  • Just realized, this is probably the wrong section for a lore based discussion, but eh, there are more people checking out general discussion than lore discussion.

  • It's like having one save on the live servers and one save on the PTB. The save on the PTB starts of as your live one but any progress on the PTB stays for that PTB save. Nothing is transferable to the save you have on live. So spend your iridescent shards on the PTB if you want extra bp for upgrading the killer for extra perks and addons, without any iridescent shards being used up on the live servers.

  • I suppose they are event items for chinese new year and such. However, firecrackers being all year addons is a good idea, and it's not hard to think of addons for them.

  • Join the DBD discord server. There you can find voice chats with people looking to play with others and more.

  • Input lag maybe? Try hitting way earlier.

no one said gens ?? and no one said anything close to what the other killers do ??

You were saying stuff like survivors disappearing which is way worse and powerful than generators disappearing. And at least with the pallet part of this power, it's sort of similar to freddy and doc, as both of their powers make pallets useless an disappear.

  • I mean, we got doc and freddy with the pallet disappearing mechanic, and also if everything kept on disappearing like gens and stuff, that's pretty unfun game design.

  • Only change I think keys need is that they shouldn't be able to be used during chases and they need like 10 or something (maybe less) seconds to open the hatch.

  • It reduces your phase movement speed by 15%, unless there is a bug which doesn't reduce her movement speed in phase. Try one game with the amulet and one without I suppose.

Make sure not to use any other addons though.

  • I'm unsure if the Stadia and Steam versions are the same, but the way you can turn it on in Steam (and hopefully Stadia) is by going to the main menu (not survivor or killer menu) go to options which I think is the left-most option on the bottom and then scroll down to the bottom ane check off the Enable Crossplay button or something along the lines of that.

  • I forget about the bad voice acting of the recent survivors but Èlodie's voice acting could literally make me laugh, especially when you carry her. It sounds like she is coughing into a voice changer.

  • Sounds boring, just watch a horror movie if you want genuine acting that works. If it happens, there will probably only be one tournment which people will watch 1 round or something and see how it goes and move on.

  • Try and install it on steam. It will ask tell you how much space it will take up before it downloads.

  • I haven't seen the power struggle animation or much about it. But I know when you pallet save someone, a bloodpoint event happens (Like when you complete a generator you get a notification of how much bloodpoints you get in the left middle of the screen), so if that bloodpoint event happens and says the same thing as if you saving a survivor, I'd assume power struggle would count towards the achievement.

  • Nurse and demo are my mains. I for some reason like hard killers in this game, so hillbilly, myers and more I tend to play. However I barely play DBD nowadays so whenever I play like once a week, it's either demo or nurse.

  • No, it's not supposed to happen. It seems like a common bug, as in the DBD discord server, someone stated a similar issue of losing rank when someone else disconnected.

  • Some killer mains are like this and some aren't. I personally don't mind DS because it just never impacts me unless I'm winning tremendously and manage to pick up someone who was hooked 60 second ago. I don't use ruin undying either.

  • Probably isn't a solution but check if crossplay is on. The way to check is by going to the main menu (not survivor or killer menus) and click on settings or options (forgot what it is). Then scroll all the way down and see if crossplay is checked or not. If it's checked, then I don't know the problem. If it isn't checked, check it and try accepting and sending friend requests.

  • Well, due to me not knowing what you do when you play as Oni, I'll just say a few tips.

Only activate your power if you see someone (not from a far away aura like BBQ) and if you expect to get a quick down. If you can get a quick down, with Infectious Fright and Monitor and Abuse, you can quickly begin snowballing, getting 2-3 downs per power use or maybe 4 if you are lucky.

Get your power early on by hitting someone and making them constantly vault or drop a pallet. Dropping pallets and vaulting while injured makes you drop blood everytime you do it, so instead of downing them (can't get blood while they are down, therefore no power, so worst option) or just breaking pallets (works, but less effiecent to get power compared to the strategy above), you can quickly get your power. Always go for extra hits on healthy people though, easily the fastest way to get your power.

Perks that I use on him:

BBQ and Chili - I use it for bloodpoints and because I'm used to it

Monitor and Abuse - 24m terror radius is good for an early hit and a 40m Infeectious Fright radius is super nice to have

Infectious Fright - A must have perk on Oni

Corrupt Intervention - Forces survivors to be closer to you in order to generators and the early game is the hardest for Oni, so I really like Corrupt on him

  • Probably was a joke question, but anyways looping and stealth are good weapons against killers. Obviously the survivors you're going against don't know how to loop and you don't know how to loop as well.

  • Is it possible to see your save files on your xbox? If you can, try and tinker around with them and see if you can fix the problem. If it's saved on the cloud or you can't access it, send a support ticket to BHVR.

    Bring back bloodlust!!!

    Killers getting exposed!!!

    https://twitter.com/i/status/1330071826370863104

Literally one of the worst examples I have seen. It's so obvious what the killers mistakes are. Respecting pallets constantly and falling for fake vaults is not a reason for a lack of bloodlust being a bad thing.

  • Agreed. I rarely get bloodlust ever, as I just break pallets and use my power before bloodlust comes into effect. Which is what all killers should do. The true skill of killers should come out around now.

  • Did you really rely on bloodlust that much in the past? I'm personally unaffected by the experiment, as if I break pallets, bloodlust gets removed anyway, so I usually never got bloodlust and still got chases done.

