I don't know, but @Peanits , a Dev/Community Manager, recommended this for people who lost a Trapper mask.
So it might work for you with this cosmetic too.
Just checked and im also missing the silver mask for trapper too, @Peanits what is happening, why is everyone loosing the event cosmetics players earned?
This sounds like a lost progress bug that can sometimes happen depending on the situation and how the players game was properly saved. (It's entirely unknown to me personally how it actually occurs but this definitely sounds like a lost progress bug)
Your best course of action is to take this link to the support team and file it under "Lost Progress" and after that you should give them any videos or screenshots you had with those skins to help strengthen the case that you indeed owned these skins. (Since you also lost the silver Trapper mask which everyone gets when they log in, they'll most likely know something is up)

It's not like legacy where it needs to be proven without a shadow of a doubt due to the "clout" behind those skins or something... But you should provide proof so they can have a better idea of what to do in your support ticket. Anything honestly helps, and they should be able to help you out in some way.
Just did 2 hours ago but why is this happening to alot of players recently?
Your support ticket will be answered but it takes time since it works like a line. You're not first in line currently and the support team is working on another issues with other tickets.
Just be patient, and you'll be able to get your issue sorted out. And I mentioned the Ornate Mask because that's a mask that everyone gets when they first log into DBD, they'll know somethings off because that mask is missing.

I just hope this gets fixed asap since rift is about to be introduced and just imagine loosing all your premium progress because of this.
I too also lost The Trappers Ornate Mask now that I check his cosmetics at the moment, and it seems a lot of other people are also having this issue. While I don't think this is something that's happening to everyone, It seems to be happening to a fair bit of people.
I also don't think this is linked to your exclusive cosmetics being removed from your inventory, but it's not entirely impossible either... So the best you can do is wait for your support ticket to be answered when they're not overwhelmed like @MandyTalk said, and see what happens if your other issue besides the Ornate Mask.
Check your billy propane and Kate summer event items also they seem to be missing along with the trapper mask and lunar event items for David and huntress wolf mask

I did submit a ticket but i doubt that will help at all.
On PC?
If so, verify your game files.
They gonna reply trust me i lose my cosmetics as well and they got it back to me
What does the files have to do with the cosmetics i lost?
I submitted it as loss of progress, will that count? i also did send a screenshot of my huntress wearing it in a end-game chat.

Update : Got messaged back saying they will investigate the issue, hope its fast.
Submit a ticket or email the devs about it. A Streamer lost his Howling Grounds mask for Huntress before and got it back
What would you do if you were on console.
Uhh no clue, haven't personally seen any topics about console people losing them.
Maybe there's others who know, let me try to get them here.
@NMCKE @FireHazard @Elk @Masantonio @Gcarrara @MandyTalk @GrootDude
i already submitted a ticket and besides the howling grounds mask and donkey jacket, i also lost the ornate mask for trapper.

Here's that support link: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us
I don’t own the Howling Grounds cosmetics
@Rinthespooki you will need to contact Support who can help you, we can't help you here on the forums I'm afraid.
https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us - if you open a ticket using that link, someone will be able to assist you.
Did send a ticket with a screenshot 2 hours ago.
But what about the ornate mask because i did have that.

It's a pretty rare bug, but i'm sure they'll be able to sort your issue out when they get to the ticket.
Best of luck, I do hope it works out!
Support is inundated right now and with it being the weekend it may take a few days for you to get a response I'm afraid.
I can wait but please make this a priority to be fixed because loosing stuff from the premium rift will anger alot of people.
I'm not even home, to even see mine. But i would send a support ticket, like everyone said.
