Why is duty of care still this strong? Nerf it already!

It’s OBVIOUSLY wayyy too strong, shoulder the burden level strong, and will be especially bad against low level killers. The problem was never the range it’s the strength and time of the haste! You literally get the same distance as sprint burst with no cooldown, it’s obnoxious. Make it 10% for 3 seconds. IT NEEDS A NERF.

I'm starting to think BHVR is just soft retiring m1 killers entirely where no one will continue to play them. All recent killers have had dashes or map mobility in some form (houndmaster dog gets a dash, too). I feel they have decided to just balance the game entirely around the expectation that killers will be playing mobility killers, and instead of killswitching the old m1 killers, they are just making them so absolutely unappealing that hardly anyone will play them any more - problem fixed in their eyes.

  • If that is true it’s a big problem. They should buff the weaker killers to the same level of the stronger ones.

  • Why is it too strong? Show me those situations when it is too strong.

  • It's no different than For The People. Survivor are off Generators to get value. You can see where everyone scatters to. The person sacrificing themself is still vulnerable. If Survivor aren't scattering then they are wasting the Perk. Maps are small there is only so much they can run.

literally taking a hit for another survivor and thus helping them reach a safe tile in a game where taking hits for teammates is already a very powerful way to play as survivor

Its more like for the people buckle up, a combo which had to get removed entirely. The Killer tries to get a down and instead ends up with two injured but untouchable Survivors.

Honestly this, killer power has been powercrept and survivor is also balanced according to it, some strong killers still stands but majority of normal killers are laughably bad

  • Does it still activate on Deathslinger's shots and Pinhead's chains?

Shoulder isn't that good bro. Duty of care is situational and doesn't last long, which Is why it had no number nerfs
