you know reaching Rank 1 or Iridescent was the main objective of the game, but now that it doesn't matter, what are we exactly playing for?
certainly not blood points or shards
i would say fun, but let's be honest the last time i had proper fun in this game was in 2019
so what's the point for either side ?
i know some of you will tell me survive and kill but every game has a end goal and for dbd it got removed with the worst addition to ever get released SBMMR
i would say the Totem challenges and levels but tbh they don't even feel rewarding ,some few miscs and lore pages that will probably hear once and forget about them, tbh i would be a bit nice to like offer 100 auric cells after reaching level 100, which is you know kinda of impossible tbh, like i grinding the hell out of the saw totem and barely managed to reach 80
but you know at least we can look forward to something i guess?
if u are gonna tell me just stop playing the game, just save it, if everyone took that opinion to heart, nobody would be complaining or playing k?
Every match tells a story. A story about beating the odds, the story about being a hero, the story about killing the toxic teabagger, and so on. I am playing for the storys.

To those that camp:
I main Spirit. She is one of the better killers in the game. I can easily get a 3-4k if it's not a 4-man SWF. I don't need to camp. It is not difficult to follow scratch marks and mind-game survivors into the downed state. You do not need to camp the hook for dear life as if your own life will fall apart if you don't. If you are sweating hard at 3 Gens or even 5, you're not as good as you think are. You need to reassess. Improve your chasing, improve your mind-gaming, step it up.
You're making the match a pain to play, just to satisfy your egos. If you're not at 2 gens and below, what do you get out of proxy camping a survivor? Especially if they weren't being toxic? I'm genuinely puzzled at how many players do this. I get playing toxic back with toxic survivors, I get that. I also understand if it's endgame and you feel as if you have to kill something. But if they're playing the game as intended, then there should be no reason why you are camping except for what I mentioned.
Whenever I switch to survivor, I am tired of facing against killers that refuse to chase you (the point of the entire game), but would rather leave you to camp your teammates on the hook one by one. That is incredibly boring, I cannot and will not play like that as killer. The worst part of it, is that these same killers will be rewarded for it by 12-hooking with a nice 30-40k on the scoreboard. I thought this game was designed to play like cat-and-mouse? Tom and Jerry? No? Anyone?
Moving onward, BHVR needs to take more action against camping. It is ridiculous and antithetical to the point of the game. Tunneling, I have a different perspective on. But I'm not sorry to say this. I will stick my head out and die on this hill.
Killers can camp hooks, survivor can camp generators and palettes. So what is your problem? Play the game. This season I played 33 matches as survivor and met 1 (in words one) killer that camped. Last season I played 131 matches as survivor and met 5 (five) camping killers. You are making a fuss about something that is rare in the range of 3-4% of all my matches.

When the game first game out it was intended for survivors to hide and play super stealthy all game, only doing gens bit by bit when they were certain the killers weren't around. Infact the balance of the game was that survivors actually escaping was a rare occurance, and gens were really just there to give them something to do.
I am happy to meet someone who knows.

But they aren't mutually the same. If teabagging is "disrespectful" all it does is possibly hurt the emotion of a person playing the killer, doesn't actually effect the game itself like leaving someone on the ground to bleed out, I mean "strategy".
Stop making strawman arguments. If a player is teabagging because he feels like disrespecting another player, it is not just clicking a key. It is the intention like showing the middle finger, or throwing a shoe. "Ohh, it is just a finger". But it is a finger shown in disrespect.

This happens almost exclusively when I play survivor. I'll be wondering around or doing an objective, and I'll hear this short sound that plays that's hard to describe. It's similar to the sound from the perk Small Game, only quieter and softer.
I don't have any notification perks, and it's not from other survivors.
My only guess is that it's a totem or chest nearby, but I cannot find any discussions about the sound anywhere, and the official wiki doesn't say that they emit occasional sounds,
Record a match and highlight the sound. My crystal ball is in repair right now.

me : nice hacks.
david : thanks, I have them for face campers like you. Trash killer. Get better.
like bro WHAT?!😂😂😂
He then informed me a hacked account is 2 bucks.. explains why it’s so rampant and they don’t care.
It happens a lot. My favorite streamer had cheaters yesterday for two times. I am just watching another streamer who has to wait for the ending of his penalty because he had a cheater and had to disconnect. He is ranting into my ears.

