Killswitch Jason for the event
Look, I'm not going to get into the discussion of whether or not Jason is horrifically overpowered in this discussion. But I am looking forward to the new event and I don't want it ruined by constantly going up against Jason who is horrifically boring to play against. Can we please just not have him in the event so it can be fun for everyone? The Jason players can bully people in regular games and everyone else can have fun playing against cool and interesting killers.

there is no mode, perk or killer that makes everyone happy.
they are not going to block what a bunch of people purchased and do enjoy playing as and against from the event because you personally dont find him fun.

Yeah… just saddened by the fact we'll have to deal with Jason in his current state for another like two weeks which will be long enough for the event to be almost over. And then they'll just nerf him so he's fair but it'll still ruin the event.
Ive seen many killers start to slowly go back to their mains as of late, I am assuming this will be amplified during the anniversary since people will want cakes for their mains.
The solution is to not play it. Let the endless Jasons wait in their endless queue.
As tempting as it is to DC against Jason I'm not 100% sold that's the right move.
No, I mean don't play the event as survivor. I'll play it as killer to get the unlocks and then I'm peacing out. Events are always sweaty and this one is on track to be hellish with how this game feels right now.
I would say very much don't DC against Jason. Matches with DCs are tossed out of the stats they give us so they may well also be removed from some of their internal calculations too. Those endless 4ks need to be properly calculated if anything is to change.
Even though I think he's a bit too strong, Jason is still one of the more enjoyable recent Killers to go against for me. But yeah, I am not looking forward to an infinite number of Jasons making the anniversary event feel like we're playing the latest Friday the 13th game.
But then again, I'll also want to BE one of those infinite Jasons from time to time because he's really fun to play. It is what it is, I guess…

Find a game breaking bug after hotfix, otherwise that aint gonna happen

I'll ask BHVR if they can put a disclaimer when we boot up the game.

And we all know that 'boring' typically reads as 'can't win against him so I don't like him'.
Your probably gonna suffer the most since it's a very survivor sided event
The event sounds like its going to be god awful for killers anyway so i think queues will be quick when people realise survivor is probably the event queue power role with those absurd sounding benefits. On paper i don't see why i'd play killer in the event ever. Will probably just play normal 1v4.
Yeah kill switch the new Killer. That wouldn't definitely end well.
They cant just kill switch the something new unless there breaking the game as in them having game breaking bugs that hurts the flow of the game. Not just because players hate going against them.
While I can't think of anyone who truly enjoys playing against the recent trend of killers that all play themselves and get insane value for doing practically nothing, I can't see them preventing Jason from participating in the event. Overall, it just comes down to the Dead by Daylight team's incompetence in their priorities, set on creating overpowered slop to sell it before making it more tolerable months to a year down the line.
I will be playing Knight, Twins and Hag so survivors won't need to face so many Jasons during the anniversary event 🙏 LOL
BUt honestly, no reason to killswitch him. He is working as intended and don't have any game breaking bug right now
Depends on how easy it is to poison the food or how hard it is to assemble the banquet. It's unlikely to be survivor sided against all the Jasons since everyone will be crouching around. They'll barely be able to to do gens so much as a side objective.
