regression is plenty viable if you don't just rely on the OP crutch that Pain Res is. it's more about finding one that works for your style of play and build.
unfortunately for me, that perk was OLD Pain res, before they made it a true sweat perk. bhvr never should have listened to the complainers
-
Maybe not unless you are Singularity, but I'm sure it'll bring some fright back to dbd.
-
a lightsaber merely injuring survivors would be lame

Coming back to two of your questions, completing the interactions for Invocations and Jigsaw Boxes both remove accrued AFK points. Separately, when it comes to the note about reaching 3 crows after 90 seconds, this assumes a situation in which the player is standing completely still for the entirety of that period.
thank you for confirming this, I've been eagerly awaiting this reply as a Birdvocation lover. cheers
-
Sable Ward and Nic Cage are fantastic survivors. knights got a good aura perk. demo still has a fantastic selection
-
I'm on a hiatus until Springtrap kinda but I'm pretty far in still. I'm definitely gonna clear it when he arrives. not bad

I have heard of people coming close with Surge, especially when using a secondary gen regression perk. Though if they're hitting the limit with those perks they'd be well on their way to winning anyway so it probably isn't an issue lol I only use Overcharge currently and had no issues
dont even need the 2nd regression tbh, if you dare to take any kick perk like Machine Learning or Nowhete to Hide with Surge you'll turn your own build off
-
you can't tell if gens are slow because of Thana or if the survivors just aren't doing gens. I don't like it.
id rather spend my opportunity cost on something mote tangible for me like Mindbreaker or Tinkerer
-
before, killers would use this opportunity to hump, gloat and be miserable since they know the survivors are held captive.
best change they did in a while.
-
the average person goes down in 5 seconds (thanks maps) so all this perk does is allow survivors to " run it down mid " and feed.
it really does need overcome and other things for it to work in the average lobby

Thought he was yellowish green, not purple
Springtrap himself is in fnaf 3, but in 2 the prequel he debuts as Purple Guy, who was just an ordinary killer at the time. the "purple guy drawing" addon is a reference to himself.
-
SPRINGTRAP!!!! After watching Hens play fnaf I'm so hyped!

Nah, respectfully as the consumer, gimmie more.
If you want me to commit time to consuming art (books, TV, Movies, Games) Then chisel it into something I'd like tp consume. Gimmie More.
Also, I'm not sure what you mean by "worse in the past." Last I checked, the blood web and it's piecemeal approach to leveling has been the same since launch? At least thats how its been for me? lol I dont know. I just dont bother anymore. Its slow watching it go by. Sorry for the necrojust wait for Springtrap and your problems will be a thing of the past
-
I don't think the game is capable of handling a spider killer. we've already seen the strain and limitations of Ghoul
-
Fixated pretty much forces the necessity of aura perks on indoor levels. walking too OP.
-
...they brought this back again? let me guess, there's still no random items addons and offerings are disabled?
easy pass, marvel Rivals is more interesting right now with Ultron. wake me when purple guy arrives

I think Hens made a beginners guide that was pretty telling. It was decent enough, but made no mention of hiding as a strategy at all. No disrespect to Hens, but it's been a long time since he was a beginner. But I've only played DBD for 2 years and I remember what that was like. Hiding was pretty much all that I did for the first 100 - 200 hours of Survivor gameplay.
I'm now 2000 hours in and for me, sneaking around is still a better way to survive than looping, even with the Distortion nerf (you can kinda play around aura reads with locker use and running fixated to get a head start on Nowhere to Hide).
I don't like that the devs are pushing "loop or die" gameplay, but I also think they're just responding to player feedback and I guess most of us prefer playing Scooby Doo chase simulator.
the crappy maps almost kinda force it. what fo you do on Haddonfield vs Nurse besides just die? you bush tech lol.
I have fond memories of running Fixated + QnQ + OoO to "accidentally" reveal my aura while tbagging the killer thrn i walk to a locker and hide. seeing a Nurse start opening lockers, kick the gens, leave, come back, open lockers, kick gen, leave, but then they pretend to leave but actually double back, but I anticipate the double back and they still can't find me will always be amusing to me.
I understand killers hate that but that is what true stealth is; drawing aggro while burning zero resources .
-
nice variety, I'm liking it. there's so many i want to try!
-
it's the perfect perk to take being a dbd veteran playing with casuals who LOVE indoor levels.
or if I play with people who despise indoor levels, I'll take Illumination as my way of saying "sorry "
-
pinhead was never removed for the sights he had to show, so don't count on it.
tokyo ghoul owners seemed pretty enthusiastic with Kanekis introduction to debut enough to create an alternate universe Kaneki and "ruin" his character to make him a killer.
I don't think they'd do a 180 like that

Chinese New Year and related items have been retired in favor of Blood Moon. Feels like a downgrade honestly, I liked the toolboxes that launched fireworks.
there's needing to hit skill checks for BNP, then there's needing to hit skill checks for those fireworks.
I love those things so much!
-
not a bad idea, tbh. I just stopped playing kaneki after the latest nerfs and went back to Legion.
-
legions still going strong, getting tons of love and cosmetics. killers come and go but Legion is eternal
-
this games balance is cooked as long as levels are allowed to be so terrible and Nurse is allowed to exist
-
8m is ballpark the length of the eyrie of crows shack, so about triple that. ballpark.
-
I'm praying that the next 2v8 has a lot of new things in it. the "Play survivor while you queue for killer" looks really cool.
-
we are getting some perks adjustments in the new update. I'm personally excited to have unlimited empathic range!