I'm at a loss.
I play survivor a ton and am halfway decent in terms of game sense. In solo queue, I'm frequently teamed up with players who seem new or just don't understand aspects of the game.
However, as killer I am frequently placed against teams who are pros at body blocking, flashlight saves, and basically survivors I wish I had on my team. The thing is, I rarely play killer and am not very good. Matchmaking makes no sense.
Is it like that for anyone else?
I play 90% of my matches as survivor and 10% as killer. I am under the same impression as you.

@LuthirFontaine said:
You guys are at 61% how much higher do you killers want?
I play mainly as survivor. 61% kill quote means that most of the time 2 survivors can escape. Technically this is a tie and not a victory for the killer. Wins for killers in terms of MMR are 3k or 4k. So killers need at least 75% kill quote. I myself playing bad as survivor still have a 30% escape quote. And I feel pretty happy with this quote.

Please check the win/loss ratio of both sides and balance it accordingly . I find it hard to believe killers are underpowered when every single game I go into as a red/purple rank survivor accompanied by other red and purple rank survivors, the killers just stomp survivors every single game. Constantly I find that people die or get left on the hook still. Not to mention all of the bugs survivors have to deal with that mess up the loop.
If you would lose literally every match, you would never arrive irisdiscent ranks. You would stick to gold in best case. That's being said, so what is the truth?

If you do not have such a problem with camping and tunneling, good for you. But obviously most people do.
I am a killer main, but I do play both sides, and know exactly how ridiculous camping and tunneling are. Not only are they completely unfun for most people, but they are also ridiculous in the way that they are just easy way outs for killers. It takes very little skill to just stand in front of a hooked survivor and wait until they die, and tunneling them out of the match also doesn't take that much skill.
It reminds me a bit of Bastion in the lower ranks of Overwatch, just far, far worse.
And a few people claiming that camping and tunneling aren't actually that unfun to go against does NOT change the fact that most survivor players indeed find those strategies very, very unfun. It also won't magically balance out queue times again. There are good reasons why killer queue times are clearly longer than survivor queue times.
Also, that last argument is beyond questionable. How does one come to the conclusion that the complaints about camping and tunneling are because survivors want free escapes? Just how? People complain about camping and tunneling because they are so unfun to go against them, that is the simple truth. And camping and tunneling nerfed certainly doesn't give survivors free escapes, not even close.
I also have no, absolutely no idea, how the fact that "not all 5 players can win the match" changes anything about the problems people have with camping and tunneling? The reason why people say camping and tunneling are so unfun to go against is because they simply are so unfun to go against, because you don't get to play the game in any proper way. Especially when you are just camped to death.
You can dismiss the opinions of what I am guessing is 98% of the survivor player base, but that won't change anything. And people that simply get too fed up with those tactics simply will stop playing the game, no matter how often you tell them that camping and tunneling isn't actually that unfun.
I document my matches. Camping happens so rarely that it does not need to be mentioned. Tunnelling happens more often. Honestly, I use "off the record" in addition to the basekit "borrowed time". If I don't escape with it, I have to certify myself a failure. And if you observe Mother Nature, a predator always picks the weakest link in the chain to hunt. It's the wounded animal, the old animal, or the weak animal. It's so natural and normal that you don't even need to talk about it. If a killer in DbD, who is imitating a predator, does not imitate the successful tactics from nature, he will lose, teabagged and bullyed in the exit and mocked in the chat. And this is not entirely undeserved, because he did not do his best to fulfill his task as a killer.
And on the subject of fun: I've been playing DbD since the very beginning, since 2016. And since 2016, a variety of survivor that I would describe as "selfish" and "entitled" has been discussing fun as a survivor. They never, let me repeat, NEVER discuss the fun of playing as killer. You didn't bring up the point either. The killer is supposed to play by the survivor's rulebook and get his own fun, despite bullying and teabagging from selfish survivors, and is also supposed to fun the survivor. This is complete bullshit. Survivors have to learn to lose, they have to learn to earn and work for their escapes, and they have to learn to improve if they want more escapes. And killers should not be nerfed constantly, over and over again since 2016. Killers have to be strong and should use all allowed tactics, otherwise escapes are worthless. And I've seen phases where so few players wanted to play killer that you had to wait 10 minutes for a lobby as a survivor. And then killers could dodge the lobby if they didn't like something. In Europe, where I live and play, there has been 100% blood points reward for killers between 9pm and 11pm for days. Already now, before the nerf.

