is it me or spirit needs some significant buffs?
ive been playing spirit for a while now and i got her to prestige 26 but out of 10 matches i played i won maybe like 3 or 4 matches, i feel like dbd needs a buff to her power duration and maybe a small buff to her speed during phasing, making some of her addons basekit would be nice Especially the green addon that is “kaiun Talisman” which increases her phasing duration by 25%

We need to be buffing bad killers like Ghostface and Trapper, not buffing A tier killers.
Spirit is literally in the top 5 strongest killer if you cannot get value out of her that falls on you. I would recommend watching a content creator called Remylea as she is currently the best spirit player and has a bunch of video guides, along with a 350 page guide.

I'm pretty sure he has another one related to Clown iirc. I think Carjam has a 150-200 page Springtrap Guide. Top 5?? I dont think she beats nurse,blight,kaneki,billy,dracula,larry,twins maybe then its spirit but deffinitely not top 5 more like in top 10.
I will, im interested in the spirit one, seeing as id like to start playing her more. as an avid reader im sure ill be packed with knowledge and then play a game of spirit and not apply a single thing i learned in my match and lose horribly :)
i think if you gave a good argument spirit could beat out twins, the others im not too sure
Deffinitely no twins are even harder to beat for top tier survivors especialy after COH meta is gone. Now elusive is on outbreak which is effect that effects spirit a lot too and twins global preasure on map plus victors strenght in chase combined with how many people dont run antislug which is strategy where twins exceed in makes them superior to current spirit.
Twins are by some top tier players considered even stronger than larry and they are considered top 5, other killers I named can beat spirit in their strengts and potencial.
Many people underestimate twins power but being not so popular and fun for majority doesnt mean twins are bad, them being rare gives them advantage because survivors arent used to face them and lack experience to counter them effectively. Twins might feel cluncky but they are in top 5 best killers guarantee which spirit is no longer she is more in like top 10 killers after her all nerfs. She lost her op addons which are now not what they used too, her power was nerfed a lot through time and she depends on sounds which are year by year worse and buged all the times plus less grass effected her too. Released version of spirit was deffinitely in top strongest killers in DBD history but current version is way more limited.
The nerfs to selfcare meta, super fast and lasting medkits and most importantly COH took away insane individual healing speed from survivors which boosted twins as many other killers.
My personal top 5 is Nurse Blight Billy Dracula Twins these are all pretty interchangeable though because as long as you're insane at any of the killers in top 10 they can end up being near or even better than top 5 killers. Imo the rest of top 10 for me is Spirit Larry Kaneki Vecna 2.0 and Krasue. I mainly am putting Spirit above Larry due to the fact that his counterplay is significantly easier than spirit which has little to no actual counterplay, same reasoning for her being above Kaneki as good spirits are pretty much guaranteed an injury per power use while Kaneki also has a lot more counterplay after recent changes.
Spirit above larry like truth her counterplay is harder and being injured against good spirit is just matter of time before you go down due to her lethality but on average larry is beast and has better macro and areal control with slugging potencial probably best killer gor deffending area and certain points. Sporit lethality is high especialy against injured survivors and her 1v1 is very good.
Been maining Spirit since 2020. I really feel like it's less she needs buffs and more that sound hasn't been great for a long while, at least since the engine update from Unreal 4 to 5. It feels like there's always some audio issue going on from patch to patch, and the FOV slider messes with it further. (How long has that been in beta…?) We were also supposed get audio normalization for survivors and that never happened, so some survivors are super easy to chase and others not so much.
If they do manage to update the audio as they said they would during the anniversary stream, it'll definitely be a buff for her.
Spirit is pretty universally regarded as a high-tier killer. She takes some skill and experience to master. I struggle with her against good survivors who know how to counter her, but I am a casual player and am fully aware that I would need to put in a lot more time and practice to get really good with her. I don’t have the time to do that, so I’m ok with mostly playing other killers with easier powers to master. In summary, she doesn’t need nerfs.
maybe not significant but she definitely does need some. But it’s almost guaranteed she won’t get any buffs which is disheartening.
