Imagine if all survivors played opimally.... the game would be dead so fast

Yesterday, I played a match as surv (with random teammates). I did not touch a single gen, I didn't do any unhooks, I didn't heal anyone. Hey, I opened one exit gate. I pipped.

I once role played as Dwight. I did absolutely nothing, only went from one locker to another one, getting rid of crows.
And yet I blackpipped... thE emblem system is such a jokeThat happened to me a few minutes ago: I didn't did any gen, not unhooking anyone, just running around a Spirit for like 5 minutes using Iron Will, she got pretty confused and pissed because she couldn't catched me. Then she tunneled me, I got saved and I hid in a locker while the other ones where killed. I found hatch and I pipped... Ranking system dude LUL

I get the OP's frustration. But keep in mind that it is mainly the fault of the bad ranking system.A survivor can be a very bad player yet at the same time they can easily make it to rank 1.
Pips are gained way too easy. You don't have to do much in order to get a pip.And since the survivors have reached rank 1, most of them think they must be good. They don't see how much more they need to improve.
And then, these inexperienced "rank 1" players get matched with real high rank survivors and killers. As a result, we have frustrated good survivors like the OP and frustrated inexperienced survivors who claim that killers are overpowered.
Yep, they think ranking up is being good but they can't do a flashlight save, a pallet save, run a killer longer than 5 s, doing gens... I mean, they need to learn a lot and yeah, I got frustrated because of that.

So recently I've noticed a HUGE increase in the amount of toxic killers. They taunt the survivor letting them crawl towards the hatch then oick them up at the last second.Or they walk towards the hatch with them then they switch to a hook at the last second.
It's amazing how petty some people can be. How they need to gloat when they get the win. This is on the same level as survivors tbagging at the gate.
Both sides really are just as bad. I dont think killers have the right to play victim anymore.
Anyone else noticed a huge increase in killer toxicity? Just nodding at people on the hook or hitting them etc?
Yes, and also I don't know if It's just me but I have a lot of killers DC'ing when they got gen rushed, dodging lobbies with SWF's, tunneling people and me for no reason no matter if they see other survivors or bitching in post game chat or accusing me for going "SWF" when I play solo. I think it's a thing of rank reset days.

How does one play this guy? I keep being told I'll fail if i tunnel people with my frenzy, but how else do i get actual downs? The best Legion Strat is not playing Legion. It's a boring and annoying killer who doesn't require skill at all, just makes matches incredibly longer with his Feral Frenzy power forcing you to mending yourself, go to other one and over and over. You have to tunnel ppl to got at least 1 Kill. Several Legions that I go against always end up Dc'ing the match 'cause of that. And also you can't juke him at all 'cause he can vault pallets and windows like a survivor. That killer needs an urgent rework.

Welcome to the life of a solo survivor. [BAD WORD] it next time I'm disconnecting.
Its not just bad players. There are too many trolls. Had one earlier with no mither who tries to get the killers attention to derank
I arrived to the point that i doubting playing survivor again. I'm really tired of boosted morons just hanging around and doing nothing but stupid #########.

Yes they derank to 15 to bully baby killers like it's hard to loop someone like that and make their life miserable. Running around a pallet 20 minutes and juking inexperienced killers is very immature. I done it a few times because I wanted to rank up my friends account. Never again.
They can't loop that much at red ranks that's why they derank not because they are good but they suck at chases.
Sure... I saw that streamers too in red ones. They bully killers too in that ranks, making them dc or running them too much to the point they facecamps them so... No point to say more. Also I've been facecamped for that reason too and for "thinking that i'm very good, stunning them"
And that is fun for you, making killers dc?
"the fun in this game is being chased, seing the killer behing you and start running, see if you can't stand enough to the other ones do gens and escape, getting saved by adrenaline if you got hitted, making killers fail a hit juking... That's the fun imo in DBD as surv"

I mostly see the DS players being the worst, they rely too much on it to save their ass. I use urban but I always try to help out my team as much as possible. I'll try to rescue heal them and repair gens all while staying hidden from the killer. And when I get in the chase, I can hold my own for a while, I'm still no pro but I can still run a killer around for a bitDS users usually when i go killer are the easiest to get caught. I let them to use DS then i caught them 1 s after that. At least you try, my teammates with urban usually don't do much; just farming and wasting pallets, crouching behind a rock or exploting gens.

