I heard the stadia is straight ass, I didn't even know it existed until the days right before its release
-
her hurt box is too big compared to some other survs, she's more easily whacked from the rear
-
Playing my wife's game, with Legion, no experience with him whatsoever, got a 4K. Her rank is at 20, so they assume I'm a rank 20 player.
"Typical Legion player"
People are gonna cry no matter what. Whether you win or lose.

You, you didn't read x)
The way you worded this is very confusing, and it makes it seem like killers deserve more for doing less. You are essentially saying "more rewards for a killer who is active after hooking". The result of securing a 4K might be a black pip, but you said it in a way that implies that a killer should get more for 2K instead of 4K.
I read it, but giving more "cauz they're nice" doesn't really speak to me on a serious level.

I definitely agree it needs a penalty and anyone who doesn't think so doesn't play much as a survivor because that's what's been happening a lot recently. It is disabling someone to actually play the game and it isn't fun at all. I can play as a killer and kill all the survivors without babysitting a single time. It's also funny to the ones who say "don't get caught" when there are so many killer perks that show your location anyway...
Heads up, last post was made over a year ago. Forum etiquette is to leave a dead topic be, not to revive it.

I love demo, but he's loud and pretty easy to evade despite how quickly he crosses the map.
Myers has a 1-2 minute period of *near* uselessness where you need to hit T2, then he becomes great. 99 yourself for T3 and use perks like Infectious Fright. StBfL, and Enduring. His T3 is awesome if you use detection perks or perks to boost speed.

@Omans Explain how they got to red ranks then. They cannot 'do nothing' and pip, it is not possible.
Same, seems like a pretty biased view

So do the bare minimum and get rewarded for it?

Reasoning? You make zero sense on ANYTHING you’re saying. You twist my words around in your favor.
A.) I said Billy and Plague do not pip easily
B.) I said Billy does not get good Chaser score
C..) You interpreted that as me saying “Billy is bad” because you hate Plague since you potato playing her and she doesn’t get good emblem scores.
Yeah I’m a Meg main but you seem to be the one who has the “big brain” over here.
Agreed, this guy seems selective in what he reads

Yeah, I do, I don't personally see why breasts are sexualised as much as they are but that might just be because I'm gay. Please don't insinuate that I'm perverted just because I believe that it would be cool to have a shirtless cosmetic for a female character.
It's not too far fetched to think that an anonymous person -- on the internet -- may possibly be a pervert. We've had people calling for shirtless Myers for a minute, and we did get shirtless David, but a shirtless woman would never fly.

I have Plague at P2 and have a friend who mains Plague. Neither of us have ever won a match as Plague beyond Rank 12. And before I get the infinite onslaught of "lol ######### Killer" I've gotten to Rank 1 as Wraith and have won at high ranks with Wraith, Clown, and Legion. So if I can win with "bottom tier" Killers like Wraith / Clown / Legion and can't get more than 2k as Plague if I'm lucky that's certainly a sign of something.
There's also the fact that Plague gets #########-all for Emblems, which makes playing her at high ranks a guarenteed way to derank without being "AFK."
And I've seen P3s in the white and yellow ranks. Telling us about your accolades doesn't validate your opinions about a killer. I usually make 2k with her, sometimes 3 or 4. Plague isn't not the greatest killer, but she certainly isn't the worst.
I used to think that hex perks were completely pointless simply because the first time I tried running them, they got popped within 30 seconds of the game, eight games in a row. I almost always run Ruin now (because of course I should), but I can't let a streak of comically bad luck skew my view of these perks.

Want a Killer who only wins against complete brain-damaged morons and will absolutely never succeed at any rank above Rank 20?
Plague.
Plague relies almost entirely on the Survivors playing like trash. There is also no higher end strategies to be learned as Plague: you puke on Survivor you chase them like a default Killer.
Plague is more brain-dead than Leatherface and more of a noob stomper than old Freddy.
You play a lot of Plague right? I mean you must know, you sound so sure.
-
"...all games have their creepy players, but..."
bud what are you on about
-
The Shape is both effective and relatively easy. I'm not saying he's gonna be the easiest to learn, but he's a good start.
Trapper is another killer who can be insanely effective based on how well you can control a survivor's movements and how well you set traps. He might seem a little difficult (especially when survs pop your traps repeatedly) but he's really great to learn with.
Wraith is about as basic as it gets. Go ghost and find a survivor. Body block if you can and get a hit in. Rinse and repeat. Super straight forward.

Typically I cleanse 1 to 3 totems per game. Always cleanse, never NOED.
-
I've never-not broken a sweat playing her. Plague is not easy to play, yet you wanna make her saving grace infinitely more difficult to use?
-
what is there to discuss, you like your homies don't you lol

People seem to think the devs have thumbs up their collective rear ends, but these folks see stats before us and make decisions based on what they see across the board. I come to this forum to see the latest news and speculate the meta, but it seems like a large portion of the posters here are fresh out of a match and willing to QQ about something.
I'd like to say that certain killers are objectively terrible, but these numbers are not that insanely polarized. There are some outliers which are a little concerning, but I don't think that the future changes that will be made are gonna be that drastic. I think that when you play only survivor, or only pick one or two killers, changes will appear to have much more gravity, and it's easy to just blame the devs. But for those that play both sides, with a larger selection of perks and killers, I think that it's easier to stomach updates.
-
Pick the perk you want and then look for multipliers and useful addons. You can always save points by avoiding "trees". Let the entity reach the base of the tree so it shuts down the other branches. You can avoid roughly half of the blood web level by doing this.
-
Legion is pretty terrible. Can be fun, but hard to make hooks.
Doctor is a another hard to play killer. His range is not that great so you almost always wanna boost it with an add-on, and tier II doesn't really do much anyway. He's great for farming, especially with BBQ, but he doesn't get much love.

