    The pallet one for The Killer is really easy just respect every pallet.

    However the one about the survivor not getting hit will probably encourage a lot of people to just play immersed

    The point is to change up the normal game.

    Yeah, you can probably cheese many of these, but when we got a challenge like "disturb 25 birds" I think they may need some help coming up with ideas.

    Besides there are plenty of beginners that aren't aware that not taking a pallet stun is an option.

    And for survivors most SWF play altruistically, that one forces them to play egoistically.

  • I think the intention is very good, but I don't think we need to complicate the game further to get rid of this bad behavior.

    First of all I think they should speed up the unhooking animation a lot. There is no worse feeling than wanting to get away but you are stuck in an animation. Not to mention the unhook/grab standoff.

  • Pretty tense as it is.

    I'd rather have them fix the animations than buffing all the stealth killers even further with this suggestion

  • If you pay attention to the characters in game you can clearly see that when you rotate the camera around they turn their heads and shoulders towards it.

  • Make Unbreakable basekit. Slugging shouldn't be a valid strategy.

    100% agree, especially when playing solo and can't rely on teammates.

    The Killer shouldn't be able to just leave players on the ground and snowball the game because no one picks you up. You shouldn't have to rely so much on other players.

    I even would like to give Selfcare as basekit, but balance it so it's much more worth to do as a team, which it kinda is already.

    - Make the survivors only produce scratch marks while in a chase (it makes sense if you watch horror movies and see the chase scenes where the survivor is desperately trying to escape against a killer)

    Simple, don't sprint.

    I have nothing against the killer being able to find survivors running around without a care in the world.

    Make Ebony Mori only available against 3 or 4 man SWFs

    No!

    SWF should have no affect on the balance of items, but I do however think they should increase it so you have to hook survivors twice in order to execute them. At the moment it is too much snowballing with Ebony mori. This is especially bad if the Killer is a camper.

    Make the killer gradually lose vision while he/she is facecamping

    Right problem, wrong solution

    Remove the timer on DS but make it so that it stays active until another survivor is hooked with the exception if you're the last survivor then it doesn't activate at all.

    Nope.

    If you make Unbreakable basekit as you want then this is not necessary. You could get up if he waits for DS to run out.

    Nerf flashlights even further by removing flashlight blinds when the killer is destroying pallets

    Nope. There is plenty of perks and mind gaming for this to not be an issue.

    Make Gens take a lot longer (80 seconds solo -> 120 seconds and nerfing effects of cooperating even further) to complete so Hex : Ruin is not a requirement for winning.

    Again. Right problem, wrong solution.

    Hex: Ruin needs to be redesigned so it's not such a huge difference from running without it.

    Killers in general needs to be able to put enough map pressure (if they play correctly). At the moment only some killers are able to do that.

    Make Gates longer to open (20 seconds now, should be 1 minute).

    Definitely no.

    It's already almost impossible to open a gate if the killer finds the hatch first.

    This comes down to map pressure again.

    Make the killer see if someone has DS so he can avoid picking the survivor up by mistake

    Wow, you are really off the rails now...

    Why not show all their perks above their heads?

    Definitely no.

    Let the killer see how which survivors are SWF and which aren't

    No!

    SWF shouldn't make any difference on how you play.

    There is a lot of work that still needs to be done to get Solo players up to the level of SWF.

    provide a fun unranked mode (other than KYF)

    Don't pay attention to the ranking system if it's not for you.

    Splitting the player base with another mode is not something they are not gonna do, especially with queue times being this long

    Remove rank reset or adjust the time limit (I want to play DbD to relax and not to get put under pressure to get a certain rank before a certain deadline, I have a life outside of DbD too)

    If you are feeling such stress and pressure from a game maybe you should try therapy.

    You are focusing way too much on rank and it really makes no difference. It is literally just there to try match people with their equals, which yes, doesn't really work but hopefully one day they will figure out how to grade players better.

