I don’t like players who dc from the game for dumb reasons but at the same time I strongly disagree with dc penalty for the following reasons: 1.There have been occasions while I played the game where I got randomly kicked out during gameplay and some screen tells me that some error occurred or something went wrong with my internet connection and I still get a penalty for dc’ing even tho I didn’t even dc to begin with. 2. I have noticed more survivors suicide on hook so they can basically still leave the game without having to dc. 3.Lagging out during the game or having some bug that keeps you from progressing in the game or doesn’t let you move around so you have no other choice but to dc. With all that being said I would agree with dc penalty if they had some kind of system that could determine whether people actually dc or lost connection due to internet problems but for the reasons listed above I cannot say I agree.

So basicly everyday you come to the forums, ask for killer x to be nerfed and when you run out of ideas you want to other people to suggest stuff?
Honestly do you have nothing to do in your life? It is so sad to seek human attention so desperately but whatever hf.
Really?! They asked a question and I gave a f***ing opinion!! Yeah I have no life WHATSOEVER just because I took a minute of my time to give my opinion on what I think needs to be nerfed! Smh! Gtfo please!! P.S. I don’t come on here often to demand nerfs on things, in fact you don’t even know what you’re talking about.

In your opinion which killer needs to be nerfed or reworked next? My vote is hillbilly but I also think a few others could be toned down. Thoughts?
Bubba and his chainsaw need to be nerfed

Like have 2 games going at the same time.so like say I Wiff vs my survivors and none die after going thou the gates it would connect thou a larger map with other objectives.(killers have to use a side door as they can’t pass the exit gate to give them some time)and say
Vortex as is my partner he kills 3 and one escapes map 1 that would make map 2 have 5 survivors trying to get out =p
Also give survivors double bp if say some of mine get into map 1 and finish the other teams gens and still escape.
Idk lolIt be more like both teams would be on just one huge map (I would hope anyways) that is 2 or 3 times the size of your average big map rather then having two separate maps. And if both killers were using Hex: Ruin, then there would be two totems that would have to be cleansed instead of just one totem and the same would go with any other Hex perks. And survivors and killers would both get double the blood points (always.) At least this is how I would hope it would work out if this became a actual mode and would hope it would also be available in regular game play and not just in KYF/SWF. I know it would be a lot for devs to actually work on making a mode where there is multiple killers but I think it would be possible.
-
Maybe they could increase the number of survivors as well up to around 8 instead of 4 to try to balance the game and could make maps twice as big. Of course this is just an idea. Nonetheless, it is fun discussing.Vortexas said:It would be, but the only way to trim a bit would be if killers didn't share HUD information.
Example of what I mean:
I am playing Doc. Full toxic Loadout: Distressing, Unnerving, Ruin, and Overcharge with Calm add ons.
My partner is playing Nurse.
Imagine if that nurse could see the insanity icons the doctor gives. There'd be no escaping no matter how many survivors are playing if the Nurse is any good.
Don't get me wrong as a Killer main I'd love to be able to team up with a partner, I just dunno how they'd tweak it without making killers even weaker to compensate.

Seriously I wish people could look at things from my perspective. I’m not saying I want to make the game harder, I just want to be able to look at the killer I am playing just like I can with survivor. I like third person view on survivor and would like if I had the option to play third person view on killer as well. I am glad that I can look at my survivors while I play and see cosmetics they’re wearing and wish I could do the same when playing killer.
-
I NEVER said that survivors and killers should swap views, I would hate first person view on survivors. I was saying that both should have a control that lets them switch between first and third person.SenzuDuck said:I mean, in the post originally you stated about them swapping views, and then you've totally edited your post and it makes mine look out of context but ok.