I welcome the BL change but it's not even primarily because of what the passive allowed it to do. It just bothered me that it was the only exhaustion perk that did something while exhausted 😄
Agreed, every exhaustion perk was useless once it was used. BL was the only one that allowed you to keep looping indefinitely.

Tbh I hate plague so much, I won't even play her without double apple it's the only way I can get a kill at all with her.
Use one early game, one late game. Try to hook by the pools so you can capitalize on their altruism. Using them back to back is not a good idea, you essentially burn through all your best ammo.
-
She can be tough, but she's a fun killer to play.
Pros: Can spread infection to a survivor by infecting totems, gens, ledges, pallets, etc. This becomes a great way to force someone that's looping into becoming infected. She can also track survivors (to a degree) by keeping watch on what they touch. As in, hiding in a locker is not a good option since the locker will turn green. You can also hear vomiting and coughing, which is another nice bonus around bigger loops and jungle gyms. Survivors will typically avoid cleansing till late game, but you can see where they cleanse and you can become OP for a short while if you pick up Corrupt Purge. Her perk Infectious Fright is very useful when you have Corrupt, and is great on killers like Shape and Hillbilly (instadowns)
Cons: She's a tall lady and easy to spot. Her purge can be avoided relatively easily just by juking. Becoming fully infected also doesn't guarantee a down. Some survivors won't purge at all, meaning you won't get that sweet Corrupt. Requires a lot of juggling. I personally have not found much use for Dark Devotion because it relies on hitting the obsession. Corrupt Intervention is a decent perk for killers that require setup (Trapper and Hag), but it can be bypassed by simply waiting out the timer.
If you do play her, you can stock up on her Apple addons because they give you a pool of Corrupt Purge right from the start. Starting with 2 pools is good insurance against SWFs imo
-
I prefer double apple for Plague, you can wreck a team pretty quick if the map's right.
Iri King and High Stim Electrode for Doctor. The only thing that makes him remotely viable.

Going against the most broken addon in the game like 10 times in a row is the most annoying thing ever and why do you even bring up killer for no reason?
Because there's more than one mode? Play one, play the other. If you're having crap luck with escaping, play killer. If SWF's are bullying you, play survivor. The reason being: quit moaning and play the other side. You have devs actively trying to fix DBD... and you still complain because they wanna tell people the good news?

Hmmm very true. Most of the people on this forum "always wanna play but never wanna lose." as System of a Down put it...
When I lose I usually feel very little in terms of negativity. I'm just like "Nice. Well played." I don't get mad if I get facecamped either, I just tell my friend "Time to gen rush."
I play for BP and for fun, not to escape every game or get a 4K every game, so I don't understand why there's so much complaining...
I consistently got 0k's playing as Trapper, with 1-2 perks, no addons (trying him out). I had no qualms about it. They didn't teabag and were efficient. I gave all four props, and in every game for all the players that deserved it.
I've gotten 0k's playing as Shape, with a damn-good-slow-gen build and solid addons. Still gave props, still no teabags.
My eyes were dry the whole time because I'm not thinking on one dimension. Camping has existed in one form or another in literally every competitive activity, it's not going away.
-
You can camp a hook and (possibly) secure a single kill. Even when you sit an inch from the hook, you can still lose the kill. If you feel the need to take to the forums to QQ, just don't play the game.
Killer is hard, survivor is hard too. The game is ranked and it will eventually get harder because you'll run into smarter players. These forums seem to be overrun by players that want to win more consistently, but don't want to take advantage of the current meta. Quit whining and do more gens/make more hooks.

What you want next ? survivors to never have a chance at winning ? I mean it's clear your a toxic killer clown, no pun intended - but clearly never do gens go off that fast unless your a terrible killer. You guys have Franklins demise and HEX RUIN!! LOL Go troll some where else.
Not fun when you playing a game and your teammates DC cause of the OP killer.
And what i'm asking for is very very reasonable ? No ? 5% ? the ability to see hex totems with only an ultra rare map ? Bro stop trolling seriously and most importantly stop being toxic my guy.
What you're asking for is ludicrous. Being toxic and being honest are two separate things. You (indirectly) admit to not being good at the game but you want a handicap? A 1% change will affect literally every aspect of the game. I never thought I'd say it in such a serious capacity, but "git gud".
Edit: Also, "survivors only"? C'mon man. If you wanna make some ranks, play both sides. Don't be that guy that just moans about one side or the other just because he's ignorant of it.

Tier lll is still a basic attack, so yes Surge would still work on Tier lll Myers.
The attack type does not change what so ever... it just increases his lunge, vaulting speed, Terror Radius, and applies the exposed effect on all Survivors like NOED or Haunted Grounds would normally do.
I appreciate it, thanks.
The build has been working very well so far, gen progress is very slow. T3 let's me slug the obsession quickly so I can take them out of the action while focusing on kicks and hooking other survivors for those DL tokens.
