Hey at least you weren't using Blood Favor, right? Wait until Hens makes a video about how it's unfun for survivors, and it will get nuked
I was genuinely sweating when the end game Legion haste build came out, not gonna lie. but nah, I don't dabble in blood favour.
if I ever do block pallets, it's specifically for a fun noed surprise with None Are Free. maybe I see blood favour too much on Kaneki with yamoris mask that I never considered doing it myself
-
a Parasyte would make bhvr double dip on their survivor cosmetics. no need to thank me bhvr I know I'm a genius
-
nemesis: once per match, call in an umbrella air crate that deploys a one time use Rocket Launcher at a supply crate. insane arc like Springtrap axe, heavily slows your walk to a crawl, but anything caught in the blast goes down and anything breakable explodes.
it's not meant to be practical. sometimes it's about sending a message
-
the new spawn rules feel like an insult when Nurse spawns in seeing all auras on Haddonfield and there's nothing to work with. and they all tunnel at 5 gens
it's like these terrible map rework want you to stealth because quite frankly there's nothing to do. kinda late for that though
-
I'm absolutely rubbish with Ghoul. Legion feels like an old glove whereas playing Ghoul i feel like I'm wearing earbuds and they get caught on a branch as I walk by
-
I hate it but what do you do against 3x background player, 4 flashlights 3x WGLF+ MFT? every down has background players ready to pallet save.
I used infectious and forced Hesitation against this last night and Forced Hesitation barely saved me from a pallet save. from the twitch perspective I am literal evil and a disgusting person. I go into matches happy to pick up immediately, but some games you can't even get one hook in peace.

Some chase music changes were fine but others were way too distacting or just plain loud. A bad chase music rework really ruins playing that killer for me.
I love the Spirits chase theme but man does that one end my own chases sometimes.

it's less that he's hard, and that he is feast/famine. the rough matches are rougher.

of course you dont, because you want to have a useless gimmicky mechanic instead of something interactive and versatile
it's like if I suggested xenomorph's turrets could be broken by the killer and had a potential to remove his power instead of applying minor slowdown on xenomorph while its in the area and you'd be arguing against that.
springtrap has great potential for an extra layer of interactivity and borrowed power and it's being underutilized, resulting in cameras being generally useless and underused and killer having no way to interact with people using them.
it's utterly boring.
survivors already don't use cameras. I'm the only one that does in all my survivor matches and killer games.
springtraps already get angy and try to find me; how is that not interactivity? after enough reveals they are trying to guess my camera. if you want survivors to do something you have to throw them a bone. they're not gonna play a rigged game.
-
then there's times you spawn in seeing the killer or the entire team gets a free heal. that's neat
-
I like Enduring on them. I like fishing for healthy downs at pallets

make doors and cameras more relevant please!!
let springtrap know where survivors are using cameras or if they're TPing, make survivors sitting on cameras reveal where he is going to TP, make this whole thing actually interactive and relevant for gameplay rather than being a side gimmick
as somebody who uses the cameras, I absolutely do not want Afton knowing what camera I'm on.
-
this is why I'm only playing EndTrap for this event; we all get bloodpoints, then you get a spooky surprise at the end.

Popping back in here to thank everyone who's taken the time to share their thoughts here! It's always interesting to get a read on how folks envision recent Killers evolving. We'll be sure to collect relevant feedback and pass it along to the team.

Making the big requests, I see!
swapping rarities with the Loot Bag would tickle me...purple as I use that one every game.
-
slowdown will keep the game going long enough to increase the chance of punishing a survivor mistake but if they make no mistakes and there's no weak link then stacked regression has severe diminishing returns.
id rather something that can cheese a down that nobody expects to get the ball rolling. I prefer a fast down with 1 slowdown perk.
good survivors can play the attrition game if you just can't punch through their defences. I want to smash through that, whether it's Enduring or Machine Learning or Forced Hesitation or whatever.

No but I've been on the stranger things map like 500 times.
I've been seeing Hawkins a ton this past week. I prefer The Game, but I'll take any indoor levels I can get my mitts on these days.

anything in a white aura is unable to be modified or influenced by anything. pink/red auras are fair game.
-
all I can say is...playing against Animatronic makes me feel like I'm playing fnaf so it's a success to me. the gens next to the doors reminds me of rebooting the computer next to an animatronic in Sister Location.
love them or hate them, but bhvr did an outstanding job adaptinf both the Fnaf and Tokyo Ghoul licences, balance aside.

I've been waiting a good while for her to marinate but it seems I may be waiting a while. disheartening to see

Yeah, I wish I could get it more often. I think it is a really fun map, and honestly it is among my top three favorite maps in the game.
it's my favourite level, but seems underappreciated by most so you caught me off guard there General :3
I was hoping you'd appreciate it; Weskers tend to struggle there if you play your cards right

Interesting. Yh Legion with good chase perks feels so much stronger than full regression.
Im curious where is the synergy between All Shaking Thunder and Freddy?
the idea is to fall off heights while teleporting. you can just run Coup, but there's no limit to All Shaking Thunder. I loved playing him on Toba Landing on that level I'd usually teleport from the main building and wherever I go I've got extra lunge.
When I was playing him my build was something like "All Shaking, Surge, Gift of Pain, Jagged Compass" so I was always teleporting to the priority generators.

