It's so weird why they are so adamant about it, are they hiding something?

This is going to come off kinda rude, and I don't mean it as such, but if you're good at killer, you shouldn't need to rely on condemned. It's not meant to be her main playstyle, it's to punish survivors for not dealing with it when they have the chance. That's why the stacks become permanent when they get hooked. I run a scourge hook build on Sadako that pressures the survivors enough that they hardly ever get all gens done. I think this a great way to punish people who exploit her power instead of playing the game normally. It forces Sadako players to get better at the game by playing normally rather than resorting to a crutch playstyle that can't be fun for either side. Can you honestly say that you have fun playing like that? Your bloodpoint gain is probably slower too as a result because you're not taking part in mechanics that would normally give you a lot of bloodpoints.
There is no "punishment" for survivors anymore, they will get reward for not interacting her, with increased gen speed and regression immunity
-
considering massive amount of KR difference it would make, backlash buffs for killers too would be a stupid one
-
Do they really have no better idea than dash killers?
Is it because of complaint, or lack of creativity? I didn't expected myers to be yet another dash killer, feels strange tbh
-
It's "healthy" for sure, I can't wait for them to notice how ridiculous those changes are and increase EVERY basekit killer speed by 0.2m/s
It's gonna be funny

Uhm… no her power is Tape Slowdown and Teleport. The Mori is for when Survivor fail to fix their tape charges.
Brother, who gonna waste time in running around when sadako can't kill them anyways? that's pointless, only pressure for her "slowdown" is mori, if she can't mori, there is no slowdown
I think you should think twice before posting something like that
-
clown "buff" lmao

How so with Pyramid Head? He seems to gotten an overall positive changes with the add on rework that was long overdue. The BT and haste from cage saves I'll give it a meh.
He is buffed in QoL aspect, but MS nerf is a massive power reduction which can barely compensated by other things
-
-
Everything in this post is pure nerf, he 100% will be weaker
-
Yeah, it's cool to have the system, but banning people for being extremely bad isn't something great
-
It's not like you'll get immediately notified to killers after 10 seconds, you have enough time
games only lasts like 15 minutes as far as normal game goes
-
Just like any other mediocre killers, he doesn't have as much lethality as chase killers, nor have as much slowdown as side-objective based killers
He is a bit of everything and quite lackluster for that
-
Because every unique killer got ridiculous amount of backlash and they had to practically rework all of them, they don't want to waste workload like that anymore
-
Decent, pretty decent anti-loop with not so short cooldown, good mobility, and also has stealth
unlikely to be a strongest but I don't feel he is lacking

so we’ll just pretend like high mobility killers who stack slowdowns don’t exist?
As if those things are related in slightest, there is no reason high mobility killers choose something like CoB over any other instant reliable slowdown perks, unless those perks are completely gutted
-
Honestly 200% regression was only strong because there was no regression limit and also stacked with overcharge, in current dbd we can even buff it to 400% and still won't be that strong
-
Exact same reason why survivors complain about tunneling, they can't play the game if generators are finished within 5 minutes
-
@LockerLurk said:
Taking things away is never the proper response to making a game more fun.
Honestly, anything listed here is barely a "thing" if we call that
-
The problem is the mode is generally heavily tilted towards survivor as is, balancing it would be even more difficult if we gonna give em "fun" things on top of basekit tools
maybe we should nerf every basekit features even more while buffing special powers even more? at least it'd freshen the mode
-
Same as boons, invocation or boon shouldn't actually be "great perk" like at all

But then the devs are regularly adding perks that have stealth and/or deception elements. Make it make sense if no one cares…
we should remove all those perks altogether I guess
-
Who cares, no one loves stealth including both survivors and killers
-
Still too weak, I tried using those combo but you still needs nemesis to see auras and also duration is stupidly short
duration should be increased to like 30 seconds or more
-
recent killer tend to have dash, projectile, recon and mobility all-in-one in their kit, it'd be interesting if springtrap decide to not have any
-
Literal bullying simulator
-
Tfw legion being strongest (and only actually viable) killer in 2v8
-
dbd is a game of utilizing most unbalanced aspect at the moment tbh, be it tunneling, be it skull merchant, be it undying/ruin, be it quad stacked slowdowns
Adaptability is the key
-
@Nazzzak said:
Part of the reason we got the Abandon feature is because too many killers were forcing survivors to stay in the dying state and bleed out for even longer than the endgame countdown. And if all survivors Abandon, you're actually able to Abandon the game too.
And many survivors hides in a corner while extending EGC to 4 minutes with plot twist and only leave when there is like 30 seconds left, forcing killers to stay
What's the difference between leaving survivors on ground and prolonging EGC to absolute maximum while removing agency from killers? literally nothing

It’s kind of crazy that it’s possible for Legion to injure 8 people and then hit a 9th on a single use of their power. I remember someone on this forum actually trying to argue that Legion wasn’t a problem when paired with Oni because “any other killer can also injure people”. LOLZ
Yeah it's crazy there was 8 survivors and none of them bothered to hit legion with pallet instead of simply getting a hit
-
100% hated, no matter how popular franchise are, no matter how "interactive" objectives gonna be, everyone absolutely will hate side-objective
-
Pretty sure those who do great with current kaneki can do lot better with any other better mobility killers
-
at least it's 15 minutes for me, still long but meh
-
even in 1v4 there is oftentimes matchmaking fails, of course it never works in 2v8
Strangely though, it works decently in my killer matches and killer matches only
-
@100PercentBPMain said:
I like the idea as it forces killers to actually win chases and kill and not just starve survivors to death
"win chase" isn't even an option for like 70% of killer roster, majority of killers have literally zero counter against pallets
Basically, forcing killers to actually win chase is equivalent of forcing killer players to only use high tier killer who can simply ignore pallets, it's not a great design and pretty sure it's not even fun for survivors because everyone uses uninteractive killers
The fundamental strategy of dbd is "starve survivors to death", which is still same in 2v8 because you can't waste time of two killers into a chase

