Well, Michael and Laurie were added to DBD years before the current timeline was ever a thing. Plus, they only have the rights to the first movie and none of the sequels, so you can just choose which timeline you want to believe it's a part of haha

Who knows, this June another Chucky movie is coming out and we are gonna get another chapter in June. One can only dream.
That would be terrible if we got one for the new movie though, I really don't want remake Chucky in the game, I want original Brad Dourif Chucky. If it happens, I'd rather the devs wait for the TV show continuing the original series and skip the reboot.

@Daltonio It's probably not a good idea to have minors dying in your game, but then again, a lot of other games have children that die. 🤔

If they did, they'd have to age her up. The devs already decided to start claiming that Laurie and Quentin are 21 when they're clearly not based on when the Entity took them, so for whatever reason I don't think they want minors in the game.

Watch your mouth sir, Rob Zombie is king. And even if you don’t like the movies, his mask in them is much better than the god awful one in Halloween 5.

I voted for buy it with real money. I’m a PS4 player so I haven’t been able to play them at all, but the new killer and survivor both look great and a lot of fun. I’ve bought all the available DLC’s as soon as they were available to this point and will continue to do so (not sure about the overpriced cosmetics though).

I play all of them a decent amount, but I’ve gotta go with Michael. After all, he’s the reason I found out about this game and bought it in the first place!

They don’t even have the rights to Halloween 2 though from what I know, otherwise we may have gotten Hospital Laurie and Bloody Tears Michael. Also, this movie is actually acting like Halloween 2 never happened as well so they can remove the whole angle of Michael and Laurie being siblings. It’s only a sequel to the original.