  • I don't think anyone will reply, try posting to the other forums where more players will see.

  • You use your first blink to get closer to them or close enough to hit then and then the second blink to adjust or blink to them. You don't really need to guess where they will go, as usually survivors will be easy to follow if they aren't behind a wall, as they can adjust fast enough to a 333% movement ability.

  • Try playing a 110% killer, as that's what Tuned Carburetor changes your movement to. If billy feels slower than the 110% killer, then it's bugged.

  • You don't need all perks to be equally powerful. Thana has place in the game with Legion and Plague, not all perks need to work with all killers. Also your ideas don't make sense. You don't win with 3 perks dedicated to slowing down gens, who cares about thana combining with other perks.

  • Get Plague, her perks are the best for lots killers like corrupt intervention and infectious fright. If you're a myers main like your profile picture suggests, both of those perks are staples for myers and oni, and corrupt is one of my favorite perks as its very useful on hag, huntress, deathslinger and many more. I can see the reasoning in buying Jane, Head-on looks fun (I don't have it), but if you're a killer main, get Plague and even if you played both sides, get Plague.

  • I may be wrong but being p3 50 might reduce your chances further of getting pestulas as the higher prestige the more rarer items. Pestulas are 3k bp, so they should be common rarity. As there are lots of common items, instead of petulas, it will give you common offerings and addons instead.

  • May be a bit biased as a killer main but Rotten Fields is both fun for me and survivor. As a survivor the loops are fun and strong usually and it's great trying to hide in the corn. As killer, it's usually a joy as well (except if I play nurse). Chainsaw killers, Huntress and more are pretty fun on this map.

But yeah it's a stupid map nontheless.

  • It's free and I'm pretty sure it's easy to make an account. So even if they were banned (I'm unsure if mobile has an anti-cheat system), they could come back as many times as they want to have their fill of hacking. Maybe there might even be reduced hacking on PC and Console as they can just hack on mobile for free.

  • 150k-225k as remember most bloodwebs have up to 15k+ bp things to buy.

  • Must be a bug then.

  • 100% possible that even your pc may have been affected by the new map designs, at that its difficult for your pc to run it, therefore resulting in worse results. Do you only get these issues on the changed maps? Yes, then it's because of the maps. No, probably something like bad optimization for everything in the new update.

  • Yes, they will be avaliable after a select time after the rift has finished. Don't remember the exact time but it should be around a few months.

  • If you place your trap too close to a vault, the survivors can actually fast vault far enough to not be affected by the trap. Try placing traps where they will land when they fast vault and it will work both ways.

  • Did you check at the end of the game if there were any perks used to get rid of scratch marks? Theses perks are rarely used but they exist. If it happens consistently, it's a bug or scratch marks are being consistently stupid for you.

It says in his backstory he used weaponised stationary and stuff to torture his victims, and one of his main things is that the Rust(Really liked that name) Doesn't go away for 20 seconds, and his ability to teleport to lockers means he can provide map pressure while still laying out a sort of trap. Also I made him 115% now.

Eh, if you wanted to make him better by making his lockers work like The Hag, it's neat, but still his base power is just a worse legion. Are you overestimating the size of the red stain? Because if it was any larger, than this power would be great and possibly overpowered if it could go over pallets, but the red stain isn't that large. Maybe he can have charges or something which you activate which makes it larger for 5 seconds and the effect of your red stain is always activated, so you can hit survivors wanting to Dead Hard without lunging and stuff.

  • Doesn't seem very strong or fun at all. A lunge is longer than your red stain, so this is just basically smaller lunge that has additional effects? Remember, this is a 110% movement speed killer, so this power just gets weaker as you have to get closer slower than a 115% killer. An attempted buff I guess is map pressure by being able to teleport with lockers. Good I guess but he is still a 110% killer with a bad power.

Underperform could use a buff of also closing windows, as survivors could just vault windows for the 16 seconds and then use the pallet. Class in session is weak, just use enduring for a permenant effect and just don't get blinded, flashlights are weak. Soulless Education is probably the worst killer perk in the game probably. I see hooks saboed rarely and usually it doesn't effect me when it does. Dropping pallets without a purpose is great for the killer, so why does this perk stop this?

Also where is the flavor in the power? Scissor terror radius? Just call it The Rust or something. I'm pretty sure all the killers have some sort of reason for their power in their lore or character. Hillbilly, an insane farmer having a wild chainsaw. Spirit, a spirit who can travel into the etheral plane. Cannibal, a chainsaw that can cut bodies up.

  • Perhaps you managed to depip during the rank reset, so you went down to rank ten, 4 pips.

  • Yeah people are apparently having problems with rank reset. In fact, in both of the rank resets you mentioned, you should have went down to rank 9 no pips, because the way it works is that it resets you back to the highest rank of the previous color.

  • Anything and everything can be added to DBD. All you you need is proper licensing, to legally use copyrighted material in a different game. Then the rest is easy, make up a killer power, map, survivor and ta da.

  • Territorial Imperative has a thing where you have to be 32 meters away from the basement, and it has a cooldown. Make sure you are 32 meters from the basement.

  • Nope, still hasn't been fixed. As everyone in the community wants the change to happen, you can expect when you go into Dead By Dayloght that there will be an announcement saying they changed it to its proper state.
