Can BHVR confirm when the PTB is coming?
All you guys said is 'more info coming' which is extremly vauge and doesn't really tell us anything. It would be nice to know for sure when the PTB is coming since you guys usally do that, but you didn;t this time.

They said in the dev update last week that the PTB would be this week, so given that plus the date mentioned in the video trailer, it probably is the 15th.
But more info could mean alot of things is my main argument
I also was confused about this especially because all the new killer ptbs have been on a Tuesday the past 4 years.
That being said the forged in fog teaser had the same learn more text for November 1st which was the date of the ptb. So presumably it will be Wednesday, I'm not sure why they moved it from Tuesday.

Except for the 1 or 2 times it's been a Wednesday, and leaving it til 1-2 hours before isn't unheard of either

I don't think they've ever done that. I can't fathom why they're always so cagey about everything.
There have been several PTBs starting on Wednesdays. Also they explicitly stated that they do not commit to specific days as there is always something that might disturb things and then they would have to postpone.
this time, it’s pretty much stated officially, that PTB is on 15th, and it’s usual that we don’t get more info beforehand (patchnotes usually get released half an hour before PTB I think)
The Wednesday ones were midchapters, the new killer PTBs have always been on Tuesday going back through 2018.
The PTB for Plague's chapter was on a Wednesday.
Double checked and this is right it was March 6th 2019. So it has happened at least once before.
Probably cause a lot of content was leaked early in advance

Yes, new chapter with I think one killer and one survivor at least confirmed and everything from the dev note last week
rumors say it might be double surv like Stranger Things or RE chapters. But I kinda still doubt that. Also new map is unlikely but possible.
It still makes no sense they can't just say Ptb planned for such and such date.
The end of the trailer said "Learn more on Feb 15TH", they said last week there is a PTB "Next Week". If us DBD players could unite and put some braincells together I'm sure we can figure out what this means.
Obviously we can figure out what it means. My point is it would be nice if they'd give us a straight answer when the question comes up.
But they don't because if they were to say "PTB on the 15th" and then an unfixable technical issue arose on the 15th that prevented the PTB going live, even if they were to release an apology like "Oh sorry guys the Internet in all of Canada is down and it's actually the German intern tweeting this" people would still find a way to blame them.
By saying "Find out more" and not "PTB on" it safeguards them against the risk. They can just publish information about the chapter and be like "Oh lol sorry PTB soon guys x" Because you and I both know what this player base is like, so I don't think you need to think for too long before realising that sending half of them into a rabid frenzy over a missed day is a good idea.