Also, the one is only a visual taunt, while strategies like slugging, but more importantly, camping and tunneling, are just extremely unfun to go against, ruining gameplay, and very unhealthy for the game.
To show disrespect for the PLAYER can be a taunt, yes. It is nonetheless displaying disrespect.
Keep in mind, when you read my text, that 90% of ma matches are as survivor. Camping and tunneling are not extremely unfun, they are not ruining a game and are not very unhealthy. You have to broaden your logic to that: there are 5 players needed to play a match of DbD. 1 person has to play to role of a killer and 4 persons have to play the role of survivors. How can you say that basic tactics of killers are extreme unfun if you keep in mind, that not all 5 players can win the match? Some players have to loose, some can win. You are asked to accept defeat. Survivors are not entitled to get free escapes.

Never seen that definition of city before.
I don't think anyone would consider an old west ghost town a city. A city is generally much larger and more high-density than a town, and the style of buildings changes to reflect this (space is at a premium in high-population areas, so you build tall, not wide, and there's much less greenery and unused lots.)
So you would suggest NPC's walking around? (high population area)

Its pretty fun going around on my perkless level 1 Myers yoinking survivors off generators with ease. I don't like playing killer though. Not because it isn't fun but because it just isn't what I am interested in doing in the game. I only do it from time to time for shenanigans.
As I said before, playing killer for a substantial amount of time (so you get survivors that know some basics of the game). By stomping babys one can not notice how unfair and unbalanced in disadvantage of the killer this game is. Devs have to balance the game around players who know the basic skills.

The change is intended to change a playstyle that has been talked about publicly in a negative light for years. This change is entirely killer main's faults for continuing a playstyle that was extremely detrimental to the survivor experience of the game. Had killers simply not done this so much and for so long this change probably never would've happened and you could've gotten away with slugging that 1 or 2 survivors for more than 45 seconds. This was a big enough problem, for a long enough time, that it basically demanded something be done about it and it finally has. If people would simply play the game in a more respectable and sportsmanlike way then these changes wouldn't be necessary.
How was your killer match? Tell me about your fun......

A desire for balance and fairness in a game isn't entitlement. I could say the same for you with how you keep responding to this subject too. If you have to slug a survivor for more than 45 seconds then you probably also want "easy and free" wins too.
I play survivor for 90% of my matches. Playing killer is not fun, is not rewarding and BHVR is always nerfing killer. Thia is the exact opposite of a fair and balanced game. Put your money where your mouth is. Play killer for a substantial amount of time and tell me, how much fun it is.
There were times when survivor had to wait 10 minutes for a lobby. In these times they were very nice and didn't do anything to harass or bully the killers, because I have to inform you: for a match of DbD you need to motivate one player to play as killer. I want be able to play matches. Waiting 10 minutes for a lobby and get dodged because killer can pick their survivors is not fun. But perhaps you need it to learn the hard way.

