Seriously, ds dont need any change, ds is a anti tunnel perk and the killers want tunnel and cry about the ds, if you go to the man who rescued, the ds man is gonna lose time realing yourself, seriously

STOP

Comments

  • I can agree it shouldn't activate on lockers

  • And yet it can activate when not tunneling

  • man the devs already nerf ds, the cant nerf again :D

  • No, wanting to tunnel has absolutely nothing to do with why people want changes to do DS.

It's supposed to be an anti-tunnel perk and it currently is not. It's a 60 second immunity perk.

It needs a shorter time and to deactivate if a different person is hooked.

Looks at legion and Freddy 1.0

  • This content has been removed.
  • Freddy gets nerf what?? He is better now and the new freddy dont need any nerf, but the old legion, i cant talo about him

  • If DS is an anti-tunnel perk, then it at least shouldn't be able to activate during the EGC or if there's only one survivor left alive. Tunneling is something that happens early in the game, not at the end of it.

  • Getoutofjail card that lasts 60 seconds (up to 120secs)

"just slug" so they can just be picked up by another surv if you dont pay attention for 1 second?

why does it work on lockers?

why does it still work after the killer hooked someone else? thats not tunneling at all.

    most used survivor perk

i remember how balanced this game with the first nerfed version of ds, now its just boring and in every game, stopping the momentum of killers that perform too well

  • So u prefer the old ds or the new ds?

    make your choice

  • the olds ds was easily avoidable by dropping a survivor and hook him actually, with the new you cant. actually i prefer the olds ds when aswell enduring countered yeah.

We dont have to "make a choice",lmao

  • I honestly preferred the old DS over the current one, for 3 reasons:

    1. No counterplay. Slugging to avoid it, is not countering, its delaying. If a survivors wants to DS you, they will DS you, or you sit on their butt for full 60 seconds, doing nothing and giving up your map pressure. If you slug them, they get picked up again, either by another survivor or by Unbreakable. DS slows the momentum of a killer that downs too fast.
    2. You get hit by DS more, and for a longer time. Old DS had one obsession, and up to 3 non-obsession. Non-obsession DS never came into play 9 out of 10 times, unless you got greedy for the basement. You could minimise the chances even more by bringing hook offerings. It was pretty much a wasted perkslot for everyone but the obsession. Those were often extra cocky, and rarely did gens.
    3. It is used more. Now that DS is advertised as Anti-tunnel perk, instead of Get-out-of-Jail perk, people no longer feel bad for running it. If a killer gets DS'd, they are just labbelled as tunneller, no matter the circumstances. Pretty much every 2nd game, I get 3 or 4 survivors running DS. Before its rework there was rarely more than just one DS.

Old DS was only able to be countered vs the Obsession (and they had to be close to a hook, and if any of their friends tried to body block then that was it, you were screwed). If all 4 survivors ran it, then the 3 who weren't the obsession would stab you after you'd already wasted a lot of time getting them most of the way to the hook. And Enduring didn't counter it, it just shortened the stun.

Old DS was awful. New DS can at least mostly be countered by slugging and not tunneling. The only problem with it is that it can still hurt killers even when they don't tunnel. 60 seconds of immunity is a long time for doing nothing other than getting hooked.

Enduring Made it almost useless specially at level 1. And no You could do it With every survivor but the body blocks were possible Is true but at the same time You could slug and get many survivors off from their objective and near to You to get easier chases You didnt Even need to find people back un he day they used to go to you to but yeah i was being a little bit sarcástic except for enduring back in the day i didnt Even Care about ds due enduring 2.5 seconds stun not 5 and letting them leave to the other side of the map.

  • I'll take current DS over old DS any day.

    @ocafghanistan

This is a strategy against slugging.

So if they would change that, then the timer needs to pause if the killer came right back and slugged.