  • Don't know about you, but with rotating my head and eyes at least I can see 360 degrees

  • Exactly what BHVR is doing now..

    Fix ranking system so killers are only compared to the same killer and survivors to other survivors.

    Then wait and gather data to see where high ranked killers are having problems and where some have it too easy.

    The problem with the way they have been balancing the game so far is that the statistics they have been looking at have been scewed because it has been too easy to rank up and they've been comparing apples to oranges.

    Rank is supposed to separate good players from bad players, and when you fail to do that and then try to balance the game by looking at high ranks it gives an inaccurate picture.

    As a survivor main I'm not a fan of the current ranking system.

    Why do I have to do everything in the game to rank up?

    Some survivors are better at distracting and kiting killers around, and they shouldn't have to do gens to fill that quota.

    Other survivors are better at being stealthy and complete generators and shouldn't have to find the killer to be chased for a while just so they can fill that quota.

    Scenario 1:

    If 1 survivors kites the killer around the map while the rest of the team does 5 gens very quickly and everyone gets out, all survivors did great.

    Scenario 2:

    If a killer hooks and kills everyone very quickly with minimum chase, the killer did great.

    Both Killers and Survivors goal should be to end the game as fast as possible, but in very different ways.

    Maybe the thing they need to do is to stop evaluate ranking based solely on 1 game (at the end screen) and instead consider the performance of the player over multiple games.

    Sometimes you are just having bad luck, like players disconnecting within the first minutes and having a hard time to bounce back from that.

    Used to be 25k Bloodpoints so...

    I know, but "It was worse before" is not a valid argument

  • Pretty nice, though I'm not a fan that her power is only for tracking.

    It'd be much nicer to change the power by adding a bit of your perk idea "Mournful gaze" so she has an ability to use it to help in chases, but should probably be a bit more skill based than just having survivors in the field of view. If I may...

    Power: The Banshee shrieks, causing survivors in a cone in front of her to Panic for up to 60 seconds.

    Addons:

    • Increase Panic duration
    • Reduce Panic diminish factor
    • Longer shriek range
    • Wider shriek angle
    • Rare: When hit with Panic afflicted no longer hear the terror radius for 8 seconds

    Panic: Survivors affected by Panic breathe louder and their heartbeat can be heard by the killer within 8m. Running while in Panic causes tunnel vision and limits the survivor's visibility. Skill checks are much more likely to occur and are much harder when Healing, Repairing or Sabotaging. Being completely still (No interactions) outside the killer's terror radius calms oneself and causes the Panic to diminish faster (The longer being still the faster it diminishes)

  • His power can be countered, BBQ can be countered easily.
    The fact that billy quickly leaves the hook and goes for someone new across the map is the way every killer should work instead of just sticking around and worrying about that someone is gonna go for a save.

    Bubba is the exact opposite, he's designed to camp, almost every Bubba I meet has Insidious, so if any killer is in need of a rework it's him.

  • Don't care what they change the perk to, but the current Insidious needs to go.
    Camping shouldn't be a strategy

  • Spies From The Shadows

    • Increase chance to be always on all tiers 100%.

    As one who enjoys playing with Spies From The Shadows I'd rather that they increase the range and the map spreading of crows than increasing the chance.
    I like that it's not 100% reliable, but extremely effective when it works in my favor.

  • I'm almost entirely with you, but I would like to see self-care become part of the repertoire of survivors and removed as a perk with a nerf in speed.
    Self care atm is too fast, but running solo queue without self care is almost certain death when you can't rely on your fellow survivors. Not to mention at end game when you're the only survivor left, being able to heal up to full hit points is essential.

  • Allow survivors to vault over each other :)

  • @powerbats said:

    I have no problems with reworks but if were going to nerf something that helps solo q especially

    From what I've seen insta-heals are more common with SWF. From my experience when I, in solo queue, have insta-healed someone they more than not waste it and just end up downed again.
    When you lack the ability to communicate it's impossible to convey a game plan.