I'm ready to play the game for the first time without having to worry about the killer leaving me on the ground for an entire bleed out. If killer mains are so upset that they have to quit the game instead of adjusting how they play which was detrimental to the overall survivor experience of the game then they probably didn't really care about proper balance to begin with. People will keep playing killer and as I said maybe its time for a new generation of killer mains. All they have to do is incentivize the roles. I actually think a lot of killer mains both old and new are going to like playing around the idea of not being able to slug out survivors for the 4k. I've said many times that this game needs fundamental change and I'm glad I'm starting to see that happen.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3206778#Comment_3206778
Its toxic because the killer is choosing to ignore you on the ground instead of putting you on the hook. It turns out being left on the ground with no option but to endure a very long bleed out so you don't get a stacking leaver penalty is not fun at all. Killers should be punished for slugging and now they will be if they choose to ignore survivors for long periods of time. This is going to stop slugging very fast because killer mains are going to quickly see that it is fruitless to do it. This is a very good change for the game and I'm glad they did it.
Entitled survivor spotted, who wants easy and free wins.....

Let me start by saying I play survivor about 90% of the time. The killer just is not scary, unless you're facing an expert nurse or a killer that's running rare add-ons. When I want a relaxing match, I pick survivor. Does this make sense in a horror game?
F13 had way more than its fair share of developer issues, and as much as I take issue with some of the decisions of BHVR I'd definitely grant they are way more competent than Gun Media/Illfonic
However one thing F13 got right is the THREAT of the killer, there was not much tbagging because you better hope he doesn't catch up to you. Sure you can bully Jason also, but he gets stronger the more you do it. I'm not saying the solution is to give killer 1-hit kills. DBD is its own take on the asymmetrical format, but I do think some fundamental changes need to be made to killer to make them more of a threat and less of a joke.
In the early days of DbD, 2016, survivors feared the killers. They used "spine chill" and "premonition". No one was running around. The meta was to hide and not get caught. No one looped around structures or pallets.
If by some lucky chance 5 generators could be fixed, most killers had "No one escapes death". You could take that literally. NOED was with no time limit and no totem. Endgame collaps was not invented. So a game could be endlessly. Even then, all survivors could still die. If they got the gate open, they stayed on the line in the exit and got hit once or twice more so the killer could get more points.

They were not well thought out because it took me seconds to dismantle each claim as false. That makes me believe them to be "Doomsaying", as something that is nothing is falsely claimed to be "doom". I have heard hyperbolic claims that this will remove all Killers from the game, and they utilize those false arguments as the basis.
I gave a counter for all of those examples that are easy to either utilize or work around. That means those complaints have no merit. The issue they are claiming "exists", simply does not. There are only two reasons I can think of. The first is they lack the brainpower or desire to come up with those counters on their own. The second is they maliciously want to continue 4 minute bleedouts, and will create false arguments to force people like myself to address them, otherwise their lies be treated as the truth.
Since you did not counter my counters then they are either accurate, or you cannot disprove them. Maybe someone else will come along and prove me wrong, but you are basically saying "you wrong" and providing no evidence for your claim. Just as some people like to use the math meme of 1+1=3, based on faulty logic, maybe one of us is making that false claim. I believe myself to be the one saying 1+1=2 however.
I do not need to write with a person who doubts my brainpower. You can see the logic in that, yes or no? You are such a ( I stop myself being polite).

In a pool of Blights, Nurses and Weskers with your typical meta perks and builds (Lethal Pursuer, Scourge Hooks, Eruption etc) how do "you" make the game more fun to play or interesting for other players?
Me:
- I play weaker killers like Clown and Trapper (I play 13 killers in total)
- I "sometimes" use non meta perks and builds like for example, Distressing Hag, Clown, Trapper and Wesker (Sloppy Butcher/Claurophobia/Unnerving Presence/Distressing)
- Although i like Wesker i stopped using him bc there are too many Weskers right now

- I play Body Block Hag
- I play No Way Out Trapper
- I play Twins
-I play all Hexes on killers sometimes
- I "never" burn moris ever
- I never use iris
Good thing for players like me and your welcome! )
I play 90% of my matches in the role of survivor. I nearly never see a survivor caring for the fun of the killer. Not even me. If I play survivor, I want to escape.
That being said: if I play the 10% of my matches as killer, I am trying to down a survivor as fast as possible. As soon as I hooked the survivor I leave the hook and allow the other survivors to unhook. I do not want any survivor to die on first hook, but to have a fair trial with much interaction and a 4k in the ending. And I do not play Nurse or Mastermind, I do not like them, and I do not even have Blight. I prefer Spirit, Nightmare or Wraith.