So what are u saying? That stealth is the only way players can survive in a game? Players can survive without even having to be stealthy. There are other games (such as Friday The 13th) where the killer has third person view and are still survivable.Terratoast said:I doubt that. There would be a significant amount of discussion about how 3rd person provides too much of an advantage over first person for the killer. You're dodging the point.
The game in its current state is killer is in first person and survivor is in third-person. I believe that to be the best combination for the best gameplay. Changing either (killer allowed third-person or survivor forced into first-person) ruins much of the stealth aspect of the game.
-
Tbh, if devs had just made the option for killers to switch between first and third person from the start before even releasing the game, people would still be playing the game and wouldn’t be making such a big deal about killers having third person view.Terratoast said:This would just split the player base into, "survivors that want a better chance" and "no one else". Similar to the requests for killer to have the option to not have any SWF survivors in their matches.
Realistically, how often do you think a survivor would opt into an option that does nothing for them other than make the game harder?
-
I wasn’t actually saying swap views, I was saying make it so that survivors and killer both have the option to switch between first person and third person view (to their liking.) My main focus however was on killers having the option to have third person view and why I think they should as I was talking about that in most of my post.SenzuDuck said:@Gamer2790 said:
SenzuDuck said:Game doesn't work in first person for survivors, heres a few reasons why.
* Killers always complain survivors don't juke enough and just "loop" them, the game becomes impossible for survivors to juke if they're staring into walls during their entire chase, it allows them to chose their path so they can stay aliveThe majority of survivor gameplay is spent at a generator or a hook. I'm sure loads of people would be playing this game is they have to stare into a generator for half the game, or stare straight ahead of them while on a while, much excitement
Killers like Myers, Wraith & Pig would be unbeatable using vision to predict their movement is the biggest reason you get away.
Killer abilities would become unavoidable, dodge a hatchet? Good luck. Dodge a blink? Good luck, dodge a chainsaw? Good luck.
The viewmode is there to make the game fair.
Lol!! I am talking about killers being able to have third person view! I don’t care about survivors being able to switch to first person view!! Playing survivor with first person view would be stupid, boring, and pointless!!! Having third person view as an option for killer would be nice tho!
I mean, in the post originally you stated about them swapping views, and then you've totally edited your post and it makes mine look out of context but ok.

That is why I am saying that there should be an alternate mode for players who don’t mind going against killers with third person view.Terratoast said:Third-person for killer would be a major buff and would force the developers to balance around it. Which would, in turn, force everyone to "choose" third-person over first person. A lot of the game's charm would be lost if the killer is able to view the world from a perspective other than their model. No more hiding near the killer but behind a wall. No more sneaking behind the killer. No more basing your movement off of the killer's sight direction.
This would pretty much kill any and all stealth gameplay

@Delfador It should be a feature for all killers tho.
-
@AlwaysInAGoodShape I actually don’t care so much about survivors having the option to switch between first/third person view as I like playing third person as survivor anyway. But when it comes to killers, I definitely think killers should have the option to switch to third person. And yes there is a need to make changes because it is stupid that killer is first person. I think survivor and killer should be both be third person personally. People worry that the game is gonna be too hard if killers have third person view but it will only make the game slightly harder. I still think the game would be viable with third person killers. In Friday the 13th, Jason has third person view and he is still a survivable killer despite that. If Friday the 13th is survivable with a third person killer then DBD should still be survivable as well!!
-
@JanTheMan No! They need to make third person available for killers in all modes or make an alternate mode.
-

@Master I said it would be nice if they made two modes, one where killers and survivors have the freedom to switch between first and third person and a regular mode where killers only have first person view. I think that would be fair. Also never say never because you don’t know what they are going to do with the game. With that said, I respect your opinion but I think anything can happen.

Are u sure we were playing the same game together? My PS4 name is BlairFiebs2790. If u weren’t playing in a round with someone has that name, then u have me mixed up with someone else. I was playing in the Shelter Woods level as Quentin. What level were u playing in and who were u playing as?redsopine1 said:Way I see it you going yo the basement crouching then suddenly not being attacked looks alot like teaming up on one guy add in hiding in a locker doesn't do anything to prove your point of him being move of that was the case he wouldn't have gone for me -
I have a question for you @redsopine1? Is your PS4 name TheUselessGamer by any chance or are you their friend? Just because I let the hillbilly down me doesn’t mean I was working with him. I was going to give up because I didn’t think I was going to survive against him, and then he chose to let me live out of the random so how am I doing something wrong?! Even if I had been farming, that is not a big deal. Also there is a difference between working with a killer and farming with a killer.redsopine1 said:Master said:@redsopine1 said:
