Then why is it when a exploit is discovered, the survivor or killer immediately uses it at full force? Also tell me if it isn't competitive, why are there so many cheaters?
I'd love to hear your counter-arguments. I'm expecting no answers.
What does exploiting has to do with competiveness? Right, nothing.

Why would they pick killers that actually need some skill over picking a braindead and annoying ghoul?

Survivors get a catch up mechanic when Killers are doing really well. Essentially killers get punished imo…but still its not a bad mechanic. However, if the killers are really struggling, what do they get? Nothing from what it seems.
Just gen rushed and your less than 5-minute match is over while you waited 20+ minutes to get into a match to begin with.
If survivors do get a gen slow down I barely notice is as survivor.
Nothing changed here to last iteration. So this mechanics works in both ways equally. So whats your problem? Do you want to wait even more than 20 minutes as killer cause no survivor wants to play this mode?

Fast Track is dead again, cause devs are out of touch with the game (and killer cries are their only used feedback).

- Remove her post-blink lunge.
- Reduce her blink range in chase.
- Limit her blink through walls.
- Gut basically all addons with blink range, blink addition and time between blinks.

Surviviors really want easy games sometimes.
Maybe ask yourself whats wrong here. If you dont find the answer, try again.

Congrats BHVR to make this happen.
I still cannot comprehend why esp. killers are so inclined that their games have to be won.

I've died countless of times since shack or god pallets are destroyed since bots drop them in chase. It is really annoying when u die since there are no important pallets on the map due to the fact that bots drop them in chase. If any devs are able to program the bots to not drop shack or god pallets that would be very nice. Thank you!
So you basically want bots to be worse than now. Great idea.

You cant be serious about this. Nothing makes any sense in terms of balance.

I doubt that there is any correlation on chat behaviour and anon mode.

Good job on confirming my statement.

bit of a specific topic, I'm only shouting into the wind because it directly affects me.
Eren Jeager was my dream survivor to add to dbd. Making him a skin for goofy Dwight was a bit of a tough pill to swallow, but I was just happy to have "my guy". I p100d Eren out of my love for him regardless.
With the upcoming 2v8 likely just releasing the netease version of the Attack Titan for Trapper, my battleship has been sunk I think. I'm not spending $$ to look like a badass only to get clowned on with one of the more lame killer powers in the game. Please, give it to literally anybody other than The Crapper, please.
I'm only giving my feedback because the last AoT literally made me go broke. thank you for visiting my random thread
Obviously someone who doesnt understand the power of Trapper.

I sublimate the issue by tunneling as Krasue, thank you. Something tells me by your private profile that you are enthralled by easy mode for survivors.
If gens are gonna be THAT fast then I'm gonna make up for it by being as sweaty as possible from the get-go and only let up if I feel like it.Like I said. Work on your gameplay. You dont even understand the basic math behind this mode. Nor do you take into account any bugged content. Youre screaming BIAS.

I'm a survivor main but this abandon option is too lenient, I remember when It was first brought in I thought it was a bug. Unlike other abandon options it comes up during normal gameplay too frequently. I see the abandon option for the 2 downs basically every play session in situations where there is no reason to be giving it to me.
I understand why its there, to prevent people from getting stood on by the killer and just go up and down until you bleed out but we should at least make the down requirement more so its not coming up during normal gameplay.
I remember arguing in a thread that people cant abuse it too go next which I still think is true if the killer does not slug the person intentionally trying to go next and instead picks them up but i'm more worried about how this just proxs during normal gameplay. (eg. defending pallet saves and flashlight saves only to have that person be picked up by their team and if you down them again they can abandon)Thats not how it works though.

Yes, walking around lugging a container to point A and B is B O R I N G.
What, you enjoy the fact they removed the status enhancement blood glob buffs they had in other iterations? The blood zones at least created a dynamic gameplay in chases, giving survivors and killers various buffs to create a tense back and forth. Instead we have Survivors getting boring and easy to pop gens, and killers get… to kick over jugs.
This game mode used to have ACTUAL unique elements. Instead it's a walking simulator that is usually over in 5 minutes if the survivors aren't braindead morons.
So, yeah. It's BORING.Maybe you should work on your killer gameplay if thats what you think about this mode.
-
Prime example of how much bhvr cares for feedback on survivor side: they went completely silent about the spawn issue and the issue of not being able to get much objective at all, cause blood gens do not count in. They had 3 weeks. Nothing happened at all. No fix, no compensation, not even a sorry. Completely out of touch with their own game.
-
A thats why ghoul can basically bodyblock the vault atm?

I havent played killer for years, but i was doing ok when i did.
I decided to try again tonight, and there are just pallets everywhere, so survivors just ran from pallet to pallet to pallet.
i did not tunnel, but if i wanted to kill people off, i might have needed to tunnel.
If you wouldnt have played killers for years, you would have gotten survivors that hardly even know how to loop whatever many pallets there are. Your story doesnt really work. Nobody needs tunneling at all. Killers just love to make this a self-fullfilling prophecy for them.
-
Cause in High-MMR people understand how to play characters properly.

Not sure what they would have to put as reward to get people play ranked willingly. That would be such a sweat fest.
Anyone who would want fairer games would actually play ranked atm.

None killer should be S-Tier.
-
No.
-
Cause its one of the better killer maps?
-
Cause the devs dont have any idea on how to balance anything.
-
I still wait for the day a ghoul player actually needs some kind of skill to play the character.

How about you actually read the feedback and not just the things you assume to be true?

sorry thats a lie it hasnt fallen off and used less it has risen up as a must have perk especially with good survivors as they know how powerful permenant progression is and how easy it is to get it with fast track.
So im glad to see its on the list for nerfing which it deserves and i hope we can have a bigger discussion on permenant progression as i strongly believe it needs to be changed as there is no counter for this and that is not fundamelty fair
Below are the stats for Fast track and the usage rate plus escape rates from Night Light yes this doesnt give us the full scope as it only takes info from steam but this can give us a clearer idea on how the perk is performing i also have attached a link to the stats if anyone want to take more of a look at its stats
https://nightlight.gg/perks/Fast_Track
Using nightlight as evidence is the first and almost worst failure you did here. This has never been an accurate site since the beginning, cause it heavily overestimates perks. A site thats only fueled by certain people has no value as evidence for anything.
If theyre already going to nerf Fast Track it just proves again that they only listen to the loudest minority and are neglecting any meaningful feedback given by survivor players. History always repeats itself, escpecially with devs being so out of touch with their own game as these devs.

I wasn’t giving my opinion on the Nurse add-on nerf or the Blight nerf. I was simply responding to someone claiming that ‘the developers want to favor killers,’ pointing out that no, that’s not the case—nothing more 😊
Its always been the case. Its an undeniable fact.

All a regression meta does is rewarding the killer for playing well and extending the game to give the killer more time to win, while leaving chases healthy, unlike something like an anti loop meta, which would be awful
With top tier killers basically being speed or teleport killers, any kind of regression meta just makes the game more frustrating than anything else.
-
Regression meta could never be the healthiest, cause its the worst that has happened in all those times.

They want to favor killers so much that that’s probably why they just announced nerfs for Blight and Nurse. Yeah. Totally.
Maybe at low MMR killers are winning, but at decent/high MMR—good luck playing killer 😨
I guess you play a different game than anyone else. Blight and Nurse havent been touched for eternity. Nurse nerfs wont change anything, Blight nerfs need yet to be confirmed meaningful enough.
-
Thats makes even less sense. Youre mostlikely to know much faster if its a stealth killer or not. It literally wont change much at all.
-
Itrs isnt much better than the builts before the buff to be fair. Thats why Fast track wont be changed. Its not that much of an issue at all.
-
Bhvr doesnt want this. Thats confirmed.

can those who call kaneki a ""cash grab"" then explain why the tokyo ghoul license holders refuse to add any more content of it from the game.
You probably didnt understand why its a cashgrab. Not because of the licence, its because the character is overtuned. It could be Mickey Mouse, just doesnt matter at all as long as it still making money for them.

intentionally 12 hook, never chase people off unhook, play a b tier, never slug even when theyre camping with flashlights
they still teabag and stand at gate and flashlight click anyway?
why should i even bother following their made up rules if theyre just going to act like toxic babies anyway? surv players are terrible losers and even worse winners
So, why does it even bother you if survivors teabag at the exist gate? Its totally uninteresting, either force them out or just meme with them. Also if you 12 hook, theyre dead and cant teabag at the exit at all. I never had such an issue while playing D-Tier killers. And if they teabagged ingame they mostlikely get killed in the end, cause non of those can back up their bvhr with actual gameplay.

not denying that the players feel there's issues with a character at all - Dissolution aside, which could very well be a perk issue and not a killer specific issue, hard to tell without looking at that closer, there's definitely some things which I think could be looked at more with Ghoul, but it's not something we're moving on right now. (I'm not saying never here, just explaining why it's not being done now).
I guess the cash grab must survive no matter what the playerbase explains. Cannot explain this otherwise. Devs are completely out of touch.
-
So why are you guys not able to fix the spawns of the stations? As surviors this is really frustrating seeing them beeing clutched together on one side of the map. Survivors are basically scammed the whole event being seriously hindered in doing their objective. Also survivor cant get much points in objective if they are doing the event gens, which is another massive loss on bloodpoints. Where is the compensation for all this mess you throw out without testing it properly again?
-
@AbsolutGrndZer0 said:
Well, I have been against survivors knowing other survivors perks before end game for years, and my title is why. Will it happen every game? Probably not. But, its going to happen. If you bring a perk that someone doesn't like, some players are going to be petty and either actively sandbag you or just not bother to rescue you when you're hooked.
Urban Evasion, Low Profile, Distortion, and Left Behind are likely the worst offenders. You bring any of these "selfish" perks, your odds of being sandbagged or left to die on first hook is going to rise exponentially. This was never an issue on mobile, and youve seen them even in before. So you have no valid arguments here besides doomposting.
-
Knowing the killer will be not much of a advantage, cause half of the roster is already known taking a look at the HUD or your surroundings. Other you basically hear oance the game starts. And everything else is stealth, which doesnt really matter much if you exactly know who it is, you already like there could be a stealth killer when the game starts, thats basic knowledge. Dont really see much of an issue there.
Second, seeing the perks of your mates is long overdue. Mobile had since and nobody complained about it, neither was there much of an DC or dodging issue. And to be honest, it would be quite good if people would learn what several perks do. Ive lately seen by far too many people running up to someone Plotwisting in a corner or people running away after an unhook while you have resurgence.
-
They must really hate our Poster Boy.
-
The underlying idea to prevent oppresive stacking of perks is totaly fine. The implementation thats mentioned just means several perks will be even less played than before. Also, it doesnt preven regression stacking at all, cause the implementation only refers to mechanical stacking. You can still run Pain, Pop, Eruption, Turn back the clock to halt games. Its funny how everything they implement is basically not or just unbelievable less refering to killer.

There is a abandon option for if all survivors are slugged, or down so everyone can dc, why not do the same for killers with all generators pop?
Cause its not the same situation.

@Mandy said:
Ghoul is not in a position right now where he's overperforming - we've also made adjustments and bug fixes to a few things, we don't feel he's in the position where a hard nerf is warranted at this time, the revault is now even easier to do, so it should make more counterplay against the Ghoul.
Nah, never mind the feedback given through the last year. Ghoul is totally fine.
THATS exactly why noboody has anymore hope in the devs.
-
A gen grab can only ne a gen grab as long as the survivor is touching the gen. Youre idea is just an unreasonable rant, that its not super comfortable for killers.

Every single event someone complains about killers doing the objective and killing. This is DBD. No killer is obligated to stop killing and no survivor is obligated to stop doing gens. This isn't a problem This is doing the objective
And every time someone doesnt understand that there are actually people who want to have fun in a game.
-
Basically nobody thinks its a broken perk.
And to your last sentence: thats already happening, so couldnt be worse.

Not even 2k. Not balanced I guess.
