Maybe a good start would be o use thanataphobia. As a lot of survivors, especially the ones playing in SWF, don’t cleanse until the last gen has been completed. Having 4 stacks of thanata most of the game would slow the game down a little.
That's a good idea, but I forgot to mention I am also trying to get Adept Plague. But i really like that so I might use it after I've finished the trophy.

What is he was even TALLER? Like, not "Tall" but "Towering". It would be cool because it suits his appearance better and it would be fun to look down upon the helpless survivors lol.
-
Poor Legion. In my opinion, he was already worse than Freddy.

Oh dear, I used the wrong to/too/two. Too*

Nurse > Spirit > Billy > Hag
Spirit is better than Billy. A good Billy can be looped easily. A good Spirit cannot. A Spirit that can follow scratch marks and sounds is better than a Billy
Spirit at her strongest > Billy at his strongest
I am a Spirit main myself but I would rank her first. The reason why Billy is so good is that he can quickly get across the map using his chainsaw. This is faster than Spirit because Phase Walking has a cooldown, while the chainsaw does not. But, I can't play Billy so I still prefer Spirit lol.

What Survivor Buffs???? Name 3 besides MoM because I can give you about 10 killer buffs in the past 3 months XD
I'm not talking about recently, I'm talking about overall. Since release, survivors have slowly became stronger until recently. Those little buffs don't add up because they are targeted at different problems and none of them actually resolve those problems other than the DS nerf. Survivors shouldn't be stronger than the killer, the killer is an undead monster like ######### lmao.

I already mentioned one that's been in the game for a while that is basically or ALMOST an equivalent. While MoM extends a chase, Spirit Fury basically ENDS it within 3-4 seconds, especially when combined with Enduring.
But on top of that, killers have been getting little buffs here and there for the past year basically. Those little buffs add up.
Mind you, I still think the survivor side is playable, but it's gotten to a point where the majority of matches end with a 3k or 4k for the killer which if the game was "balanced", it would be more like 2 dying and 2 surviving.
Well no, for me it ends in 3-4 people surviving lmao. I wish I lived in whatever world you're playing in, on PS4 middle-ranks killers get gen rushed to death. 3 gens in the time to hook one person is fairly unbalanced lol.
And the game is designed for there to only be 1 survivor. That would be the perfect game because of statistics and what not.
Also, I don't think Spirit Fury ends chases that quickly. Maybe with Enduring they can get an extra hit but then survivors can just run to the next pallet. If you were a very good survivor, Spirit Fury would result in injured unless the killer has one-shot potential. Most of the time, survivors make it to the next vault/pallet anyway.
-
I don't think this can be fixed because for survivors, objectives are split between the 4 of them, while for killer you can keep all of the BP to yourself.
-
The problem is that survivors have too many clutch perks:
Adrenaline, DS (not as much anymore), Metal Of Man (as you said), Borrowed Time, Unbreakable, Deliverance and there's probably more I can't think of right now. It's like a free escape and the killer has no way to counter any of them except DS and Unbreakable. (Deliverance kind of but you'd have to camp to counter it, but then you don't know they have it sooo).
Yeah, Killers have NOED, but survivors have all of this. Like, they CANNOT complain about our NOED. At least they can prevent NOED, we can't prevent most of theirs.
-
I'm not playing as killer because gen rushing is too big of an issue. When a game is supposed to last around 15 minutes but is over in 5-10, you know you have an issue. I'm honestly just sick to death with the gen rushing and there's nothing I can do about it. I have recently started playing The Plague and I'm trying to get her Adept but it's impossible to get kills without anti-gen rush perks. And level 1 Corrupt Intervention just isn't doing it for me. Can anyone help me?
I'm also sick of the attitudes of half of the survivors that play this game. Do NOT teabag and taunt a killer who has been respectful all game, it's very rude and EXTREMELY annoying. I'm sure it doesn't bother people but when I don't camp or tunnel all game only to have the only injured person bodyblocked to the exit gates then have all 4 survivors disrespect me, it just bloody annoys me.
I don't see why the devs REFUSE to slow down the gens. Sure, they're doing this whole "Endgame Collapse", but that's not going to fix the actual problems like unbalance and gen rushing.
At the end of the day, Killers aren't powerful anymore. It's that simple.

From experience, Hag is easier to pick up but Spirit is more rewarding.