I feel like Twins is going to be dead due to this perk. Fortunately I don't slug, only leave the occasional couple second pressure down, so I won't be affected. But I worry for Killers that are heavy on slug pressure - Oni, Myers, Twins, Billy, etc. This perk could easily knock them all down a tier. If that's what it takes to make slugging less common so be it. But there has to be a more elegant solution.
I remember when Circle of Healing killed Twins; Charlotte physically could not pick up to hook before the victor victim would be picked up. Twins players seem to always have it rough

I appreciated the warning. sure enough, these guys were on the prowl last night. one of mine even wore the big hat.

It's alright. Not the worst I've ever played. I didn't even give Lights Out a chance first time around lmao
that event would have been fine if they just had the courage to tell doc and Legion players that they are glorified Trapless Trappers; capitulating to them single handedly ruined the spirit of the whole mode

Wish I got Toba Landing more often.
It is one of my favorite maps in the game, but I almost never see it.
ever since the map changes I've been craving Toba :(

- Believe me, I'd pay to be in your loop. I'm CONSTANTLY getting the D&D map (the D&D one, not the other one), Hawkins' lab, and the swamp maps. Yes, something's broken in the map rotation anymore.
that's awful
-
I spammed that event queue to learn the map and now I've forgotten how to run it because I never get it
-
I had a ghoul on gas heaven the other night. I don't mind not getting these realms as survivors used those offerings a lot before the map nerfs
-
Dissolution and Enduring are goated on Legion. Mindbreaker is almost mandatory on Springtrap, and very appreciated on Vecna as his items reveal his aura.
All Shaking Thunder pairs very well with Freddy. Artist and PH make great use of Zanshin
-
id love a scourge hook that regresses generators every time I hook somebody.
-
Judith's tombstone is a fine iri addon. the piece can go get itself tombstoned however
-
perfectly balanced killer that is fair for solo q; sounds like a recipe for a nerf since people would rather face Ghoul 24/7
-
were you playing Bar Clown? Or House Charlotte? maybe Carnival cardboard cutout Ghostface?
if you mess around now as killer maybe it thinks you're afk

@ChuckingWong said:
I am holding firm that currently this guy just has too much given to him in his kit.
Teleport with no meaningful cooldown or obvious tell, you can actually scare your teammates by traveling them. Positioned next to or closeby hooks as well or too many of them …… or all the above honestly.
Undetectable base as a ranged killer….
A ranged killer that has full movement speed
A mechanic that forces you to give him back his power or you give up a free grab/location of where you are
Only for a full MS ranged killer to just hit you again….so you gave up a hatchet in your back… to take another easy one
Its currently too much given, and nothing taken from him.
Something(multiple things) needs to be looked at just from a base kit perspective on this killer.
The current counterplay to him is "dont get spotted/be efficient on generators"
Cameras you cant really interact with on most maps. And even if you do, you are leaving yourself vulnerable to a grab. Youd have to have like a coldwind map like rotten fields to ever really bother touching them. And even then its just too long for someone to be off a generator with this guys current lack of meaningful counterplay.what do you mean by can't use cameras? I'm sure you don't mean LoS blocking like Lerys/Meat Plsnt because the reveal goes through walls. maybe on a corn level it's not as helpful to 4 man swf
in the scenario that 1 survivor is being chased and 3 are on gens, except in thr scenario that the 1 survivor goes down anyways, that survivor would appreciate the reveal. or if you are solo q, having everyone on the same page is still a huge boon. The thing is that you reveal Springtrap intermittently. you only need to keep doing it a couple times a minute. Even intermittently there's some generator inefficiency but if it means increasing awareness and making survivors more safe, it's absolutely worth it if it delays the down. it's basically impossible for Springtrap to loop around something like the meat plant freezer room
-
I love Enduring on Legion; you can cheese downs against healthy survivors if they don't realize you have it. I do this by waiting to use my power til the last moment; survivor will panic stun you because "stun=lose power=good" so they'll be injured on the same side as you which gives you the grab. I run Dissolution too so I really, REALLY do not care about pallet stuns.
-
I want the original one back. pain res players still tunnel anyways so the rework was pointless
-
now that frank's is getting changed i should spam them more
-
@Mandy said:
Would be really helpful to have a bit more detail…"just sucks" is really nothing we can use at all I'm afraid!
I'll hazard a guess and say there's more outside than people thought; people expected a Lerys or Meat Plant, and didn't expect a killer shack.
I was very harsh on the level when it was revealed I admit, but it is a fun level.
my only REAL complaint is that the animatronics don't sing for long enough! I love the band!