Most of the time you see good players at low ranks is because they derank to bully unexperienced killers. If they wouldn't derank, they would be obviously in red ranks
I know but, like I said that's another story. Personally I don't enjoy being a red rank survivor (I dc'ed some matches, i don't wanna rank up so quickly this time). As killer it's fun because you found the worst survivors there (with some exceptions: some SWF's)
Yeah I see where you coming from, red ranks can be exhausting
I admit that some days I just dc'ed all matches and stop playing for 2 or 3 days as survivor last season. It's exhausting yep, doesn't worth it being in that place

But how are you going to learn how to loop a killer and waste his time if you never train that? See, I have no issue if survivors don't want to be detected, but the issue I have is that most of the time those survivors are going down within 20 seconds which gives the killer such a huge momentum.
You can't be a ghost the whole match, in some situations u HAVE to bait the killer chasing you because everyone is one hook away to die but you are not, or to tank a hit for mate etc.
Nothing personal tho, Idk how good you are. But my experience is that urban survivors are usually going down to quick once they got spotted by the killerExactly, they don't have that experience and skill in chases. Wow lots of assumptions. Doesn't surprise me tho. You think you know all players without even knowing them. And you are the one taunting not me. You started with assuming I'm not that good since I use certain perks so I had to defend myself. And now you just continue with it.

It all comes down to a really bad designed ranking system which is allowing absolutly trash survivors to rank up. Either solo by the wheelchair called blackpip (safety pip) or just getting boosted with the wheelchair called swf. As long as the devs don't figure out how to fix that the solo experience will remain a painful and frustrating experience, nothing we can really change tbhTrue, they need to do something with the ranking system. It's incredibly annoying having such kind of ppl in my teams, thinking they're good for hitting DS or just stunning with a pallet. I'm play solo and sometimes I just go killer (And I go against that kind of survivors) and I have so much fun killing them than when I go solo as survivor.

Not using a perk doesn't make you a bad player. Neither does healing others. Injured state leaves blood and you make more noise, plus get downed in one hit. Maybe against NOED don't bother yet, but...Well in my experience the urban immersion players are the most useless and "too-afraid-to-do-something" players. And the ones with self care, when they always get hit, they run to the corner of the map and heal themselves, and if the killer hits them again they do the same thing over and over and they don't do gens and don't save people. Also they wastes pallets. If you don't wanna make noise while injured, you can use Iron Will

@Eveline said:
Or those bodyblocking hook when killer got you near one. They think everyone is using decisive and what do they accomplish? They just provoke the killer to camp and get hit so they can self care forever at the edge of map. That happened to me a lot of times too. You guys cry about everything, blaming the game and devs instead improve your killer skills and then justifies tunneling for stupid excuses. Go and play CIV then like Matthew said if you can't stand go against good survivors but stop ruining the matches with your crappie strategies.
Why dont you improve your killer skills?
Killer it's boring sometimes imo, i got more fun playing survivor but when i go killer I play Spirit and got 3-4 K's without tunneling and playing like a moron. But like i said killer it's boring sometimes

Like I said in other post, it's for the event dude. Killer mains become somewhat idiots in these days and becomes more tunnelers and stupid af. It's so boring to play with these kind of dudes but you can't do anything that juking better and go to other matchEvents don't make killers stupid and sweaty. You should try gaining coin progress as the killer, I guarantee you wont try more than once because its near impossible to get more that 15-17 points per game at rank 1 as everyone is usually very efficient making games too quick and much more difficult for killer to gain event progression. A stealthy survivor can easily gain 45 points per game. Less so if the survivor is a moron.

As I said, if you dont identify with the victim role, then maybe try playing killer? How I miss LOL... Killers a victim? Hahahahaha being a killer it's so easy now, you guys cry about everything

It's for the event dude. Events makes killers incredibly stupid and sweaty af. (like if they were paid for it, it's ridiculous) And all are running Franklin's (pathetic). I have my keys in case of emergency and i lost some 'cause of that idiot perk. Also teammates are so dumb too, nobody's does gens.

I just want this time a strong killer and no an annoying one with a dumb power of stabbing ppl and run like a moron. They really have to do a good killer this time, Chapter X was so bad and disappointing imo
-
First game, a Doc on Yamaoka. Tunneled me to death, i ran him for 3 gens

Because you get no points for this event by playing killer, no one wants to play killerAnd killers that i went against last 2 matches were extra sweaty and tunnelers, boring af

That's how BHVR logic works:
1 - Schedule a event.
2 - Make survivor easier to get rewards.
3 - Wait ... we need 1 killer for every 4 survivors !
4 - Ok let's do it more atractive to killers then ...
5 - Nevermind it's launch time and we need to read and laugh at "queue times threads" on forums.Devs really surprise me sometimes. It seems they don't really take his own game in serious. I mean, I got really disappointed with Legion and now this and all the bugs in game? FeelsBadMan

It is just me or finding a match is taking so much time since the event started? And how can i fix that?
You can fix that by playing killer. You´ll get instant lobbies.
I would do but it's not fun as survivor. When i go killer i always got so sweaty SWF groups and I have to go sweaty too with my Spirit (I play her a lot as killer) and playing that way it's so boring. I got 4K but it's stressful sometimes
I think you answered the reason why survivors have long queues yourself.
I haven't played killer since the event started. I was talking about before, I just don't want to play killer now

For survivor it's just easier to grind for coins so most players are just playing that resulting in less killersHere we go again... "For survivors it's easy, event it's so surv sided" like the Halloween Event. Jeez
