I have issues on second hook pretty frequently. I'm hitting the button, but it still kills me when I should still have more time left.

I’m at work at the moment but does anyone know if the latest patch fixed this infuriating glitch?
It wasn't on the patch notes.

This is happening to me as well. I went without playing for a day, to get away from the 15 minute penalty. First game last night - the game kicks me. Another penalty. So I just went to on play COD, since I don't want to incur any additional penalties on top of that. It is very frustrating for people who play the game as much as I do, and who invest in the Rift and other cosmetics. Clearly it is a cross-platform problem that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later. I never had this issue before the latest chapter drop, and I certainly don't have it with any other game I run.

This happens to me pretty frequently (I'm on XBox). You can be pressing the button, but you are still sacrificed well before when it ought to happen.

This happens to me once a day, at least. It's massively frustrating.

I have been having this same issue on XBox, about once a night. My internet speed is excellent, NAT type is always Open, I use a hardwired connection. I've done a hard reset. Still, at least once a day I get disconnected from a match. Sometimes it shows the disconnection symbol for both me and the killer, other times I get the escape symbol. Either way, I still get a disconnection penalty even though I did not intentionally DC. It is very frustrating. It is clearly a cross platform issue. I have submitted tickets almost every time, and am getting the same response. Which doesn't feel like much of a response.

It's getting to the point I am just going to have to play something else if the penalties keep increasing (for something that is of no fault of my own!).

Goodnight. The reason for this report is to indicate that the game sometimes automatically disconnects me from the game and penalizes me with waiting times, it accumulated so much that now I have to wait 5 hrs to ply again, it is my knowledge that it performs that sanction for those who disconnect on purpose, but it seems unfair to me that the sanctions come when this would be a game cconnection error.
Frequency of error: The error usually happens between 1 to 2 times a day, and I understand that it has happened whit many other users.
I will be waiting for yours answer, thanks!

And of course, right after, I wound up with an 15 minute penalty. All because the GAME is disconnecting me. I really wish they would look in to this, and clearly it is a cross platform issue.

The Game and Springwood, as survivor.

I agree. I lost a few pips last night in games where the killer dc'd very early in the game (this happened about four times in just one evening). Adding to that - killers get a bonus when survivors dc, I think survivors should get a bonus when killers do the same.
-
I understand that "advantage" the survivors have. Frankly, I myself do not pay attention to what others bring in to a match. That is just my personal method of play. I don't go in to a game trying to depend on others.
The main issue is killers lobby dodging due to who or what they see coming in to the lobby. I believe the problem could be eliminated if killers were unable to see what survivors and items are coming in to the lobby. Killers wouldn't feel the need to run from lobbies before even knowing what sort of players they are actually up against (like I said before - not every SWF team is in beast mode - some of us just play for fun).
If you can find a better way to prevent lobby dodging by killers, then I am fine with the status quo. But right now, it is a problem. I am encountering this issue every day.

I see your points, however not all SWF groups go into a match in beast mode. The people I run with don't typically run DS and go in with flashlights (I myself am terrible with a flashlight - never stunned one killer to date. Actually, the only time I plan to run DS is when I go for the Adept Laurie achievement). But perhaps I am in the minority with that.
SWF can help you to know what is going on, but so can Bond (and to an extent, empathy) if you are running solo. I myself run Bond at top tier on all of my survivors.
It is incredibly frustrating for survivors to repeatedly wait in lobbies only to have killers back out when they see a character or item come in that they're afraid of. I would like to see a report option for that, but as we all know, the survivors do not know who the killer is until the end of the match. (At least it is that way on XBox.) We are unable to report a killer for lobby dodging, because we have no idea who he or she is.
If some sort of penalty were implemented that would deter killers from lobby dodging, then I would be okay with the status quo of killers seeing survivors but not vice versa. However, as it stands right now, it is incredibly frustrating at the survivor level. I had three right in a row do this last night, and then two again a while later.
