What exactly do you have issues with.
Gens going to fast? Chases too slow and if yes, how long is your average chase and which killer?
Do you have issues finding and tracking survivors?
the problem is im going against survivors who are way better than me and consistently going against them. I do play both sides and I do understand how mindgames and such work I might just be bad at them, but im having issues being able to catch survivors. I do play lower tiers killers so maybe thats the issue and with fewer good perks but theyre who i enjoy playing personally :)

Like maybe 5/10 on surv. I've only gotten to purple ranks once but I'd say I'm not the worst
And 4/10 killer. I'm.... ok at killer
-
Idk how tf people get to rank 1 dude. I've gotten to purple once, and I'd say I'm decent at the game

It's not as easy as just adding them. He's a licensed character. They need permission.
Yeah I know don't worry man, just a Josh

I've played this game a lot and have never even gotten purple ranks, so how do people who dc against better skilled killers get red ranks?

Oh, killers do adapt for sure. I've started testing out non ruin builds and strategies since the anouncement was made. And most killers will. But here's what any "just adapt" survivors seem to be failing to understand. Adapting to this particular change means things far worse than you having to deal with Ruin.
I've tried simply using Corrupt Invention in place of Ruin, but it was only a small delay before a full on gen rush. I've tried to use Enduring, Spirit Fury, and Brutal Strength to see if shorter chases could help me catch up to the gen rush, and it definitely can't. The only solution I've found that works so far is running BBQ, Corrupt Intervention, Blood Warden, and NOED for perks and then hard tunneling a survivor to get them out asap. And every single game I've done this in, I've without fail had survivors whine and complain in the end game chat.
So survivors cry that we should adapt and then cry when we adapt. There's no end to it. But just try opening up any closed minds for a second and attempt to honestly consider which you would prefer: killers that use ruin to deal with the gen rush? or killers that use other necessary methods to deal with the gen rush?
Bro chill it's a game

you don't have to kick it just passively regresses. but now you cant use perks like pop or surge since it is always regressing. and its STILL A HEX PERK
in game atm, when a gen starts regressing it regresses at the rate of 1/4 the base gen repair speed of a survivor, with max level ruin this is doubled to 1/2 the gen repair speed so basically
it takes 40 seconds of regression time to regress 20 seconds of survivor repair time
the perk is constantly on all gens, so the moment a gen is not being worked on it starts to be regressed. as long as ruin is still alive that is
I see how that's not as good as old ruin, but I don't see how it's complete garbage
-
So question: Is the new ruin going to regress if you kick the gen or does it just passively happen? Because I feel like if it passively loses progress at all times then that's pretty aight

Usually happens when the survivor is stupid and runs into you or runs to an empty area, but you as the killer get punished for their stupidity/mistake.
Totally fair (if you play nothing but survivor and are bias af)
Okay but, you can down them again in like 10 seconds

The game is about a grind. That's by design so players always have something to work towards.
If another mode came and it offered more for the grind the players would all move over so nothing would change.
If there is less of an incentive then who would move over to play it?
Also what's to stop competative players playing the casual mode thus making it competative?
Okay but like, that's not a problem for things like csgo that has people already do that, it's not really a problem

The constant comparison by survivor mains between DS and NOED always makes me laugh. Apples to Oranges.
If you get killed by NOED, you are a mediocre at best survivor.
Simple as that. I NEVER get hit by NOED. I destroy totems. There's only 5. I do that for my team, and I pip nearly every game. Even if I die. How do you counter DS? There's no way to stop it from ever coming into play. In fact, survivors rub it in the killers face by throwing themselves at the killer knowing that in that moment, they are invincible.
OOF. Comparing those two perks.
KEK
DS should not proc if someone else has been hooked. As I stated, if someone else has been hooked, you are not being tunneled. That means the only time DS would come into play otherwise is if you're cocky and throw yourself at the killer. End of story.
I mean, if you don't pick them up you don't get hit with ds. There you go.
-
How did the survs get 27k bloodpoints though? I'm lucky enough to get 20 even if I escape
-
To quote a certain rapper, ahem "It do not matter."
-
Hey man, dark sense isn't that bad, if gives you info on where the killer is if you don't use really good headphones or don't use them at all.
-
I definitely do get errors, but it's only like twice when I play for a good 2-4 hours
-
I play a female survivor, one; because haha so quirky playing other gender, and also they take up less of the screen
-
I think this would be interesting but instead of it being based on swf, it's based on the surv themselves. If you have a 2 swf, then both players just get a certain percentage of repairing speed taken down, which would counteract if it's 2 swf
-
I don't use ruin but I'm also only green ranks lol
-
Honestly spirit and nurse are powerful, but I can't win against a clown unless they just got the game.
-
I understand what he means by tunneling 3 people, saying that the killer instantly goes for the unhooked at any given time.
-
I play leatherface cause I feel bad for the big boy
-
I play as cannibal for the sole purpose that he's a weak killer, and when I do get 4ks and such I feel nice about it. On the other hand, when I go against survs that have even the slightest idea what they're doing I get destroyed
-
I think tunneling is definitely very prevelant in dbd, but that guy doesn't know what tunneling is. He should have tried to find a safe place to heal instead of staying around where the killer was. I play like you where I try my hardest not to tunnel or camp.
-
I'm really a survivor main but do play some killer, and I try my best to not tunnel or camp because it's not fun. Being tunneled and camped makes me want to die and I want the survivors I play against to have fun. If I don't get a 4k, oh well, try better next time. I'm not good at killer at all as well so I'm obviously in green ranks, so the survs I go against aren't always the best, but I still want to make sure they have fun. Unless they teabag, then I don't care what happens to them.
-
I totally agree with the somewhat toxic SWF, but my PS4 is a few years old and only lags from time to time when I'm playing killer or survivor. Of course on days that it does lag it's unbearable and I can't focus, but that's a small percentage of days for me so I'm not sure why you are having more lag problems.
-
I use self-care although I don't like being chased as I'm not the best, I'm much better at doing the objective.
-
Nurse is definitely powerful in the right hands. I play on console so really good nurses are rare, but you know what isn't rare? Good clowns. I have yet to survive against a good clown. Obviously I'm just not the best at the game, but I see that nurse is as hard as clown sometimes, but I think I'm alone in that thinking because I never see anyone complain about clown.
-
Bruh moment
-
An interesting thing to me (this is kinda off topic) is that I see no one complain about clown and his gas. Personally I can't counter him and I die every time I go against him, unless they literally don't know how to use their gas. Imo I've found playing against clown harder than nurse in some cases, unless the nurse has a lot of skill, then I'm dead.

I play ps4 dbd all the time, and my internet is absolutely terrible, but I still get fine games as long as the killer's ping isn't going from 50 to 800 in spikes.
