What perks does the other team bring that actually helps you?

What perks are actually helpful to your opponent but also helpful to you?

Please try to be more creative than a perk that is pretty much throwing the game like No Mither.

Survivor: Whenever a killer brings corrupt intervention, it prevents me and my team from 3-genning ourselves.

Killer: I run Haunted Grounds on a lot of my builds, so when a survivor brings Small Game or Counterforce, its incredibly beneficial to me.

  • A killer running mindbreaker allows you to 99 sprint burst easier

Potential energy- half the time they get hit afterwards. Just free gen slowdown.

Monster shrine- you sprint away from the hook hoping the Survivor magically go to Second Stage. Leaving a free save wide open unhook. You know what would be better than running a perk that rarely get u a second stage? just proxy camping

  • As someone who mained Old Freddy, I loved to go against Old Object of Obsession users. Made my job much easier.

  • Dramaturgy can give you a free exposed.

Which is why I have stopped using it. It has hurt more than it has helped. Don't know why people say Nic Cage's perks were good when they can all be self-destructive. Dramaturgy can expose you, Scene Partner can reveal you're near the killer, and Plot Twist can give the killer a free hook if they're smart enough to find you.

I use it with Vigil outside of chase. The amount of busted Toolboxes I've gotten is ridiculous.. but I love it.

Bnp boxes for free are nice

True, Dramaturgy popping a Commodious Toolbox with a Brand New Part into your hand is great. But for every time that's happened to me, I've been downed from the Exposed effect maybe half a dozen times. Nic Cage's perks are fun and silly but the fun wears off when they backfire so badly.

  • Perhaps NOED? Although it can be problematic in the endgame, for most of the Trial a Killer is working with one Perk down. Even when the final gen is done there's no guarantee they'll get use from it.

Same could also be said with Adrenaline. Again, the Survivor is a Perk down for most of the game, with no guarantee they'll ever get any use from it.

I usually picked up and as soon as the last gen pop I drop for the free hit. 10/10 it is an adrenaline user and they get no health state or speed boost.

  • Self care.

    ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

  • Breakout/Sabotage, whenever I pick up on the fact they're running them I get relieved knowing the team is going to follow me around instead of actually doing gens.

Similarly backpack builds from killers stuff like starstruck/awakened awareness/agitation because it's not gen regression and they're easy to spot and play around.

  • Dying light. It buffs healing speed of the obsession a lot.

I dont use it when I know the Killer is near. Knowing when a Killer is far away pretty much negates all the Perk's downsides.

  • Merciless Storm makes me feel like repairing gens is slightly challenging

50% of the perk is designed to be used in chase.

  • unnerving presence whenever not affected by coulro or merciless. i hit more greats with it for some reason.

deadlock assuming survivors move and do another gens, making them spread gen pressure they otherwise wouldn't.

bamboozle if the killer has a bam brain, makes their plays way too predictable

some killer info perks if you can figure them out so you mostly know what they'll do next and play around it, you can even manipulate their decision making with the info you'll be giving against a killer with discordance and tinkerer and possibly others.

more obvious answers would be sole survivor (playing in accordance with it) and self care without botany.

  • Just my personal preference of using the Perk. Outside of chase, as I typically don't use Exhaustion Perks which give distance, I don't use Dramaturgy for that either.

  • Almost any hex perk, they get value when its up, survivors get value when its cleansed and the killer has less perks

  • Huntress' Lullaby with 3 stacks makes me incredible at hitting greats for some reason.

And Doc with Merciless Storm somehow just does not work on me, but when any other killer with it does.

  • No mither as Oni 🥰 (Litterally is god tier)

Boon COH - Blood warehouse for Oni

Iron Maiden - I run flashbangs so I get to be an irritating sod