Lmaooo bro called dredge weak.
He is fine. His power needs to BE tunes down a bit tho. Cant see anything
He IS weak, he is playable and winnable so not worst killer in the game, but weak
-
It's objectively survivor sided compared to 1v4, not sure about another round of 2v8 though
It's only made "balanced" by survivors who refuses to do gens at all
At least they should remove pallet reconstruction as that only leads killers to play nurse/legion/blight/huntress and all those "skip pallet" killers

Explain how I was able to keep up with this decent Wesker against a pretty strong team if Ghostface is bad in 2v8. I'll wait.
You are pretty cute if you think individual hook counter means anything in 2v8, lol

15% if you have Fearmonger
That's not unique to him though, his power isn't something that stops survivors from seeing ghostface, quite opposite

He has a 10% permanent haste and stealth at will, thats more mobility and surprise than trapper, slinger, huntress and nemesis
Definitely not permanent, his power is easiest power ever to counter, literally "just look at him"
And on top of it, 10% haste isn't even a proper power at all

I have, and I never get revealed unless I down someone. His permanent 10% speed boost is really unfair, you're already undetectable what else could you need? I have not seen anyone clown Ghostface in 2v8, cus hes a strong support killer
He is objectively weakest support killer because he lacks mobility or range unlike any other actually strong support killers
-

I honestly think anyone calling this Killer weak and powerless in either mode simply is not very good at his style of gameplay, and that's fine. Most people prefer a chasedown style or to spam an M2 power these days. It's understandable. He's an old Killer from an older style of DBD. Not everyone has patience for that anymore.
Including game itself, everything is vastly faster and many killers literally can't keep up
And then, 2v8 is a lot faster than 1v4 too
-
What I'm saying here is that, he is an easy to hit killer relative to other instadowns, and I think his hit isn't actually easier to land than other non-instadown killers, they are balanced around with skipping a health state in mind
so if we apply the same logic of "he is stronger because he is balanced with power cooldown in mind", I think "he is weaker because he is balanced with skipping health state in mind" must be true too
-
@Cassiopeiae said:
You're being taken down in a single hit regardless, and he's significantly faster than you. Meanwhile, you're effectively broadcasting your location, allowing him to move seamlessly from one survivor to the next. His ability to chain downs is only made easier by a power that Legion essentially hands to him at no cost.
And that's the point, you're being taken down in a single hit regardless, and in my opinion his biggest strength is instant down which is negated by legion's injury, his dash is more or less better billy(which is still meh due to the amount of pallets in 2v8) and his M1 is honestly worse than normal M1, speed isn't any better than killers I've listed either, on top of it "chain down" is also not as strong in 2v8 because everyone has unbreakable and there is too much survivors who can easily pick slugged one up
@Brokenbones said:
Think about it this way
If Oni's power wasn't on a big cooldown and he had it 24/7 - he'd be probably the 2nd most busted Killer in the game no contest. Maybe even better than Nurse if played super well.
The fact that he has periods of time without his power and has to work to use it is what makes him a balanced character
He'd be a 2nd most busted killer in 1v4, but here we are talking about 2v8 with infinite pallet and 8x unbreakable with 24 hooks to do
Not to mention the fact you are still have to walk around to find blood orbs so it's not as fast as it looks, not like survivors are everywhere while bleeding repeatedly
Legion definitely isn't busted killer in any way in 1v4, but he is probably a strongest killer in 2v8, thinking it same way as 1v4 balance is strange
-
@TheTom20 said:
Even the best killers seem to struggle in this mode if people actually do gens they get done
Of course they do, killer class/passive buff is weaker than addons/perks while survivor class being vastly superior than perks, there is 0.25 less gen per survivors (4-5 vs 8-8), effective removal of tunneling, and maps are favoring survivors by large margin(extremely large and ridiculous amount of pallets), the mode is objectively survivor sided than 1v4… if they play seriously
-
People NEVER cared about balance in 2v8, all they want to do is teamwork of killers, which even makes most of survivor mains to play killers
It's matchmaking has always been like that, doesn't matter what killer they add, doesn't matter how they balance the game, it's just that core concept of tag-team makes everyone to play killer
-
How can killers find you without generators? literally impossible as only aura reading they have is chase, gen done, and gen broke
-
The only problem is weird double standards of killers not having it, "surrender" is not a bad feature
-
In the first day it was extremely killer sided, but nowadays it's 100% survivor sided as majority of games are so much escapes
I suppose having proper survivors in matches was all it needed to tilt the game toward them
-

Yeah he's a chase monster you can just pop night shroud during chase to get 10% haste and it lingers and the cooldowns is so short you never have to worry about it
Kinda defeats the purpose of power though
His power in 2v8 is pretty much the Clown at the home