No one wins all the time. In fact you should take a piece of paper and a pencil and take notes. I prefer an excel sheet. Please do not hesitate to post me real numbers, not biased opinions. And, to avoid misunderstandings, I play 90% of my matches as survivor, so I am survivor main. But I want balanced fair matches, even for killers. I really don’t understand why Moris needed to be reworked in the first place! They were nerfed plenty and the only way killers could punish someone for bringing in a key. Granted, keys were nerfed, but the latest iteration of both perks cancelled out each other.
Im just chalking it up to BHVR being BHVR. These are the same people who nerfed Wraith when he was in a good spot, made Freddy super boring to play as it against, gave us the horrible Twins chapter and made sure to make them so frustrating to use that you’ll start asking “who are the Twins” and thought the Boil Over buff was a good idea. Let’s not forget how they nerfed Moris out of nowhere so killers couldn’t use them up but left keys alone for a long time.
I really think this is all so new players don’t get frustrated and continue to play in hopes they’d spend some money. At least they’re doing the right thing and announced it early and are willing to test it. I’m going to give them the benefit of a doubt and hope they’d at least not introduce the new Mori system and leave the basekit UnbreakaBill. They just need to rework the perk to only work once during a match and not unlimited 22s self pickups.
I can underline it all. Very well written.

That's one specific area and who knows why, maybe all the killer mains teams up on SWF after winning all day as killer.
In North America, it is 100% survivor bonus about 99% of the day. I've only seen a 50% killer bonus one or two times and it immediately goes back to survivor. The game is broken in favor of killer.
Are you wanting 4Ks all the time even at high MMR? 4Ks should be rare, it shouldn't be so normal for killers to 4K all the time. How would you feel if survivors 4E, normally?
That is one region, Europe. I am under the impression that Europe is an important market for BHVR, or not?
Furthermore, if the bloodpoint incentive was just one time, it would be a random event. But it is every evening now, for 3 or 4 evenings, from 9 pm to 11 pm. It is in low MMR, where I live, and in high MMR. I can see it watching killer streamers.
And the game is broken for survivors. Pick your favorite killer streamer in high MMR (unless you are in high MMR) and write down some informations: how many victories, how many 0k, 1k, 2k, 3k and 4k does he achieve. How many bloodpoints does the high mmr killer streamer gain, and so on. Please post me these information to prove your point that the killer is OP. Thank you.

