Honestly I feel like the community should work together against hackers, because they take away from the game. Technically yeah we could mind our own business but they still cheated to get to where they are.

The Q&A was a little sad compared to their other ones, but they have mentioned before that they will be working on console more. They mentioned graphical updates during 4th Anniversary Stream, but I feel like that's going to be a bit in the future (which is why they aren't ready to release additional information for it).

I understand, but I don't agree.
Most survivors that are sent to the naughty box are place right next to, or close to, another survivor. This usually means a survivor can safely help their buddy and get out. If a Pyramid Head gets to him at the same time or before a survivor does, the survivor can either wait for him to leave or complete gens if he's being facecamped.
I don't know if making him unable to see his caged survivors would really be fair. If it's really a big problem that the community agrees on, then maybe add a barrier to the survivor that prevents him from being close to them. Add the ability to stop someone from being caged. Make cages and hooks separate. Punish the killer for going after people who just got uncaged.
Personally I haven't experienced the players you talk about, so it honestly could be an isolated thing. Or something like a face camping bubba; annoying but can be dealt with.

It sucks and it is being reworked as soon as possible, but look on the bright side: if you play against high rank survivors, you'll become accustomed to how they play. In this current meta, you'll see a lot of the same survivors with the same play styles with the same perks, so this is your chance to learn to beat them :)

I'm pretty sure becoming Undetectable at any point in the game is helpful.

Trial of Torment should be active after kicking a gen so the speed you kick won't matter as you'll be undetectable after you finish kicking.
Right. So the faster you kick the gen, the faster you can become sneaky and go after survivors.

Seems like a great perk. Anything that let's you sneak around is good.
Plus randomly hearing the heartbeat stop must be pretty scary

It can also be used with Brutal Strength so you can quickly damage a gen and find a survivor before they have a chance to figure out that you're Undetectable.

Maybe a longer duration. But there's other undetectable perks that have requirements. Insidious requires you to stand still, Dark Devotion requires you to hit the Obsession.
I mean you don't have to use PH with this perk, and it can be used for mind games. Also I believe some survivor perks highlight a gen in yellow, so they could get tricked.

I disagree, and let me explain.
For awhile I saw nothing but Oni. I don't know why, but I'm really bad against him. However, I'm pretty good in Lery's and Autohaven. So I use the map offering so that I have a chance.
Also I don't believe the new map is that bad

I use the Rites oJ to more accurately predict my snipes. Survivors affected by it leave behind a trail so I can track them. If you down a tormented survivor next to a hooked one, you can send him to the naughty box and you now have two survivors that are far apart that need rescuing. The ability to use a naughty box scares the survivors.
I use add-ons to prolong the time it's on the map so that they're still there later on :)

I wonder if it's bad or good. I mean on one hand, no kindred. On the other hand, they are usually placed halfway across the map. A survivors runs over to them, uncages them, and heals them. If PH wanted to tunnel, he'd waste valuable time.

It's not holding anything if you stand over a down survivor. 1 others can do gens and 2 the down persons on a timer no one's held hostage.

Bioshock would definitely be a cool addition to the game. Bioshock has just the right atmosphere to me.

I believe refusing to participate in the main objective and preventing the other team from completing theirs is holding the game hostage. If your strategy involves hitting multiple survivors (say, blinding everyone using Hex: The Third Seal) then do so. If the strategy is to down a survivor and stand over their body, preventing other survivors from healing them and you attack them but you don't chase, you're definitely holding the game hostage.

This is a good idea, helps make totems more effective for killers and less easy/boring for survivors.

3rd Seal is great for making the game harder in general. Oblivious would be great but I like my Blindness so maybe a separate hex or perk? Or maybe it stacks to Oblivious like Devour Hope stacks to Exposed?

Hatch spawns in weird places but I would recommend to always check under the docks first

Play With Your Wood is overrated I think. The speed boost is a lot but isn't a must have.

It would prefer them dying by the sand. It would happen like this:
Pharaoh leans over downed survivor as a sinkhole is formed beneath the survivor's feet
Survivor starts to sink and panics, grabbing onto the Pharaoh's legs
Pharaoh learns down and opens his mouth, as dozens of scarab beetles fly out from his mouth and eyes
The survivor lets got in an attempt to swat the beetles and then has their torso swallowed by the earth
The survivor clutches as the ground as their head is swallowed, screaming all the while, until they are completely absorbed into the earth
THAT WOULD BE SO COOL
I wish devs would allow kills that cause body dismemberment or the body would disappear.

A plant based killer would definitely be awesome. It would make maps with vegetation more spooky

Forced Penance is bad because of protection hits, low duration, and obslete effect.
When do Protection hits happen? While someone is being carried and when you body block for another injured Survivor. Forced Penance does literally NOTHING outside of these two circumstances.
So what happens when you take a hit while someone is being carried? You run off and cant heal for a bit? Doesnt stop you from doing anything else, especially gens.
What about when you block for an injured Survivor? Either the killer stays on target and you have the same situation as above or the killer switches targets to you and what is Broken doing that you are being chased?
Forced Penance is an EASY contender for worst perk in the game. I'd argue that Monstrous Shrine has a more significant effect.
Say multiple survivors are hit while carrying another survivor. Most scenarios they heal and save him before he goes into the 2nd/Struggle phase. Now they they risk going down to save their buddy. Now they have 30s where their hands are tied. They could work on gens for 30s, then have to heal and by time they safely get back to him he's already on death hook next time he's down.
If it was too much longer it would be overpowered, and if it happened all the time then the survivors would never be able to heal.

What the modified forced Penance or the garbage that the devs put out? In the niche situation of a protection hit they can't heal for 30s. That's total garbage especially when the perk you already mentioned, sloppy applies on every basic attack no conditions and actually takes time away from the survivor by increasing heal time and actually stays useful even if you hook them immediately after. 30s of broken is useless if you chase them as hook and whoops perk did nothing and if you don't they just go find a gen and it'll probably be near the end of the duration when they get to one.
The modified version would be pretty cool, and yeah they couldn't heal for two minutes.
The existing version is still effective, but obviously not as much. I still don't see how it's a bad perk

That’s not the actual perk. Actual perk is only broken for 30 seconds.
oops I'm a little not smart.
Still, with the combo the survivor is going to take forever to heal after protecting their buddy.

Something like this would be pretty cool, especially if you wanted to keep a survivor away from an area. If they added environmental hazards juggernaut's ability would be metal asf

I can't see how Forced Penance is possibly bad. Sloppy Butcher+ Forced Penance = a survivor that's easy to locate, chase, and will take 2 minutes to heal.

It really sucks but as a killer I get messages like "lmao you r bad you only killed 2 people and you had to use NOED lmao" or something like that. I usually respond with "yeah it was a tough game! You guys were really good! GG"
And all I get back is "gg".
I once got "sorry for being mean man I've just been having a lot of bad games gg wp". It was nice

Dead by Daylight is a really fun game. There's different ways to play and just as many ways to die. Obviously there's unfairness and obnoxious gameplay, with toxic players and exploits. But I still think it's one of the best asymmetrical games out there.

I struggle as survivor and avoid using pallets unnecessarily but if my teammates leave me to die then I'm using as many as it takes to survive