    @powerbats said:

    then killers should get a corresponding fix to something.

    I'm not necessarily against that, but that shouldn't be considered when reworking this particular item but instead be worked on in a separate pass.

    @powerbats said:

    Also if survivors shouldn't depend on items or add ons then neither should killers by the same token.

    Killers always consume their addons at the end of the match, so it's already a lot harder to do that.
    But yes, neither should killers.

    @powerbats said:

    As far as making a separate thread it's been discussed ad nauseum repeatedly but so far no luck.

    The best way to convince the devs to reconsider something is for the community to never stop talking about it.

  • My rework proposal doesn't stop you from using it against killers that one-shot you, it's just a slight nerf so it's not a guaranteed winner.
    Bhvr has said on stream that they're gonna rework insta-heals regardless, so this is just my suggestion.

    Survivors shouldn't depend on items or addons, if you have a problem with one-shotting killers then you should make a new thread and discuss that power.

  • @White_Owl said:
    Nah, it would make getting one-shots too easy.

    Not really, they still need to find the person.

    @White_Owl said:
    Currently the best defense against MYC is to have more than one survivor go for the save

    Hiding is usually the best defense against MYC, but depends on how tunnel visioned the killer is to find him.
    Still there is a lot of plays that can be played to counter this but most which only SWF can do because there is no information for Solo queuers to make use of.

    @White_Owl said:
    so the killer won't know who is exposed and who's not

    Not true, usually VERY obvious who the SWF group is trying to protect.

    @White_Owl said:
    and works even in the killer's favour since you have less people working on gens.

    Depends on the play from the survivors, but why is that a bad thing?
    Gens are done too fast now anyway

  • @TheLegendDyl4n1 said:

    i reads status updates easily and if other survivors see this they might body block you to take your item or so they dont die

    I don't care if you can read the status effect.
    That's just an asinine argument

    @Dabrownman1812 said:

    The point of myc is not to give you a free kill, you have to search for the person.

    Who said anything about that you wouldn't need to find this person?
    I'm just saying when you find the person you can more easily see that it is the person you were looking for.

    @Dabrownman1812 said:

    A killer player saying this, oh, this person is exposed. So let me go after this person, the 60 seconds allows the person to hide and enough for the killer to find them.

    That's just not true.
    If you hide in the same spot it might be more likely you'd be found, but a skilled survivor would sneak far away.

    @Dabrownman1812 said:

    Some killers with greater movement can take better advantage of this perk.

    So what? That's just part of the game to make builds that work for you.

    @Dabrownman1812 said:

    Your character screams in pain when myc activates, just be more vigiliant.

    Never noticed that, will look for it in the future, though the killer won't ever see that.

    @Dabrownman1812 said:

    Exposed gives the individual player the status, this works for any exposed effect.

    Uh-huh, but not for the other players in the game.

    I don't see what Valve has to do with it. The match maker is on Behaviour's servers not Valve's.

    I believe the point is that nobody, to my knowledge, has ever enforced a region-lock on Russia, even though it's probably the only feature that's requested in every online game ever.

    No idea what you're talking about, the "region-lock" for Russia is Europe even though Russia geographically lays in northern Asia

    I love how russians are always treated the same, but fact is that 99% of them are douchebags.

    They say the same thing about you.

    Let's keep it civil

  • The request is to avoid lobby dodging and improving player experience

  • I don't see what Valve has to do with it. The match maker is on Behaviour's servers not Valve's.

    That looks actually very nice, good job on that  Can you translate the perk explanations to English?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorem_ipsum

  • It would buff those addons, but making them mandatory I don't agree with.
    If it would show that some addons would become too powerful then maybe they should retune them instead.
    90 seconds of Exhaustion is a bit extreme any way.

  • "Sandbox" would be a better terminology.

    I agree that it would be nice to (at least as a killer) to be able to try different builds without having to lose anything.