@EntitySpawn said:
Yes I know it's not even out yet, and that is what bugs me the most how BHVR just overlook and over complicate everything.
So first of all the whole point of this mori change is to make them more common to see (which is good I agree we should see them more, cant say I ever see them... although some definitely need updating, currently mobile DBD has better moris for wraith, trapper etc.) Encase you arent sure what the change is, whenever the final standing player is put into the dying state a mori will automatically trigger and end the game giving the killer the win with a nice mori animation.
However here is every issue with this:
- The mori only triggers when the last person is knocked down, this means any game that doesnt result in a 4k you wont see this happen. (This is because survivors dont tend to leave people until they're dead on hook, it's rare for everyone to leave while someone is still alive) since a 4k is supposed to be more rare than a 3,2 or 1k this means you wont really encounter this system.
- This means more killers will slug for the 4k, this is just a boring thing that happens in the game. Whether you're the slugged player or the last one standing it's just boring. Some killers will also feel the need to if they want to see the moris
- There are numerous challenges that require you to kill someone by your own hand, this now basically means get a 4k or hope for the very small chance everyone leaves before you down the remaining player and hope they dont get hatch. This is too rare to happen and challenges shouldn't keep forcing a 4k since that's not the balance point. You also cant use perks/offerings to do this as you changed them
- The actual mori offerings are now a gamble and promote bad and boring gameplay. As mentioned before you need to slug for the 4k or hope on the very small chance of everyone abandoning people (which let's be honest most survivors just wait at the gate) this mean killers will massively feel forced to slug for the 4k as the offering insists you do it or you will get 0BP from the offerings (which can cost 3k+).
- From point 4, the mori offerings are a gamble of you will get a 4k. Why wouldn't people just use set BP offerings and guarantee rewards no matter how the game goes. Remember a pudding is 100% BP, that's a 40k bonus meanwhile the best mori offering gives 20k and is a risky gamble. This makes mori offerings pointless. (Personally I'd rather a refund)
- Rancor, killed the perk. Having someone exposed at the end isnt worth it. Your obsession could be dead and all this does is down them, stuff like BT etc. Will protect them. It's too niche to have the obsession alive, fully healthy and next to you. Might as well just use NOED and guarantee an exposed on whoever is near and can give inst downs on multiple people (REMEMBER WE DONT WANT META PERKS, MAKING PERKS WEAK WILL JUST STOP THEM BEING USED AND FORCE LESS RANGE OF PERKS USED)
- Devour, the whole point of devour was the mori. The ability to instantly kill someone where they was even through DS. However the change now stops that, while you can still kill someone instantly on hook you have to worry about pallet saves, flashlights, sabo saves, DS etc. All of this is not including giving survivors extra time to cleanse your hex before you can get them on a hook. (REMEMBER WE DONT WANT META PERKS, MAKING PERKS WEAK WILL JUST STOP THEM BEING USED AND FORCE LESS RANGE OF PERKS USED)
- Giving survivors base unbreakable, while I dont have a problem with the 45seconds it raises issues. This 45seconds should be a set amount, no survivor should be able to pick themselves up faster alone. (Even if the recovery bar is full they must wait 45seconds) but still what about some core killer issues? Huge maps, survivors spawning separated on multiple gens straight away, spawning on hexs? (If anyone will use hexs, you're kinda killing them all)
- Unbreakable, why is unbreakable 100%? That makes it way better than a boon... you know a boon which you have to place and be within range. Make 0 sense and we can exactly buff boons to silly numbers or itd be impossible to even slug.
- With unbreakable being so fast this makes flip flop, powerstruggle even worse to verse. All it takes is one survivor to go down in a pallet with this and have a flashlight near or just someone near for the pallet save and it's a 100% escape as the killer is forced to get rid of that other survivors. This makes a lose lose situation and not a fair or fun thing to experience (even if this is more swf its dumb)
- Twins... just gonna say that, theres just so many opportunities to abuse everything getting added against this killer. By the time you have traveled over after downing with victor that player is like to have alot of recovery with unbreakable ready for powerstruggle, boil over etc. To get in unhookable spots.
All in all this causes alot of issues, some impacting gameplay other impacting usefulness of perks and offerings which will cause meta and less variation in things being used. THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS IS TO MAKE MORIS MORE COMMON, it doesnt even do that unless you 4k every game. It's an over complicated system causing more issues and not even achieving the main goal.
I could probably find more issues with it but i only read the patch once and going over obvious things the devs should know is about as boring as being slugged for the 4k will be every game.
Why wasnt ivory mori just made base kit but it cant be used through DS (the prompt does pop up) this makes it possible to see a mori every game if you get someone ready for death hook. This would be 100000% times easier to do and achieves what is wanted without forcing boring gamestyles like slugging for the 4k... also remember moris actually rob killers of certain hook perks anyway.
First of all: I appreciate how much work (thinking and writing) you put into that comment.
I have the information from streamers that the rework of mori is because the devs want to nerf the mori? How dou you get the idea that they want the mori be more often seen?
There are further problems:
- I as survivor am fixing a generator. Killer downs a teammate. Nowadays I have to stop fixing and walk over to pick my mate up. Then I can continue fixing because I know that the survivor can pick himself or herself up. It impacts killer and survivor tactics.
- And this basekit is not unbreakable, but better than unbreakable. Unbreakable is one time per trial, and this basekit is said to be infinite.
- I had some matches, most memorable, when the killer hooked one mate and downed 2 other mates. And I was standing and trying to safe the trial, and succeeded sometimes. Time to be a hero? Heroes are no longer needed, just hide.
- It breaks the killers set of tactics.
- And worst of all: killers are the "Kellerkind" of BHVR, meaning the unloved and disadvantaged part of community. They are nerfed and furthermore nerfed, from 2016 until 2022. How often did the mori system get nerfed? I remember at least 2 times, this would be the third time. Same with NOED. And so on.

