The first few are fun and a good addition.
Do it yourself' is kind of strange. I rarely see it activating unless matchmaking is having a hard time. Also, if you are able to run the killer that long, most gens should be done making the results less valuable. I don't think you should buff it, I think it should just be different.
Persistent is a bit niche as well. You could see some value but for 40 second? Idk if that is worth. It could just be me; I'd rather go CoH and ShadowStep if I wanted to accomplish the same thing.
Mending perks are a cool idea, they should add them in. 9 seconds sounds like a lot though, could work.
I like being able to see what the killer sees with insight. That is a cool idea to run with. You could probably buff it and it'd be fine. I don't think what you have is very strong but it is a cool concept.
Thanks! Im mostly just making these as solution to things that would reward my playstyle or just based on situations that happen a bit to often. Imo the mending one is fine since you're not gonna get any "value" out of it right? You're trading a perk slot for 9 seconds of not mending so i dont think it would be very good, mostly just to have more fun against legion. And i see why insight sounds bad but i think you really need the 2 gen requirement since it would be really good against hex perks! I do agree with the rest so thanks for the feedback!!

Happily forgot about plague*

The houses are quite broken if you learn them.
The first floor vaults are the only good ones on the entire map, i just cant see you winning anything by dropping from the second.

About as common as bubba i would say

Love the idea but i would actually cry if mama grabbed me off a gen...

someone got stunned one to many times.

I don't take items in match because I go with Ace in the Hole + Pharmacy, since I like how it may spice the match with the "random" factor and also counts as a chance to farm stuff in a way. You could say I "always" load with an emergency med kit by defeault I guess (due to Pharmacy's effect on the first chest)
But if you had to bring one item forever what would you bring?

being toxic and playing fairly are subjective opinions when it comes to dbd (most cases) if you want to 4k, 4k. its that simple. you dont need play fairly or camp and tunnel. just play in a way you find is the perfect balance between "fair" and "sweaty".

Some players play to win, its just a fact. I may want to play less competitive, however there is nothing wrong with wanting to play to win. However when you play against players way bellow your skill level, all you are doing is dominating a match, its fun to an extent to see how far you have come, but its not really a match.
i agree with you on that. i personally find it more fun when i can focus on things i could have done better during a chase!

I didn’t think of it like that. It’s pretty even between toolbox and medkits when I do remember to take something. I think medkits might win slightly.
then vote for medkits! <3

You dont need to have the best perks to have fun in this game (for survivor at least). You grind to get better and if thats not a goal you are willing to work hard for thats fine, but dont try and blame the game for your lack of enthusiasm. maybe try and play different killers that are not as perk dependent or switch more over to the survivor side if its too difficult for you.

Mhm. The situations arent really comparable, imo. In the situations you describe I would opt for the one above my skill - but it has nothing to do with the skill (or "sweaty-ness"). I wouldn't flashlight save after fl save and loop a brand new killer in a way thats bordering on bullying. -- On the other hand I don't particularily care if I escape when I had a fun match with "good chases and tense situations".
well thats kinda the point. i might have explained it badly but its basically asking if you would rather have a challenging match and lose, or an easy match and win. (sorry for bad wording)

I can see how its discouraging but thats just how the game is

Squeaky Feng, her hook screams sound stupid AF
As for killer, probably Legion at the moment
getting real tired of mending by now...

No “I rarely bring anything “ choice?
surely you have taken some item into a match more than another right?
-
@JaviiMii said:
medkits. though. technically, i don't bring them but take them. I routinely run pharmacy and have become a bit of a hoarder 😅🙈 But if I actually do bring an item, my go to is a medkit - usually a brown, no add-ons. just having that heal on me if need be is kinda reassuring. And leaving a brown in a chest when i take my green out seems like a nice thing to do as well, right?
Flashlights seem like fun too - but the way my matches tend to go there isnt all that much to do with a flashlight.
If it seems to be NOED-o'Clock I bring a map with range & sharing add-ons.
holy ######### i forgot that maps existed lmao

i don't really see the need to nerf exhaustion perks? The only problematic one is DH which can still be countered most of the time. besides there are killer perks that counter exhaustion perks like fearmonger and blood echo.
-
A lot of these green glyphs are bugged! there are others on badham IV, dead dog, midwitch, and i am lead to believe there are at least a few spots on every map that are inaccessible.
-
Cant we please find better ways to cope? i get camped almost every other match (not because of strategy) and i am close to turning to bubbaism :(
stop this never ending cycle before its too late!!
-
i would do multiple choice but idk how :/

Pyramid Head is the most overrated killer. His torment trail is awful, his shockwave is the most over-broadcast power in the game, and his addons are the worst of any killer. He's high B at best, but people love to call him S-tier. Yet, for some STRANGE reason, you never see high tier killers playing PH nonstop, or people running him in tournaments, or even just seeing tons of him in the current MMR quagmire. He's not BAD, but he's wildly overhyped.
I do agree. I think a lot of the hype is just due to him being from silent hill dlc and it being a good adaptation.

