As a solo survivor, I have to say after this update it doesn't feel like gen speed was increasedat all. I've played about half a dizen games and they feel 80s to me when I'm repairing one on my own. I was just playing against a legion and the game was normal. There was nothing indicating that anyone was hacking. UNTIL, I get to a gate and try to open it. NOTHING. And there was no entity blocking it. So it didn't appear he was running no way out. I get downed and hooked next to the other door, and when a survivor saved me I tried to open the other door. After the update, the lag is back on ps4. I want to believe that at some point this can be fixed. I've been playing since 2018 and I just cannot endure the incompetence any longer. With every rift and tome comes excitement. It'll be fun, I tell myself. I tell myself, I'll be able to rush through, especially with the reduced xp toward a rift fragment. THEN tome 2 is released and, as a survivor, I wonder why I do this to myself every time a new rift comes out. Even bps in a number of other games are not this grindy. At egc, when a gate is open, there's a chime and a laugh. I believe it occurs at intervals as the egc is expiring. I thought I was going crazy, but my son was playing with me (I'm on console) on pc and he heard it too. Did I miss the memo? Am I going nuts? So I made sure I was on deathhook with Kate per the requirements. Hatch spawned after all other survivors died. I jumped through the hatch, exited and received no credit for the challenge. Am I missing something? Can I only exit through a gate? Does the killer have to hook me twice (I struggled on the first hook to assure myself that I was indeed deathhook)? If you don't know the room to which I refer, it's a room which spawns only a window or a door. Unless the killer knocks down walls, you will be likely downed if you vault in through a window or enter via the door. This time it was the door. My question concerning this challenge is whether the perk, Leader, must be activated to receive credit for completion. So recently my son decided to download dbd to pc and has really enjoyed it a great deal more than console play. I am and will likely always play the game on my ps4. I've been in three straight matches wherein survivors spot me going for an unhook, only to sprint burst past me to grab it instead. I'm okay to give you the unhook if you want it, but come on. I've noticed when I'm the sole survivor left at the end of a match, some killers will camp the hatch to stall egc. I have been in a number of games where this could go as long as 15 to 20 minutes holding the game hostage. (I do have a life after all :P).