Do you have a video to demonstrate how bad the framerate is? I'm on Xbox One X and it runs and feels great! I don't think frames are not capped to 30 anymore but actually it appears closer to 60 on my eye?Very responsive now. It also looks now a little bit better.
Example below, are you having something different?
Yes mine is wayyy worse than that on PS4.
-
I feel like just getting to rank one is easy. I feel like it should be more like “Play 25 games at rank one and keep the rank throughout”. That would be worthy of some sort of reward, rather than just reaching it.
-
I agree he would be a great killer. Plus, I can name a lot of killers that aren’t exactly “human”: Wraith, Nurse, Hag, Doctor, Freddy and Spirit. I’m sure there’s room for one more! Sam would be a great edition to the list. I have an idea for his power too:
When Sam is in “sneak mode” and in range of a survivor and is not in a chase, his terror radius will decrease to 0m and he can perform the “ambush”. This will cause Sam to rush at the survivor. If the attack hits the survivor, they will be applied with the “hunger” status effect. It will, however, be quite hard to hit (a lot harder than the pig’s lunge).
When a survivor escapes a chase, they are fitted with the “hunger” status effect. This status effect reduces all action speed by 40%. The survivor must search the map for hidden “candy bars” around the map. Similar to the Pig’s jigsaw boxes, only one will work. The rest will be fitted with razor blades, making the survivor scream when eating them and alerting Sam to their position. If a survivor fails a skill check while eating a candy, they will be applied with the ‘exposed’ status effect for 30 seconds and Sam will be alerted to their presence.
-
I know I’m used to Freddy and he was my main before Spirit, so this might be a bit biased but: he is definitely weaker than Freddy. He feels like he’s been nerfed since the PTB, that frenzy is so short it’s unreal.
-
Also, as someone who cannot play wraith at all, I don’t actually have bloodhound as a teachable. I believe many people may be the same.
-
In my opinion it’s not that high rank killers can’t figure out how to use it. It’s just because of how toxic survivors are at the higher ranks. When you are playing Legion it takes time to get used to. And bloody hell, countering a 360 while in frenzy is very hard when you’re playing a killer for the first time.
-
In my opinion, the deep wound timer should go down while you mend, but not kill you. It should instead only kill you if you then stop mending. So, if you stop mending for something and the deep wound timer has reached the bottom, you will automatically be put into dying. This will improve the idea of deep wound because it doesn’t make it so easy to escape. It is a killer’s power after all. If the legion began coming towards you while you were mending but if you stopped you would be put into dying state. It would be tense as it would be a race between you mending and the legion finding you. This game is supposed to be a horror game so the tension is the sort of thing we need. Killers aren’t scary anymore.
I also think that you shouldn’t be able to med halfway and the rest after. If you stop mending, the progress bar should be reset. This adds an extra challenge to deep wound and makes it a bit less pointless. Right now, survivors can just mend straight away after a chase and be perfectly fine.
I think both of these changed along with the ones mentioned in the original post here could turn this useless status effect into something that can actually be a threat to survivors.
-
Yes, I have been playing him and he is tough. Not much is different, if anything it feels like frenzy is shorter.
-
Yes, but if this were the case, I would prefer variations on old maps. You know, since Coldwind, MacMillan and Autohaven have like 6 map variations, while the rest have 1 (2 at best). I feel like this might be hard with licensed maps, but it would be great to add some new versions of the Asylum, Swamp (hopefully not as annoying), Yamaoka Estate, and of course the new Mountan one (sorry haven't learnt the name yet). This might be quite difficult with Memorial Institute though. But the rest I would love new maps on! I even have some ideas! You could do a ski slope map for the mountain, which would be great! Another idea is a temple on the Yamaoka estate. This is all I have for now but if I get some more I might even make a new thread listing them.

Now I get gen rushed as Legion. :c

Is it fair to get looped, gen rushed, tbagged?
Choose your poison, either you get mocked for not being able to kill or you kill and get insulted for camping.
Survivor ain't fair to killer, why should killer be fair to them?Yes, but I DO tunnel and camp the ones who deserve it. Some survivors just want to have fun in the game and they get found first by luck and end up having their game ruined. I don’t wanna be the one to do that.
-
@Wolf74 said:
So, how about: try camping?
If you get one kill max anyway, why not just the first?
The fun part will be, the other survivor will come to the rescue anyway, even if you are there.
It's called "bait".Yes but camping is something you shouldn’t do. It actually TAKES AWAY bloodpoints and it’s not fair on survivors. Like I said, I’m 50/50 for whether I play survivor or killer. So, I know how crappy it is for the survivor when they get camped at the very start of the match.
Also, at high ranks, they don’t come for the rescue. The survivors let them die on the hook and do all of the gens instead.
-
I would only camp if I was gen rushed (every bloody game) and I needed a kill at the end. Or unless a survivor brings it on themselves by constantly tea-bagging me, blinding me and stunning me.
If someone does it at the start of the game, they're a terrible killer who has never played survivor. I only really see this from low-rank killers that can't really play the game at all.
However, I can say the same thing about you gen rushing us. Most killers are just so angry from the last game they consider the camping and the tunnelling. Just because they know that the game will always be over in 5 minutes, no matter how much they protect gens.
-
I completely agree. I end most killer games just feeling frustrated. It's annoying, really annoying.
-
I have one.
You punish altruistic survivors for their bravery.
After someone is unhooked from the basement, the person who unhooked them will be applied with the hindered status effect for 10/20/30 seconds. "Monstrous Shrine" only activates when you are at least 18 metres away from a hook. -
Yes Freddy is kinda weak but I used to have a lot of fun playing him. I don't as much anymore as I have branched out a bit but Freddy was my first killer to prestige 1 so I have to say Freddy.
-
It always changes for me but right now I have been playing Trapper and yeah. I've had a lot of different mains.