As soon as the new AFK system is in full swing I'm quitting and so are my friends.
AFK means away from keyboard. The fact that this new afk system is being done at all is just feeding the killers and this game is getting nothing but worse and worse. It's an absolute joke. There is no more strategy or skill involved at this point. The main goal is for survivors to be in plain sight at all times (thousands of aura perks, visual perks, auditory perks etc) so the killer can kill everyone.
Lockers, totem cleansing, ducking behind walls, running the killer the entire match, running unkooks the entire match.. i mean i can go on and on about all the strategy that is being removed. All because the game is flooded with underage kids that cannot learn skill nor strategy and grew up entitled. So entitled that its a constant nurf on survivors and buffs on killers and now a new afk system that has NOTHING TO DO WITH ACTUALLY BEING AFK. How asinine is that. It's now going to be a micromanaged game to support killers. I have complained for years how easy it is to play killer and zero skill involved but hey, as long as no one has to think and games only last 10 minutes at most its a win I guess.I'll stick around but I think this may be it for my friends.
-
I'm sorry if I overlooked it, but what's the status on Invocations?
do I need to rush into the basement like a headless chicken?
-
nostromo and toba are separate despite both being in the dvarka deepwood (thank God)so I HOPE that this level will be separate...
-
I enjoyed him when he was more OP, back when you didn't need any of his greasy techs.
safe to say that Springtrap will make this killer irrelevant. and on the killer side I'd rather play Legion than Ghoul.
-
I wish I got them p100, they are my default killer. congrats on finishing the grind!
-
I love manipulating survivor behaviour by merely having a perk exist. <3 Dissolution
-
it's the "cicadas" that do it for me. otherwise I think its ok.
-
@Mr_K said:
Don't think it's the game itself. It's built around the personalities that stream it and the lore.
watching Hens play it was a ton of fun

Boons are also Trash on Indoor Maps.
I'd love to see how you play against an always active Shadowstep and CoH. its annoying enough youll feel the need to keep breaking it.
Healthy survivors breaking LoS under Shadowstep saves as much health states as CoH recovers. if the level has floors like midwich or RPD, even better.
-
bhvr won't give us new indoor levels to abuse boons. I invite people to say boons are trash on indoor levels.
I was really praying that Freddy fazbears was gonna be primarily indoor
-
if the first game released in cereal boxes in the 90s i think us oldies would be nostalgic for it

Well, I will be the opposite if Legion is in the next 2v8. I will play until then and take a break during 2v8 if Legion is back and Oni is also included with no nerfs.
That being said, yeah solo is feeling rough for sure.
ill keep my fingers crossed for ya that they add way more to the next 2v8 so that hopefully you'll see less Oni and Legion. kinda wild how tame Nemesis is but Oni got a lot
-
you'll be happy to know that the animatronic will be a fun solo q killer
-
i feel "stealth elements with audio cues" is appropriate. he's meant to be sussed out by cameras and noises to figure out what he's doing before he gets on top of you.
-
looks like a popular addon because it's fun, so i hope it doesn't get nerfed just because "popular=bad". the rope seemed more of a good addon that you'd always want to use.
-
the jury is still reaching a verdict on the cameras, but as of right now survivors cannot ignore Xenos baked in counterplay
-
sometimes it's nice to delegate the mental load to a perk so you can concentrate on other areas, such as totems or the killer itself.
-
happy birthday, enjoy the outfit!
-
as a predominately Legion main, this guy will at least have m1 fallback. good statuses, funky addons, 24m TR at 115% dudes got some options. hell, he has 24m TR when Unknown doesn't.
-
@ChaosWam said:
I initially thought being able to scan him and give out aura read while he still has a TR was going to be a problem.
But his undetectable game is strong, as an undetectable enjoyer. I was pleasantly surprised and now I understand why he has that counterplay.Well played, BHVR.
I love m1 killers, stealth, and giving survivors fun toys to horse around with a la Xeno. perfect killer for me. with his addons it seems there are options for playing around the Axe to not make him anything like Huntress, which is a relief.
safe to say this guys gonna be more liked than Ghoul

Either Hens or Otz will put out a video saying Machine gun is back and it will become the next forum outrage.
seeing the reactions to Hens using the meme B.F.F. build for 1 game was genuinely stressful
-
I don't see how using half your build and strategically losing generators would be more problematic than, say, haste stacking or end game build stacking.
I am looking forward to seeing how it plays out, though. I love Machine Learning so I plan on testing it
-
eh, there's plenty of duds to go around for either side of the aisle. Pinheads my favourite killer then there's Skull Merchant in the corner.