You know, I've even got reported for being nice, and insulted. There's no winning against toxicity, is there?
That is happening. If you play nice and lose, you get insulted. I have no other solution than to not play killer.

Youre oversimplifying the process while ignoring how it works. Yes, every match needs 5 players, but how quickly any given match will find survivors and killers of equal MMR is going to vary, just like it does between regions, at different times, etc. Its an extremely chaotic combination of numbers at any given time, which is why its not a static universal bonus but rather an individual one based on when you are joining the matchmaking pool.
I am glad we could agree on the fact, that a match of DbD needs 4 players for the role of survivor and 1 player for the role of killer. And that if 10 players refuse to play killer, 40 survivors are unable to play as survivors, at the given moment, in this region, in the proper MMR, while breathing and sitting at the chair... did i forget something? You overcomplicate a simple fact: it needs 5 players to play a match of DbD. Do you want to change the matchmaking, that the game tells you, what role you have to play? So that the game says you: ok, you are the killer although you wanted to play survivor?

No, because thats ignoring all of the other factors that are tying into that number, like MMR. The matchmaker works by starting accurate and expanding to be less accurate to get more possibilities of matches, and all that bonus means is that you would be helping the most amount of people who have been waiting if you choose X over Y. If there was no MMR or matchmaking critereon based on location/skill/rank/etc, then you would be correct, but its a bit of a correlation vs causation distinction.
All variants of MMR still need 5 players, 4 players for the role of survivor and 1 player for the role of killer. While I am lower MMR as killer, because I nearly never play killer with the exception of progress in rift and my survivors are newbies, I can watch streamers, who play high MMR. All of us need 4 more players to play a match of DbD. This is fact. And if European streamers get the 100% BP incentive and I being low get the incentive and chat says, that they all get the incentives, this is, how it is.

Queue bonuses aren't a blanket thing like that, they take more factors into account. While it does prove that the bonus isn't stuck on survivor, it doesn't necessarily say much about something like # or even % of people queueing as killer. That doesn't stop people from doomposting about how nobody wants to play survivor because thats where their bonus is, but just clarifying that applies here as well.
I have to bring your attention to one simple fact: if players want to play a game of DbD it needs 4 players for the role of survivor and 1 player for the role of killer. If it is true, and it is, that every evening around 10pm there is a lack of killers now in Europe, how can this be healed by nerfing killers again? If, e. g., 10 players refuse to play killer, 40 players for survivor are unable to play at this very moment.

I'm sorry but nice gameplay just doesn't work anymore
Nice gameplay worked out in the beginning, 2016. Then survivor learned to loop around palettes and how to bully killers. Then it started with toxicity.

That's not proof. That's one screenshot.
This is proof. The screenshot shows RPD background, saying that is a present screenshot. And it shows 100% incentive for killers. So it proves my point.

You’re just an entitled survivor main. You know my ideas are the best thing for the game.
Your ideas are the worst. I used to be a killer main and switched sides, because playing killer is no fun. Your ideas are not well thought out. And you have no right to speak for all of the community, but for yourself, only. It shows how weak your ideas are that you need to argue that all of the community want these ideas. Crap. If just one person speaks up against this nonsense, you are proven wrong.

