors - allow it to the Clown, too. The first version of the Clown had this.
2) Remove the slowdown when throwing the bottles. It hurt.
3) The bottles reload automatically alike nurses blinks. The Clown sometimes mix bottles instead of flipping his blade after hitting survivors (just an animation to support his automatic reload idea).
OR
Make the Clown like the Legion or the Plague.
1) Survivors can suffer 3 stages of intoxication:
- 1st - a movement speed penalty (5%)
- 2nd - slow vaults (if survivor is intoxicated 2 times)
- 3rd - Broken Status (if survivor is intoxicated 3 times)
+ the main slowdown effect of the bottles can add to any stage. The Bottles always slow down survivors in addition to all stages.
2) The intoxication increase with time, if survivors do not heal. (every 10s +1 stage)
3) The intoxication rapidly increase (every 5s +1 stage), if survivors stay hurt and they are in any action (running, doing generators, helping each other, etc).
4) If survivors heal, they recover from one intoxication stage every 10s.
EDIT: since survivors cant heal from Broken Status - they become broken, if they stay in actions too long. They must avoid actions for 10s to remove the broken status and be allowed to heal.
-
Rip Billy.
I guess, devs want to go back to the time when killers couldnt kill experienced survivors (infinities, etc).

Getting the most points doesn't mean you were the best player.
Hell, the person who got the least could have done all the Gens themselves.
But Sure let's use BP as a metric.
This is true, because doing generators is the least rewarding action for survivors.
1 repaired generator = 80s = 1250bp
1 unhook = 1s = 1500bp (add BT and its safe)
1 heal = 16s = 500bp (without Botany or Med-kit)
1 broken totem = 14s = 1000/1500bp
1 pallet stun = 1000bp
1 hook sabotage (you can safely pick a corner hook and farm) = 500bp per hook
Also, reminder: the least rewarding action is the main objective. Remove it, if it is wrong.
-
I dont think that playing both sides always change everything. I play both sides and I know what is painful, but, tbh, I dont care about people I dont know. I'll take all bp that I can earn. 😁
-
Good the bottom tier killer.
Survivors can completely deny Feral Frenzy by staying next to a pallet and waiting for the Legion to swing.
Also, Feral Frenzy is non-lethal power that can easily be wasted by Dead Hard (20s cooldown + 4s stun).
And the 4s stun, lol. What if I told you that breaking a pallet take 2,6s? The Legion power can often feel like a joke.

Struggle and wiggle are not fun now. Hooe devs listen to our disappointment.
They added bp for doing wiggle. It take long, but they think about what we discuss.

Survivors may play the game, may not play it. As a solo player in the most cases I farm. Getting my 4 WGLF stacks is the top priority to me. I dont like to end with 10k after playing a full match. I may not do generators alone. I will break totems, open chests, heal, do anything but generators, because Prove Thyself in co-op will get me all the Objective bp for doing only 2-3 of them.
I dont say everyone is farming, but judging deaths and rank numbers is meaningless. Survivors view on the game can be completely different from killers view on the game. Killer only count kills.
Also, if you dont see farming perks - they may be trying out something.
Another thing to think about is skill requiremet to play good. Survivors must know a lot more than killer to survive a game. A single mistake can lead to death. You went to the basement without DS and nobody has BT? - Congratulations. You can stay there.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Bix44C1EzYAlso, I dont say that survivors are harder, Im just saying that deaths can mean many things.
-
Allow 4 toolboxes and see for yourself. Also, dont take ruin. :D
-
There will be suicides on hooks. I dont mind bans, but I dont think it will significantly change the picture. Only killers will get 20k more bp (if BBQ).

Have you tried remapping it? If there's a problem with a particular button on your keyboard/controller, maybe changing it to a different one might help you in the short term.
now I die, because of remapping. The fun part is that when I react to the button and I press it, its already too late. The game just want me dead.

What if it was replaced with skill checks every few seconds that had just one zone, which was double the size?
I have no trouble to hit skill checks. Good idea.
