I was thinking about ways to maybe buff Shattered Hope to boost its pick rate a bit, and one idea would be to have it work kind of like Darkness Revealed but for totems. So the perk could read something like this: Shattered Hope (proposed) - You may interact with dull and Hex totems to reveal the auras of all survivors within 15 meters of a totem for 6/7/8 seconds. Additionally, whenever you1 comments 21 views last activity

I tried out the bots last night and they’re fun! Not as good as a good human player but they still managed to get some gens done when I tried the Knight against them. One thing I wasn’t sure about but didn’t test, if you use an add-on or offering in a custom match is used up afterward or do you get to keep it?2 comments 71 views last activity

Everybody has understandably been talking about The Knight since his power is so unusual and potentially really interesting, but personally I’m interested in how good or bad the custom match survivor bots are. I saw one or two games with them and at a glance they seemed decent? 🤷♂️ It’s hard to tell but they actually were running kind of reasonable looking paths and weren’t getting obviously stu2 comments 52 views last activity

One thing I’ve always been curious about but don’t have a good way to track without the game actually providing the stats is how often do killers at various MMR brackets miss attacks? Obviously the higher rated the killer the less likely they are to miss a given swing, but I always get the sense that on average players miss more often than they think they do. For instance, I suspect Unrelenting m45 comments 1,221 views last activity

Thinking ahead a bit, one interesting possibility with the upcoming custom match bots is that, since presumably part of their programming involves calculating the shortest walking distance between points on a map, it might be possible to leverage that pathing routine to calculate walking distances between hooks for purposes of random hook placement on maps. I was just thinking about how one of the benefits of being in a swf is knowing what perks your friends are running. With soon to be 12 Tomes in the game now with four chapters each it's becoming increasingly hard to look for challenges involving specific characters (e.g. if I want to play as Spirit, and I don't happen to know off-hand which Tomes involved Spirit, you have to kind of flip through everything to look for them.) I just realized there are a bunch of ways to make survivors scream (e.g. hitting them, explosions on generators, abilities like Doctor’s shock and Trapper’s traps, etc) but no killer perks that take advantage of screams. So it might be interesting to have a killer perk related to screams. I think generally speaking the 2022 roadmap the devs put out is nearly done, all they really have left aside from the next chapter’s characters are the mori changes on the PTB and bots in custom matches.