It sure feels awful, doesn't it?
I just wanted to keep my OG Freddy and Skull Merchant 2.0, just 2 killers out of 40, don't think I am asking for too much here.
And now that you've mentioned it, my friend, I also had this terrible luck in Overwatch. Not just aspects of my favorite characters but also the game's format itself. But, in some capacity all those things that I lost eventually came back, so in OW there was a happy ending.
I ended up migrating to OW as a result, and fell in love with Mercy and her original ultimate. Just my luck to love the first majorly reworked character..
thankfully in dbd my real true loves The Legion, even when it was commonly said they were the "worst killer in dbd". Thankfully my fellow Canadians have been aging gracefully :)

Ghoul now he is really fun to play as killer and has everything you need. Great chase power and mobility.
I used to main Oni but he starts too slow but in 2vs8 last time I played him only. He has most fun power in game but sadly it's very limited. I seem to face best of the best survivors with him so got tired of that.
Dracula is killer I like a lot too. I like his shapeshifting abilities and I wish he had add on to be wolf only. I might let survivors pet him.
I play Huntress/Were-elk when I want to mori survivors. Love the skin.
Wraith used to be my bp farming main.
Demogorgon was also one of my old mains. But newer ones unfortunately outperform him pretty significantly. He is stil one of best looking ones and satisfying power to use.
I miss Leprose Lichen; 24/7 auras is cool and acceptable now. I miss having my portals br legit slowdown
-
I'm probably the most forgiving person when it comes to the Ghoul; i don't care about auto aim, or easy injures, deep wound, or holding survivors in place. him grabbing you over vaults is really lame though.
I don't mind a good chase killer, as we all love Bubba. maybe I'd tolerate him more on old dbd maps with old DH but facing Ghoul on Haddonfield or some Cornwinds in 2025 is cruel and unusual punishment

I just play the characters I enjoy and have fun!
Though unfortunately, the characters I enjoy tend to get a lot of changes. First was Freddy, now Skull Merchant.
Can't seem to take a break, really.
I had terrible luck with that in League, which is why I ultimately retired. I know it's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all, but when I do love I love too deeply.
it's why ultimately I'm not upset that Cenobites been forgotten about, because you can't lose what's been abandoned.
-
when a killer realizes they will get games they get gen rushed anyways, or the survivors patiently wait out your perks and play the attrition game, that's when one realizes generator perks are not the only way.
Surge is my crutch. I run it on almost all my killers. if not that, then maybe Oppression. Sometimes I wish I had more, but there's an opportunity cost of a perk slot and there's only 8 regression events.
I've lost many matches where I come out swinging, dealing massive pressure and yet I can't handle mild generator pressure. it happens, and it makes Pain Res more tempting but the grass is always greener.
Other perks can open windows of Opportunity that mere stalling perks can't but you. If a team is a tough nut to crack, that 1st pain res will only activate after 3 or 4 gens are done. but if you had Forced Hesitation+ Infectious Fright, that down could have been a 4 man slug victory. That chance is lost on most people be cause tons of people don't even know that perk exists.

right now I'm laughing with EndTrap.
I hadn't dabbled in it much before but None are Free paired with Noed make me feel so powerful! Those on my naughty list get a present from the loot bag :3
-
I start using a killer naked to start but then I equip some comfort things.
-
I like to horse around with builds I enjoy. sometimes you lose to your own misplay, but sometimes the survivors just played better and sometimes the RNG is just against you. I try not to sweat those last 2, it happens.
right now I'm just goofing off with end game Springtrap these past couple weeks. I love being able to ease up on teams or eliminate somebody specific I don't like. I will gladly 1k every game if it meant the meanest survivor will be afraid of t bagging at the exit Gates in their future games.
Last night for example I specifically declined a 4k by leaving a Lara even though I had her death secured with Noed+None are Free because I didn't like my Rancor Obsession; I made it a point to meet him at the gates specifically to tell him how I felt and the instant my axe lodged in his back when he was out the gate, he DCd on the spot because he knew I had the Loot Bag. dude wanted to make me miss my axe so he could tbag in my face.
Lara came by and photobombed the mori. Things like that make me giggle.
-
I feel the survivor pool is decent and flexible right now; there's tons of weird and wacky perks you can run now like Treacherous Crows, Wicked, Empathic Connection for example whereas before AoT the survivor meta was much more rigid and defined
there's no perk I feel I have to take like old BT

I also believe its gonna be a niche perk that people will barely use or will die trying to use
But people argue that just the existence of this perk is already gonna change a lot of things in the game. Killers will always be on edge, even if nobody is running the perk. In my opinion it's not that good of an argument because Decisive Strike exists and killers still tunnel everybody out. It seems like taking the DS is not a big of a deal nowadays.
well have to treat every window as a locker now. one more tool like head on/flashbang is no big deal really.
encouraging bullying is passive slowdown and acts as a window of opportunity for a mistake; I'll take these guys over the zero interaction, split rush gens and leave type.
