I disagree, as a console player for two years and almost consistently making it into high purple/red ranks each season, this game has little if any limitations on console (besides the frames and graphics differences). I have never gone into matches as killer and felt as if I'd been held back by my controller, the only killer I could see being a possible victim of console "limitations" is Nurse, but other than that killer on console is just fine.

Y'know when I started out playing Demogorgon it was extremely hard to hear anyone or anything due to his large feet stomping around everywhere, but eventually after playing for so long the sound just balances out.
-
I'm having this issue, Dbd actually told me it's servers were having a stroke and then allowed me in after the second attempt, only to blue screen as soon as I attempted to queue
-
This whole thread is relying on if the killer decides to camp. The scenario I'm thinking of is if I'm chasing someone and they decide to loop me around the person on hook and eventually farm that person right in front of me then this change makes no sense. It doesn't make sense that I don't have an opportunity as killer to counter-play with a grab because they decided to make a bad decision.

1 or the other. If adrenaline popped before hitting the ground, no balanced.
Good point

How so? Just bad timing. Adrenaline triggered while you were falling, which caused you to have the Exhausted status effect, which in turn, prevented Balanced Landing from activating causing you to be hit.
It's just because timing countered the perks and it basically just be horrible RNG in order for something like this to happen

No. This is likely working as intended. Adrenaline simply triggered before Balanced and as such, you did not get a stagger reduction as you were already Exhausted.
Well if they did function like you said that's pretty depressing ngl

I thought it would be about Deathslinger. His German translation in the steam achievments names him what would be translated as the Collector (der Sammler).
Never knew that, very interesting

It has always been like this, honestly when I opened your post I thought I would've been greeted with a jpg of a trash can XD

This is an awesome idea

Haven't played Oni since the chapter drop, but thanks for the heads up 👍

I agree with how boring he is to play against, I feel no real excitement
Lol why do you want excitement? Why aren't you sleeping?

I mean this looks like a counter but I've also seen a Pyramid Head send Punishment of the Damned through the back end of a pickup truck on Autohaven. Basically it went up the truck and hit me in the face visually.

Run insidious and leatherface. Find one, down them and camp the corpse, theyll come.
That's the most evil thing I've ever heard, but in this case, a neccessary evil.

I tried it with my friend the other day and I can confirm there is nothing in there. In fact the crying stopped while the mori was performing.
Lol, Honestly it would give me chills if the ambience of crying just suddenly stopped because I was killing someone

Bruh what's with all those totems? I'm at red rank and I still use Thrilling Tremors and I'm All Ears with Haunted Ground and Nurses and I still get consistent 4k's. Legitimate hex's are a waste nowadays.
-
I've played as/against him and he's strong but not overpowered, he has counter play to his abilities and being able to read punishment of the damned is very textbook even if a Pyramid Head is trying to fake you out (which is strategic might I add) you'd notice it if you watched behind you in chase and had your head on a swivel.
-
I feel like a clapping gesture outside of using it against Freddy would be a good addition
-
Well being up at red ranks and playing Huntress is half and half once there's a group like that. For me, I'd always apply pressure and get pretty quick downs, but in doing so everytime I managed to attempt to put a person on hook they doubled up on gens. Then when I got the opportunity to make it over there, the gen would already be finished. It's moments like that where I question how am I supposed to get hooks if I don't even have the time to pressure?
-
Honestly if I cage someone with Pyramid Head I just continue to pressure the remaining survivors and eventually go over to see who rescued the caged person so I can get another chase. I always thought the idea of tunneling with him was overpowered, but he honestly doesn't need to. I know there are some that will abuse his kit though.
-
I mean I remember very clearly when the devs have been sloppy in the past. Just a casual match of kyf and I notice three perks belonging to an unreleased "Ashely J. Williams." Basically what I'm saying is, it could very well happen again.
-
I actually play both sides equally
-
I always think I'll do bad on Haddonfield with Pig, Michael, Huntress, Clown, etc but somehow end up with a 4k (This is in red ranks as well)
-
If I'm a killer or survivor I think that calling a match a win/loss is if I depip/black pip or gain a pip

With the current broken match making, it wouldn't matter if you were with your friends or not. I'm red rank and sometimes get some dreadfully low killers and I play solo. LOL If I sense the killer is particularly low rank or lower skill level I just play nicer. Let em hook me. Step in a trap. Make an unnecessarily risky play. Might even let them kill me if everyone else gets out.
Yeah if the killer is low I try to play like I have nothing to lose

What I do when playing with a buddy is try and help the noob out through messages. Like i had a rank 19 tunnel me for 5 gens, he finally hooked me at the very end and my buddy (who was also a noob) couldnt get me off. Tge killer was very haply he killed me in messages so i talked with him a bit, pointed out docs power of stopping pallet dropping, explained dropping the chase etc. He was actually really grateful
That's amazing

I say when you play with your friends just don't go fully stacked or anything. You don't have to feel guilty about just playing well, but since you say you go against inexperienced players when you group with your buds, I'd say as long as you don't go and try to bully the killer by acting toxic or just bringing DS and bullying him with it, then you probably shouldn't feel bad. The job of the survivors is to survive anyway.
Well usually I try to help them out as much as I can and intentionally sacrifice because I feel like I'm expendable against new killers

Longer chases may or may not be holding the game hostage. But sometimes I feel like killers not all of course but some will try their best to chase and down the one Who knows how to loop them well. I mean don’t get me wrong you want to get the most challenging person out first and the weak ones last but in my own opinion it should be weak first to go then the others last.
The chasers occupy time too often so I prefer going for gen jockeys first

Probably kill them both and let The Entity sort it out :D
Without the explanation from the waving survivor, I'd have actually assumed THEY were being the jerk. Then I'd feel a little bad when I got the explanation message...
Unless of course I got the message prior (like I've been running around a few minutes and actually checked my messages midgame), then I'd likely let the waving survivor bounce while I murdered the hidey survivor.
I can see that, that was my first thought originally but finding her sitting down there just felt pretty scummy to me, especially when I think I only hooked her one time before that.

I probably would have misread the situation and assumed the Nea was giving up the Meg to save her own skin, and thus hooked the Nea.
That's understandable, but as I was chasing I definitely noticed a lack of gen ping noises compared to the beginning.
-
I'd usually do that just to see if it was possible to slug that early, if no one brought Unbreakable then I'd just call it a squash game and move on.

I think you're just lucky? At least more lucky than me. I main Nea when I play survivor, and I run Plunderer's all the time. I normally get at least one rare+ item each game, and I escape with something like a Rainbow Map about 2/5ths of the time. I do still get the occasional game where I still only pull common items, so :(
The occasional brown toolbox, but for some reason Nea gets good pulls from chest usually..very strange

Legend states nea was supposed to be a killer way stronger than the legion but the entity was afraid hed lose control of her so he turned her into a survivor but she maintains some of her power linked to the entity so her true power lays dormant and eventually will awaken and she will be the strongest killer ever.
I wholeheartedly believe this

Honestly at times I don't feel like I can even attempt committing to a chase anymore without like 2 gens popping in the middle of it.