It can't be a fake buff even if you look at stats. It took a leap to 61% killrates. I can definitely feel it in games, it is very hard to make distance from the killer now. Survivors are going down quickly with not many options.
There's not a shortage of killers.
As I proved with the screenshot, every evening in Europe killers get the 100% bonus. Survivors have to wait for lobbys. So tell me about shortage. And the 61% kill rate is a number without worth, the 12% difference from high to low MMR is.
BHVR should post the numbers for 4k in low MMR, for 4k in high MMR, the numbers for swf and solo q in low MMR and high MMR, and so on.

You are talking about less than 1% of players. You can't balance the game for 1% of the players without ruining the entire game experience for 99% of players. I guarantee you're not a 1% of players, do you want your game play ruined?
And that 1% of players, most of them are cheating.
If you want to balance a game you have to balance it around the better players, not the newbies. This is a simple matter of logic. Otherwise a game goes downhill.
You for sure want this easy solution: you can't pick, if you can play survivor or killer, the game decides what role you have to play. Like the idea? Or how do you want motivate enough players to play as killer? Tell me.

Your point is that killers are overpowered right now? Ok.
You wrote it wrong. I correct it for you: "Your point is that killers "IN HIGH MMR" are "NOT" overpowered right now "AND NEVER WERE".
Data prove it. 61% killer quote means, in one trial 2 survivors escape, in one trial 1 survivor escape. There is a difference of 12%, meaning, and it is known, that killers in low MMR get more 4k than killers in high MMR, so that killers in high MMR suffer.
It has always been like this, it is like this now and it will always be like this, thanks to BHVR, that killer is the "Kellerkind" (deprived und unloved child). And you know what? A match DbD needs 5 players, four players who play survivor and 1 player who plays killer. We once had a time when survivor like me had to wait 10 minutes for matches. If killers are constantly disadvantaged, as has been happening since 2016, why would anyone still play killer for entitled survivors? Player who play killer are already rare 👇️(every evening in Europe right now)

Killers got an overwhelming basekit buff last patch when gen taking much longer, STBFL built-in. Killers have been getting perks base-kit for years and survivors have not gotten any until now because BHVR is finding the game is not balanced and survivors are leaving.
Killers are more than OK.
Killers got a fake buff. Survivor got a basekit buff, and now they want another basekit buff. Players should stop playing killers. I stopped playing Killer a long time ago (with the exception of a few games that were necessary for Rift, but I've always regretted it). Playing Killer is not fun, playing Survivor is much more fun. So have fun with your 10 minute lobbies while waiting for a killer to play with you. I've been there, I've seen those times.

So you are proving my point. Thank you.

Everybody is getting so sick of gen rush squads. I have compiled a couple balance changes that the general population of players want to see.
1) Gen times need to be increased to 2 minutes MINIMUM. This will allow the killer to have more time to chase and down survivors. Survivors want this change too because it allows them to have more time for fun chases.
2) Delete toolboxes. They are just so broken and unhealthy for the game.
3) Corrupt inter needs to be basekit for killer, ALONG with call of brine. The basic kick is way too weak to prevent gens from popping, so we all agree that giving the basic kick a 200% regression rate would even things out.
4) Lol jk, just got out of forum prison and wanted to make a post. Love you all 😎

If killer mains want survivors to stop getting base kit powers then stop playing killer in such a way that demands it.
Oh, first guess is that killers could stop playing at all. Are you forgeting some important point? There are 5 players needed to play a match of DbD. 4 players take the role of survivors, 1 player takes the role of killer. If enough players do not enjoy playing killer, how can one play survivor? Tell me. And this is now: 👇️ stop begging for 10 minutes survivor lobbys.

Killers are making 61% pretty much across the board, so your argument doesn't hold weight, as per the devs.
Proof it.
