I haven't been around for a while, and what I find....
Is a lot of Y'all are just whining and such over nothing! 3 pages I went through with this needs doing, that needs doing. Heck some of you argue more then my kids do! lets start spreading a lil more good vibes this year then banging on about stuff.

I try to make topics from time to time asking about event/tome progress, costumes, etc...
People seem to respond well to such topics, there just aren't a lot of them @_@

People like to post in the argumentative threads rather than the fun or happy threads. A fun and happy thread will usually get MAYBE a dozen replies before dying a undignified death and falling off the face of the forums where the 6,346,125 thread about how Eruption is bad will be there for days.
Last edit...probably. Hell, I've talked about this before when Code Threads came up. I started posting pictures of my cat in the Code Threads specifically because they would be posted, get maybe one or two posts, then die immediately. While Holly doesn't always keep the conversation going, I specifically wait until the thread is towards the bottom of the forum to give it at least another hour or so on the front page before the code thread dies...
Discussing problems with the game and how to improve/fix the issues is really the only type of topic that is interesting to me. I really have no interest in starting or reading threads that just say something like “I’m having a great time today!”

yeah but after the 1000th or so post in a week of this and that needs fixing, it kind of gets boring and old of seeing and looking at the topic that 1000 of other people of posted so I would rather see a post of someone having a great time today. :)
I mean, isn't that the purpose of the off-topic section? I'm genuinely not trying to be snarky here, but it seems like you should probably go hang out there if you want to see off-topic posts?
I see many well-written, well-thought out posts which get attacked after the first couple of posts then the thread turns into an argument. It's such a shame, it puts me off posting. It didn't use to be like this. Even back when everyone wanted Hillbilly and Old old Ruin nerfed. The game is in such a good place now too.

Just a passionate community. BHVR honestly been doing pretty good, not joking. But they're damn slow. There's lots of dead content that probably won't be touched for years.
The perk rework patch was a great shakeup, it opened up the survivor meta a lot, and revitalized tons of dead perks. Why not have more of that? There's still tons of useless survivor and killer perks with old, outdated downsides.
Also I'd like more regular updates to perks, just small tweaks to shake up the meta when it's clear that something is too strong. No need to wait for over a month to tweak right?

Yeah, the QQ gets under my skin a bit sometimes, but...generally gaming forums are used for feedback, and people with no complaints are generally too busy playing the game to bother posting on forums.
I want more good vibes too but when you do try to post such topics they either get ignored or some person comes with 4 paragraphs about why you shouldn't be enjoying the thing that you are. So it's best to just not post them. It's sad but that's just how the internet is i suppose.