Feng Claud and nea are the 3 most overrated survivors in this game. I don’t understand why people like them so much. For killer it’s easily huntress. So many people play her
She is the most played killer and maybe a bit overrated, but i think she deserves her spot there. Just a fun character to face and to play that has a pretty and unique original concept.

@GentlemanFridge said:
Slinger is hardly overrated. One of the rarer killers to face, in my experience.
You ain’t wrong with Feng though.
Really? I feel like every third match is some amazingly good save the best for last deathslinger main, maybe im just unlucky.
-
i mean, finishing the last gen is a priority for survivors. killers will most likely get the kill on them if they do commit to the gen which is a completly fair tradeoff, so how is it toxic again?

@DattPugg said:
It's no secret the vast majority of the survivor community wants BT basekit, so how do you make up for this on the killer's side? There are two suggestions that I have and I'd like to hear what you guys think of it. (Also these are one or the other, not both).
1: Pop basekit (to a degree)
Make it so that each time you hook a survivor you get a basekit pop, but lessen the numbers (10-15%). Not only would this help the killer during the midgame but it would also encourage the killer not to camp and find a gen to kick.
2: Barbecue and Chili basekit
Each time a survivor is hooked, all survivors further than 40 meters from the hook have their auras revealed for 4 seconds. This would provide useful info to the killer and yet again promote anti-camping. Maybe nerf it a bit so that survivors repairing don't have their auras revealed so that the killer can't control the gens too well without any perks.
i dont really think any perks should be base-kit and i dont understand why people want it. but for killer i guess BBQ

Making this because of reasons. Who do you enjoy more, and why?
PP man is just a bit too basic compared to nemesis :(
both are still fun tho!!

David King is a fictional character. If we need to add more depth to an already irrelevant subject, might as well do it for representation right?

Freddy's are usually the easiest. You just got to put them to sleep which happens naturally anyway.
I don't like Nurse and Twins dailies.

Dead Hard. They keep Dead Harding into the walls cause they’re looking back at me.
So true! the amount of times i see survivors panic DH or use it to headbutt a wall is insane!

Sometimes, the survivors aren't turned towards the trap anymore. Instead they are turned the opposite way.
Mitchi has a video or two about that. That's why now he is using the shackles.
There are two posts reporting this in the bug report part. I've timed links to videos from Mitchi to illustrate the problem.
Ahh ok, thank you!

Wraith or Trapper are pretty new player friendly, plus they both come with the game. If you're a good shot then Huntress is also pretty good probably. (I am a terrible shot though so take that opinion with a grain of salt. 😄) Sadako is also probably not too hard to learn.
First mention of sadako! i totally agree!

About Hag: Putting traps and attacking anything that triggers them will work to get kills but I wouldn't recommend it.
First, she is currently bugged. Second, one doesn't learn the basics with her.
I guess hag might not be the best to learn basic mechanics with since she's a pretty unique killer, but she is strong and can be difficult to counter even at high ranks. You're right though, she's more of a killer for more expirienced players, i might be a bit biased since she is one of my mains lol (also how is she bugged?)

We'll make it isn't the best healing perk, coh obviously is. Many want to only play the best of the best. Same for hysteria, hex:plaything does pretty much the same thing but is much more stronger. Although I agree these perks are not bad at all!
I like a lot Play with your Food even though it's condition is situational (playing both pwyf and nemesis outside of memeing isn't really strong). I also wish I had coup de grâce (I don't want to get Twins so I'm waiting to see it in shrine).
Now with all the nerfs COH is receiving i would argue that we'll make it is better since the only requirement for activating it is unhooking someone for a major healing boost for 90 seconds (with no cooldown). if you pair it with empathy you're basically a moving boon! and why not buy twins? unpopular opinion but i enjoy both facing and playing as them. (but thats just me)

noed is like ruin, people complain but if you run it.... its cleansed so fast, what noed? what ruin?
here's how your noed game gonna go....
5 gens pop, you got noed, you down 1-2 and the totem is cleansed before ytou even hook one
they all escape
you get teabagged.
we all meme about noed but really it doesnt do much.
All fun and games till noed spawns next to the hook ;(
-
Its annoying to face as killer and boring to use as survivor. I honestly dont know how they could fix it to make it a fun and balanced perk without completly reworking it. Maybe just remove the self care option from it completly and insted make it only boost healing speeds? I still feel like that would be a waste of perk slots as you could just bring desperate measures or botany knowledge.
-
I get that its frustrating to face DH when all they do is use it for distance to pallets, but it is still easily countered. If you got clapped by DH in any other circumstance than mentioned (Including most power based attacks) , they were probably good survivors who knew how to fake DH or be patient with it or you are just not as good as you think.
-
Oni is definitly one of the more annoying killers to face in solo q if you have teammates that feed him his power, but if you and your team knows how to counter him and play around his blood fury he is pretty balanced!
